Don Chuy's Tacos is such a solid lunch spot. I’ve only been here during lunchtime, but the service is always quick and easy. Even if there are a few people ahead of you, the wait is usually around 10 minutes, super manageable if you’re on a break or just want something quick and tasty. The prices are super reasonable, and most importantly, the flavor is there. Highly recommend the burritos, they’re packed and super satisfying. Definitely try them with their guacamole salsa and a little red salsa if you’re in the mood for a spicy kick. Not their spiciest, but I’m a mild kind of gal, so it’s the perfect balance for me. The staff is always kind and down for a little chat, which makes the experience even better. Just one of those spots that feels local, flavorful, and consistent. Definitely a go-to if you’re in the area and craving something good.

Birria & Asada are next level. Super generous portions and friendly service. 100% recommended you won't be disappointed. This is definitely authentic Mexican food Michoacan style.

Best taco truck in the area! I was told by the owner one day that they make all their food from scratch, not a can, and I believe that to be true. Always fresh and alwys flavorful. Family owned and operated and they couldn't be any friendlier!

Great taco truck! I am trying every street taco in salem and this up there as one of the best! First, service was great. They were super nice and helpful when I ordered. The food was great too. Plenty of proteins and a nice flavor blend. Rice was fluffy and beans were good.

This is mexican style soul food to fuel mind and body. No matter what Don Chuy has smoking on his grill, you're surely in for a good experience. I was lucky enough to get a mean order of pork ribs, brined and slow cooked to perfection. Despite being located at the intersection of two busy streets, we were not disturbed by any car traffic and during the lunch rush everyone had room to sit and enjoy their food.

Taco Tuesday special is insane value. Good sized seating area. Still open even with construction on 25th and McGilchrist

These are the BEST tacos and sopes in Salem. We are here regularly. It's been hard to find a Mexican place we like since moving here from California but this is it!! I love the quesabirria tacos and the sopes. My husband love the sopes and all the tacos. My picky kids even like the tacos. Oh yeah, and the rice!!!! The rice is amazing. It's hard to find rice like my grandma makes but here it is. They also make some amazing salsa. The staff is always so kind too!

This was my first time trying this taco truck and the service was extremely friendly. I was unsure on what I wanted to order, and the owner helped me decide. He even offered me a sample of the birria!

So happy I stumbled upon this taco truck! It is located outside the Shell gas station across from Roth's on Commercial St SE. I have been craving birria this week and saw this place had a Birria Quesadilla the size of a pizza! I had to order it. It only comes with one small consome, so I ordered an extra consome as well. We also ordered a few tacos. For $16, I was flabbergasted by how huge this Pizza Birria was. It could easily feed 4 people. They gave lots of various salsas: green, spicy, and guac. The flavor was delicious and the consome was very light. For $2.75, the tacos were not bad. They seemed to be made with homemade tortillas that are pretty thick. Overall, this taco truck is a hidden gem in Salem. They have fast & friendly service, a good variety on the menu, and quality food.

Sooo delicious!!!! Loved the broth they gave us to dunk (EVERYTHING) in!! Yummmm ordered 3 tacos one brilla pizza it was all delicious plus next days lunch! Such a happy crew too!

If you are into sopes then you need to try them here, as they are made from scratch as ordered. 4star authentication for all the meat choices as well and the assembly of their main food items. Including all the sauces.

Kudos to everyone working at the Lonchera(FoodTruck), amazing Pizza Birria for being the first time. Got some grill onions to go with the Chile; ease's of the hotness. Ready for the hearth shaped pizza Birria.

Saw this place was being recommended a lot! So I had to go try it, specifically went for the Pizza Birria, and it was amazing!!! The wait for this is 5-10, so very fast service! Might want to call ahead due to popular demand and them running out of the Birria.

Today was my first time trying this taco truck out of curiosity and a neighbor recommendation. I ordered their birria , Al pastor and carne asada tacos. Their birria is good has good flavor and a good balance of seasoning. The Al pastor is ok it's a little dry and flavor could be better. The asada was good as well. the portion in the tacos is balanced, wait time was not bad and pricing in my opinion is a little too high for what you get. The limes looked old so there's room for improvement and to top things off I got hair in 3 out of 5 orders!! who can resist dollar tacos on Tuesday's? it would worth it only on that day and watch out for the HAIR!

Sitting in my car debating if I go back for more tacos. The best tacos I have had in so long and very reasonably priced. Fresh lime and radish topped them off. Highly recommend!

Don Chuy has been my go-to taco spot ever since I saw it! Their birria is amazing, just as good as the tacos I've had in Mexico, get their quesataco combo, it's got 3 cheese and birria tacos, the consome (broth) for dipping, as well as two types of salsas and radishes and cucumbers for a little refreshing crunch! We've tried the birria, the carne asada mulita, and the quesadilla and all have been great! Can't wait to try more off the menu

Low key I understand these tacos are $1 on Tuesday but I ordered carnitas tacos and was straight up was served lard tacos. Note to self: never order a burrito cause you can't see the contents.

best food truck in salem and the $1 taco tuesday deal has the whole town coming here so the wait might be long but it is definitely worth it
