"This underground bar in Stoke Newington looks like the interior of our minds after watching a Sofia Coppola film—and the excellent mezcal-heavy cocktails scratch the same ‘we’ll be fun forever’ itch. There’s an abundance of pink feathers on the bar, velvet chaise longues, and the live DJ sets are the perfect combination of low light and high-energy tracks. Those who can, do, those who can’t, teach, and those who write about restaurants full-time must confess when a member of their team picks this flirty, frivolity-forward bar for their own 30th birthday party. Guilty as charged. What can we say, we like red fringing, spicy mezcal margaritas, and being ushered onto a mini dancefloor for a spontaneous boogie as a DJ plays something delightfully funky.
