Excellent atmosphere, incredible views, whale season 👏 👌 white glove service and authentic fresh made everything! Yogurt, salsa, cottage cheese, pastries, topas, sopas, tamales, incredible French toast (must try) and thats just some of the breakfast. Lobster tacos, tuna sliders for lunch were perfect, and another night for dinner, deep fried crab risotto, lobster and potatoes, fresh homeade bread and butter. again white glove service, great ambiance, excellent.

Google
We stayed at the Waldorf for four days and had breakfast here every morning. We also tried their dinner menu one evening. The service is consistently excellent and the food is good. The cocktails lean on the sweeter side, but the live band that plays every night from 6:30 to 9:30 adds so much to the atmosphere. We really enjoyed the music. I would recommend this restaurant if you are staying at the Waldorf.

Google
The food is excellent is and the service is amazing phenomenal. You will be looked after here. The views of the pool/sea is very relaxing.

Google
AMAZING restaurant with outstanding foods, curated to perfection, and impeccable service. During our stay there, I went for breakfast every morning. Granola was absolutely top quality with premium nuts. For lunch, my absolute favorite was seafood ceviche, it was fantastic the very best ceviche I’ve had and I couldn’t imagine it could been any better ever, I ordered that two days in a row. I also enjoyed their Mexican take on pizza. Dinner i enjoyed sea bass(it’s similar to Chilean sea bass, but heard caught locally right there) For a mild fish like that they really executed it perfectly with balanced flavors. I tasted the pork dish chef chose for my husband, it was amazing as well. On the service side, I can’t say enough how well all the servers did, in the morning they move around parasols so that sun don’t get on my face; hostess move chair for me to sit down and place napkins on my lap; at dinner our server Alex was very attentive and descriptive on dishes. This restaurant might be the best restaurant overall, yes you heard me right, I think it’s better than any Michelin star restaurants I’ve been, less pretentious, more genuine and laid back but well executed dishes, and casual but good caring service.

Google
We had a wonderful dinner at Don Manuel's. Everything about the dinner experience was amazing. Beautiful location. The food was delicious. Everything we ordered was great. They had live music playing for dinner. They had plenty of vegetarian and gluten free options. Service was excellent too.

Nikhil G.

Google
The cocktails here are exceptional - the best we had in Cabo across several high end restaurants!

Brandy W.

Google
Service was exceptional. Ambiance was phenomenal. Live music not too loud; enough where you could enjoy it and still talk at your table without shouting. Beautiful food presentation. Small portions for price and a little bland. Would go back for drinks because those were amazing. Just not my flavor 🤷🏼‍♀️Good, not great.

Google
Even if you are not staying there, it’s worth the visit to enjoy great food, views and live music. Would definitely recommend to get earlier table to enjoy ocean views and sunset. Service was impeccable, friendly and “not in your face”. The food was positively surprising and delicious. Amber service was playful and engaging with rapid switch from sweet to sour. Lamb with mole was tender and fantastic, not fan of mole but this was amazing. Catch of the day was perfectly done and fish melted in mouth. We had side of max and cheese with truffles and that ended up on a third place of Mac and cheese I ever had. To that wine selection is excellent and highly recommend trying Mexican Bordeaux One starter and entree left no room to try desserts 🥲 Now you will wonder why 3 stars? Well, for the $200 per person, expectations are high. I would expected fresh shaved truffle on Mac and cheese. Table properly cleaned up between courses.well

Yelp
Don Manuel's is located within Waldorf Astoria. You'll need a reservation to drive in to the venue. They literally moved mountains to make this happen, digging a half mile tunnel to create a private enclave. Even though there was no view, with a little bit of rain, the service was excellent and the gastronomic experience alone deserves a visit. It would have been even better with a view but we believe we avoided the crowd that way so we don't mind. Did make a reservation 2 weeks in advance. What we ordered as a family of 5: Soft shell crab risotto: 5/5 crab umami is seeped into the rice, and generous amount of soft shell crab Bone marrow & mushrooms tetela: 2/5 first time trying bone marrow. I imagined the presentation in-bone but it was not that. It looked like any meat and was a bit dry. Seared scallops green salad with pumpkin seeds hoja Santa purée: 10/5 exquisite flavors and ingredients, the green purée was the highlight of the salad Braised lamb cheeks in mole de olla: 2/5 overcooked, gnocchi was hard for my grandparents to chew Braised short rib: 3/5 tender but just not our favorite dish, the star being... Local catch of the day: 100/5 red snapper on this day, so fresh and perfectly seasoned Seared bluefin tuna: 5/5 softest seared tuna I've ever had. At this point we were full and it didn't taste as good as the fish but I'm sure would have been if we had ordered 3 mains At the end of our meal the elevator stopped working, and since my grandma uses a walker we got to use the lift inside the kitchen and got a private tour. Thanks don manuels!

Yelp
Located right by the pool at Waldorf, the scenery is very much picturesque. The staff was all very friendly and accommodating. Food: -Guacamole was very tasty and a good portion. (4 out of 5) -Caesar Salad, not my favorite Caesar. The dressing is very anchovy forward so that can be a turn off for some people. It also doesn't come cut up, it's wrap up leaves and you have to cut yourself. (2/5) -Chicken Tacos Al Pastor, there was plenty of meat in the tortillas (you get three per order). The meat didn't have much flavor in my opinion, so I added the salsa that comes with them. The tortillas also seem to get hard kind of fast, had corn. Just middle of the road tacos. (3/5) Negatives: while the staff was extremely friendly, I did feel that the food and drinks could of come out faster. The seats are also uncomfortable as the back is wood, so we asked for some pillows. It is pricey so expected an overall better experience but the view does make up for some of it.

Yelp
DATES: Sunday, December 22nd, 2024, around 8:45pm - Cigars & Drinks Monday, December 23rd, 2024, around 9:45pm - Continental Breakfast Tuesday, December 24th, 2024, around 10:15am - Buffet Breakfast Tuesday, December 24th, 2024, around 1:30pm - Drinks CIGARS & DRINKS: *Woodford Reserve ($22) *Macallan 12 ($26) *H Upman Half Corona ($28) *Montecristo Joyitas ($35) *Service Charge: 15% ($7.20) CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST: comped for Hilton Diamond status *Season Fruit x2 *Canasta de Pan *Granola *Cereal BUFFET BREAKFAST: *Upgrade Breakfast ($20) x2 *Service Charge: 15% ($6) DRINKS: *Michters Rye ($36) *Macallan 12 ($26) *Service Charge: 15% ($9.30) The hubby and I were staying at the Waldorf and stopped by Don Manuels a few times since it was more or less always open when we wanted something. Plus, due to my Hilton status I got free continental breakfast every day for two. We only took advantage of this the last two days. The continental breakfast is fine - coffee, fruit, pastries, granola with yogurt, and cereal. All breakfasts come with fruit and pastries and you can choose between three things as your main - granola, cereal, oatmeal. The last day, we decided to upgrade to the buffet to see what they offered. Basically we had all the things included in a continental breakfast plus access to their hot food buffet - eggs, sausage, pancakes, soup, toast, etc. There was a made to order omelette station as well. Honestly, I'm glad I tried the upgrade, but Idk if it's worth $20 each. We really only had one scramble between us and a few things from the hot buffet. Not sure if that was worth $40. The other two times were more lounge-y. After going to El Farallon, the hubs and I decided to grab some cigars. They had live music that night, so we just chilled, drank, and enjoyed the ambiance. The last visit was after we checked out as we had some time to kill before heading to the airport. Enjoyed one drink until our shuttle came to pick us up. Service each time was awesome. The bartenders, servers, etc, are all so friendly and fun. Also attentive without being overly so. Our last breakfast, they were super sweet and sent us a special dessert / french toast for our birthdays. One note, I would suggest paying in pesos if you are putting this on a fee free CC. The exchange rate is much better and you'll be paying less in the long run if you are from the US. I do wish they asked before giving you the bill if you'd rather pay in pesos or USD. I forgot to tell them that last time and ended up missing out on the extra savings. A wonderful restaurant / lounge with amazing service. REVIEW #3670

Yelp
Amazing ambience, located at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in Cabo. The service was stellar my friends and I are vegetarian and we had lots of options to choose from which were all reasonably priced. We had the avocado risotto which was very flavorful, vegetarian fajitas and a mushroom dish. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Cabo!

Yelp
I can't believe how many times I've been here since Monday! The service is impeccable and I love the tacos and guacamole and did I mention the margaritas? Five star in every way! The seafood tacos are so good. I'm going back there tonight and will take more pictures of the menu etc.
google avatar

Laura E.

Yelp
My husband and I just had drinks here but for us, it was an excellent experience. The bartenders really make your time here worth it. They're engaging and will answer all the stupid questions anyone may have without making you feel stupid, lol. I kid but they really were on point when we asked about some certain tequilas which they let us try. I enjoyed the Pink Mary while my husband stuck with margaritas that were balanced and flavorful without being overpowering on mix or tequila. If you want to grab a drink before heading out, this is an excellent option. Five stars for the service alone. Great staff.

Yelp
We enjoyed our daily breakfast here during our 5 day stay at the Waldorf. We also had lunch here on our first day and dinner on our second night. Everyone was extremely friendly and made you feel at home. Food is absolutely delicious. Our hotel package included daily breakfast buffet so it made breakfast easy- highly recommend adding this. They have an egg station where you can order regular eggs, omelets, or their daily specials. There's an assortment of pastries, Mexican dishes (ie: quesadillas, tortas, empanadas, etc), fruit, yogurt. You can order waffles, pancakes, and French toast with your server as well. Their French toast was my favorite! It was great to have breakfast poolside with the sound of the ocean waves crashing onto the beach.

Yelp
We stayed at the Waldorf and their restaurants do not disappoint! Don Manual's food was great but their service was amazing. The staff is so attentive it was truly such a pleasant experience. From beginning to end we were taken care of. Definitely recommend dining here if you're staying at the Waldorf! Loved the soft shell risotto for an app and the berries and cream for desert so definitely recommend both! I personally preferred the sea bass to the yellowtail but my husband loved the yellowtail more. Will definitely try some new entrees the next time we come back, but all the plating and food pairings were thoughtful and exceptional!

Yelp
Love Don Manuel's so much! Always outstanding service, the views are so amazing. We went for drinks at the bar area & enjoyed the sunset. Even just for drinks the experience was amazing.

Yelp
The food isn't the star here. It is the service! I have never had service this good before. One of the servers literally told me I did not need to move my arms. They will take care of everything for me. I was like "what?" Wasn't sure how to act or do. Never really had this situation before, but "okay!" I'll try something new! One thing they did that was unique and fun was the server coming over with free toast and he asked if we ordered it. We said we didn't. They he kept playing and acting, but it turned out to be a surprise! Nice touch. Water and juice refilled constantly. Constant attention. Food wise, I was hungry and starving and the food looked good. Definitely enough to feed me for the whole day. The feeling of the place is relaxed and most people chose to eat outdoors. Do know that there are birds and some bugs outdoors, but the feeling of eating outdoors is nice.

Yelp
Update a year later from my first review: This past time we went here the service wasn't as good (for breakfast) which was unfortunate. Although overall this is still a 5 star restaurant! The food is still delicious though especially for dinner and they still have an impressive beverage selection at breakfast and drink selection at lunch and dinner!
google avatar

Kevin A.

Yelp
Very pleased with the food and service. Breakfast options are continental, buffet and you can order off the menu. I preferred the continental which came with fresh fruit and choice of oatmeal, cereal or granola/yogurt. I was a fan of the oatmeal but heard good things about the granola. Dinner options were plenty but once I discovered the tacos I never strayed. I spent the days thinking about my taco combinations in the evening. Best fancy tacos I have ever had.

Yelp
We did the wine & dine around the globe dinner at Don Manuel's and I only wish I had taken more pictures but I was enjoying the meal too much to bother with my phone. Highly recommend this experience, the food was fantastic and I was so impressed by the sommeliers recommendations. He took us on a tour of the wine cellar after and made the experience so special. The service was impeccable and the ambiance is great for groups and couples.
google avatar

Cindy R.

Yelp
Wonderful ambiance. My husband highly enjoyed his steak (it was perfectly seasoned and well cooked) but my lamb shank lacked seasoning. The meat itself was very tender but the broth they poured in the bowl really did nothing for it. I will say though, the truffle Mac and cheese side was delightful. The service was fantastic, it just wasn't a 5 star experience for me. It was worth a dinner reservation, I would just get something different next time :)
google avatar

Andre K.

Yelp
We had wonderful meals at Don Manuel's during our stay at the Waldorf Astoria. Every meal was super fresh and delicious. You have to order the French toast at breakfast and the fish was all so fresh at dinner! The service was next level. Every server went above and beyond to make each meal a pleasant experience. Special shout out to Salvador and Heriberto who took great care of us every morning for breakfast.
google avatar

Jim W.

Yelp
Stayed at the Waldorf so this was our go to restaurant for breakfast.the buffet is wonderful, cooked to order omelets and eggs, a huge selection of pastries and fruits. each day they feature tamales quesadillas and /or tostadas . Hand made tortillas and multiple fresh juices, cheeses, fish. You name it they have it. And of course the service is great. Strong recommendation for breakfast.
google avatar

Sarah D.

Yelp
The service is not notch but the food is fair at best. The prices are not worth it really. If you're looking for something unique or special and have higher expectations this really isn't the place. We were going to try el farralon but if this is any indication feels like it would be the same.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant within the gorgeous Waldorf Astoria Cabo San Lucas. The staff and the service they deliver stole the show here. Everyone is friendly and accommodating. They truly go out of their way so you can enjoy your meal and experience. They offer a full bar and their drinks are delicious. They made me an excellent old fashioned and the wine list is definitely worth a close look. The food is delicious, fresh and worth the coast of admission. Enjoy your cocktail or glass or wine and delicious meal with a stunning view of the Pacific ocean. Show up at Sunset and watch one of Nature's miracles over a memorable dinner.

Yelp
Upscale food with a fantastic view at the stunning Waldorf hotel, though service wasn't up to par. For the premium fees you pay bring here, that was extremely disappointing. Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere 4.5 Kids menu: yes Opentable able: yes Cost to worth it rating: 2 (definitely a spendier spot being at a Waldorf) Return worthiness: maybe Highlights: - Lobster special: full lobster grilled. Simple and divine. 4.5 stars - Dessert sampler: peanut butter cream puff w chicharron on top, slice of banana French toast, brownie, and mousse. They were all good. 4.5 stars - Chocolate chip cookies: on kids menu, came with 3 cookies topped with m and ms. Big hit. 4.5 stars - Pork chop: on the bone. Thick and tasty. 4 stars - Kids pasta: my son enjoyed the butter noodles. 4 stars Midlights: - Easter brunch but no egg or breakfast items. - Goat cheese pastry appetizer: thought it would be melty under the pastry but was chunks. 3 stars - Only champagne was $40 a glass and didn't care for the Prosecco. Lowlights: - Lacking service: Took almost a half hour to order, 15 min to even get a menu after we asked. Each time we wanted to ordered a drink it took a while to locate our waiter and even longer for it to arrive. It was Easter so they met have been short staffed, but definitely very disappointed for a Waldorf hotel restaurant where they typically pride themselves on stellar service. Unfortunately this negatively impacted our otherwise nice meal. Would potentially return for another meal hoping the service was a fluke that day.
google avatar

Enrique A. G.

Yelp
The view was amazing and the service was over and beyond. So you literally pay for that part of it. The food was not Mexican approved. The portions are small and the food was alright. I would not recommend the food but the views make up for it.

Yelp
Many meals had at Don Manuel's over a 7 day honeymoon. 5-6 breakfasts, taco tasting and 2 dinners. I really enjoyed dinner - enough to book a second night canceling a reservation in town. We also enjoyed the private taco tasting at Travesia. Although this is typically semi private we had it all to ourselves. 9 courses and 9 cocktails in a private setting led by the WA culinary team. An absolutely unique and very fun experience. The breakfast is fantastic and although I'm not normally a fan of a buffet, this one is exceptional. There is also a full menu, but the buffet is so good that my wife and I just had that each day.
google avatar

katrina g.

Yelp
One star because of the beautiful atmosphere and hospitable hostess staff. The food is horrible and the upselling is obnoxious. The eggs smell gamey and not fresh. The bacon also has an odd odor. The tacos were the worst I'd had in Mexico. Don't get the Ceaser salad - it's not good. We are here 3 days in a row and again in a separate visit so I am finally making a review after giving it 4 chances.
google avatar

John P.

Yelp
Pros: - great staff - really pretty surroundings - easy to get a reservation - decent prices - desserts were amazing! - desserts and appetizers were good for 6 people. Cons: - had better ribeye somewhere else. The flavor wasn't really there. Kind of disappointed about it. Overall, wasn't that impressed with the food. I had high expectations because it's in the Waldorf Astoria. The scenery was beautiful though!
google avatar

Angie C.

Yelp
Service was great but found this place widely expensive for sub par food. I'm a huge foodie and don't mind paying more for great quality food. We came here to eat and also check out the Waldorf. I've also been to El Huerto, Flora Farms, etc. Those places you pay roughly the same price for wayyyy better food. Revolutionary/unique food at both El Huerto and Flora. Got the taco trio- shrimp, fish and lobster. All were covered in sauce and if the fish is that good- you don't need the sauce. We also ordered the chicken sandwich which was again- just ok but the bread was super buttery and overpowered the sandwich. In short, none of the food was revolutionary that would make you say- I need to come back here. The view is great but hey isn't it great in a lot of places in Cabo. Prob would not come back and spend my money to go to El Huerto again.

Yelp
I want to start by saying the service here was wonderful. Our servers were knowledgeable, attentive and very friendly. The property itself is beautiful. I do wish we made our reservation at an earlier time as by the time we arrived the sun had mostly set so we didn't get to fully enjoy the views. Our reservation was at 6:30. To start we had the blue fin tuna with grilled watermelon. This was my favorite part of the meal. For my entree, I had the sea bass. My husband had the short ribs and a side of black truffle macaroni and cheese. I tried the mac and cheese and it was the best I've ever tried. For a drink, I had the Pedregal Reyes based on the recommendation of our server. It was good, but nothing to rave about. My biggest complaint overall was the price of everything. Everything was good, but nothing that wow'd us, and the cost was too high for what you received. Our bill ended up being $360 USD, before the tip. It was just myself and my husband. I don't know if I'd return. Perhaps for a special occasion but it certainly won't be on our regular rotation when visiting Cabo.

Yelp
Came here last night and was taken aback by the majesticness of this place! SO BEAUTIFUL. Live band was great, and the music was great too. We came to celebrate my birthday and they treated us with free dessert cake with a sparkler candle! Tomato Burrata Salad 4.5/5 Salad was GREATTTT, not overpoweringly salty and the taste was great! Crab Risotto 4.5/5 This I loved because it was unique and I have never tried anything like it! I liked that the crab was cooked as if it was fried?? Rib Eye Steak 5/5 We got it done medium and it was beautiful!!! Great flavor and texture, it melted in ur mouth. Would highly recommend !! Catch of the Day 4.9/5 So soft and one of the best fish I had!! One thing I would say is that I didn't think the sweet potato mousse that was on the fish went well with it.. Overall, such a great experience and the view is AMAZING. However, one thing was the service was kinda slow...and with the price we were paying I thought it could be a bit better. After our appetizers it took 40 minutes for the entrees to come out..
google avatar

Hilda S.

Yelp
DO. NOT. MISS!! Definitely a splurge spot, but worth EVERY penny! Location, Hospitality, Service, Food... ALL are impeccable!! I so need to win the lottery so I can stay here! Either way, I'm definitely going back to this restaurant!!

Yelp
We have been several times to El Farallón at the Waldorf here in Pedregal. Don Manuel is in the same resort, but has a very different feeling. As you arrive, be sure you have a reservation in order to be allowed on property. The host will escort you from your taxi down through the exquisitely designed resort to the restaurant. We had a drink in the bar first (the barrel aged Mezcaloni was wonderful) and then sat at our table for two. I had been a little hesitant about eating outside because the weather was chilly and windy. Had we been at Farallón on the cliff, we would have been shivering. Don Manuel, however, is sheltered at the bottom of the cliff and adjacent to the beautiful pool, with the beach beyond. It has an indoor area as well as a beautifully cozy, heated patio. We were very comfortable. As for the food, it was excellent. The servers were attentive and brought us five-star dishes that we felt were worth the (rather high) price. We started with the tuna and watermelon appetizer, and I was blown away by the way they played with similarity and contrast in this dish. Loved it! For an entree, I had the mole "enmoladas." It was one of the best mole sauces I've ever had. We finished off our romantic evening with coffee and a crisp, delightful churro dessert. I know this is an expensive dinner, but if you're able to make it a special event and enjoy truly well designed food and atmosphere, Don Manuel is an excellent choice.

Yelp
The most amazing breakfast service. I think it should receive a Michelin star just for the many amazing things happening at breakfast. The pastries are top notch ! We are constantly on the hunt for the best pastries at home, driving long distances and spending $$$. However, these pastries are far better than most of what we can find. They're made in-house early in the morning. The pineapple jalapeño sauce is exquisite. The guava marmalade , the made to order omelets. The French toast is amazing. The many fresh squeezed juices. Quesadillas. All top notch. Btw- not too sharply of a view either. The service is amazing , beyond great. We went multiple days and the waiters will remember what you like and prepare them before even being asked. Quite simply, the best breakfast place we've been to.
google avatar

Yuechen Y.

Yelp
The food is delicious. We ordered the flank steak taco and the shrimp taco. However, there's too many flies flying around at around 2-3pm once our food came out. Not a good dining experience because of the flies. I had to ask the server to do something, so they brought some thyme that was wrapped in a basket though it wasn't helpful.
google avatar

Kaitlyn L.

Yelp
Booked this restaurant at the Waldorf Astoria for dinner. Beautiful ambiance and view. They give you plenty of time to enjoy the atmosphere in between drinks and appetizers and blankets because it gets a little windy at night. Would recommend the crab risotto
google avatar

James M.

Yelp
Diamond members get 2 Continental breakfasts, which doesn't include much, but can easily be enough for light eaters. I upgraded to the Mexican breakfast buffet ($10++) for each of my 4 visits so I could try a diff Mexican entrée every morning. Some were very good, some were just ok, none were phenomenal like The Cape's breakfast. However, sitting outside (overlooking the adult infiniti pool, feeling the cool breeze, and hearing the waves crash) was def a treat! Service was ALWAYS fantastic. Ask for a box if you have leftovers. You can take your smoothie to go so you can sip while walking off brekkie on the sand.

Amanda B.

Yelp
Delicious food, exceptional service, and beautiful setting! We enjoyed celebrating our 20 year anniversary here this evening.

Lee G.

Yelp
We had a special family meal here while on vacation. The service was welcoming, gracious, attentive, and accommodating. The food was very good but somewhat pricey, but, given the view and service, understandable. I would return for a special occasion.
google avatar

Roxanne H.

Yelp
Located inside the Waldorf Astoria, Don Manuel's had great service and a lively vibe - there was a band playing classic hits throughout dinner. Our server was on top of it - giving us recommendations accompanied by thorough/mouth-watering details of each dish. Given the location, do expect a slightly higher price point.

Foodie Girl S.

Yelp
What a gorgeous day! The property itself is stunning. We went for lunch, a glorious two hour feast, sipping amazing, margaritas, and enjoying every second. Have the tacos! Everything was delicious!

Rob E.

Yelp
We stayed at the Waldorf Astoria resort, so dined here several times for both breakfast and dinner. The food is excellent, but the service is absolutely outstanding. Everything we ordered was fresh, delicious and beautifully prepared. The hostess, the bartenders and especially the waiters delivered just over-the-top service. Special shout out for a wonderful week of dining to Allan, Diego, Daniel, Caesar and of course Emilio!
google avatar

Jason F.

Yelp
Hola Muchachos. There are two great things about Don Manuel's, three if you count the views and the location. 1) great food 2) great service. These are the things that I really care about in any restaurant that I frequent. Breakfasts here are amazing! Fresh fruit and hand squeezed fruit juices. All sorts of options and OHHH the pastries are incredible, particularly the raisin swirls. We had one dinner here and it was also great, there are so many great things on the menu, definite recommend.

Yelp
Yes, yes, Si, and Oui, Crazy fine tacos and ambiance. The place to ask her to say I do, if it's sunset These guys have a good thing going. Chill, but elegant Relax, but don't break the wallet. Good stuff, go check it out A good relaxing evening
google avatar

Calvin M.

Yelp
The best food, ambience and professional service I've experienced in years. Well worth the expensive meals. You must go when visiting Cabo San Lucas
google avatar

Rachel L.

Yelp
we are staying at the waldorf astoria & don manuel's for lunch was our first stop! we had to try their tacos & their chips & guac. everything tasted extremely fresh. my favorite tacos had to be the lobster, shrimp, and fish. everything was simple, not too greasy, and plated beautifully

K A.

Yelp
Fantastic meal, great service and great setting. This is a truly beautiful property. I'm not the biggest fan of Cabo in general but this property is breathtaking. We saw one of the most incredible sunsets having dinner outside. Everything we ate was delicious. Can't wait to come back to this place.

Yelp
Really nice outdoor seating area with views of the ocean, and great breakfast. Good drinks too.

Yelp
We tried going on Christmas Eve. Restaurant was NOT accommodating of our dietary restrictions. Very disappointing after wonderful nights at Toro, La Lupita and Abrol. Management should really be ashamed of the way my wife and I were treated!

Yelp
Phenomenal! Light music playing by small band in background on a Saturday night. Go to Champagne terrace prior to your reservation though. So beautiful. And ok back to Don Manuel. Fresh fish incredible! Two person service team. So friendly. Spectacular presentation of perfection

Yelp
In A Nutshell: -Don Manuel's is located on the property of the Waldorf Astoria Pedregal in Cabo. -They only serve breakfast/lunch during COVID-19, but you should keep checking directly w/ them. -The menu's are all QR coded/downloadable to your smartphone. -I was able to enjoy breakfast everyday during my stay & it was all FREE due to my Hotels.com Gold membership. -Breakfast is phenomenal! -I tried just about all the menu items & everything was top-notch GOOD. -I enjoyed the: Huevos Rancheros, Scrambled Eggs Burrito w/ Chorizo, Chile Relleno & Cabo Benedicts (both the Smoke Marlin & the Crab Meat versions). -After ordering waters w/ fresh lemon/ & lime slices & house coffee, I always ordered the Acai & Gogi Pudding + the Tropical Fruit Plate as appetizers, both are freaking delicious. -I also suggest the "Moon Phase Juices", especially the "Waining Moon". I drank that everyday & I ordered more than one each time. -I will admit I pigged out at breakfast & also ordered sides of Chorizo & their Sausages (the sausages were so good b/c they weren't salty at all!). -The service at Don Manuel's is 5 STAR, from the hostess to the wait staff and the manager who came out to greet us, I felt like a celebrity. -All seating is outdoors & social distance away from other people. Overall, Don Manuel's is one of the best places I've ever enjoyed breakfast in the world!

Yelp
We just returned from our stay at The Resort at Pedregal and we cannot say enough great things about Don Manuels. The food is terrific, the ambiance is out of this world and the service is unmatched. We had breakfast each morning here, and left fat and happy every time. They are so attentive and the food is fantastic. We also had dinner here twice and it was amazing. Go early and have cocktails in the bar - their bartenders are the best and it's a visually stunning setting. On our last night, we remarked to the hostess that we wished the sushi bar was open for dinner, as we had enjoyed the sushi poolside each day. She said they would be happy to serve us the sushi in Don Manuels and they did. They went way out of their way for us, we appreciated it so much. They also have live music each night and every night it was very good! Highly recommend.

Yelp
The meal we had at Don Manuel's was one of the best we have had in Cabo. Ivan and Cuberto were our servers and never missed a beat, if our water class was getting low, or if we needed a wrap because the air was getting chilly, it happened. Excellent service. If you love mushroom soup this is the place to get it, simply delicious. My daughter had the lobster and grandma's pasta and I had a Mexican beef dish (unfortunately I don't remember name) that was wonderful. I mentioned my daughters birthday was March 14, so they surprised her with a dazzling dessert display. I ordered the churros and I will never be able to get them another place.

Yelp
Five-star experience from beginning to end. Charming decor, exceptional food, and service I wish I could find back home. Even the cocktails were top shelf! It's seaside so you can hear the surf, but that'll fade quickly into the background because delights like the heirloom tomato salad and bluefin tuna tartare will grab your attention. Delicioso! They offer all kinds of quality drinks too, including three cocktails we fell for at first taste: Pedregal Reyes, Smoked Paloma, and Chipotle Granita. The service was spectacular. From being there to pull out my wife's chair (and mine!) to always knowing just when we wanted our next drink or next course, Orfanel and Juan were a model of what service should be. Friendly, polite, helpful, perfectly present. They were fantastic. We will happily come here again. Soon.
