Cilantro Taco Grill Review - Rosemont - Chicago - The Infatuation

"Rosemont, not exactly home to the hottest new restaurants and an electric food scene. Today we are throwing a lifeline to those of you who work anywhere near O’Hare, or maybe you're a huge fan of the Fashion Outlets of Chicago. You may also be a degenerate gambler, and the proximity of today's review to Rivers would interest you too. Either way, in the land of corporate office buildings and Holiday Inn Express there are usually two options: 1. Get stuck eating the same d*mn thing every day, or 2. Bring your lunch. But every now and then you need to let loose and break up the monotony of the day, and in this case let loose means a taco and torta party at Cilantro. We recently learned Cilantro has additional locations in Addison, Stone Park, and one off the Las Vegas strip, which makes absolutely zero sense to us. What does make sense is that whether you’re on a routine hour long lunch break or looking for an afternoon escape from the cube monkey life, Cilantro is surprisingly a legitimate option for some Mexican food. There was a period of time we were around these parts for lunch, and while the line would tell you Cilantro isn’t a secret, we are here to spread the good word. Located on West Higgins Road near the I90, I190, and I294 rush hour sh*tstorm, there’s an unsuspecting strip mall next to a 7-11 worth a lunchtime trip. We first inadvertently encountered Cilantro on a Taco Tuesday and took it as a sign from the big guy upstairs. Cilantro is a small restaurant with limited seating and you’ll most definitely wait in line during prime lunch hour. This isn't amateur hour - do yourself a favor and call ahead if you're in a hurry to get back to work. These burritos, tacos, and tortas will not treat you wrong, and the green chili, red chili, and cilantro cream sauce at your disposal add some extra zest and spice. We promise Cilantro will treat you well, leaving both you and your wallet a little heavier for the day. Of course, all bets are off if Rivers is on deck. Food Rundown Chicken Tamale Overall, a decent tamale. The masa is a little bland, but nothing a good dousing in green chili can’t solve. Chicken Torta This is a great torta. Quality bread, good meat, beans, sour cream, avocado, lettuce and tomatoes. One of our favorite items here. Steak Burrito Old faithful. It won’t be bursting at the seams, but the ingredients are fresh and it comes piping hot off the grill. Fish Taco Not always the same, but expect some sort of lean, white fish, such as tilapia. Some spices and the grill are what bring the flavor. Barbacoa Taco Mexican barbecue. Beef that's been slow cooked and simmered in its own juices. Tender and rich. Steak Taco Same meat as the burritos, same delicious taste. Cecina Taco Thinly sliced and salted steak. Definitely saltier than the regular steak, but a different kind of flavor and also good." - Sam Faye

Google
Efficiently fast. The food is great for the price. The fries were a little plain (not salty) and the water tasted like the limes were a little old. The chicken and steak burritos were both good and filled with lots of meat and little toppings. Overall a great choice for a quick filling meal.

Google
I love Cilantro's food. It is very delicious. Their burritos are very good. The burritos are not greasy, the meat is cooked well. You can also choose from a lot of options of different ingredients you want in your burritos. This applies to tacos and other dishes they have. The service is good and fast. I'm always satisfied with their food and how fast it is prepared. I usually get burritos but they have a wide range of other dishes you can buy from here. It is worth every dollar.

Google
This place is no longer Cilantro but honestly it's an upgrade. Larger portions. I paid a little over $17 for 4 steak tacos. Feels a bit pricey. They still have the good verde sauce.

Google
Literally the best food ive had this year. Me and my friend tried this place out to try something new around us for cheap and i have to say it was exquisite. This food made me FEEL. Made me CRY. It was wonderful. My only complaint would be that the menu is too far up and covered by apart of ceiling. Other than that this was a 10/10 experience. Literally thank you. 🙏

Google
almost didnt order because of all the bad reviews but i ordered an asada burrito with just meat cheese and beans, it was decent. the salsas are bland, will be trying again to get a taste of what else they have on the menu

Google
Hello, Please fix your website. There is no option to order online for the addison location. There is also no way to see the menu. Please upload a pfd file of the full menu for easy browsing. My company orders from here all the time but we dont have a menu to offer the customers that visit so we have to use the old cilantro menu for reference. Website is overall 1/10.

Google
Had them for the 1st time a few days ago. And I'll definitely be visiting again. Had the Lengua Taco dinner and it was tasty and well cooked. The salsas are amazing and they ranged from mild to hot. They were spicy but full of flavour. Took off 1 star due to them NOT having fountain drinks so you're pretty much stuck with a can of pop or bottled pop. Otherwise great restaurant.

Google
The meat that they use for the tacos were very flavorful. Service was at an expected speed with nice enough workers. The inside is nothing to write home about but the food was good! I recommend

Yelp
The burrito was delicious! The salsa was awesome! I really enjoyed my meal. Good service; very fast and convenient. Definitely would come back! I bought a bottle of their salsa it was so good!

Yelp
Ordered a torta with chicken for pickup. Walked in and just got looks and said I was here for a pickup. They gave me my food and that was fine as well as sauces I had wanted when ordering. Overall it looks appetizing the flavors though on the chicken was off a bit. It had a weird texture too. There was just also too much of it where it was a whole mush of meat and you weren't getting the other goods in it.

Yelp
Foood is super quick. The taste is average for me although my family seems to love it.

Yelp
Pros: -Good food -Good portions -Green salsa is top tier. Cons: -Crowded space to dine in -Tables / eating stations are dirtier more times than not Pro Tip: Order 15-20 mins ahead for pick up

Yelp
The food here never disappoints, the service was great and fast. Not the first time I come here this is my 4th time coming here through your the years and it's always been a great experience.

Yelp
Yestarday I went to grab 2 burritos (belly bowl) I asked for no sour cream, no lettuce, and no tomato (to go). There was barely rice, beans, meat, avocado. The meat was burnt everything tasted awful. The service sucked!!!

Yelp
Steak is consistently good and not chewy. Salsa is always fresh & I personally enjoy that sometimes the hot is super hot.

Yelp
First time to this Cilantro's. We thought they were all the same. But, to our surprise it was not. When we arrived, we were greeted by two ladies behind the register that were laughing like little girls at who knows what through out our visit. Which to me was very unprofessional. But, even the food was not as good as we expected. Will not be coming back here.
google avatar

Yelp
Food is usually good. Service needs improvement, some of the cashiers are not really friendly. Would be awesome to be able to charge over the phone. Love the chilaquiles.
google avatar

Yelp
Great food. Great service. Dropping a star because they only give 2 sauces for 3 tacos.

Yelp
Worst meal I've ever had I ordered a dinner and got just the burrito It was tiny I usually get a king and am full. I could have eaten 2 and still been hungry. Rice was dry and the pico tasted like it was old boy fresh at all. I expected more based on the reviews

Yelp
First time ever seeing or hearing about this place. While driving I spotted this place in like a neighborhood mini mall. I have a fetish for some good tacos. So, I instantly pulled into the mall and found me a park. I wasn't sure how the food or prices would be here. But I was willing to step out and give it a try. The place was kind of small inside. There isn't much seating space for you to sit. The prices are very reasonable for a nice size portion of the meals. I ordered the 3 steak taco dinner which included beans and rice. The steak meat was cooked and seasoned very well. I deducted a star for my cold beans. I'm not sure how the rest od my food was nice and hot but my beans were stiff and cold. But the tacos and rice was so delicious that I couldn't complain about the beans. The service here is amazing. Friendly staff with nice Big Smiles. So glad that I gave this place a try

Yelp
As a customer who frequented Cilantro Grill several times a week spending several hundred dollars a month .... I can't do it anymore. I gave them many chances in hope they would realize customer service should be #1 but they let me down for the last time today. When a customer regularly orders 10-15 tacos and they refuse to give an extra small salsa sauce THAT IS A HORRIBLE POLICY AND EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have been frustrated by this in the past but today was the last straw. As an individual who works with top 100 food brands.... they would never implement a policy like this. The food cost on the small thimble size hot sauce is likely 3 to 5 cent and 10 cents maximum. Cilantro grill has chosen to lose a $100-$200 a month customer because they refuse to give an "extra" 5 cent small side of hot sauce. Pathetic!

Foodie I.

Yelp
My second visit to this place. They have over a dozen locations. The cashier was pleasant. I asked for two steak tacos with extra cilantro and onions. Upon receiving the order for dine in it was barely topped with cilantro or onion. The steak was extremely finely chopped. Pre cooked then reheated on the flat top. Very dried out with burnt black pieces of fat. I don't understand how these people make any money delivering food this bad. What I did notice is that if you learn how to speak Spanish when you place an order they treat you with the upmost courtesy and very kind and pleasant. For me it was just like you take my money here's your food and not even a thank you. This has prompted me to start working on the best taco and burrito recipes a very simple menu and it will be known to all after we brand in the next few months.

Yelp
Ok, now these guys continue to be great. My wife is Hispanic, and therefore VERY picky when it comes to food from south of the border. When she...not I...but SHE starts to suggest that we pick up food from Cilantro, it's because you know it's good. The burritos are a "can't miss". I get the burrito de barbacoa, and she gets al pastor. Then we get a third de carne asada to share. Thank you, Cilantro, for coming to Addison!

Yelp
6,98 for 2 taco's unbelievable so expensive for what i go in the store with about 7 dollars gonna order 3 but for 3 tacos its 9 dollar and 42 cents

Yelp
The perfect quick stop lunch spot for delicious Mexican food. Fast food speed of service with a Restaurant quality food.

Yelp
the manager alejandra is not very polite. apparently whoever raised her never taught her good manners. yuck. I called in due to a mistake made by the staff with my order and had a terrible experience. the quality of the food here is average at best-nothing special. Now combine that with the poor customer service and you get a nasty result!

Arianna D.

Yelp
As a vegetarian, foods are easy to cross contaminate and mix up, especially when using stoves for burritos !!! I've never gotten a meaty tasting burrito or meat residue in my burritos. I'm super understanding of this and would never complains - just is awesome to see in a restaurant! My family and I appreciate it
google avatar

Don R.

Yelp
Not bad. They can get the job done of you're in the mood for Mexican food. Came here for lunch Monday. They had a nice picture of a big burrito on the wall that appeared to be "calling my name." Additionally, I love comparing burritos at Mexican restaurants since anyone can make a taco but apparently it's hard to get a good burrito so that's what I got. My wife kept it simple and got chicken tacos. Size: big enough to get you full but not big enough to make you uncomfortably STUFFED like my favorite Mexican place by my job. The flavors in the burrito are good; not the best I've had but good enough to merit a return if I'm in the taste for Mexican food and don't feel like traveling far. They have 3 sauces; when I put the green and HOT (greenish yellow) sauces on it, it made the flavors pop a whole lot better. All in all, if you're looking for good Mexican food with descent service, you're in the right spot but if you're looking for the best in Chicago, this ain't it.

Yelp
I just ordered a taco tray and may I say that my family and I were absolutely disappointed when we opened the tray. We found tacos with no lettuce and tomato and a side that was supposed to be enough for 7 tacos but only had two slices of tomatoes and just a little lettuce for 3. If that wasn't disappointing enough, the meat and tortillas were hard and cold and difficult to bite into which leads me to think this tray was old and possibly left over from another order. I got chicken instead of my al pastor. It's sad to see such low regard for customer satisfaction and Oder accuracy aside from just serving freshly cooked food.

Yelp
Went to cilantro in Addison, IL and I will never go there again. I ordered 1 burrito and 4 tostados. There was hardly any meat on any of them. This is ridiculous. I pay a decent amount of money for this food and there is barely anything on them. More tortilla then meat. Never again. They used to be really good with their food portion but it's gotten worse over time.

Yelp
The review is not for the food , the tacos are great. I go every weekend to this location because is on my way home to Schaumburg. Today I had 3 tacos missing from my order & call the store back the guy that took my call was nice about he said that the manager would be able to put the credit back for the 3 tacos in my card. The manager took the call & basically said I was lying because she " remembers" putting all the order in my bag which I didn't because had to drive to the Elgin location to get tacos for the person that didn't get tacos .It seems to happen often in this location where people are overcharged or missing food & the manager doesn't own up to it. I been a food service manager for 15+ years you never tell a customer that they're lying you get credit or the food . Horrible, person in charge on the weekends which is probably a teenager that hates her job anyway.

Yelp
These people took my order I paid then asked how long she said 10 min ten min had gone by then Maria with the glasses and long ponytail says it's going to be longer now cause we have to put the phone in orders in first I demanded my money back and they insist on giving me attitude poor customer service

Yelp
Been to the Rosemont location loved it. The tacos are pretty good, but for me the stars of the show is the green avocado sauce. It is soo good I can drink it. Also I love the ChocoFlan... So it might not be so authentic but i love flan and I love chocolate cake, #Sold.

Yelp
It's taken me quite a long time to finally visit this little restaurant, and I was so glad I did. I've just been there once so far, but from the reviews, and my first experience, I trust that I will be back more and more and will sample more foods. I ordered a taco salad, and I never eat the shell, so it's all about the inner ingredients for me. The salad came in a golden fried shell, and inside was a mixture or rice, beans, lettuce, and shredded chicken. On top was shredded cheese, and 2 thin slices of tomato and 2 thin slices of avocado. The presentation was lovely, and the taste divine. They had three sauces available and I tried all three. They were all very good. The only thing to note is that the restaurant is small and seating is generally good for up to 4.

Yelp
Open until midnight! $1.95 steak tacos, were good. I like my steak a little thicker cut and the steak was cubed very small, which lacked a little of the flavor and juiciness. Located right off of Lake St, there is an ample parking lot. There are small tables that can sit 4 and enough room to put the tables together if your coming with a group. Overall it's pretty clean. After exploring the menu, The "Burrito Belly" intrigued me. Let's say it's similar to Chipotle's burrito bowl. I ordered it with steak for an affordable $6.95. Everything on it without the tortilla wrapper. Their chips and guacamole were okay. I've had better but they give you a good portion for take out orders. Ole!

Yelp
By far the best authentic Mexican restaurant in the Addison area! From the meat down to the tortilla, the quality is notably good. Jesus

Yelp
Always pay extra to get my stuffed pepper tacos from this location (despite living close to another cilantro). The cooks on this location know what they're doing!

Yelp
I had complained about some unsatisfying (re: bland, overpriced, poor service) Mexican food I'd eaten recently, and one of my students mentioned Cilantro's; apparently her family owns it! So, I dragged a pal along to check it out. I think we were expecting more of a sit-down establishment versus a "Chipotle" type one - I guess the location in Rosemont is, though. This locale is still relatively new (about 3 months old) and still smells a little like paint. There is counter seating and a handful of tables for dining in. We placed our orders - chips and guacamole and two taco dinners (steak for him, fish for me). Each was $7.75, but there was a $1 upcharge for my fish. Our bill was $20 and change. We weren't sure when our food was ready - there was no order number, and most of the orders were called out in Spanish. When each order was ready, it was put out on a section of the counter. What that meant, though, was that other diners swarmed to the area to see if it was their food (and I'm not a big fan of other patrons breathing over my food - gahhhh!). We waited until the busy order taker/cashier girl let us know (after it had been sitting there for several minutes) that ours was ready. I LOVE that they have a separate area for veggie-only preparation so there is no cross-contamination with meat (for veggie-only folks). There are also veggie-only options that include beans. My student said that there's some special light green sauce available, but we didn't have it, so she thinks it may only be at the Rosemont location. We enjoyed the green and red hot sauces, though. The guac was good but needed salt/seasoning. He enjoyed his steak tacos, and I liked the fish, though I don't think they were seasoned at all. I'd go back in the future, but probably for takeout if it's at this location; otherwise I'd like to try the Rosemont location.

Yelp
This place is a good taco/burrito place, but when I wanted a burrito at 11:40 I went in and they were closed. The hours say 9AM-12AM Friday and Saturday. I am really disappointed and I feel as if they will lose business this way. But, El Burrito Tapatio is right down the street! Much more reliable, I recommend you guys go there, a much more honest establishment!

Mayra A.

Yelp
Not enough meat on your tacos lately. Lately it's been a disappointment. For the amount you charge per taco you should put little more meat. And my tostada was so
google avatar

Stefanie W.

Yelp
I've never been to a taco place like this so I'm kinda left comparing it to full restaurants. I had fish tacos and a steak taco. All were good but not great. Standard rice and beans included. There is limited seating and that was kinda dirty. Wall...table...sauce bottle...everything...a bit dirty.

Lisa I.

Yelp
Horrible customer service. These young kids working need some more training on how to be professional and what not to say when customers are in the store. Messed up my order, then they continued to yell at eachother for it right in front of me. Just super unprofessional and will not be going back to this location.
google avatar

Nick H.

Yelp
Steak and carnitas burritos are HUGE and AMAZING!. Lloovveee the rice and the beans. Very fresh guac! I will deff. Come back

Yelp
Lately The tacos have been a hit or miss. They fell off. My husband and I use to eat here a lot last summer and it was always on point but ever since covid and having to order to go. It's been horrible. This past Sunday my husband and I ordered and the order was wrong and the tacos were nasty so my husband called back and the woman who was answering the phone is also the same woman who took our order was being a bitch and really rude she kept saying I know what you ordered and I repeated it back, regardless of her repeating it back it was still wrong, he asked to speak to a manager and she said the manager wasn't going to be in because she got into a car accident, and said well yea sorry you had a bad experience very rude and hanged up the phone. We have been going to this place for the past 2 years. We will never order from them again. That goes to show you that they don't care about accommodating the customer! It's not like we were asking for free food we were willing to drive back and bring the food we didn't even eat a waste for $40
google avatar

Brianna P.

Yelp
This is my favorite place for casual, quick and authentic Mexican food in the area. A couple things that are awesome about Cilantros: - They grill the tortillas perfectly! This can make all the difference between an ok burrito and a great burrito - Fresh avocado included in burritos/tacos by default (some places you have to add it + pay extra) - Really good marinated steak - Horchata!
google avatar

Flor R.

Yelp
It's hard finding a good taco place - I've tried many. But Cilantro tacos are the best tacos I've tried in Addison. I usually get the steak tacos with cilantro and onions, put some lime and their awesome green salsa - always great! It's a small place, not much seating but they are quick, clean and you can see them preparing your food.
google avatar

Joanne D.

Yelp
I have been going here since the day they opened. I do like the meat that they use it's fresh and the steak is not full of fat. Pricing is reasonable for being a corporate chain. Conveniently located in the strip mall on the corner of lake street. Check your order if you have a large one a couple of times they didn't add my sides that I requested. Definitely recommend!
google avatar

Lefai K.

Yelp
This place is located in a stripmall next to an awesome icecream place (another review on that later!) I think this place is pretty new, as the restaurant literally has the new drywall and paint smell. The setup is you order your food at the front, and they call out your order and you grab your order and sit down to eat. The dining area is somewhat small. I would guess you can sit maybe 20 people in it. The prices aren't too bad. Most tacos are $1.85, with the exception of the more "exotic" meats like lengua and fish. What's cool about this place is that they totally respect vegetarians as they have a completely separate station to prepare vegetarian plates. The menu is pretty decent with your taco and burrito staples, along platillos and tortas. I ordered the dinner taco plate, which included 3 tacos, rice and beans. I ordered the steak, which was OK. The meat seasoned OK, although the rice I thought was somewhat bland. Each dine in table had a container of pickled jalapeños, cauliflower, carrots, and onions, which was good. Jennifer P ordered the fish tacos and she said they were OK, but it didn't sound like she was too impressed. Overall, decent place to get some tacos. BATHROOM REVIEW -- Place totes one coed bathroom. Inside there's a toilet, super bright, hand dryer, but no paper towels if you are a germaphobe like me and uses a paper towel to grip the door handle open. Sit or squat? Sit... but I'd be hasty and drop and deuce right away, as there can be a line of people waiting to use the one bathroom in the restaurant.
google avatar

Marc E.

Yelp
Meh. I really liked this place when it opened. Here's the problem though. Their burritos have been losing weight! The last one I got I threw away a good chunk of tortilla since there was NOTHING in it. That wasn't even the worst part. They actually tried to charge me for a 3rd little carry out salsa. Good thing I noticed she had no problem giving the woman in front of me 3 without any issue and called her out on it. I guess it pays to ask in Spanish? Oops! I mean really, do they not realize that not only is there another (better) Mexican restaurant in their own strip mall?! Seriously though, if you walk to the street you can literally see 5 other Mexican restaurants. Their only saving grace is that they have REALLY REALLY good salsa. I don't think it's good enough for this over saturated Mexican restaurant area though. So... Yup. I'm done, bye bye Cilantro Taco. You really are good to go. Please. Go.

Yelp
This is a long post, but there are many, many reasons why we LOVE THIS PLACE! We eat a lot of Mexican in my house because the food is typically very easy to customize to accommodate the dietary restrictions of my wife and mother-in-law (vegetarian and vegan, respectively). When we moved to Addison about a year ago we were super excited to see all the options for Mexican food. Cilantro was the second place we tried and it became our go-to place. We probably got this place a dozen more times before trying checking out any other restaurants, since then we've basically tried them all but Cilantro is still our favorite. I order the steak burrito at pretty much every Mexican place. Cilantro's steak is delicious, it's tender, juicy (not greasy), and has an excellent flavor; I've never bitten into any gross gristly pieces. One of my favorite things about the burrito is that once it's all wrapped up nice and tight it's grilled giving the tortilla an additional hint of flavor and a little bit of crunch. Lately, I've been on a taco kick. Though I prefer the flavor of corn tortillas, I'm really picky about it and usually end up getting flour tortillas. If it's not done right corn tortillas can be dry and hard and I can't stand that. I'm pretty sure everyone reading this knows what I mean. Not here, their corn tortillas are perfect every single time, the flavor is amazing and they stay moist (not soggy) and pliable. My favorite tacos are the pastor tacos with cilantro, onion, and cheese on corn tortillas, but the steak, barbacoa, carnitas, and chicken are delicious, too. I have not had any of the other meats, but based on the flavor of the ones I have had, I'm sure they're equally as delicious. My wife and MIL always get the veggie burrito and they love them. They actually have a station specifically for cooking vegetarian items to help minimize cross contamination. OH! Guacamole is made to order so it's always fresh! AND, get the guac sauce, it's hot but it's awesome. They also have this red salsa that has a smokey layer to it, it's SO GOOD! This salsa has actually become my favorite salsa of all time. The restaurant is always very clean and we love the contemporary design; you will not find any velvet pictures of bull fighters in this place. Every single employee we've ever interacted with has been genuinely friendly and polite, and they continue to be as I fire off ever single modification the picky eaters in my house require. I'd also like to add that they have literally NEVER gotten a single modification wrong. NOT ONE. It's awesome. We picked up Cilantro for my mother-in-law's birthday dinner tonight (her request). We actually have a few friends that always want to get this place when they come visit. Anyway, while standing outside waiting for everything I noticed an employee cleaning out a taco truck. I started talking to him and learned that they do private events! The gentleman gave me a copy of the taquiza menu and explained how it all worked. I was surprised to see how reasonably priced it all was. Included in the price you get your choice of meats, plates, silverware, napkins, salsas, pickled veggies, and chiles asados. They come out to your location, cook all of the food IN THEIR TRUCK, serve the guests, do all of the cleanup, and you get to keep the leftovers! How perfect is that? We are seriously considering just having a party for no reason just to get the taquiza.

Jennifer M.

Yelp
Would not recommend! Ordered several items for a work event for myself and coworkers. Received a completely wrong meal. We called the restaurant to let them know and they were not willing to give us the correct meal with out having to pay AGAIN. The women who we dealt with was very rude. Had to go back a second time. It was their mistake and they wouldn't own up to it. All they offered was 50% off. what sense does that make??? Poor customer service!! We tried this place for the first time and disappointed.

Yelp
Yum. The cashier could take a few classes in customer service. Tacos and burritos good. So is the guacamole. Torta bread a little dry. Maybe it was just that one time. We go here when we don't want to cook and want Mexican. It's good and nearby.

Yelp
I recently stopped here for a to-go meal on a busy night after work. Thanks fellow Yelp reviewers for the suggestion. You were all right. This place is like your standard taco place but a bit fresher and healthier. I got the cilantro platter with a taco, quesadilla, and tamale, with beans and rice. The hubs got a burrito. We shared chips and guacamole. I knew even before we ordered that we were going to like the food. The guy asked if I wanted jalapenos in the guac. Yes please! Keep it spicy. Everything was delicious. I am excited to try more. A couple cons: the dining area is small and it is far from home. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
This is a clean restaurant with efficient service that gets you in and out in a short amount of time. I ordered an al pastor taco and a fish taco. Both were very good with fresh ingredients although the pastor taco was on the dry side. The fish taco was perfect. My only problem is that the tacos are small and they could add a little more meat/ fish. I'll be ordering a burrito next time. My wife ordered the veggie burrito and loved. They have several veggie options on the menu.

Yelp
This place has only been open a short while, so I thought that I would check it out. This place is small and located in the strip mall that housed a Dominick's but is now undergoing some type of mall renovation. The parking lot is a bit treacherous as others pointed out, especially at night so be careful when you go there. Stopped in here and ordered the taco dinner (Al Pastor) and a steak burrito to take home. The service was friendly, the place was clean, and they cook your food right in front of you. On to the food quality: It was very good. Fresh ingredients, fresh tasting. I liked it. Addison has many taco places. Many. However, I find this a welcome addition to the area and I will be back to try other menu items. Well done Cilantro Grill. Cheers to all
