Don Fadrique hotel 3 estrellas

Beautifully located opposite Alba de Tormes. The main house is country style. The annexes resemble modern Bauhaus, the pavilion a UFO. A large pool on the hillside reveals a great view of Alba. The restaurant was apparently not prepared for guests at 9pm. So we took a seat on the terrace. We drank fantastic Ribeira de Duero and had a toast with Jamon and Foie. It tasted fantastic. Our waitress was Raquel (she was very friendly). Upscale price level. It could do with a bit of renovation here and there. We will gladly come again

To put it simple, a meca of local cuisine with the innovative technique of Nico and his team. Nico makes his own burrata, embutidos and has a version of Beijing Duck but with... Iberian suckling pig!!! Heavenly!! To top it all, an eclectic wine list with some very good surprises

If you come to Spain you must visit "La Dehesa Salmantina" where is located an amazing places based on local ingredients bursted to marvellous. Please come, stay one night at the hotel talk to the owner Nico and let him recommend his treasuries. Limón Serrano, Espárragos de la tierra o los guisantes con huevo.

Popped i. On the off chance on way to Santander They were closed but opened just for us Lovely setting Bit pricey for a quick bite to eat but would make a great special occasion venue

The hotel is placed on the right spot. I was there on a weding, the food was delicious, I have no remarks. The only minus is the price. It could be because of the summer.

Very good restaurant and open till after midnight. Comfy beds. I approve
