Dominick's

If you are looking for a cool casual yummy dinner not far from Beverly HIlls - I always love Dominicks. The food is wonderful, well priced and very authentic (is my Italian grandmother back in the kitchen?) Nice to sit on the patio by the fire or in one of the cozy booths inside. Love the gnocchi, the hangar steak, oysters, kale salad and they make seriously good cocktails. Doesn't hurt that Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin used to hang out there. Has a cool vibe and very nice and efficient servers. I think we go there at least once a week.

You don't need a reservation for dinner and they make their own pasta! What more do you want? Chicken meatballs with pine nuts. The include 3-4 chicken meatballs that are so flavorful when you order the Cavetelli pasta. I also strongly recommend the burrata and gnocchi. Dominick's can be a bit pricey if you move into their meat based entrees. The pastas are all made from scratch at the restaurant so the prices reflect this.

One of my favorite spots in LA. Call ahead to be seated of the patio, great atmosphere. The risotto balls appetizer is AMAZING!

with a reservation, on time, still no way to get on the patio on a thursday night. service ok but not top quality. limited menu.

Will be closing soon, but Dominick's has long been a solid option for red-checker-tablecloth Italian fare in West Hollywood.

Great atmosphere and food! Make sure you sit outside. Very good wine list.

another place that is great if you don't want to run into anyone, because nobody much goes there. an old hollywood restaurant. eh.

Best spot in LA. Period
