Domino's Pizza

I order Alfredo pasta with chicken, mushrooms and spinach and this is what i got. I called and they said they will not exchanged. I came for vacation and this is by far the worse food place

Placed order at 9:48 and it was delivered at 10:55 and after I called the store three times. The order was missing the sauces, which I had paid and to make things better the driver left the food on the floor at my front door. This is unacceptable!!!!!

Been ordering from here for many years, even from their old location. I've very rarely had any issue. And if they do make a mistake, they let you keep the pizza or drinks etc that they mistakenly delivered to you plus your own order. But usually everything is correct and tastes good. Occasionally forget the sauces.

UPDATE 8/18/2023 IDK WHY I BOTHER ORDERED A CESAER SALAD THE WHOLE SALAD WAS ROTTEN LETTUCE. THIS SUCKS EVEN WORSE CAUSE I SAVED THE SALAD FOR LUNCH THE NEXT DAY AND I SAW THIS. WHEN I GOT IT DELIVERED I DIDNT LOOK AT IT. HORRIBLE DELIVERY ! My pizza was literally stuck to the box. And all crushed . I don’t think I’ll be ordering again

Normally a great place but whenever I try to redeem my “free pizza” there is an error with the app. When you call, they are confused and say there is nothing they can do. Shady. You try to get a manager, they will put you on hold until you hang up.

This location repeatedly lies and claim they cant deliver the food to your door until they are pressured to then there is no problem. The first time they lied and said it was no longer allowed by the company, which didn't make sense since "leave at door" is an option on the app and website. I typically order on my way home so it will be there when i arrive. I've ordered 5 times from this location the last 2 years and there has been an issue every time. Missing items, refusing to deliver, and yesterday i got the wrong pizza, and it took them almost 2 hours and me threatening to call my bank before the driver came back with my cold pizza and wings. I was so fed up with them i just tossed it out. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!!!!

I had to change my review because the pizza that my family ordered tonight left something to be desired. Fortunately, my mom said that it tasted better than it looked. That's the only reason why this Domino's is getting a 3 instead of a 1. I'm also wondering what is wrong with the person who cut these slices. Terrible-looking pizza. Please do better.

The taste is very good, but the delivery doesn’t work well. I had problems twice and I had to pick it up.

I have never been so annoyed at a place ever. I ordered through the phone after receiving a credit on my phone number and stated that to the woman I spoke on the phone with and I had rested a Extravaganza large pizza, Italian sandwich and a 2-liter and I repeated the order multiple times to her to make sure she knew my order and I also told her that I wanted to use the credit on my phone number. When the order was delivered the driver asked me for payment and I had to wait on the phone for 20 minutes with the driver next to me on speaker trying to get someone to answer tab phone. After that ordeal I went to my apartment and saw that my pizza was not the specific extravaganza large pizza I repeated to this woman multiple times but a stupid cold cheese pizza it was literally cold as a brick and I wish I was exaggerating, and I will be adding pictures to confirm that it was iced cold. You can even see in the cheese how it already became to Latinus when it got delivered. After that I reached out to the store once I had to wait 20 more minutes, I don't know who works these phones at Domino's, but no one answers it ever and then when I finally got someone on the phone I let them know that I repeatedly mentioned my order in detail to the person that took my order and it arrived incorrect all the gentleman that I spoke to had to offer was that they will be able to get me a new pizza, but they wouldn't be able to guarantee what time it will be arriving and I asked why and they said because they had no drivers however they don't know what time my food will be getting here. They don't know when I'll be getting it nothing they didn't give me any information and then when I asked to speak to the general manager, the gentleman stated that he was the general manager, which I found really perplexing because of his unprofessionalism and lack of attentiveness and he said he couldn't guarantee I will be getting my correct order tonight and then hung up the phone after I mentioned that I'll be writing a review and I have not heard back from him since and I've called him at 9:30 PM and I am writing it at 10:04 PM. Beware of this garbage store. I wish they get shut down and I will be there to light a candle when they do.

2011 was the last time I ordered from a Domino's (the one in South Orange on Academy Street). Recently, I ordered delivery from the one in the Ironbound because our local pizza joint was closed that Sunday. Anyway, I was surprised by just how much Domino's has improved since I last remembered - with its online ordering system and menu items. Plus, I very surprised at how well delivery went. Maybe all these things happened in 2020 since a lot of pizza business struck gold during the pandemic. Whatever the cause, the Ironbound Domino's on Niagara Street did not disappoint. Though we most likely will order from our local, it's good to know this location is a viable backup option. Here's what we ordered (considering, all worth what they cost and pretty good for fast food pizza) - Small (10") Gluten Free Crust Pizza with Roasted Red Peppers, Black Olives, Mushrooms, Robust Inspired Tomato Sauce, Cheese ($16.66) - Classic Garden Salad ($6.99) - Chicken Caesar Salad ($6.99) - Medium (12") Hand Tossed Honolulu Hawaiian - made vegetarian so I could share: black olives, banana peppers, robust inspired tomato sauce, cheese, pineapple, shredded provolone cheese ($13.99) - Stuffed Cheesy Bread with Spinach & Feta ($6.99) - Garlic Dipping Cup ($0.75) - for the cheesy bread I placed my order online and could see the status of my order and delivery with the Domino's Tracker. Plus, the delivery guy was friendly and texted me when he was close so I could get the food from the car. Overall, very pleased with the delivery order.

Every.time I order from this Domino's I get the best service, my pizza comes out the way I like it. The people were very friendly and the person that took my order Allen was very helpful and patient when giving in my order. This Domino's is better than all the other ones I've gone to.

Ordered a thin crust pizza and received a pizza with zero sauce. I called to have this corrected and the person on the phone was extremely rude and hostile. Order from anywhere else. This dominos is not up to national standards. This

They recently moved to Wilson ave from Niagara street. Food is not the same quality as it was before. The dough is hard. The appearance of the food is not appetizing at all. By the time it gets delivered, it's lukewarm. The prices are ridiculous for below average food and the delivery charges are just as ridiculous. This place should be closed down.

Three times I ordered from this Domino's in newark on Central av. And was always disappointed. The last time was two days ago I had about four kids at my house (all family) and what was the last straw was . I ordered about 50 bucks worth of food at 7:30 pm, my order didn't get to my house till almost 9:30 . Most of the time you can never get through or they will hang up on you after waiting on the phone for 10 min. I know most of you are thinking why keep dealing with them, but it's what the kids wantedd at to time, and I can only use this one in my area, also us not going back is not fixing their problem hopefully this will.

Mary was very nice and friendly. She was very helpful. Respectful and explained all promotions well. She was patient with us.

Food arrived cold. I called and asked to speak to a manager or supervisor since there's always a problem with this place. The person on the phone claimed to be the manager and was very rude and dismissive. She was condescending and when I asked for her name she refused to give it to me. I had to file a complaint with corporate. Their customer service is terrible and the place is ran by teens and barely adults with bad attitudes. Owner is rarely around to address issues and never calls back regarding complaints.

I ordered a pizza and some wings and they never came as I paid with a card. I never use dominos again. Did I lose my money?

This place sucks ! My pizza wasn't even cut and it was cold and my wings were under cooked and my wife's sandwich they forgot to put the chicken on it

I must say that the Domino's Pizza tracker was not accurate, so the pizza was not ready when we arrived. However, the service was friendly and the food was tasty and hot. Everything in the order was correct and the location is very clean and welcoming.

Worst dominos ever and this goes to say i don't even like dominos i ordered because it's late night I'm hungry and i had a long day . Instead they scammed me out of my money . The delivery driver came with the pizza stating that i paid in cash . I ordered online and typed my card in . Just to be sure i came upstairs to get my card call dominos so they can re enter my card . I returned downstairs minutes later called the driver back and he stated to me that he eft and that he was bad at dominos and he would return later . He then told me it didn't matter my food would be cold anyway . Like first of all nobody ever told you to leave anyway . The driver Souhail or however you spell his name had a nasty ass attitude . I want my money back . They don't deserve any stars . I was given a new pizza but I'm afraid to eat it tbh

Well today I decided to try out the breadbowl pasta for the first time, I used an online coupon for a breadbowl pasta and a large pizza. But I did not get the breadbowl pasta that I wanted to try. I got it in an aluminum container!!! And the pizza was not hot at all. Stay away from this Domino's. The funny thing they have this new Domino's tracker in the website that lets you know of the progress of your order and about halfway there, it tells me: "your ordered has been double checked and triple checked for perfection". What a bunch of bull.

If you need fast pizza, this place is good.....for what it is, pretty good And fast. Ordered online, and it got here in less than half an hour.

The worst Dominos ever! Placed an order for pizza and wings and understandable it's busy then they deliver my food and it's cold are you serious for Christ sake you're literally 5 blocks away, how exactly does my food get ice cold from there to here. Then when we call the store to complain, 1st we are out on hold then whoever answered the phone didn't know what we were talking about we ask for a manager and get a thousand and one excuses before a manager finally picks up only to give us another bullshit excuse. I won't be ordering from here ever again I'll be ordering from the Kearny Domino's where they treat their customers with a lot more respect.

Not ordering again from the place where it takes 3~4 hrs for delivery. Ordered delivery at 8:30pm online. The website said it has been delivered around 10pm. I went outside to pick it up, and no one came for 30mins. I called the store, and they said the food is being delivered, and I have to wait. After another 30mins, I called again and they said the food is still at the store cold. 12:30am I was able to get the delivery

I ordered my food at 4:41pm .. I had to call the store three times .. the driver didn't show up .. she said she did .. I didn't see her .. I waited for her in the lobby .. she brings my food at 6:30pm and gets it out of the trunk of her car .. this is the worst service I've ever experienced at Dominos .. if I order again in the future .. I will not be ordering from 51 Niagara street Newark NJ Dominos

The overall experience was rough. I ordered a medium pizza for my hotel room, and when they arrived, they had everyone's pizza but mine, so they had to go all the way back and retrieve mine which took almost 20 minutes. They even called me to confirm my pizza was there, but they informed me once I walked all the way down that my pizza was not with them and then tried to blame me. The total elapsed time for a medium pizza that was crafted at a Dominos that was 1.7 miles away was over an hour which is a little absurd in my eyes.

Been ordering from this place for awhile now. This is probably the best dominos in newark. They have a great delivery service and the food is very good. I had a couple mistakes on my order in the past and the manager was great to actually offer a new pizza for the mistake. But asking for a half eaten pizza back was a bit weird in my opinion. But overall they offer a quick delivery service and great pizza, breadsticks, pasta, etc.

Where do I begin? I placed an order at 8:40pm (had to do over the phone because there website has been not working for several weeks). I explained i wasn't at the delivery site and was ordering for others and told them who to ask for. They told me 30-35 minutes. Having ordered here before, i know that really means an hour. About 9:50 i got a call from The delivery driver saying to come outside he was here...i explained I wasn't there and he had to go inside he grumbled and made noises I couldn't understand. I kept saying hello? Hello? And a few seconds later he hung up on me. At 10:30 i for a call (almost two hours after I ordered) saying the pizza still wasn't there. I called the delivery driver back multiple times and he didn't answer. I called the store the lady was very nice and apologetic and said they would remake the order. At 12:00 the pizza STILL wasn't there! At this point the place i was ordering was closing so I called the store to cancel the order and explain what happen the guy on the phone said whoaaaaaaaaaaaa whatttttttt I'm sorry. It was clear the pizza was never remade. The group did not eat dinner because of the carelessness of this location. I work in the food industry and know sometimes things happen but this is completely ridiculous. I've always had minor errors with this store but nothing major and nothing to call about but over 3 hours waiting for food that never even came is completely unacceptable. I advise anyone to find a different pizza place.

This is the worst dominos i have ever been to, i ordered food via the app and when the driver got to my address 45 minutes later, he shows up without my food. In the end i have to call them and they don't do anything except refund me my money, no apology at all. I will never order from them ever again!

I previously wrote a review where I was very upset with my order however, Management went out of their way to help solve my issues, I am very satisfied with the way in which they handled the issue. Thank you.

When you see this four-star review, you might be thinking to yourself, "Domino's...Really?" I'm not saying its gourmet pizza, far from it, but it delivers (haha) consistently and reliably whenever I have a craving for that greasy pizza. Whether it be delivered to my law school library or at home with friends, the drivers have always been nice, the food arrives quick, hot and tasty, and there's usually enough for breakfast the next day. There's room for gourmet pizza on my review list as well, but for sometimes you've got to show respect for el cheapo delivery as well.

The two stars are for the chicken and the parmesan bites. The bbq chicken is actually pretty good, and the mango chipotle works well for a commercial sauce. The parm bites are ok. And the pizza? It's spongy bread with cheese. Unfortunately the Central Ward has limited choices for late-night pizza. EDITED ON 7/21/24 - the feta and spinach artisan pizza is pretty good. I like that a lot, but the dough still isn't sufficiently pizza-like. The last time I ordered it though, it was intensely greasy. The Brooklyn-style pizza is better than frozen pizza, but has little in common with good New York pizza across the river. As for the desserts, the chocolate lava cakes are hot, but way too sweet. The cinnamon sticks are fine (it's just leftover pizza dough) and the sauce is ok, but kind of chemically and nothing special. I'd like to see a wider variety of beverages, including juice. Not all of us want soda. All of the delivery people at this place are wonderful, although sometimes they are given too many orders and take close to an hour to get to me. The new chicken dish (breaded bites of breast meat) tastes dry and uninteresting. The stuffed cheese bread? I don't know how it could manage to be so boring, but it is. As for toppings, the mushrooms taste like they were poured out of a can. Stick to fresh toppings like onions and spinach (sorry, I don't like meat on my pizza, so I can't speak to that). I miss the anchovies, but what can one do? I add them myself when the pizza gets here. As for the bread bowls, the one with Alfredo sauce is decent if you have a hankering for one. The sauce is obviously filled with thickeners and stabilizers, but so are all liquids in fast casual dishes. I would suggest sticking with the bbq chicken wings, the artisan pizza, the pan pizza, and the regular pizza. Skip the lava cakes unless you have an extreme sweet tooth. Order the parmesan bites or the cinnamon sticks. If your order is running late and you call the store, expect to get some surly, sullen idiot on the other end. Apparently their phone people are as unschooled in customer service as are most workers in Newark.

They are fucking horrible. Their customer service is whack. And their drivers are fucking stupid. Never again will I order pizza from them. And I mean never.

We order often from here. Pizza is Domino's quality, not independent pizzeria quality. Good for something fast or for kids' get together. Only problem is that driver will blow up your phone instead of ringing the doorbell, which is inconvenient when I order for my kids and I'm not home.

I know it's snowing & people don't want to be at work, but if someone is being polite with you it's only right to be polite back. I placed an order for my food and right after I stated the last numbers of my card, the gentlemen hung up on me without even saying a word. So rude!

This is probably the 20th time I order Cinnastix or Cheesybread late at night and deliberately ask for the Marinara sauce or Icing and it's missing. Then as usual I call and they're closed or closing and they pick up and say "dominos pizza closed" and hang up. There goes my $ in the garbage, Cinnastix without the icing is bread with cinnamon. Plus they now charge for the icing or sauce. They have got to do it on purpose. Very annoyed.

ordered online 2 medium pizzas and a soda, we waited the approximated time, when the driver arrived she forgot our soda, and said that it will be back in 10 min (I live less than 10 min from the store, by car), inmediately I called the store to report the forgotten soda, they told me that in 10-15 min the soda would be delivered, but after this time, nothing, so I called a second time, they told me to wait 10-15 more minutes, and that they will send something in compensation for the inconvenience, but after this time again, nothing! I called a third time, this time I was upset, nobody wanted to eat, because we were waiting for the soda, this time they told me that the driver have just left the store with my soda, and after 5 min the driver finally arrived with the soda.. but without the something extra at the end, we ended up waiting like 50 min for the soda (I would have canceled the soda, but at that hour, any other store was already closed) and eating the pizza cold... at least the pizza was good, but I doubt I would order from these store again

It's like they do it on purpose. Always forget the sauce. You have one job, grab a sauce and put it in the box, not that hard.

I place my order online, and then i get the "nom nom nom hope you are enjoying your order" which is still not here and it is going on an hour.. just keeps getting slower, they didn't have this issue before

Pizza is average. Not really sure why they charge 2dollars for delivery, hurts the drivers I'm sure

I LOVE ordering from them. Orders are always on time, accurate, and DELICIOUS! Not sure why people can't give a fair review to a great place. Don't let those other reviews discourage you. I work near Newark AIrport and the options to deliver are very limited. I have never had a problem with them. Keep up the great work! :)

did not ring doorbell and accused me of not paying for a previous order. i have always paid. did not call or show up like they said. note said do not call ring bottom doorbell. i even stood at the window waiting the entire time for them to show up. did not even drive passed my house. and recieved cold pizza. they didnt even bother heating it up. worst service ever from dominos on niagra st in newark, nj 07105.

I don't know where or when this domino's got bought, but ever since they bought it it's been going down hill. The managers have no manners, always giving attitude. Made a couple of orders always getting late. Just made an order and it's already been 1 hour and 20 and nothing of my order. Last time they forgot my cheesy bread and my pizza was cold. Not good at all. Worste experience ever after of being a regular costumer. They bought the franchise, and the owners are terrible. 3rd time they make a mistake on my order, and this last time was the bottom line, they made me wait for an hour and a half, and to find out that my order just deeseapered, yea deeseapered just like that. And plus managers the worst, nasty attitudes no respect for customers. Bad for business bad for the brand.

I just ordered from the dominos on niagara street in newark, nj. My order took an hour to get here, the phone line was constantly busy, my food got here cold, my breadbowl arrived Italian sausage marinara when I asked for chicken Alfredo, my 14 piece chicken was an 11 piece, and I asked for ranch sauce for the chicken and I got bbq.

Phil Dunn the so called senior supervisor was EXTREMELY rude! My online account always has the full address, I've never had the issue of my apt not being on the order. So a computer issue caused me to wait for over an hour and then they placed me on hold. I called back and got the lovely Phil who sucks royally at customer service. He needs to be in a new line of work if he doesn't not like his place of employment.

Very unprofessional! I wouldn't order from this location. I ordered online, paid for my pizza then waited for almost 2 hrs. When I called the store to find out what happened, I was told they don't deliver at my location. Then why can't someone update that online???? Ppl there r very unprofessional, and untrained.

We ordered two medium pizzas, the chocolate lava cake, and the cinnamon sticks with two icings. The driver got here pretty quickly but he was extremely impatient. He called us twice within 5 minutes and the second time he was getting angry for us taking "so long" to get downstairs. No big deal really, but on top of that we didn't get either of the icings, instead we got two marinara sauces lol and the cinnamon sticks tasted like chemicals. Not my best experience with dominos, the pizza was pretty good though.

I am giving four stars but it is a four stars in relation to other dominos. On the whole Domino's food is probably like 2 and a half stars compared to real food and like a 3 1/2 compared to other chain food. But this Dominos is great in regards to service, quality of food, and delivery. I mean it may be a crappy Domino's pizza but at least they are quick getting it to you, it's still hot, and is made properly albeit with subpar ingredients. I mean as far as subpar ingredients you know what you are getting when you order a cheap Domino's pizza. Best Domino's and quick chain pizza place in Newark though. The pizza is good cheap and gets to you quick. Never actually been to the place just delivery tho.

this is that last time I will ever order from this place. bad customer service and bad timing on the delivery however im not even remotely far from where this pizzeria is. its 10 min away and I understand its busy on a sat but the moment I order online which it says its on its on its way. makes u think its going to be a fast delivery. now! I been waiting for two and half hours. I called the company telling them where is my order he said it was busy and the driver just head out but he said there is only one delivery guy. now im guessing for a company that is big and its a franchise makes u think that the people you hire is worth working for. your probably guessing if this business will make this company better and bring people to liking your company. now I feel like no matter where you put your company at a certain location makes you think that they are going to sell and make it better. unfortunately for what I see and read from all these reviews doesn't really help!! weather your in a competition with other bigger or same pizzeria around the world. now having said about this I told the guy on the phone he should hire or put more people to do delivery on a busy day. that's when I got piss and hung up the phone. it doesn't make sense! however as im still waiting I hear my doorbell ring went downstairs and went to get my food. now the delivery guy comes up and gives me a dirty look. like really! nice presentation by the way. obviously u need to watch who u hire! and don't just hire them bc they need a job! hire people who willing to talk to people understand the company and willing help your business. if u give them bad attitude bad looks or how u speak to a customer yeah you know u wont last for a month. having said I been in Newark for almost 27 years I've never in my life have never experience bad service! until now and if u do what u did to me u definitely wont receive good tip. again im not surprise that this company is paying not enough. be a good employee and u wont have a problem.
