Don Fuegos Chicken

Having seen some positive reviews on social media, I decided to dine at this restaurant. While I had initially planned to order the smash burger, the cashier kindly suggested the chicken club. We also enjoyed the macaroni and chicken fries. The food was absolutely delicious, and the beverage selection was impressive, which I greatly appreciated. Although the server or cook seemed a bit preoccupied, it didn't detract from the overall experience. The atmosphere was enjoyable and visually appealing. I certainly plan to return when I am in the area again.

The Mac bowl has fries and chicken. Absolutely loved it. Would definitely recommend to anyone who loves fried chicken. Even if you don't like spicy you can get mild and it's delicious.

Better than Dave’s hot chicken and all the other competitors out there when it comes to the sandwich and that’s the truth. Chubby’s hot chicken sandwiches has some really good mac & cheese but overall, Dan Fuego has to take it for spicy chicken sandwiches. I went back to try the smash burger and it was pretty good. I’d give it a seven out of 10.

I got 2 double smash burgers, I thought it would have 2 meat patties, nope I spoke to the manager he was very accommodating on making my order right. The burgers and Fries and the Chicken sandwich always had a great! taste I would definitely recommend the double smash !! Burger And the bun is off the chain ...Best Smash in Fontana ! Their burgers and chicken sandwiches are very unique and delicious

Went to try it for ourselves after seeing social media reviews....definitely get the loaded mac and cheese.usually a line but the girl at the register does a great job of keeping it moving

Food here is really good. The wait time is kinda long I waited for about 15-20mins for my order to be ready. I noticed there was one cook and one other worker, so I do understand the wait time. They were friendly. And it’s really clean inside so that’s a plus.

my bf and i love coming here. we personally thinks it’s better than dave’s. staff is always friendly and the inside is very very clean and well kept. i’d def recommend this spot !

Bro the food is good and the portions are huge 😂, I bought the monster fries and mac fries both were the “small” size. Very worth the price. I couldn’t finish the food haha. Great service here

BETTER THAN DAVE'S HOT CHICKEN I needed gas after my 6 to 9 class at Fontana Chaffey. I looked over and saw this new place. Has a 4.8 rating so decided on this instead of Birria Tacos. I was talking to the guy behind the counter and he said they started as a food truck and still set up in Hemet. They opened this restaurant 3 weeks ago. I've tried Dave's Hot Chicken and other Nashville chicken spots. I think I like this place the best. If you like that kind of hot chicken, check them out here in Fontana by Kaiser hospital off Sierra.

Don Fuegos has some of the best hot chicken I've had--the flavor is on point, and it's definitely my favorite when it comes to taste. However, the wait times are always slow, which can be frustrating, and for the price, the portions could be a bit bigger. Compared to a place called Chubbies Hot Chicken, which (is also in Fontana there not too far away from each other) has bigger portions for the same price, a more interactive and friendly atmosphere, and is much faster with their service, I'd choose Chubbies all day. But if I'm really craving Don Fuegos, I'll still go for it--because why not?

Tried for the first time and was extremely disappointed! We paid almost $40 for Kraft Mac and cheese! The actual food looks nothing like the picture. Also not everyone likes spice and there is no option to have no spice! Will not be returning will definitely be taking the extra couple min drive to chubby's on foothill!

Get to Don Fuegos as soon as you can. Over the years they've have several different locations which have closed. Sadly, it's hard to know what is current when doing a basic google search. As of January 2025 they have a new location here on Sierra in Fontana. My husband and I were so sad when their Hesperia location closed so we were so excited when we heard this location was opening up. You know it's good because we drove down the Cajon Pass just to get dinner here. It was just as good as I remember from their Hesperia days. It does take longer than other fast food places to get your food, but it is so worth it. It's actually spicy. So juicy.
