Don Guerra's Barrio Bagel & Slice

Don Guerra has done it again, extending his passion for bread into a new outlet that expands on his immense talent. My wife and I stopped at Bagel & Slice today and while I wanted to order one of everything, I grabbed a couple bagels and sandwiches. First off, the bagels are wonderful; Don does bread better than anyone out there. The strawberry cream cheese is elevated beyond the normal cream cheese you’d find elsewhere and perfectly paired with the sesame bagel. I had the Chiltepin cream cheese on plain and WOW!! I loved the heat and flavor, a perfect blend that will have me coming back for more. The Green tea and cold brew rounded out breakfast nicely. I grabbed a grilled cheese for lunch and I’m not ashamed to say it didn’t make it home…I chowed down on it before we got back. The sourdough focaccia panini is EXCELLENT and makes for a great adult grilled cheese! The Italian panini was spot on! We will be back to try the pizza slices next and I can hardly wait. Order ahead on the app to avoid the inevitable lines, this place is just going to get more and more popular. The highlight today was getting to see Don in person and talk about sourdough making and getting some starter from the bread king himself. You won’t meet a nicer guy than Don so make sure to say hi when you see him!

Had a delicious breakfast with the family from Barrio bagel and slice. Want to try the lunch next. Food was good, great bagels, prefer to shop the local than the commercial and weren’t disappointed.

Have had Don Guerra’s wonderful bread in Tucson so could not wait to try this location. Bagels did not disappoint. Right amount of dough, flavor, cream cheese. We had everything and sesame bagels with plain, and an avocado on sesame. Also bought three wonderful loaves, which freeze beautifully in case anyone wonders. Great location. Shade for your car. Clean picnic tables. Great friendly staff. What more do you want. Support local businesses always. Thank you! And we’ll be back.

Super excited to have a cool, local place come into this spot! The breakfast sandwiches were super delicious and the chocolate cherry roll was amazing! Everything came out very quickly even though it was decently busy and the staff were all super friendly. The chocolate cherry roll was so fresh, it was still steaming a little bit. I can't wait to come back another time for sandwiches and pizza!

Pros: the egg bagel sandwich is delicious. The aioli they use definitely brings the bagel up a notch and the bagel itself is high quality. The staff was helpful and nice. Cons: it took 40 minutes from the time I ordered to receive my food. I understand this is a new restaurant, but our order was small and simple so I’m not sure why it took that long. Also the menu says the egg bagel includes a “fried” egg and what I got was not fried. Nothing wrong with a scrambled egg but feel like it’s misleading.

We stopped by Barrio Bagels and Slice and were seriously impressed! Everything we tried (Sonoran chocolate chip cookie, oatmeal apricot cookie, plain bagels, the heritage loaf, and the apricot cranberry loaf) was packed with flavor and showcased the kind of quality you can only get from truly great bread and local ingredients. We also grabbed a breakfast sandwich and the chicken BLT, and both were fantastic. The bread was hands down some of the best we’ve ever had — crusty on the outside, soft and flavorful inside. On top of that, service was fast and friendly, making the whole experience even better. If you’re looking for fresh, locally made baked goods and sandwiches that don’t disappoint, Barrio Bagels and Slice is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back!

We went today (Saturday) around 11:30am to try out this new spot! Before we ordered, the cashier told us there would be a wait for any prepared items. We ordered combos with cold brews (highly recommend this good deal). We got the italian sandwich on the foccacia (large and took half home), the rotational bagel rosemary sea salt with veggie cream cheese, the potato pizza slice, a plain bagel with plain cream cheese, and a chocolate cherry roll (eaten with butter at home). All were delicious, including the cold brew coffee which was strong and smooth! We will definitely be back!

Ya HAVE to stop in ‼️ They've got a Delicious 🤤 selection of Bagels & Sandwiches 🥪!! I had the L2- Italian, Incredible! And sizeable, enough for 2 days ! (They also can provide Sourdough Starter! Get yours!!)

This place is amazing! Since they opened, I've literally gone every weekend. I'm addicted to the rosemary sea salt bagel. I love that it is locally owned, and all the staff is so friendly. Go give it a try!

The Cuban torta on a torta roll is a must. Give it a try, you won't regret it! Ordering is simple - just walk in (might feel strange since Sonic used to occupy the building, but trust me, you can go inside), and place your order at the counter, or you can go through the drive thru. Once your order is ready, they bring it out to your table and during my visit, the service was good/staff was nice. Also tried the breakfast bagel sandwich and that was pretty original. Although it was good, it'll be a pass next time. Lots of options to choose from tho, so during your next carb craving, give Don Guerra a try! Looking forward to coming back and trying out their pizza! It looks tasty. Oh, and so do their signature cold brews!

Quick easy drive thru. I ordered a breakfast bagel with a rosemary sea salt bagel and lox cream cheese. I looooved the smell of the rosemary when I opened my bagel and they added the right amount of sea salt, not too chunky either. It was a good amount of egg and cream cheese in it. I do think they could add more bacon, it was thin and only 1 slice. I also love the lox cream cheese, good amount of smoked salmon it. The bagel itself is very soft and you can easily tell they make it themselves but I just wish it was a bit crispier, I like a little crunch to my bagels.

Came here for first time. I ordered a slice of margarita pizza. It was a deep dish style which wasn't what I was expecting but since I didn't specifically clarify crust style that's all on me. No worries it was big and fluffy breading. However I'm not sure I got the right one as my piece had pesto on it?? It was good but I didn't live it. Not sure I'd order pizza there again but I just like thin crust. To each their own!! I did have an everything bagel with cream cheese and it rocked it. Bread was super fluffy and soft. I would for sure order bagels there again !!! I also got a green tea and it was fresh and perfect. Overall a good visit. Now I know what I'll order for next time.

New bread and cool spot alert for Gilbert/Mesa area! I've always known this spot was near my office, but didn't realize they took over the old sonic here. Oh a whim, I wanted to get something new for lunch, so I downloaded their app and placed my lunch order for pick up. They have so many delicious options from breakfast, to lunch combos, to pizza, to just loaves of bread. My order: Chicken BLT on a rosemary salt bagel with an oatmeal apricot cookie, and a side salad. I also ordered the Berry White cold brew for additional $2 in their combo section. I went over to pick-up for lunch and decided to stay since they have outdoor seating with misters (very much needed in our 100 degree summers!) They also have curb-side pick up AND a drive-thru. My lunch was delicious - the chicken blt was soo good, especially on the bagel. It was so soft and not overly chewy. As a coffee-girlie, I can confidently say their coffee is DANG good. I am so happy this is nearby, and I worry greatly for my wallet lol

We stopped by on a Saturday for lunch and it wasn't too busy when ordering inside. Both registers were open so we were helped right away. My sister ordered the breakfast bagel sandwich (B2), I ordered the Chicken BLT with a side salad, and my friend had the pepperoni slice combo. We sat outside and watched as the drive thru was non stop busy. Waited about 20 minutes and our orders started coming out one by one. My chicken blt sandwich was really good. It was flavorful and hot. My sister didn't care for her breakfast sandwich as she said it had no flavor and it was very messy. My friends pepperoni slice came out lukewarm and tasted old. It was not good. We received a free drink coupon for waiting which we thought was nice. I will maybe come back to use that free drink coupon and to try out a basic bagel with cheese.

Stopped in today for lunch and had the club sandwich on focaccia and my boyfriend had the Italian sandwich on focaccia. Both sandwiches were delicious and we each had the wheatberry salad and really liked that too -- definitely a unique salad, I haven't had anything like it before. I think I may have liked the Italian more than my club sandwich, but I'm a sucker for anything with pesto on it. I recently got into making sourdough bread so I was really excited to try this place out and taste their bread and I definitely wasn't disappointed. I also ended up buying some flour to bake with at home. On our way out, we ran into Don, who I recognized from Instagram. He took the time to chat with us for a bit even though I'm sure he was super busy. He was super nice and encouraged me to keep going with baking sourdough. So cool to meet someone so great at their craft! We had such a great experience. You can't beat great food and kind people. Keep up the awesome work!

The service here was amazing! Its nice and clean and you feel very welcomed the minute the see you. The food was great. My husband ordered a breakfast sandwich and I ordered a bagel with cream cheese. It was early morning and I asked if they could make me a pepperoni slice. I told them if they couldn't it was okay since I knew it was more of a lunch item. They went above and beyond and said they could do it at 7:15am. Everything tasted delicious and I will make sure to stop by anytime I'm in town visiting.

Really excellent staff! Helpful, friendly, highly assistive, giving and forgiving. Really great to have this quality and caliber of breads and grains available here! Will be a new regular no doubt.

They had me at "award winning bread". Was very excited when I learned that this place was right near my work's home base. Had to drop stuff off there today so I took it as an opportunity try Barrio! I went through the drive thru. There was no line, just a few people ordering inside. They took my order right away and just took about 5 min or so for it to be ready. I LOVE foccacia and Sicilian style pizza so I got 2 slices, potato and onion, and verde with pesto, feta, tomatoes, and olives (I removed the olives, don't like them!). My total was $15, which seemed like a lot, but the slices are large. Crust was fluffy inside, crisp outside. Toppings were fresh and flavorful. The potato one maybe had a bit too much rosemary, but otherwise super good. Totally want to come again and get coffee and a bagel!

The vegan options are great! Love their cold brew too. The selection of freshly made bread is amazing and I appreciate the free samples at the counter. I had the vegan focaccia pizza with spinach, pesto, olive oil, capers and lemon. It was fantastic! Next time I'm going to try the vegan Popeye bagel sandwich. Fast, friendly service!

The food is always so yummy!! Such great quality and taste! And the employees are absolutely amazing every single time! So kind and welcoming!! Love this place SO SO much!

To Don Guerra, James Beard award winning baker, I bestow upon you St. Honorius, Patron St. Of baking.... legend tells that when word of his appointment as bishop reached his family home, his old nursemaid, who was baking bread at the time, announced that Honorius was not more going to be a bishop than the baker's peel she was leaning on would become a tree. The wooden peel promptly grew roots and branches becoming a blackberry tree that pilgrims still could see 900 years later.... Don, it was great meeting you and your team today! This is your baby and it shows! We stayed at the In-town Suits ( best price on a place to stay $469 weekly, upgraded room daily $69) we noticed that Barrio Bagel & Slice was being worked on, alas we moved before they finished... today I had the time to take a look and disappoint Was never in the cards! Clean, friendly, spacious, lots of parking, homemade food with love! I asked for the everything bagel, but just after devouring the bagel, I thought, humm, I ordered the everything bagel with cream cheese and got the plain bagel with cream cheese. Non the less I am in no way disturbed by that! I don't know if you have had a real homemade bagel before, but when done right you get this amazing crispy, light and clean taste. Just throw dirt on me I'm done! With whipped cream cheese! About 1.5 oz of added deliciousness, I'm a fan of alot of cream cheese! On to Chilepin Chedder Fougasse (I will call it the pretzel cheesy bread) look at the pictures then you tell me..lol. I chose that one specifically because of its shape, that may add to consistent baking of the bread, not sure. They have the regular unholy ones too. Not spicy BUT flavorful, little bite in the end. I'm turning part of this into a sandwich with turkey and all the other goodies! Knowledge is power! Chilepin Chedder Fougasse bread: A decorative flat bread leavened with a combination of wild yeast (levain) and baker's yeast. Sharp cheddar and spicy chiltepin peppers create a bold flavor. Chiltepin peppers: The bright red Tepin Chile (Chile Tepin) is only wild chile native to the United States. One of the smallest chiles, about ¼-inch in diameter, it has a smoky taste with intense, but short-lasting, heat. The Tepin chile has a rich history in the cultures of the indigenous peoples in the area encompassing the Southwest US and the northwestern Mexican state of Sonora. Today, the dried chiles are most often crushed and used to add heat to salsas, soups, stews, chili, beans, dried rubs and Tex-Mex dishes, or used simply as a zesty seasoning at the table. Fougasse, the French cousin of Italian focaccia, offers a delightful combination of flavors and textures. It's known for its chewy, crusty exterior and light, airy interior, often with a slightly salty, savory taste reminiscent of herbs, olives, and sometimes even a hint of cheese.

Amazing breads, bagels, and focaccia pizza. Will keep coming back until I can try everything on the menu. So good! I am a sourdough snob and this is the best I have had in AZ. ...and the bread pudding with the liquid gold caramel sauce! Wow!

It's okay. The bagels were good and I appreciated that there was good coverage of "seasonings" around the whole bagel rather than just the top. Unfortunately what takes this place down a notch (or a few) is the service, and when you're paying $6/bagel, you hope for good service. For being drive-through/up we waited a long time for our food. And even then, our order was wrong (the receipt was correct but when we got home our breakfast sandwich was missing). Additionally, they don't serve the whole menu all day and that fact isn't on their website or menu, or clearly found anywhere. We were excited to try the pizza and sandwiches but only after trying to place our order were we informed that only breakfast was being served. I'm hoping that this is "growing pains " as they're newly open but for now there's definite progress to be made.

Went here on a Saturday morning for a fresh bagel sandwich and it did not disappoint! The service was quick and they were very helpful explaining the options for their bagel sandwiches. Waited only about 5 minutes for my sandwich to come out and it was perfect. Bagel had a great outer crust with a soft and chewy inside. I do wish the sandwich had a little more of the chipotle aoli but other than that it was great! Workers came out while I waited for my food and asked if I wanted any coffee while I waited (I declined but was very nice) and the owner came around the patio to ask everyone how their food and drinks were. Great environment, even better food! Will be back for sure

Had to take the drive from North Scottsdale to see what the hubbub was about. The pizza was my fav on this trip although the focaccia and Bagles were nice as well. Hope they expand around closer to North Scottsdale.

There are few places in the Valley that offer true options that are unique and not from the national food distributors. I admire owners who care about quality not quantity coupled with the spirit of being and serving their local community. I hosted a breakfast networking event at this location and it was overwhelming raved by first and repeat Barrio fans. Don and Oren's journey of where they started, what drove them to bring incredible quality products to Phoenix is inspiring. The outdoor patio has high quality misters to beat the heat. You can buy their amazing breads, sandwiches, pizza slices (which I highly recommend), and other items inside or via their convenient drive through. Highly recommended!

The bagels and lox and bagel were very, very good highly recommend. The bagels were soft and fluffy, and the locks and bagels had lots of walks and not too much cream cheese.

Well, they added a sweet bagel-- cinnamon raisin! Very tasty. This is a solid place for bagels and sourdough bread!

The food and drinks are absolutely delightful, and the customer service even better. We had an issue with a previous order where items were missing and Bianca, the manager, handled the situation with penultimate class and grace. We've returned for the food multiple times, but our customer service experience has turned us into loyal customers. I love that they have a drive through, curbside delivery, and a cute patio with excellent misters. This spot is a must-visit for locals and worth the drive for those farther away.

I've read some of the reviews saying how it took super long for some people to get orders, but that wasn't my experience at all. I ordered on the app and was able to select a pick up time and it was ready right when I got there. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with bacon and added the chiltepin cream cheese. I think the ingredients on the sandwich unfortunately took away some of the textures of the bagel. The bagel wasn't toasted very much so it kinda got a little soggy in the interior. I felt like if it was toasted better it wouldn't have had the same issue. The egg and bacon were nothing special. Probably microwaved I would assume. However, I really did enjoy the chiltepin cream cheese. I liked that it was a unique spice that wasn't too overpowering. The chipotle aioli was also really good too. Overall, next time I would probably just order a toasted bagel with a side of cream cheese and not the sandwich.

I had my first visit to this restaurant last week to pick up some fresh bread I had ordered using their app. It was super easy to do, the pick up went very smoothly. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The smell inside that restaurant is amazing. The bread that we purchased was a sourdough loaf and it was tremendous; we will be going back often for more.

We went to Don Guerra's bagels a few weeks from grand opening and going to give them some relief on my review since it's still fairly new. We were very excited for this place to open because it was just a few minutes from our home. We were following this place on social media and had high hopes, but had a bit of an odd experience. We ordered on site and in person vs advance or drive thru. They have an app but I don't think we got rewards for our order cuz the staff member seemed to be new to figure out the register and everything. We didn't get our drinks initially and we had to go inside to get our food and status even though they gave us a number for our order. They also forgot our drinks, and we had to request that too, even for just a hot coffee. It wasn't very clear on the ordering process- if we waited inside or if food would be delivered to our seat. Having been an old sonic the space was a bit weird and seating was kind of packed in the shaded seating area, which is all outdoors. Our bagel sandwich's were extremely salty with the everything bagel, maybe would try a plain one next time. My husband had the beef slider breakfast bagel and the meat was very dry and unseasoned. Would not recommend that option. Glad there's a bagel place closer to home so we'll give it another try with other menu items.

I stopped in for a lunch bagel and left with bread. This is a nice clean spot that would be great for breakfast or lunch. I had a rosemary and sea salt bagel with cream cheese. The bagel was good. A little rustic in texture and very good. I bought aome cheesy bread to take home and it was delicious. I also bought some small sort of mini loaves with chocolate chips. Bigger than a bagel and smaller than a loaf of bread. I sliced that at home and toasted it. I added a little butter. Delicious. They have a nice covered outdoor eating area with picnic tables. When the weather is cooler, this spot will be great for coffe and breakfast with friends.

While I got plain bagels with cream cheese because other people wanted a bagel, so I just got plain ones for the 1st time. And, to say that even for a plain bagel, it was great. Everyone who got a bagel commented that they will go there to check our other options on the menu....

The bagel sandwich was great. I don't normally drink fancy coffee but the flagstaff campfire was amazing. Service was excellent!! Will definitely be back. Need to try lunch items

Pizza was excellent-- toppings were fresh and there was a lovely char on the crust. The rustic loaf we took home was equally excellent.

Really amazing new spot! We drove from Phoenix to try it out and it did not disappoint! They have a misted patio, curbside pick up, and a drive thru! We opted for the patio as we want to see the inside of the shop. We got a bagel and cream cheese and the bagel sandwich as well as the seasonal cold brews. We also saw that they sell their bread and flour as well. They had free bread samples and it was delicious. We will definitely be back to try the pizza/paninis. Someone even came outside to check on how everything was tasting after we started eating, very nice!

Amazing bagels & bread! Order ahead & pick up warm- delish! Staff bring out to your car with a smile- wonderful concept- I hope they continue to thrive in their success- so well-earned!

I admit it. Bread is my kryptonite. And those chocolate cherry rolls? Well, I dream about them now. And when I get to this place early enough to get them when they're warm? It's like winning the lottery. The bread lottery. The Sonoran sourdough and pan rustico loaves are good, too. If you want delicious bread. Just save me a chocolate cherry roll. Or two. Please.

This place is amazing. Delicious bagels, delicious pizza! Can't wait to come back again and again. If you feel the need to publicly whine about a brand new business you should stay home for a few weeks or try and open your own food establishment :)

I got the seasame seed bun bagel with egg and bacon and cream cheese...the bagel is fresh and soft and i got a cold brew and it was perfect to me not to strong not to bitter ..and the sourdough pudding ahhhh man it was so fresh and delicious it tasted like it was made with love haha i will definitely be back and try the pizza too

We live a mile away and love a good bagel and bread place! Went in and the smells were amazing. Tasted the chiltepin bread and bought a loaf. Didn't even look at the prices!! Also bought 6 bagels for $12. That bread is so amazing and addicting with a few spicy bites here and there. The chew in the inside and crust on the outside is artesian for sure. Bagels were good. $2ea good?? Maybe. We will go back and try their pizza and sandwiches. Drooling over the Cubano!

We went in for an Italian sandwich combo with wheatberry salad plus loaf of chocolate cherry bread. Absolutely delightful meal on focaccia which we split and had a sampling of the bread. Definitely the best bread and sandwich anywhere around here. Very very highly recommended.

Just tried this place for the first time today per a recommendation from my girl friend (who came twice today which was also her first time that's how much she loved it) and I got to say it's pretty great!! The inside is small but quaint, and there's tons of outdoor seating! The thing that really makes this special though is the customer service, the staff when you come in are SO welcoming and my friends and I got to meet the owner Mr. Don himself + the manager and they were so kind and attentive to our experience. They even gave us some free sourdough loaves!! I am a huge fan of sourdough and even make it myself so I cannot wait to give it a try! The food itself was delicious, I got the bagel sandwich with ham and added cream cheese which was so messy in the best way and delicious. I also got the penasco salty coffee which was the perfect salt + sweet combo without being overbearing. Overall the place is 10/10 and I cannot wait to have a new regular bagel shop to hit up before work!

Nope just nope! Maybe the issue here is the drive thru. I ordered a loaf of olive bread sliced and a 6 pack of bagels (3 plain/3 seseme). The woman over the speaker confirms my order. Once I get to the second window I am handed a flimsy large paper bag with no handles and a loaf of unsliced bread (no plastic bag covering it) and my bagels. I politely informed her that I wanted my bread sliced to which she rudley replied "we don't slice breads here"- wouldve been helpful to know when I ordered a SLICED loaf 2 minutes ago and they didn't mention this fact. Also went home and noticed they gave me everything bagels instead of seseme which no one in my household likes. 2 stars because the olive bread is good but for $11 a loaf I'll go somewhere with better customer service and presentation and with staff who listen to customers.

You can see why the owner is a James Beard Award winner for baking. The bread is amazing, some of the best I've ever had. The wait times that others complained about I did not encounter, albeit I went on a Sunday at noon. They flavors were nothing short of creative and brilliant, you won't find these bread flavors at your average Whole Foods. If I had one gripe, the pizza toppings were rather dry, the focaccia was amazing, just after heating the slice up the toppings were dried out after sitting for so long. The flavors were still amazing, can only imagine the slice fresh! The bagel was up there in one of the best I've had, unique it its own way, not like the east coast style bagels I've had in my travels, but delicious nonetheless, and that Chiltepin cream cheese was amazing. Despite some shortfalls, I loved it, it's Drive-thru bread, what else do we need.

Verde pizza slice and an Italian sandwich. Beyond fresh and amazingly delicious. Chef even made a point of coming over and explaining where the different ingredients came from - and introduced us to the miller from Hayden Flour Mills who was sitting directly across from us and let us know we could buy wheatberries from his shop. Will definitely be back.

I'm in such trouble with Barrio Bagel and Slice only being a few miles from my house! I heard the soft opening had wild wait times with James Beard award winner Don Guerra being on site, taking photos, etc. I decided to wait until the crazy calmed down and today was the dayyyyy! I arrived around 12:45pm and went through the drive thru. There were only 2 cars ahead of me! I ordered the L2 (Italian sandwich combo w/ side and cold brew or iced tea). I asked for the Sonoran Wheatberry Salad, but was told they were out so settled on the salad w/ balsamic dressing.For my drink I had the Prickly Pear Iced Tea. I also add a slice of their Potato and Onion Pizza. It's $6 to add a slice with a combo. When he gave me my total I said "wait that's not enough". I know I'm overly honest. He took a few min and said the "add a slice button" wasn't working but he had it on there and could have the slice for free. I thought that was really nice! However when the girl brought my bag out my total had changed, which was fine I don't find paying for what I ordered but they added the slice on separate which was more than if I had added to the combo. Anyway, the pizza was FANTASTIC. I wasn't sure about it all together tbh but the flavors mixed magically. Unfortunately I didn't get the sandwich I ordered. I received the Honey Club. It was good, but I really already had my taste buds set on an Italian. I hate to be "that person" but I was pretty disappointed I didn't get the right sandwich and the pricing thing was bugging me so I called the restaurant and talked to Ally. She was super sweet, said she remembered my order and didn't know the person talking my order had said I'd get the pizza for free. I said I didn't mind paying for what I ordered but ended up paying more with them adding it separately. She understood, took my name down and said to come back anytime for a free sandwich and slice. IMO problem totally resolved and I was definitely going to be back anyway. You can't beat the freshness of the bread or locally sourced ingredients. Looking forward to making my way through their menu and excited to have you in the neighborhood!

Bread IS good. I can see people who just want bread coming here and buying loaves of bread or bagels to go... but that's it. Ordered a bagel breakfast sandwich- it was very messy... way too much cream cheese that over powered the taste of everything else... Also got a pepperoni slice of pizza... not enough sauce, not enough cheese and the pepperoni was over cooked almost crunchy. Again, the bread was good but I wanted more than bread. Wheat berry salad - mostly wheat berries... the dressing was not fav. Was okay. So sad so disappointed. Was really looking. Forward to this place due to the hype . Lastly asked for a cup of water (was thirsty and and also had our pup with us) the hostess told us that if it was for a dog she would need to give us tap water, explained that we were also going to drink it so she then said we could have filtered water. Never been asked that before... not sure how I feel about that. Over all, would I go back? Maybe... but just for bread or bagels- not for lunch. Felt like I overpaid for lunch, could have taken the bread home and made it better. Service was okay... there was a lot of staff...

Drive thru service is extremely slow. There was only 4 cars in it when I pulled up and it took 35 minutes to get my food. I ordered a breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel and that was very below average. They also messed up my order by putting it on a plain bagel. The fried egg is also not a fried egg. It's a Starbucks type egg. It doesn't appear that they are properly staffed to handle the workload and the food is below average. I recommend going to bagel bongioro if you wanting a quality bagel sandwich

So happy to have this establishment across the street from me!!! Great bagels, bread is outstanding (only had sourdough) at this point but can't wait to try some others selections and styles. The order area is a bit awkward and too small but I'm sure once the place has been there a while it'll find its rhythm as far as the entrance.

I'm always surprised when people post negative reviews about a recently opened business. Every new business has an adjustment period. (Think about when you start a new job but on a much larger scale.) We live in a society where we want what we want when we want it, and if we don't get it, we have a fit. Many people have no empathy. That's when we get a market full of cookie-cutter businesses and then complain about that. I'd take this fantastic food quality over any cookie-cutter restaurant any day. If we don't support small businesses, they have no chance of success. Get it together, people! My husband and I ate here today. We had a couple of different lattes (berry white and Penasco), which were delicious. We also had a breakfast sandwich, sourdough bread, and a cherry chocolate roll with cream cheese. Everything was delicious! We will definitely be back.

So glad to discover a delicious spot opened up to replace the Sonic. I had the pleasure of visiting Barrio Bagel on one of their inaugural days. We were assisted by Savannah. Savannah was truly a joy to interact with, her customer service was exceptional. She has an energy that was very inviting and bubbly (loved her awesome cat eye glasses too). Our food was INCREDIBLE. We ordered the Italian combo, I got chips and my bestie got the salad. We both got the black tea. I was full after just half my sandwhich (and we came straight from the gym and we're hungryyy). The black tea was GOOD. And if you're an unsweetened tea drinker you know when you can taste the quality. We saw other people enjoying the cold press and bagel sandwhich, which will def be what I try next time. Overall, incredibly friendly service, delicious food, and excellent tea. I am very happy these new neighbors have moved in and will def be visiting again soon!

I like to drive through to grab amazing, high quality bagels and bread. SO fresh and tasty. The service is always top notch. My regular order is everything bagel with veggie cream cheese, but recently couldn't resist the smell wafting thru the window so I added Pan Rustica to my order and that loaf was gone before the next business day-my family gobbled it up !

Finally, something unique and delicious. We have had sandwiches, pizzas, cookies and a variety of the artesian bread. The low carb bread is something we cannot get enough of!! We wish this bread was sold at Costco although it isn't full of preservatives- very fresh artesian bread. The appearance and taste of the food is top notch. Get ready to see this company grow !!
