Dominique's Wine Boutique & Bistro

We went for the wine and food tasting event during dinner so I can't speak for lunch. The soup was excellent! One of the best in Houma. It was slightly spicy and savory and I kept wanting to go back for another bite. The poblano peppers were good but slightly too sweet for me. The pepper jelly took over most of it. Braised short ribs were a bit dry but the potatoes and vegetables were perfectly cooked. Banana Foster's Cheesecake was the perfect dessert. Service was excellent. We were greeted by the chef and the staff was very attentive and nice. Would definitely dine again.

We had our company Christmas Party here, and let’s just say 10 out of 10. The staff were absolutely fantastic! The food was amazing. We had a wonderful time. Thank you!!

My brother-in-law had his wedding here. I helped coordinate the event and Dominique and her staff were so easy and professional. They went the distance to make sure everything was set and everyone was having a blast. The food was delicious! Her cakes were divine. I highly recommend them for any special event!

It's a great party spot. Haven't really had a meal here but I imagine it's great if my family chooses to celebrate here.

Dominique's served our Marine Corp Ball this year and the food was delicious. The staff was also on top of their game with Covid restrictions and professionalism. We thank you!

This is a great local restaurant with attentive staff and great food. My wife and her high school friends meet here for lunch on occasion and catch up on family news. Today we attended a wedding reception here.

We had a great birthday meal. The service is excellent and atmosphere is relaxing. We had the best bread pudding ever.

The food and service is outstanding. We started with the shrimp and bacon flatbread topped with pepper jelly. Quite a culinary experience. Hubby had the smoked Gouda burger with potatoes au gratin. Burger was juicy and cooked perfectly. The potatoes au gratin put our tastebuds in heaven. Don't pass up on this culinary gem. We will definitely be back.

Found this spot to be a delightful place for lunch. We had the special with a glass of white wine. Price was right and service the best but we adored the ambiance. We will make it a regular thing from now on.

Truly a gem of a lunch spot in downtown Houma! Everything we had was perfectly prepared, fresh and delicious. The fish tacos are amazing. The chicken & hummus sandwich is great. Fantastic service too, all in a very cool setting. Hard to imagine that they're open only for lunch. If you people in Houma don't support this place, you're crazy! Let's work to get them enough business to justly dinner hours. I'd drive back down for that!

What a fantastic gem! In Houma, no less! There is nothing that I can't rave about for this wonderful little lunch spot. The atmosphere is perfect. Very comfortable, inviting, clean, and is a little upscale without being pretentious. The patio seating on the bayou is perfect on a nice day. One of my favorite things might be the most simple. Dominique's offers infused water, in addition to plain. Each day, they pick different refreshing flavors to infuse. . . mint, berry, lavender, cucumber, YUM! The food is phenomenal. High quality ingredients, properly prepared, and presented beautifully. Everything on the menu makes sense. The staff has always been very friendly, polite, and professional. Top notch! I guess if I MUST complain, it's that the hours make it hard to visit if you're a 9-5'er and don't work nearby. Without weekend hours, you're pretty much out of luck. What is pretty amazing, though, is that Dominique's now has a "Dinner Delivery" program. I haven't tried this offering myself yet, but here's what I know. For $45, you get an entree and two sides for four people delivered to your door. You can order the offered entree or a whole roasted chicken. There is also a soup of the day, a dessert, and wine options to add on. For the quality of food you get, this is an absolute steal!!! The only thing to be aware of is you might not be able to do a same-day request, so make sure you plan to place your order a day ahead. If I lived within the delivery zone, I would be hitting this up at least once a week. . . Okay, maybe three times. Or four.

Visited Houma for the first time the other day and had a nice lunch here! We started with the margherita flatbread. It was really good although the extra dusting of salt and pepper before serving made it almost too salty. A lot of our food was a tad bit on the salty side. (The au jus served alongside the French dip was too). My friend had the aforementioned sandwich and I had a club with roasted potatoes. The potatoes were really good. Soft on the inside but crispy on the outside and seasoned well with some kind of herb/spice blend. The sandwich was ok. The ham and turkey slices were thick but it was a bit dry and lacking in bacon. (For my taste lol). Overall it was pretty good and they have a nice view of the bayou, too.

This is such a lovely place. Everything we order was delicious. We had the ceviche, the soup of the day, and the steak. I can't complain about a thing. It's sad that Houma can't appreciate a more fine dining place. We will be back! I hope business picks up for them.
