Don Fuegos Chicken

I got 2 double smash burgers, I thought it would have 2 meat patties, nope I spoke to the manager he was very accommodating on making my order right. The burgers and Fries and the Chicken sandwich always had a great! taste I would definitely recommend the double smash !! Burger And the bun is off the chain ...Best Smash in Fontana ! Their burgers and chicken sandwiches are very unique and delicious

Bro the food is good and the portions are huge 😂, I bought the monster fries and mac fries both were the “small” size. Very worth the price. I couldn’t finish the food haha. Great service here

Been eating this goodness since they started in their food truck on San Bernardino Ave down from Cherry. I would even drive up to Hesperia when they left us Fontanians! (And I hate driving.) So glad they made it back to Fontana and have a building now. I used to eat the Fuego but it messed my insides up so I had to level down to Hot. Best chicken and fries I’ve ever had! Fuego Sauce is 🤤! 10 out of 10 For sure!!!

I used to get this when I lived in the high desert and then when I moved to Fontana I seen they’re over here I was sooo excited , I go oftennn it’s delicious, definitely better than places like Dave’s hot chicken !

We visited this place for lunch on April 8th, 2025. First off, when I ordered, and paid with my credit card they prompted to ask for a tip. (The tip is designed for business who bring food or beverages to your table. This business does not do that.). While finding a table, me and my wife noticed that several tables were dirty, which is unacceptable since it was not busy. While we were waiting for our food, we noticed that the cook, was wearing dirty black pants and a dirty black shirt. The while front is his clothes appeared as if he had been lit up with a paint ball gun. Completely filthy. One would figure that if handling food is a messy job, he would wear an apron. We also noticed that the cook had his phone to his ear while he was preparing food, which made this place completely unsanitary. Handling a phone while preparing food is a health code violation, and is disgusting. When our order number was finally called, I had to get up and get our food trays from the counter. (Again, if I am tipping, isn't it expected that the good and/or drink would be brought out to our table?). While we were eating we noticed that it was abnormally hot inside the restaurant. We noticed that the employees had the front door propped open with a bucket. The opened door resulted in several flys coming into the restaurant. I am not sure how many flew in while we were there, but we counted 3 flying around and landing on several dirty tables. We also noticed that they had a container full of cooked macaroni noodles exposed, which I wouldn't doubt flys had already been in that container. The food wasn't all that good either. The chicken seasoning tasted burnt hot dog. It's safe to say that we will not be returning. I would suggest the health department to inspect this place, I'm sure they will find several violations. If you want a spicy chicken sandwich, drive a little further and go to Dave's hot chicken.

The chicken was so good one of the best chickens fried chicken hot chickens I have ever had in my life 10 out of 10 the burgers pretty damn good you guys check this place out ASAP

if you want any kind of spice just get the hottest flavor otherwise its not hot at all. but still very very good. had the slider and fries (at the time of writing it was roughly $11) the slider was a full on sandwich and they give you plenty of fries. most hot chicken places cost $15 and up minimum for the same meal. will go back to try their hottest flavor

I came in Don fuegos the other night to order some Mac fries I saw on TikTok and the food was amazing the only thing was the service the lady that took my order was extremely rude and seemed like she didn’t want to work I don’t know her name but she was had red lipstick and has an obnoxious voice that hurts your ears. I changed my mind on something I wanted and I told her never mind I want something else and it seemed like it bothered her that she had to write something else down. She also acted passive aggressive with her words and gave me a weird stare. I enjoyed the food but not the service It was unwelcoming and negative if the lady doesn’t like her job she should quit I feel bad for whoever has to work there with her other than that the Mac fries are 🔥🔥🔥

BETTER THAN DAVE'S HOT CHICKEN I needed gas after my 6 to 9 class at Fontana Chaffey. I looked over and saw this new place. Has a 4.8 rating so decided on this instead of Birria Tacos. I was talking to the guy behind the counter and he said they started as a food truck and still set up in Hemet. They opened this restaurant 3 weeks ago. I've tried Dave's Hot Chicken and other Nashville chicken spots. I think I like this place the best. If you like that kind of hot chicken, check them out here in Fontana by Kaiser hospital off Sierra.

Good food, fast service. Went to the location in Victorville before they closed down.

Don Fuegos has some of the best hot chicken I've had--the flavor is on point, and it's definitely my favorite when it comes to taste. However, the wait times are always slow, which can be frustrating, and for the price, the portions could be a bit bigger. Compared to a place called Chubbies Hot Chicken, which (is also in Fontana there not too far away from each other) has bigger portions for the same price, a more interactive and friendly atmosphere, and is much faster with their service, I'd choose Chubbies all day. But if I'm really craving Don Fuegos, I'll still go for it--because why not?

Tried for the first time and was extremely disappointed! We paid almost $40 for Kraft Mac and cheese! The actual food looks nothing like the picture. Also not everyone likes spice and there is no option to have no spice! Will not be returning will definitely be taking the extra couple min drive to chubby's on foothill!

Get to Don Fuegos as soon as you can. Over the years they've have several different locations which have closed. Sadly, it's hard to know what is current when doing a basic google search. As of January 2025 they have a new location here on Sierra in Fontana. My husband and I were so sad when their Hesperia location closed so we were so excited when we heard this location was opening up. You know it's good because we drove down the Cajon Pass just to get dinner here. It was just as good as I remember from their Hesperia days. It does take longer than other fast food places to get your food, but it is so worth it. It's actually spicy. So juicy.
