"A legendary Galician restaurant where, as soon as you walk through the door, you take a journey back in time thanks to the strong focus on top-quality ingredients that are used to create simple yet almost unforgettable dishes in which the flavour of fish and seafood is respected to the full. Nowadays, there are very few places such as this, where you’ll find a live seafood tank at the entrance, in this case full of spider crabs from the estuary." - Michelin Inspector

Our group came here for dinner and it was private as the restaurant was not open yet. The servers took great care of us and the food was above average. I'm not going to try to name the dishes but the salad was a mixed salad with either small pieces of cod or salmon and was very tasty. The entre for me was a beef dish with potatoes and was also very tasty and went well with the red wine that flowed freely from the servers. It was a great experience.

Very nice traditional Spanish restaurant with the balance between the beef and seafood. Very old, yet modern at the same time. Even if you don't like shellfish (as I don't) you should try it here. I actually need it and it was really good.

It’s like eating at the home of the Galician family you didn’t know you have. Delicious food and warm service. Not touristy.

The food is exceptional, and the service is just as good. The waiting staff here reminded of a time when waiting on tables was almost an art, not a summer job for students. I'd give them 10 stars if I could. My glass of wine was the same price as everywhere else, but much higher quality. The Caldo Gallego was great and came with a generous portion of cheese. The stewed goat was perfect.

Exceptional dinner in Santiago. Just a short walk from the touristy spots in the old town, this establishment delivers quality and friendly service to its mostly local clientele. If you want authentic Galician food, this is the place. The best caldo gallego with fresh delicious greens. Their specialty, the cochinillo, was delicious and the veal chop superb. Also, excellent wine list. Highly recommended.

It was indeed an amazing surprise for us to come across this little place of a restaurant that serves both fresh fish dishes plus the most amazing meat you can order in Santiago. It’s called “Chuletón de vaca”, if you’re a party of two, then definitely order this and you will not regret it. For dessert, have their specialty crepe flambé, simply delicious!!

Absolutely amazing experience. Truly impeccable service. We ate our last meal of the Camino here and could not have asked for a better option. The zamburiñas were incredible, and both meat entrees (cabra con patatas and jabali con castañas) delicious. Nice wine list. We had to rush off to get to the airport so couldn't stay for dessert - it looked amazing - and the waitstaff was so helpful in rushing to get us out in time. If you have a meal in Santiago, you should make it here.

Yelp
The food was excellent! Started with the mix salad, scallops and amazing sea bass. My friend had the best dish of the night, the goat. The roast pig also comes highly recommended. Service was spot on and so friendly.
