Had lunch here for the first time. Small space, but it has some of the traditional theming. decent food and quick service. For the price, I’ll give it 5 stars.

The food was good! Next time I'd order the burrito with a bit less cheese sauce but it was good!

Two adults and our 5 year old visited for the first time. I’m a very picky eater, so I always get the shredded chicken nachos when we eat at Mexican restaurants, and they had the absolute best chicken! It was so good. My 5 year old also wanted me to let you know that his chicken nuggets were the best he’s ever had too. 😅

Tucked away between other businesses, this restaurant has amazing food with an authentic atmosphere and feel. Sitting arrangements could use updating and/or fixing up. Prices are average, but the food taste is above average.

Honestly, this is some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had! We randomly stopped here on vacation and all six of us raved about how good the food was. From our salsa to our entrees we were very satisfied and wish we could pick the restaurant up and move it to NC with us!

First timers! Server was very patient as we tried to decide what we wanted. Food was hot and delicious. The grilled garlic mushrooms were very good.

We usually eat in here and when I do the service and everything is amazing. This time, however, we ordered to go. We had to go to their website because they do not have an app. The order was wrong, and it took a little bit to correct it. That we had no problem with mistakes happen. Why 3 stars is because the cashier was rude and looking at me like the mistake was my fault. She kept staring at me as if I messed up her whole life....If it was not for that, it would have been a 5 star review. You have to be kind. All the time....Maybe we will visit again and I hope for a better outcome.

Cute little Mexican restaurant in a strip mall. We got seated promptly and she let us bring our kids food in from somewhere else. The only thing I’d say negative is we had to ask for a drink refill but overall amazing flavorful food!

The food was delicious and authentic. New to the area and trying to find the good spots. This is one of our favorites so far. Check it out.

Decided to stop here for dinner after a long day in Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge. Great prices and delicious food. My friend & I shared the chicken fajitas for two and still took home leftovers. The service was also good. We had a table of 5 and everything came out fast.

Ate dinner here Tuesday night it was quick good service, very clean. It's a small place but lots of seating! Great food, good prices will definitely be back!

Even the simplest item on the menu was fantastic - I had the crunchy beef tacos. The service was also great - it seemed like there were only two people working and they nailed it. They juggled serving tables, taking calls, and handling walk-in to-go orders with minimal delay. Our server was very friendly. Ambiance is what you might expect - fun music & cozy decorations

You know it's unfortunate because the food is so excellent but the service is so abysmal that it ruins the whole experience. 5 star food, 1 star service. 1 star kid crying the entire meal.

Was looking for something quick before a game and glad we came here. The food was hot and so fresh. The grilled shrimp tacos are so flavorful. The fajitas sizzled for nearly 5 minutes after arriving. So glad we tried them.

Passing through and we saw the reviews on this place so we decided to give it a try. We will definitely be back! Great food and service. The cheese is as good as all the reviews say, get it. The guac was really good too once a little salt was added. And the Margarita's were good and very reasonably priced. As for food, the Molcajete was excellent. I will be ordering this again. It came with carnitas, beef, shrimp, chicken, and chorizo along with a ton of vegetables. It was all really good but my favorites were the shrimp and chorizo. Huge serving size was also a plus. My wife said the Pina Rellena Fajitas were great as well. As for other food, the chicken quesadilla was just ok because of the shredded chicken being dry and the chicken enchilada was even drier so that made it worse. Both had shredded chicken in them which I would not order again. My grilled chicken in the Molcajete was excellent however so I would just stay away from the shredded chicken personally. Our server was friendly, helpful, and attentive so this is a major strength here as well!

Not the cleanest Mexican restaurant in the world. The service was sub part and the food was nothing to write home about. They barely tried.

First time at Don Marcos and we love Mexican food. To start ask for the spicy salsa and mix it with the normal table salsa for a bit of a perfect blend of flavor and heat. The location is clean and not very loud even when full. Nice staff and friendly for new guests. I ordered the Pina Rellena Fajitas which is a mixed meat fajita plate ( chorizo, steak and chicken) served in a PINEAPPLE! The juice soaks into the spicy fajita flavors in a sweet surprise. I have only been here once, but if a local this would be it for me! A real delight. My wife and daughter split the chicken fajitas single. It was plenty for the two of them. They liked the flavor and loved the rice and beans. Very authentic rice and beans. Guacamole was ver good also. One critique is the inclusion of tomatoes in the fajitas. They did not like them as it seemed to dilute the fajita flavor with too much extra liquid. But we all went away happy.

Our family of five stop by for a quick meal at Don Marcos. The staff was very friendly and the food was good. Overall, it was a fine experience.

Fun little place in a strip mall kind of a hidden Jem, I would definitely go back. The food was definitely authentic very tasty and the service was OK.

We decided to try it because of the good reviews. Cute hole in the wall place and the service was good, but the food tastes like it came out of a can. If you want Mexican food, go somewhere else.

Clean restaurant good food really good customer service. I've eaten a lot of what's on the menu. The only thing I don't recommend is the Chile Rellano

Sometimes you just have to ignore the bad reviews. There are some people that you couldn't please even if you let them eat free. This place was family run and willing to please. We were very happy and exceptionally pleased with quality and quantity of food for the price. They had a large menu with Mexican dishes I have not experienced in other Mexican establishments. Try it, you'll like it!

BEWARE. Michelle is awful. Rude. They gave us the wrong order. Blamed it on the kitchen then said we ordered the wrong thing. Michelle wanted to argue with us trying to ruin our lunch. Torn seats. Crappy place.

Sometimes when a place first opens its very popular, and then portions, service, cleanliness, go down hill! I am afraid the day we stopped by, this was the case. Mid afternoon, and we were spotted menus, table had residue from the day. I wiped with a wetone, and ordered, our usual attentive server was not as prompt. And we had to ask for many items. And when our food came it was missing items the menu said it had. At that point my hubby I could see was disappointed, and so was I We ate our meal, but last time we were in the area and I said honey you want to try Mexican he said not really. So we shall see, I, this business consistency is important, and cleanliness.

So happy to see a good Mexican restaurant in Kodak. After being to El Paso many times I can't say that the food is even authentic Mexican anymore. It's an Americanized Taco Bell imitation. Moving on, this a great hole in the wall located beside the Food City plaza in Kodak. The tiny place churns out great fajitas, chimichangas, and get the Molcajete! It was chicken, beef, steak and shrimp in a cast iron bowl smothered with cheese. I ate it three times it was so much food for 13$ it doesn't get any better. Not sure if they have liquor yet but I live so close it doesn't matter. Very personable staff and zero language barriers. They also do lunch specials even on Saturdays. Gracias!!!

First time having Mexican food in Tennessee and it was no let down. Cute little spot with super friendly service and the food was great. I had the veggie fajitas and all the veggies were really fresh and delicious. We also ordered the queso and guac which I didn't get a photo of but both were really great!

Best taco salads! My wife love the margaritas. The place was practically full but the service was still good. Highly recommend this place.

Stopped by on on way back home to Chicago. Fantastic food and great service. Salsa is amazing. There are several hot sauces you can add into your individual bowl to kick up the heat to your preference.

I haven't had a good typical Mexican meal in awhile and this really hit the spot. Taste was amazing and service was quick. Highly recommend and my friend I was with said he would be back for sure as well.

Food is always good and service is slow sometimes but the place is clean and small. No complaints here!

Everything I have eaten here has been delicious! Hamburgers are tasty. Baked spaghetti is delicious! The onion rings are great! The pizza is wonderful! There are many choices for pizza and Italian dishes. The service is good. Ambiance is relaxing and comfortable. The prices are reasonable. There was a good salad bar that has been removed. The wraps are average.

Tasty food. Affordable prices. Good and speedy service. I particularly like the salsa. Not trendy or hipster. A shopping center Mexican resturant is going to have the MexAmerican classics, of course but they are done well. This place will exceed your expectations. If your traveling past on I-40 and want a quick, hot, sit down meal, this is a good stop.

Yum! This place is barely noticeable next to a grocery store. Service was friendly and the food was great. Probably the best Mexican food since moving to TN. I had a burrito with shrimp, beef and chicken and queso. The refried beans were delicious I attempted to eat all of it but couldn't do it. The ambiance is typical nothing standing Out from the other places but really who goes to eat Mexican for the atmosphere.

This was my first time going here. It's a very small hidden place in a strip mall. The service was very very slow and it took forever for them to take our order and even longer to bring our food out. The only good thing I can tell you was the food was really good and tasty. Just don't be in a big hurry. The food was worth the wait..

The waitress is incredibly beautiful and helpful. We ordered shrimp and steak dinner meal and it was delicious. FREE chips and salsa and if you want spicy salsa, please request the waitress. People who love to eat are always the best people. To eat is a necessity, but to eat intelligently is an art. We all eat, an it would be a sad waste of opportunity to eat badly. If you really want to make a friend, go to someone's house and eat with him...the people who give you their food give you their heart. Thank you Don Marco's!

What is the first time I ate at this place and will be my last time this place was awful staff was unfriendly. Writer took forever did not check on us. I would not recommend this to no one.

Food looks and tastes good service is really good just not my cup of tea. I prefer simpler dishes with more options. My family likes it but just not my favorite .

The entire experience here was fantastic. It's located in a strip mall and the interior is decorated really nicely. The red quesadilla was great- a chicken quesadilla with a red sauce on top. Also, for dessert, I got a Xango which is like a fried cheesecake and I definitely recommend it if you get the chance to go here.

We were driving from NC to TN and had a hungry family in the car. Came across this restaurant on YELP and stopped for lunch. One of the best Mexican meals we have had. Service was fast. Food was delicious - could have eaten just the side of rice and beans. Our tacos were fantastic and kids ate all of their food. Would definitely stop here again!

We are local so we eat here a lot. The owner is one of the hardest working woman I know. She is always super helpful and nice when on site. The food and service is always great as well !

Stopped here while passing through Tennessee. Ordered the chimichangas and they were very good. Came with refried beans, guacamole, fresh lettuce and tomatoes. Chips and salsa served when we sat down. My daughter ordered the nachos and said they were great. Good service

Delicious quick and easy lunch. About a mile off the exit in the food city strip mall. It's clean and they are nice. Coca Cola is so good not weak and watery. Their salsa is so yummy. Great flavor. My husband had the pollo fiesta. Tender fresh and a large portion. I had the mushroom quesadilla and it was good too. Great cheese good quality food. Great service. Quaint and easy!

Service was great! Food was excellent! We had queso with ground beef as an appetizer which was delicious! The three meals ordered at our table were amazing - chicken burrito verde, carnitas, and steak fajita nachos.

This food hit the spot. Quick service and delicious. Our waitress was very accommodating and the dessert was tasty. We will be back next time we are in town.

Just rolled into town and we were starving. Seeing the reviews, we decided yep we want Mexican. The booth we sat in felt as if it would collapse at any time. Service was slow, but adequate as in we got the essentials. Ordered margaritas, but asked what kind of tequila they used. And we all wanted a shot on top of the drink. We were told they had Jack Daniels. We asked again, tequila. Then we were told they had coconut rum. We literally had to point to the bottles of tequila that were on a shelf. Yikes. But hey, we were hungry and the reviews were good. Our food came out, mine was wrong. I had ordered steak burrito and I got chicken. When I did get it, there was literally like a 1/4 tsp of sour cream. I asked for a little more. Got charged ,99 for it. Wouldn't have minded that if my order wasn't shorted. The burrito was far less than stellar. The two others with me also their meals weren't 'good'. The margaritas were horrible and the shots we got weren't shots, they were tiny swallows. Which they charged $4.00 for. Not horribly priced, just not shots. We found out the margaritas are not made in house. They are just poured out of a bottle they buy commercially. All in all we were highly disappointed.

Service was great. Food and drinks were great too. Chips fresh. Guacamole delish! Small little place but definitely worth a stop. We had fajitas, steak burritos, chili verde, taco and enchilada. Not one complaint. Patron these folks, they deserve it.

Very cute and nicely decorated quaint little restaurant. Family owned and run which makes it even more special. But the food, ah, the food was sensational, wife had the veggie fajitas and I had chicken, both were wonderful. The best part is that their 1.4 miles from home!! Woohoo!!

No, this joint is nice. I'm from Austin Texas. I've eaten at Mexican restaurants in Texas, Arizona, North Carolina, Tennessee, South Carolina. This just might be my favorite place. No it's a small place and the booths are about well they're about to fall apart some of them but the food itself the man make some decisions that are just tasty and very pleasing to the eye my wife got the dish that was served in a pineapple, she absolutely adored it and I got the one that comes in the bowl. Both of them sizzling can't think of the name of it but I'm telling you all the homemade tortillas were on point the salsa was on point of chips or warm. The staff was friendly very clean restaurant bathrooms are clean but the food the food was real nice they do a nice guacamole some places do some places don't this place does I hope you have a chance I strongly suggest checking them out.

We ordered the molcajete and a burrito. It was really good. For a small restaurant in a strip mall this place is incredible. There was so much food we had enough left over for another meal!!! Worth the trip.
