The presentation was great. Will have to give this place another try. Ordered for pickup and did not go directly home to enjoy. I've heard good things about the Fried Avocado & the Bulgogi. 🤤

It's a nice small place with seating upstairs and down. We enjoyed the food, ambiance and decoe of the restaurant with superb service. Drink 🍸 was well made as it was Margarita day, so tried it. Sign on the street helped us pick this place out of many around. Found street paid parking.

The guac is really delicious and tastes like homemade. The chips are also perfectly crispy and light so they are super addictive, excellent with the guac. Tacos are also very delicious!! All the staff was extremely friendly and professional. The music was fun and decor is also modern and cool.

Vegetarian’s review: Don Taco has about five choices that are vegetarian/vegan friendly. It was a bummer that the rice and beans aren’t vegetarian. Rice has chicken stock and beans have pork. This ruled out ordering the taco trio and the rice bowl for our family. We tried the following: - fried avocado taco (very good) - cauliflower tempura taco (good) - spicy mushroom taco (good) - fajita quesadillas (very good) - fried plantains (nope) - caramel tres leches - fried Oreos - chips and guacamole (nice) Service and atmosphere - very good!

The tacos tasted so great! I got the El Gringo and that spicy guac and queso blended great together. The mixed drink I got had Blue Curacao and took me back to a sunny beach.

Came in on a Sunday afternoon. Nice kick back spot with plenty of tequila options. The bar tender was very attentive and the tacos tasted good. *Update*.. attended happy hour and really enjoyed the house tequila. The jalapeno margaritas were awesome as well.

I've been looking for a new taco place and this might be my new favorite!! I love the location. Perfect when you're having a day in Old Town. The customer service was nice and my tacos were delicious. I also loved the atmosphere of the place and music. I will be back!

If you're a taco lover, Don Taco in Alexandria is a must-visit! They offer an incredible variety of tacos – from blackened salmon to grouper, fried chicken, and beef – truly, they have something for everyone. The authenticity doesn't stop at the food; their selection of liquors and drinks are deeply rooted in Mexican culture. With options like margaritas, mojitos, and palomas, you're sure to find the perfect drink to complement your meal. This time, I decided to try the burrito, and it was a delightful surprise! It was not only delicious but also very filling – I didn't need anything else after. The wait staff at Don Taco is always great, making each visit enjoyable. This place remains a staple on my go-to list for a guaranteed good time and great food.

Yelp
My husband and I were going out for date night and landed on tacos for dinner. After some research, we choose Don Taco. We arrived late on a Saturday night and the vibes were great; we were greeted immediately with a smile, it was not particularly crowded (at least not downstairs) and there was music playing at a respectable level in addition to a football game on the tv at the bar (that everyone, including us was watching). It's our first time here, we traveled over an hr to get here and so far we're impressed. Our waitress immediately comes over and brings us water, menus, and asked if wanted appetizers-we ordered chips and salsa. We found it odd that those were not complimentary, but no taco night for us is complete w/out it so we got them and also immediately placed our food order. I had Birria, blackened salmon and a chicken pupusa, my husband got a bulgogi, Birria, land and sea, and sweet chili salmon taco. We also ordered fajitas to share because it came with beans and rice and normally even if we don't finish those sides, we at least like to try them, and again, they're offered as an add on; not complimentary like you typically find in most places . My husband ordered something non alcoholic off the drink menu; I had a Cadillac margarita. Our chips and salsa were great. Nice crispy chips that weren't too thick; not too thin, and the salsa was incredibly fresh, flavorful and had a nice kick. We immediately concluded that they were worth the price. Our food came out shortly after and it was piping hot. Every single thing we ordered was delicious. The tacos were stuffed, and incredibly flavorful. Everything complimented the other so well. The beans and rice were another surprisingly great side dish. They use red kidney beans which were so flavorful and a great change up from being served black or pinto beans. Again, we understand completely charging for them and not letting that be something people move to the side of the table after a few bites, essentially wasting it. While we didn't finish the rice, we cleared those beans lol. Outside of the beans, and salsa another thing that stood out to us over the course of our meal was the consume that came with the birria-it was so good. In fact all of the food was so good, we opted to skip dessert and ordered more tacos!! Lol-birria and a couple other tacos that we wanted to try. I also opted for another drink and the waitress recommended the Jamaican punch-it was great. The drinks were made with a hefty alcohol pour and you could choice which particular tequila you wanted your drink to be made with..I appreciated that. We left completely full and one hundred percent satisfied. We loved everything about this place..food, service, ambience and drinks were all 10's..not one complaint. We cannot wait to return. We talked about it the next day and both agreed that our normal taco spot has been dethroned!

Yelp
I downloaded yelp, made an account, just to publish this review. That's how bad the food poisoning I am crippled with is currently. I do not know what was in the meat that they served, but all I can say is that I have had a waterfall come out of my ass for 5 hours straight. Every ten minutes I am running to the bathroom to absolutely obliterate my poor toilet. This is coming from a man who's had Bulgarian street food, Indian street food, and even sushi from 7/11. I have NEVER had food poisoning in my life, not a single time. I would not wish this upon my worst enemy, I am truly amazed at the level of debilitation caused by the don taco experience. Please, for the love of all that is holy, avoid this establishment. I truly hope you never have to experience this medieval level of diarrhea I have been stricken with. God speed.

Ameena A.

Yelp
Visited here with a friend and had a wonderful experience! Food/drinks: I got fajitas and a drink which were both wonderful - I thought the meat (I got steak) was actually sooo yummy (made and seasoned very well). Ambiance: cute! Parking is difficult in the area (but that's Alexandria popularity for ya). Service: this part was just okay for me. One thing that got under my skin a tiny bit was that the server did not know what gluten was. I think that's a basic knowledge point all servers should have!

Yelp
I've been looking for a new taco place and this might be my new favorite!! I love the location. Perfect when you're having a day in Old Town. The customer service was nice and my tacos were delicious. I also loved the atmosphere of the place and music. I will be back!

Yelp
This is our go-to date spot. Everything we've tried on the menu has been delicious. I experiment with different taco combos every time.

Yelp
This has become my go to spot for tacos in Old Town. This place is just great. I usually sit at the bar but sometimes get take-out. The bartenders are always quick to greet you and attentive. The restaurant is small and quaint, but I often get sat immediately. Food comes out super fast and is super tasty. I've not had a single taco I didn't love yet. I think on the last visit I got the land and sea, which is a steak and shrimp taco with caramelized onions and a horseradish sauce, the blue fin, which is a tuna with seaweed and a wasabi sauce, and the birria taco. I also love the carnitas, al pastor, and carne asada tacos from prior visits. I usually get a pacifico to drink, but often see many patrons getting different tequilas or margaritas that all look really good. Check out Don Taco next time you are in Old Town Alexandria and get the taco craving.

Yelp
I came here with my son and really enjoyed this experience. My son, who really enjoys Mexican food, asked for a place in Alexandria after church. We landed on Don Taco, and to my surprise, it's a great find. As with most places in Alexandria, Virginia, there isn't much parking, but that is to be expected. We were quickly seated, and my son commented. His only dislike was that the booth was very low, so if you were not 5 feet tall, it may have been a little difficult to eat at a booth. We relocated to an outdoor seating area in the walkway, which was nice, but it does get a little busy with passersby. The food was nice. My son had three birria tacos without cheese because he is allergic to all dairy. The server was very cautious and insured. His food was made properly, was hot, and delivered in a timely manner. I started with the Mexican Street corn and had three different tacos: one birria taco, one Al Pastor, and one carne asada. The food was hot except for the corn. All in all it was a good experience.

Kishore S.

Yelp
Absolutely ridiculous portions and pricing. I think they forgot to mention that ALL Their menu is for kids only!!! But the pricing was definitely for 5 times the average though. It wasn't like taste was extraordinary or something. It was Average at the best and charging for arm and leg to add jalapeños which were not visible by microscope either.

Asewe O.

Yelp
I stopped by for happy hour, and they had a nice mix of food and drinks to select from. In terms of the happy hour taco options, they are $4, but I say why limit yourself. Pro Tip: For $.50 more you can get the taco that you really want. I was a bit nervous about our service since we were seated outside, but Juan was great and continuously checking on us.

Octavia H.

Yelp
What a great way to end the week with my favorite person. Don Taco was my husband's pick and did they freaking deliver. Daniel was awesome. Love the updated look. Last time we were here it was dark asf. I love the lighting. I had a laundry list of tacos lol. My absolute fave was the Ropa Vieja. Chef's kiss, you heard. I also had the pomegranate, Carne asada, pupusa taco, and the gyro. Oh yeah and then I ordered a round of the Ropa Vieja. Drinks were delish. An awesome time with hubby and super tasty tacos. 1 Girl 3 Spoons approved... date night edition.

Yelp
Customer Service: 10/10!!! We came here on a Saturday evening. We were able to be seated right sway in a booth by the bar. Ingrid was our waitress and she was super friendly!! She was patient, snd honest, and her taco recommendations were on point!! We also were visited by Juan Carlos, who was the bartender. He came over to check on our table a few times and make sure our glasses stayed full. Food: we'll start with the bad since, it'll be quick. We started with the chicken empandas for the appetizer. No bueno. The crust was great, but the chicken had noooo flavor. None! As for the tacos....soooo sooo good!!! I opted for the steak&mushroom (my fav), the birria, and the blackened salmon. The rice and beans that came with it were delicious too!! Drinks: we tried the Gummy Bear Margarita (9/10), and the Blackberry Mint Margarita (8/10). I want to come back to try their happy hour!!

Sami L.

Yelp
The service was absolutely incredible here. Our server did the best job, and I don't shout out servers too often. The booth was very uncomfortable. Definitely needed a higher seat or something, but we made due. The food was good. I recommend the taco trio. They have interesting selection of craft tacos which I thought was neat and modern. The drinks were very good. I highly recommend the a spicy margarita.

Patrick O.

Yelp
From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by friendly staff who generally seem pleased to see you. We sat downstairs in a booth next to the bar so it was easy to catch our waitress or bartender whenever we needed something. Food also came out really quickly which didn't hurt either! In terms of the food, I thought it was some of the higher quality ingredients and flavors I have had in the area. Compared to SoCal Mexican food, I don't think this place is too far off. Especially with the surf and turf burrito which reminded me of a Sonoran Burrito I had in LA. The plantains and the white sauce they came with are a must have in my opinion. Super underrated menu item. Chips and queso were also really creamy and saucy which we almost filled up on before our main dishes came! Drink selection is great and would definitely recommend this as a fantastic place to get a nice buzz on with your friends. Have done pick up order through Don Taco as well and have add good experience

Robert L.

Yelp
I really liked my experience at Don Taco. This is one of my friend's favorite places so when he said, "let's go!", I said "yes". The food here is great. They have very good chips and salsa, a staple for any Mexican restaurant. Get the queso dip to go with the chips. I had a standard burrito, nothing unusual, but it was very good. They offer a military discount. I will go back there next time I'm in the DC area!

Erin G.

Yelp
Corn on the Cob - 10/10 Churros - perfect 10 My wife and I didn't really enjoy most of the tacos. The best one hands down was the Dilly Dilly! 5/5 El Pastor taco - 3.5/5 Birria Taco - 4/5 because the dip was missing cilantro onions etc. Asada Taco - 0/5 - my wife says the chunks of meat were bigger than her mouth.

Jerran N.

Yelp
I did a search for a tacos and this place came up. We were quickly seated as it was empty on a Sunday afternoon. We quickly ordered the smallest bite size tacos I had ever seen. I didn't know they made taco shells so small. We ordered the following, Shrimp and Bacon Taco El Gringo Carne Asada Birria Quesadila All of the food was good. The quesadilla meat was nicely seasoned. The tacos were good however after 2 bites each they were all gone. I'd need to spend at least $30 to have a remote chance at being satisfied at 4.50 each. Cool time but I wanted more.

Ryan J.

Yelp
Really good tacos, good margaritas and drinks, good service, my only complaint is it was expensive for tacos, they were real small. Queso dip was really good.

Teryl R.

Yelp
Tacos tacos tacos!! I love tacos... fulfilling little things with a while lot of flavor. I could only handle two because I also order chips and salsa. The jalapeño margarita was a hit as well. The restaurant as has two levels and I can only imagine how crammed this place could on Tuesday's overall the ambiance is simple and straight to the point. Service was great. Not too much attention but just enough to know that they acknowledge my presence.

Zeni B.

Yelp
Don Taco truly is one of my favorite spots on King St. This is the perfect place regardless of the time or day. The staff is wonderful. Don Taco is a great spot to grab a sit down meal with family, happy hour at the bar with friends, or date night. Their food and drinks are delicious (you must try their Jalapeño Margarita).

Mary Kay P.

Yelp
The diversity of the menu is outstanding! I had the birria and land & sea tacos and both were very tasty.

Jennifer N.

Yelp
Came here to meet up with some friends for drinks and food on a Friday night. We sat at the bar on the first floor while waiting for our table to be ready. This place is roomy so we didn't have to wait long for a table to free up. For drinks we ordered the passionfruit Caipirinha, sweet heat, Paloma, and Sunset in Old Town. Drinks we're good but my favorite was the Sunset in Old Town. As for food we started off with chips and guacamole - I definitely recommend. Tasty Guac! I ordered three tacos: carnitas, pomegranate steak, and blackened salmon. Tacos are super small and range from 4.25-4.0. The service as good. Our server was very attentive and everything came out in a timely manner. I would definitely visit for happy hour

Kamali F.

Yelp
As always I had a great experience at Don Taco. The customer service is always great at the bar. The drinks are good and strong and the food is tasty and consistent. My favorite item on the drink menu is The Exchange. It's a combination of a shot, sangrita and choice of beer. It is not a cocktail, but is such a delight. My favorite food item is definitely the steak quesadilla. The tacos are great, but the steak and cheese in the quesadilla is perfect every time. The restaurant is kind of small, but intimate and has some cute decorations.

Mark S.

Yelp
Excellent Mexican food! I sat at the bar for dinner, and the bartender was very attentive, explained the menu and gave great recommendations! I got the chips and queso appetizer with the street corn and then had the Carne Asada and Bulgogi tacos. All the food was excellent. The ambience was great and the service was excellent. When in doubt check it out this will be a go to when I'm in Alexandria. Two Yums up for Don Taco.

Desiree B.

Yelp
I like the feel of the restaurant. It's a lively atmosphere. Their empanadas are some of my favorites. But their margaritas do it for me every time. They're flavorful, sweet yet strong. We've always had pretty good service here even at busy times.

Kalila W.

Yelp
Tasty tacos.. came in for a quick late lunch/early dinner and ordered a buffalo chicken taco, land & sea taco (skirt steak and fried shrimp), a fried grouper taco, and the el gringo taco (skirt steak, beans, queso fresco and spicy guac)- i like that the tacos are a la carte so you can try different flavors. My fave was the el gringo - the fried grouper and shrimp could have used for flavor or seasoning in the batter to make them stand out. Service was pleasant. I would come back if in the area.

Kelly C.

Yelp
Okayyyy hands down one of the best salsas I've had, I couldn't stop raving about it while eating it. I was also impressed by their vast selection of tacos, there were so many that sounded good it was hard to choose. It's about 4.50/per taco. Happy hour from 4-7 for cheap drinks. Margs were on point! Overall great HH spot.

Shirley F.

Yelp
Tacos are always a good idea and this place was a good idea. Inside is a little small but the bar set up is nice. They do have a rooftop which I didn't see. The margaritas were ok. Tried a mango and Passionfruit margarita, they tasted fresh but something was missing and I can't put my finger on it. I also think the price point is a little high for the value so I think next time I'd come during happy hours. Chicken and beef empanadas were hot and fresh. Stuffed with meat. The green dipping sauce was a good addition The tacos were small but packed. Great flavors and had a kick which I like. Don't get why people complain about spice and flavors. I rather that than bland. I had the shrimp and bacon tacos and steak and mushroom tacos. Everything was seasoned. Steak was tender. The caramel tres leches was a nice way to end dinner. It wasn't too sweet

Phuong O.

Yelp
We came in for lunch and ordered the 3 tacos, steak bowl, cheese quesadillas, avocado and salsa with chips. The dilly dilly, Forrest Gump, and land and sea was delicious. Small tacos with a punch. The kids enjoyed their quesadilla. Girlfriend said her rice bowl was not good. Didn't have flavor to it. Guacamole was alright nothing special. Overall I think it's ok

Sharon H.

Yelp
Mannnnn I told my son this was the best tres leches I have had in a long time. The land and sea taco was good as well, Tender steak and opted for the grilled shrimp without the horseradish sauce because I don't like spicy stuff. The place was packed and I would visit again if parking wasn't issue. I ordered my food to go and had to circle the block and still ended up walking a distance to pick up my food. If picking up take a friend to drive while you run in.

Tom F.

Yelp
Had dinner at 7pm on a Saturday, got seated right away at the bar. The service was on point and the bartender provided helpful recommendations. Had the guacamole and chips (phenomenal), birra, bulgogi, and el gringo tacos with fried Oreos for dessert. I had an upgraded margarita with reposado and it was amazing. Great atmosphere and great vibes!

Jordan H.

Yelp
I really with I took more pictures while I was here lol but the tacos were absolutely delicious. There are so many different options to choose from as far as the tacos go, and the drinks were great as well. This place is like happy hour heaven. I mean really, what's better than tacos and tequila? Not much. This place has them both! Their taco menu is filled with so many different options that you wouldn't even be able to try them all. The quesadilla was great as well, but I highly recommend trying a few of their tacos if you were to stumble in. The service was great and very attentive. Great bar ambiance, definitely check it out if you can.

Jenna Alexa I.

Yelp
Pleasantly surprised the fried avocado taco was fried in tempura batter and glad I at least got one solid Al Pastor. Jalapeño chimichurri is spicy for the average taste tester. Why don't they add "standard" taco fix-ins to most of the other tacos? Or at least the carne asada which is literally just the meat and onions (see photo below). Why are there no regular shmegular fish tacos? Renovations would probably help too but I know it's probably expensive in Old Town. It's not their fault, but I felt bad that a customer ruined their bathroom wall with sharpie for no reason whatsoever. Waiter was nice and attentive. Could be worse, but could also be better.

Danyeah D.

Yelp
Aight, let's get this out the way, I'm big on customer service, I think that's very important. What that being said, I waiting at my table for about 15 minutes or more waiting to seen. I can expect that if it was crowded but in my opinion it wasn't, the only thing I got was some water with no ice. The food was pretty good, I can't take anything away from that. Ordered the shrimp and steak fajitas, steak & shrimp cooked perfectly. Mixed drinks had that kick to it, so they kinda made up some points with that.

Larry M.

Yelp
We came in on a Saturday (early dinner) and were seated right away. The staff was friendly and our server was awesome. We ordered chips and salsa, House Margarita, plus a couple of tacos. The tacos were small but very filling with the right amount of toppings and seasoning.

Lynne S.

Yelp
Food - 5 Service - 4 Ambiance - 4 I took my forever love here for his birthday per his request. We found parking on the street, which was easy during the week but could potentially be a hassle on the weekends. This spot is pretty small inside and has only a few tables but we were able to be seated pretty quickly. We ordered margaritas - I had the mango he had the strawberry - both were delicious!! We ordered chips and salsa, a variety of tacos that were all yummy, and fried Oreos for dessert. Everything was delicious and the service was decent. Definitely go back for the margaritas, chips and salsa if nothing else!

Jayy R.

Yelp
AHHHH MAYYYYYY ZINGGGGG This place is so good I'm typing this review sitting at the table in the restaurant Service was amazing and so fast servers are very attentive The atmosphere is so fun and inviting the music is perfect for the vibes The food Omg the food Ordered a variety of tacos all were fantastic and they loaded those lil tortillas up What an amazing experience 10/10 would recommend

Tyler M.

Yelp
The food and service was good. It all came out in a timely manner. Our waiter was attentive and the cocktails were good. The price is fair as well.

Geno W.

Yelp
Excellent tacos! I got the taco trio and loved all three of my choices. It was lunch, so no fun drinks for me this time, but they look like they have a fun bar for a few cocktails to wash down dinner tacos. I'll be back...thanks for the great service!

Marjan W.

Yelp
Went last Friday for dinner and it was a decent meal. Nothing amazing but still good. The guacamole was probably my favorite part in relation to food as it was fresh and tasty. For drinks, I did like the drink I got which was the passionfruit Caipirinha. This was tasty and unique. Drinks were $12-15 which is average but at some spots in old town, a little high. For tacos, I got the bubba Forrest Gump shrimp one which was extremely spicy to the point it wasn't enjoyable. The buffalo chicken was good and the spicy shroom was also good. I'm used to receiving limes and sauce with tacos at Mexican restaurants so it was disappointing it didn't come with these. These were also pretty small so I'm glad we got the chips and guac. Service was good, nothing extraordinary. I think I'll try to come back for happy hour next time so the pricing is a little better because it did add up quick for just a few tacos and drinks.

Ricardo M.

Yelp
The place is ok, the services it was bad, they have 3 persons talking together we're ready to place the order, tell them we're ready and nobody came because it was not our waitress, Food is horrible place and the worse tacos I ever tried with no taste , they don't have any salsa for tacos, when I asked for a salsa the came with a Chiolula sauce (grocery spicy sauce) Don't waste your time and money on this place

Nicke R.

Yelp
This is a great spot in Old Town. Staff is always super kind and they have a nice selection of tacos (as well as other options if you want something other than tacos). The guacamole and salsa are also good and we received freshly made chips. The Cluck taco is my favorite and they always load the tacos up (they aren't huge). They always have upbeat, fun music playing. Would recommend!

Reginald G.

Yelp
Went there on a Wednesday to meet my cousin and his coworker. We sat at the bar and ordered. Very friendly and knowledgeable bartender. I ordered the veggie quesadillas and they were very good. His coworker and he ordered the avocado taco and they raved about it. We all tasted the white wine sangria and it was good. I also had Modelo. Service was very prompt and on point.

Liz R.

Yelp
Randomly decided to pop into this place as we were in Alexandria last night and in need of food and drinks. We were asked to head upstairs as it's a 2 level restaurant and bar and the first level was at capacity. We decided to sit at the bar and were immediately greeted by the bartender. The menus are QR code based so we pulled them up and gave the bartender both our drink and food selections. I went with a Mezcal based drink and my friend went for the jalapeño Margarita both of which were delicious and packed a punch. The bartender, although prompt, wasn't the most social and seemed to forget about us after our food arrived. My favorite taco of the night was hands down the Dilly Dilly which was a lightly fried fish taco. I would go back again just for that taco which is crazy! The Clucker was my second favorite with the Pomegranate being 3rd. We also had chips and queso which was decent although the Queso had an peculiar consistency. Overall this was truly a 3 1/2 star experience, however, 1/2 stars aren't an option and three stars just doesn't seem fair specifically because of the Dilly Dilly and the drinks so 4 stars it is.

Brittany Anne O.

Yelp
Really enjoyed our recent dinner here. We were greeted by friendly waitstaff and seated at the front table near the windows. It was late in the evening (about 8:15) and there were still many people in the restaurant. The variety of taco offerings was superb! A great mix of veggie, pork, chicken, beef and seafood tacos. The price per taco was fair - $4.25 each. Both tacos I ordered were flavorful with tons of filling. The Al pastor taco had pork with great seasoning and freshly diced pineapple. The bulgogi taco had tender beef and a generous amount of peanut sauce. We also ordered the queso and chips. Not the best queso I've ever had - but we asked for some jalapeños to mix in and that gave it the kick we wanted! There is seating at the bar or eat or have a drink and several booths within the restaurant. There are a few tables for outdoor seating as well!

Always a good experience at Don Taco! The bartenders are always on point and very attentive! The drinks are made with precision and care! This steak quesadilla is definitely top 3 for sure! The steak was tender and moist while the cheese pull had me in a chokehold!

Yelp
Naaa, I wouldn't recommend Don Taco, go to Taco Bell 2 blocks down the side walk. The ambience looked nice but when I think of Mexican food, I think of fajitas and margaritas. You don't see any of that in the photos. No Spanish music playing and no sound of fajitas sizzling. No food aromas either. I felt claustrophobic in there, as we was deciding what to order we was stirred around (in the way of others) by customers coming and going. They are not good for groups, no elbow room. Although you may see groups here, call before you arrive because they don't hold no more than what you see in the photo. I family of 4 1/2 (a toddler is the half) came to dine and the hosted looked at them like where y'all gonna sit? The food was no better than going to Taco Bell which my coworker insisted 3x's before we walked in. I got a burrito which lacked taste and flavor. As you can see in the photo, it lacked much to be desired for your taste buds. The meat which we both had agreed was old. My Puerto Rican coworker was insulted and would not be quite about how terrible it was and an insult to his culture dishes. He also mention cheese on his rice and that's not how it's served, he rambled on and on and y'all know men don't complain much about anything. I think that was the most he's said to me at one time the entire 6 days we worked together. He was pissed. I felt really bad for insisting we try them because he must have said several times that we should go to Taco Bell. Now I have no credibility with him when it comes to eating choices. We could have gotten better at Taco Bell seriously. Any who, a Door Dasher came for a pickup and the hostess tried to give him someone else's order twice. The third time he said that was not the name on his order, the young girl told him not to talk to her like that and not to get an attitude with her. I was speechless as she threw the food on the wait table. He didn't raise his voice, frown act rude nothing. Another thing my coworker was annoyed with about the restaurant.

Yelp
Tacos & Tequila I can't imagine an experience Better than this So my foodie friend found this location and recommended it I'm so glad this was recommended Let's start off with location Located in Old Town Alexandria so parking is a little challenging...but it showed to be worth the parking wait (street parking) They have Indoor/outdoor seating ( make a reservation) Open bar seating also Happy hour is 3-6...with a table seating limited to 90 minutes Greeted by the hostess.. pleasant I decided to sit at the Bar...my bartender was really friendly (plus) We ordered Chips & Guacamole... the guacamole was really good Mini empanadas... chicken and steak .... I really liked the chicken...steak wasn't bad They offer a spinach & cheese empanada as an vegan option The jalapeño Margarita...spicy strong and really tasty Overall I was extremely pleased with this restaurant I will return

Yelp
These tacos were absolutely delicious. I came here with my coworkers for lunch last week and we enjoyed it so much. I took pics of their food since we all tried different tacos. Everyone really enjoyed their tacos and had nothing but good things to say. We also got the churros which were delicious. The service was fast and friendly. They also have a rooftop that opens at 4 so I know the happy hours are amazing when it's sunny and nice outside. Anyway I'm sure we will be back for lunch soon.
