Was looking for Mexican food after a concert and stumbled across this place. It didn’t look like much, but generally that is where you find good food and this place was no exception. I ordered the veggie tacos, my friend had the shrimp burrito and we shared chips and guac. The veggie tacos were hardy as they had rice and beans in them in addition to sautéed veggies and avocado. The shrimp taco had popcorn shrimp, but a lot of them. The guac had cotija cheese on top. My friend scooped that off and ate that part of the guac. The guac was simple, but tasty. If you are looking for authentic, tasty Mexican food especially on the late night give this spot a shot.

Came here for a midnight meal after a soccer match. The cemita with breaded chicken was delicious!! Definitely it’s a place that offer authentic Mexican food. Definitely will come back when I’m visiting Philly again.

No. Tasteless all around. Steak cooked to leather. Rice tastes severely microwaved. Avocado brown.

Our first time here since the restaurants recent opening and we loved it. The folks at the counter were very nice and the three taco versions we ordered (shrimp, carnitas and chorizo) were delicious and plentiful. While waiting, one of the colleagues served us horchatas and we snacked on the fresh made chicharron. We are so glad that a quality place open right around the corner from our house.

I ate the al pastor tacos 3 days ago. I knew within 30 minutes I would get very sick. I have not been able to eat anything besides liquid for over 3 days. Eat at your own risk!

I ordered a quesadilla from here using the online menú that said $10. The man in the restaurant said it was $12. I gave the woman $15 and she gave me 1$ back. The woman at the cash register then told me it was $14. I asked for a current menú and she said it doesn't exist. I told her that their own website said $10 and her employee told me $12. She shook her head. As I walked out another person walked in and upon hearing the end of the conversation he told me to "get out!" The entire transaction happened in Spanish. They do not speak English.

Yelp
It was great that they were open so late. The tacos were great. Tons of meat. Fabulous side sauces. Authentic Mexican.

Yelp
2nd time here. This place is close to my house and open till 2 am! Even Christmas Eve they did open. 1 st time I order was nacho and birria both ok. Not bad but not so good also less volume than some place after that i avoided order. But 2nd time was Christmas Eve don't have many choice after watching at miracle on 13th street. Around 11 they still open. This time cooker was different person! At home open the box it was different. Looks so attentive also more food. More tasty. I mean meat taste little different . I am so glad I choose here and they are open. I really recommend order nachos! It was tasty and fulfill my very hungry stomach. 1thig is both time I want to have lengua but they don't have it. May be late to order? If you don't have them regularly why still in a menu? Or always I will forget my hav meat??

Yelp
I got some tacos today from this place and it really disappointed. They told me they were good but be honest with you guys. They don't even put cilantro or onions on it. The jalapeño pepper is raw. It's just crazy. I was so excited about trying these tacos. I always get it from a different places and it's just disappointed huge disappointment

Yelp
This is my go to taco spot if you're looking for some authentic mexican food. The staff is friendly however the place is cash only and mostly spanish speaking so keep that in mind. I've honestly tried almost everything from their menu and it always hits the spot. You get a very generous portion size for a reasonable price. They are also open late which is very convenient.

Yelp
I got here around noon and saw three ladies busy cooking. I could tell that it's for a big order by the smell and the smoke from the food that filled this small taqueria. The exhaust system must not be working and I was surprised that the fire alarm wasn't triggered. One order of the tacos consists of 3 soft tortilla tacos filled with the fillings of your choice and the toppings. Plus a big whole jalapeño, cactus, radish, and lime slices. You definitely will not regret paying $9.

Yelp
Great Mexican food!!! Very authentic. So far I've had the tacos, tostadas and a chicken burrito; all very tasty. They have shredded pork, shredded chicken, beef or fish. I also highly recommend the horchata drink with any meal. EL HOMBRE highly recommends this restaurant for anyone craving true Mexican food.

Yelp
Little corner spot mostly for takeout...it's changed owners a few times since we've lived here and it's usually hit or miss. We decided to try it tonight and it was surprisingly great. The carne enchilada burrito and the al pastor torta were both delicious. Cash only.
