Domino's Pizza: Hires the Most Discourteous Employees and Worst Pizza Makers in Sioux Falls South Dakota
As a traveler to new cities, I tend to eat comfort foods that cooks or bakers rarely ruin/mess-up such as pizza. So, I eat a lot of pizza usually from Domino's.
I expected my first pizza from Domino's to be prepared and served as my home State's. However, after ordering a medium thin crust pizza at Domino's located at S. Shirley Avenue and 26th Street and waiting on the parking lot for forty-five minutes. Upon accepting the pizza, I didn't think I needed to check it prior to leaving the shop. Therefore, upon returning to my hotel; I discovered my Veggie Pizza was not only burned but also dry.
I called the shop to complain about my purchase. Although, the employee that answered the phone was apologetic and offered to immediately deliver another pizza or issue a phone number credit to receive a pizza in the future. I elected to take the credit rather than a replacement pizza at that time.
Later, when I called to order a replacement pizza using the issued phone number credit. The employee, who answered the phone immediately hung up when I requested to use my credit to order a thick crust Veggie Pizza. I felt the hang-up was intentional, but I do believe in allowing food servers an opportunity to redeem his/her self. Therefore, I called the shop again and was hung-up on for a second time.
At that point, I got into my vehicle and drove to Domino's Pizza located on S. Shirley Avenue to confront the person that answered the phone and hung-up on me twice; the person turned out to be the same male employee that burnt my first pizza. Upon entering the shop, I informed this server that I was the customer - that he hung-up on twice. So, not only was I his establishment to redeem an issued credit, but to look him in his face which brought a manager from a back office, who again was apologetic.
After, all of this. You would think this male employee would prepare a perfect pizza. Nope, he intentionally burnt the second one. Maybe, this guy is a better pizza making if he doesn't know a customers' ethnicity. Based on my experience with this shop, I am no longer a patron of any Domino's Pizza establishments. I also discourage my associates from patronizing this S. Shirley Avenue location.
