I was very impressed with the food at Dong Bo Sung in Frisco. The quality has improved significantly compared to my visit a few years ago. Every dish was freshly cooked to order, arriving at the table hot and full of flavor. I highly recommend the Seafood Stir-Fried Noodles—if I remember correctly, it was item #52. The dish looked exactly like the menu photo, which was a pleasant surprise. The vegetables and seafood were perfectly balanced with the sauce, and the noodles were well-coated, making every bite delicious. The servers were attentive and friendly, frequently checking in on our table without being intrusive. The Jajangmyeon (black bean noodles) was served with a thick, rich sauce that had just the right consistency. The Kanpoonggi (crispy spicy chicken) was freshly fried and stayed crispy even under the sauce. The vegetables in the sauce were finely chopped, making it easy for kids to enjoy as well. You can also request it non-spicy, which makes it a great option for families with children. Overall, everything was flavorful, fresh, and served with great hospitality.

Google
Five stars all around. The fried rice and sesame chicken were delicious!

Mimi

Google
I got the black bean noodle and a black bean noodle with veggie and pork, both were good. Sesame chicken was okay. I would come here again for the black bean noodles

The indoor layout can be more organized, and no customer want to sit right next to messy unpack boxes. Noodle dishes are the highlight here, and this is a Korean Chinese restaurant. The price is overcharged regarding the quality and the portion.

Google
The Dallas Dong Bo Sung is pretty good but for some reason the Frisco location has not been up to par. My first visit in 2018 was the best one and it has just never been as good.. I've had black bean noodles that smelled inexplicably pungent, seemingly undercooked pork in tangsuyuk, fried rice with weirdly massive ingredients, hair in my takeout order, and spicy seafood noodles that I couldn't finish because it just wasn't very good. I still keep trying them again from time to time because I'm hoping their quality starts to match that of the Dallas location.

Google
I took a date. I had orange chicken and she had tofu. The servings were generous. We took food home. I will be back.

Google
Nice Chinese food everything is really good, the staff very friendly, I definitely recommend this place.

Google
This is great food! Wonderful service. Probably one of the best Chinese/Korean food places around. Friendly service and just exceptional food. I got confused with another location with a similar name but they are worlds apart.

Briana N.

Yelp
I think this might be my new favorite spot for jjajangmyeon! The noodles were so chewy and bouncy, the sauce was delicious, and we got refills on the radish and onions. The tangsuyuk was also pretty delicious! It was nice and crispy and the sauce was piping hot.

Shirley S.

Yelp
Overall, not bad! I liked their Ganjjajang a lot. Could be the best I've had in DFW so far (but still not as good as the one I'd get in Korea lol). Jjamppong was also pretty flavorful, not too spicy. Noodle texture was also satisfactory. I was not happy with the sweet & sour pork though - the batter was not crispy at all. The sauce was ok but because the pork itself felt soggy, didn't really love it. Service was great - the server lady was attentive and nice. It seemed like she speaks both Chinese and Korean fluently. Impressive!

Eunice K.

Yelp
I love eating the sauteed seafood on scorched rice! It's so delicious, and the rice is crunchy when you eat it as soon as the seafood is poured into the rice dish! I highly recommend this dish if you like seafood although it is one of the more expensive dishes. It is enough for 3 people in my opinion. The service is good, and the servers were quick taking orders. My family and I didn't wait long for the food to come out. It's a small restaurant with a designated area for large parties, and it's pretty quiet and a bit dim but gives a nice ambiance, I guess. There's a lot of parking, and the restrooms are clean but kind of smells like a hair salon. TL;DR: I love and recommend eating the sauteed seafood on scorched rice. It's quiet and there should be enough seating areas albeit it's a small restaurant.

Yelp
I was reeeally craving black bean noodles with sweet and sour meat, so we went here. It was quiet on Saturday night at 7pm so we were a little apprehensive but the food was tasty and the ambiance was cozy. The staff was polite and efficient. The portions are healthy. I would say two dishes feeds 3-4 people, so the value is quite decent. The flavors for both dishes were tasty but standard. They're not the best as other places in Carrollton but they definitely warmed my soul and satiated my cravings. The sweet and sour can be beef or pork, regular or spicy, and the jajangmyeon has regular sauce and +$1 options for seafood or minced pork+veggies. The sweet and sour beef we got was tangy and tasty, with deep fried beef and big, tasty chunks of pineapple, carrots and bell peppers. The beef was not super soft but it was also not gristly, so I was happy with it. Note - we got spicy but it wasn't remotely spicy. I don't know if they forgot to make it spicy or the spicy is really not spicy. I'll have to report back next time I go. The black bean noodle was tasty too. It came with pickles and raw onions and extra sauce on the side. The sauce was tasty, especially with the added texture of the pork and veggies. The noodles were reasonable and al dente but not super sproingy like how I prefer them. Overall the experience was good and we'd consider coming back. :)

Yelp
Very good!! We lucked up on Dong Bo Sung since the place we were initially going had a wait. We came here and were seated immediately. It quickly filled up after we arrived. We placed our drink orders, asked a few questions about the menu, and ordered. We had the fried dumplings, noodles in black bean sauce for 2, spicy chicken, and orange chicken. The noodles in black bean sauce could have been eaten by 3 or 4 people. It was a lot of food, and good food. Everyone enjoyed what they had and we have plenty to take home for another meal. We will definitely be back!

Suelynn N.

Yelp
The food was amazing! My friends and I did family style with Noodle with mixed seafood and veggie soup, noodles with black bean sauce, beef with scallions, sweet and sour sauce (the bowl), fried pork, and flower bread . Service was really good because there was only one or two employees running so it did take some time for our items to come but the food did come quickly. So service response time was appropriate. The decor is really cute but I forgot to take photos of them. The food is super amazing and I would totally come again with my family. They're also very dense food so come hungry! Parking is free and in front.

Cherry Y.

Yelp
My family's favorite Chinese Korean restaurant in Texas! Definitely give their jjajangmyun, or black bean noodles, a try --it's super flavorful and also huge in portion. I can't believe I've been "playing it safe" by going to franchise restaurants for my jjajangmyun fix. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in Carrollton!

Pritika T.

Yelp
The service was very smooth and they were so nice! We never tried Korean food before but the staff helped us get familiar with their options! We went for the Jajangmyeon and it was sooo good. I still think about it and I'm definitely coming back.

Haylee S.

Yelp
This is my family's FAVORITE place to eat! We'd always gone to the Dallas location prior to this one opening, but this location is so much cleaner and nicer than the Dallas one which makes for a better experience. Service is also fantastic at both locations, and owners and workers all seem to care a lot about good quality service. The Chinese-Korean food is absolutely amazing and hard to find elsewhere. I always get the Mapo Tofu (tofu with spicy sauce & meat), Black Bean Noodles aka Jajangmyeon, and Sweet and Sour Pork aka Tangsuyuk !! The Mapo Tofu is the perfect mix of spicy and savory and is great to eat with rice. The Jajangmyeon is amazing per usual, and the Tangsuyuk sauce comes on the side so that the chicken doesn't get soggy. Overall, 10/10!! Recommend this to all of my friends and family. Reminder: Portions are big - highly recommend family styling with a group.

Ike K.

Yelp
There aren't many restaurants that make Korean-Chinese black bean noodles around DFW so I was hoping this place would be good. Unfortunately the noodles here had a strange pasty taste and barely any chew, which ruined the whole experience. The tangsooyook was not crispy and the sauce was overly vinegary. I don't think the chef here knows what they are doing.

Eri H.

Yelp
I think this is a solid Chinese Korean place if you crave jjajangmyun, jjampong or tang su yuk. The noodles sometimes can be hit or miss. As our first time we came they were cooked perfectly but the last time we came for dinner it came out completely soggy! I appreciate that you are always seated right away. But from that point on service is almost non existent. Need to wait a lot to get your water filled or ask a question about the menu. But all in all a good Chinese restaurant and the portion of their food is generous too.

Kathleen T.

Yelp
I'm not sure how this place got such high reviews. The black bean noodles were bland and barely had any pork. I think they should just call it black bean noodles with onions. This would be more appropriate when I had like 3 pieces of of minced pork in it. Beef and broccoli also was bland and so saucy it looks and felt gross to tbh. Beef and Broccoli dish is a traditional dish that's supposed to be well seasoned and stir fried not watery. Portions were small for to go. I felt like I wasted $28 here. I won't be coming back again.

Elisa T.

Yelp
This was a long time coming, we've been wanting to find another black bean noodle spot that could even compare to paiks. Their crispy pork w sweet and sour sauce was super good! i loved how crispy the pork was and the sauce not being overwhelmingly sweet. The black bean noodles was also pretty good! Only complaint is that there was alot of onions in it than normal but it still tasted really good. The jjamppong was delicious for my boyfriend as well, he did ask for less spicy but seemed to be the full spice level but still good. I would definitely come back and recommend this place if you're ever in frisco! Keep in mind the hours on yelp are not updated they close at 8pm most days.

Tae Kyung Y.

Yelp
Dong Bo Sung is actually the second best jjajangmyun I've had in the US, right behind Paik's Noodles in Los Angeles. I heard the jjajangmyun scene wasn't too great in Dallas so I wasn't hopeful, but I was BLOWN away at how great this place was. We visited on a Thursday evening with a few friends and it wasn't too busy but still had fairly a good amount of people. It was my first meal of the day so I was starving. I ordered the gan jjajangmyun, my friend ordered the shrimp jjamppong and my other friend ordered the regular jjajangmyun. We also got a spicy pork tangsooyook to share. The food came out VERY quickly - tangsooyook took maybe 5 minutes. Everything about the food was great. Tangsooyook tasted amazing. The sauce was really good. I am a person who like dipping instead of it coming it out spread out but there wasn't an option. Despite that, it tasted GREAT. The gan jjajang was oh soooooo good. It was so delicious and the noodles were particularly GREAT. It had an interesting texture -- a good interesting and it blended really well with the noodles. I tried some of my friend's jjamppong soup and that was very good too. Our server was very kind to us and she kept asking us for water refills, danmooji refills. Overall this place was FANTASTIC. I'm so glad I found this place and I definitely intend on returning again.

Tamara N.

Yelp
SO GOOD! I got Dong Bo Sung for takeout and we were absolutely blown away. I ordered the black bean noodles for two, the sweet and sour pork, and the braised chili shrimp. The portion of the noodles could definitely feed more than two, but not only was the portion impressive, but the flavor was unmatched. This was some of the best black bean noodles in the area hands down! The chili shrimp was a surprise dish that was deliciously sweet and slightly spicy. The pork was perfectly crispy and topped with the flavorful sauce. A great experience and leftover for days for such a reasonable price!

Ernie K.

Yelp
Yikes. I used to love this place. What happened? Getting cheap with ingredients and doesn't taste as good as it used to be. Hope something changes and improves.

Leonard L.

Yelp
Wife and I came here for a lunch. The ambiance was nice. The service was punctual and correct. The egg roll was fair and the fried rice was okay, the chicken did not taste right like it was pre-boiled and dried and the broccoli beef was good but way too soupy.

Phil B.

Yelp
The people raving about this place must not be too familiar with other options around town for jjajjang and jjambbong. This place is terrible for those two dishes which are considered traditional comfort food/dishes. Jjajjang bean sauce was too concentrated and bland. Jjambbong bland and with no kick to it. Y'all are trippin, I won't come back here.

Jenny F.

Yelp
Came here with a group of friends after a movie. The food was fantastic and the service was amazing. We will definitely be back!

harold n.

Yelp
Not sure how this place got such good reviews. Ordered sea cucumber with beef and chicken to go a few months ago. And when I came home, it was missing the sea cucumber. That's literally supposed to be the main ingredient on the dish. Called and told them sea cucumber is missing, and their answer was they removed the sea cucumber from the dish a while ago. Asked them don't you think you should remove the dish from the menu or mention it on the menu that you removed the main ingredient? I mean, the name of the dish literally starts with sea cucumber. The lady just gave a an uncomfortable laugh, didn't offer refund. Will never go back.

Yelp
Honestly this restaurant is so good! It's a Korean style Chinese restaurant, and it's the best restaurant of this category that I've had in the Dallas area. The interior is quite nice. They have clean tables and nice decor. It's lit on the dark side to Mach the overall aesthetic of the restaurant. The service is nice. Nothing out of the ordinary but I have nothing to complain about. I came with my family of 5 people and we got 4 dishes to share and it was MORE than plenty. Their portions are absolutely gigantic lol. That makes their rather high prices seem very reasonable. The food is pretty great. They have great flavor without the food being too salty like in other restaurants of this style. The sweet and sour pork is nice and crispy, and the sauce gives it some really great flavor. The seafood jajangmyun is really good. The noodles are nice and chewy and the ingredients are very fresh. Overall the food is is pretty great and deserves a high rating. The big portions allow you to share with others and have enough to eat. This is great for family meals where everyone eats a bit of each dish. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area!

Mk T.

Yelp
Used to be really good black beans noodle n jjampong in Plano/Frisco area. So much better than the one in h-Mart food court. noodle used to be chewy n at the right texture. It is mushy now. Soft n overcooked. The black bean sauce that draws us to the restaurant used to be fragrant with lots of lard and onion . It has some still but it is just normal now. I guess standard drops so much. We will have to drive to Carrollton for good jjampong and black bean noodles.

Jessica L.

Yelp
Great place for jajangmien (black bean noodles) and jampong (spicy seafood noodle soup). Both dishes are good and large portions! Although, I wish the jampong was spicier. I ordered for take out and pricing was decent and worth it for the portions they give. If you like this combo, try it! My fav place for this combo has closed down unfortunately but this will be my go-to for jajanhmien and jampong. Till then, let's eat!

Sarrang P.

Yelp
Down one star cause the last 2 times I came back the food was a little bland and the pork in the sweet and sour ttangsuyuk was tough and not soft like it used to be the first time I came. Everything still tasted good but it doesn't seem too consistent. My original review: Honestly best place for some good jajangmyun and jjampong! The sizes are huge too! Definitely family style and pretty reasonable! My mom was telling me that this location used to be in harryhines but closed down and went somewhere else. I used to grow up going to that location and missed it so much.. when I found out they opened in the new Frisco Asia plaza I was ecstatic! I came here on a Monday night with the family and my bf and when we came in around 630 it was empty. However not a moment later after we ordered, the whole place soon became packed!! Once we were seated down, we got our drinks and menus very quickly. We decided what we wanted to order and our waiter came to us and took our orders. But literally not even a blink of an eye later... our food came out!! It was so quick I swear we waited like 1 minute! Super hot and steamy food.. insanely huge portions and sooo good. We ordered the dangbang jajangmyun (black bean noodles for 2) ; Jjamppong (spicy seafood noodles) ; and pork ttangsuyuk (fried pork with this sweet and sour sauce). They served the sauce on the side so you can eat it however you like. I personally dont like the sogginess it can get if you just pour the sauce all over, so I liked that I was able to pour little sauce and little pork into my plate and eat it slowly while it maintains that crunch! Anyways for 4 ppl it was a ton of food. We left stuffed. It would probably be just enough for 5 ppl to feel satisfied or 4 ppl to be stuffed Haha. Definitely give this place a try!

Monalisa Z.

Yelp
We passed by Dong Bo Sung many many times but never went in cause: 1) it's located in the booming part of Frisco which is famous for its expensive rent, we assumed it was pricy 2) it's Korean Chinese food, not authentic Chinese Chinese food. For you novice folks, Chinese food I every country differ.. just like Fortune cookie was created in America and not China. Therefore what DBS sells is black bean noodles, seafood noodles, tang su yuk (sweet and sour pork) Then my co-worker mentioned it wasn't bad. So on a Friday evening, we landed ourselves here. Tried: 1) Flower bread. 3/5. It's a deep fried dough. The outer part is too deeply fried that it becomes hard. I'm an Asian and it was hard to pick it up using chopsticks. My kid just stabbed it using chopsticks. The inside was softer but My family wasn't impressed. 2) Tang Su Yuk aka sweet and sour pork 3/5 $16.95 Forgot to ask them to put the sauce on the side. In a Korea there's a great divide between those who believe the sauce should be poured over the pork or should be on the side for dipping. The first 5 bites was ok, felt it was really good. But afterwards I felt it was too sweet, and regretted that I didn't ask for the sauce to be on the side. The batter itself was good and it was crispy. By the time we were 2/3 through it became a chore for me to finish this dish. 3) Combo fried rice 5/5 $8.95 Wow we were really surprised by how good it was. It says combo but really the toppings were seafood. Chunks of soft squid, shrimp and big pieces of egg were all over. Even my DH who normally turns his nose up when faced with a squid dish, actually devoured them. We joked next time we will just get the fried rice only

Jonathan K.

Yelp
Incredibly delicious food for a great price. I came here on a Monday night with my girlfriend and her family and when we got here around 5:45 we just managed to be seated before it got very busy with a bunch of families and larger groups. We ordered our food and the service was insanely fast. I'm pretty sure our food came out within 5 minutes of us ordering. The jjajangmyun was delicious and one of the better ones I've had in the area. It was also very cheap for the amount of food that you get so I'd definitely come again if my gf and I were craving noodles. The tangsuyuk was crispy and well fried. I recommend asking for the sauce on the side so that the pork doesn't get soggy and mushy. The sweet tangsuyuk sauce had the right level of sweetness and a good thickness to cling to the pork. I had a smaller bowl of jjambong and it was okay. Maybe I wasn't in the mood for jjambong that day but the broth wasn't as flavorful as I would have liked. Next time I'm craving jjajangmyun or tangsuyuk I guarantee I'll be back.

Siera M.

Yelp
I like your food very much! But can you fix your sewer in the bathrooms??? The odor is too strong!!! Whenever I visit the restroom, I totally lose my appetite. I almost wanted to throw up! You can block the hole or pour something in the drainage. I don't know but please, DO Something!!!

Tony P.

Yelp
Had dinner with family last night. We ordered noodles with black bean sauce, beef with broccoli and sautéed veggies with chicken. This is a Korean Restaurant serving Chinese cuisine, Korean style. The beef with broccoli has a lot of broccoli than beef. Taste great. The noodles are soft and tender and the black bean sauce blended well. Its delicious. The chicken sliced in chunks is seasoned well, sautéed with veggies. The veggies are fresh and sautéed well. It's delicious. Serving portions are good for two. Servers are courteous and helpful. Clean separate Men and Women's bathroom, no changing table.

Wang J.

Yelp
I love Tangsuyuk& Jajangmyeon ,Jjampong. But, this time we ordered seafood nurrongi and jangban Jajangmyeon. Seafood nurrongi was amazing and tasty. So crunchy and soft. We fully enjoyed. Thank you so much for being 20 more years business and great food. Will be back soon!

Leili S.

Yelp
We ordered the Black bean noodles for two and the sweet and sour pork for take out. First off, the lady at the front door, super unfriendly and just mean for absolutely no reason. The noodles were just absolutely disgusting, overcooked, and mushy. The black bean sauce was bland and just had no taste to it. they put so little of it compared to the noodles. The pork tasted meh, but it was the crappiest quality pork with that weird smell and after taste to it. The the sauce was meh barely any of the vegetables in there. I only gave it one star and that's for the amount of food you get for the price point. But I guess quantity over quality? Not for me tho. We've had both of these combos at other restaurants in Carrollton all the time, and they're nothing like what we had yesterday.

David A.

Yelp
Small, excellent food, large portions, soothing background music. Fairly limited menu but the good dishes are there. Our server described it as Korean inspired Chinese. Definitely coming back.

Deedee S.

Yelp
Seriously good jjampong and jjajangmyeon. The jjampong broth is very flavorful, and they were able to make it non-spicy. I first thought the price was a bit high, but for the portion I think it's very fair. Portion was ridiculously generous. We ordered jjajangmyeon for two which came in a huge plate, it should've been called jjajangmyeon for FOUR. Why three stars then? My issue is with our server, who made a mistake with our order due to language barrier, and tried to blame us for it. I understand her position, but there was simply no need to be rude about it.

Jane G.

Yelp
THIS PLACE IS DELICIOUS! Dong Bo Sung offers Korean dishes with a Chinese inspiration. We were a group of four and ordered: jjajangmyun or jiajiangmian (noodles with black bean sauce for 2) ulmyun (seafood udon noodle soup) ssamsun jjampong (spicy noodles with seafood and vegetable soup ? I'm not sure about the English name) I was stuffing my face with all three of these dishes. The noodle soups come in a HUGE bowl and are such a generous serving size. The noodles are cooked well and the soups are so tasty and flavorful! They come with generous amounts of seafood as well! My favorite dish was probably the jjajangmyun (black bean sauce); the sauce had such a deep, rich flavor, and the noodles complemented it so well. It's a classic dish, and they executed it so well! All the portion sizes are large, so it's the perfect place to come for a family-style meal. My stomach was getting so full, but I couldn't stop eating. It was just so good! I'm really impressed with this restaurant, and I can't wait to come back!

Anita T.

Yelp
My fiancé and I came here to grab some dinner after a few errands. We ordered a fried chicken with garlic sauce and a black bean sauce with noodles for two people. The food was presented in large portions, which we were pleasantly surprised about...however, when we actually ate the food, it was super bland! We were very disappointed especially since it looked delicious. There wasn't enough flavor or salt, and we didn't finish our food. For the hefty price we paid, we were hoping to get something good, but our stomaches were left unsatisfied. We can give a 5/5 for customer service though! The waiter and waitress were extremely nice to us and kept checking up on us. We won't return back because the food wasn't up to our standards.

Tammy N.

Yelp
On the pricier end of the spectrum for this type of food But FLOWER BUNs ALL DAY!!! Crisp soft fluffy

Ajoura R.

Yelp
Let's talk about how HUGE this dish!! It is a crazy amount of food for such a low price! But it's not just portion, the flavor, the noodles, the broth, everything! They do bring scissors for the dish because since the noodles are made there, it is super longer and it's used to cut the noodles as you're eating!

Minzie P.

Yelp
Best jjajang myun and tangsooyook around town! Definitely going back for more tasty food.

Yale K.

Yelp
Best jjam pong in town. It has the depth of flavor without being overly spicy to compensate for something that is lacking. Jja jjang myun is pretty decent (for Texas). I'll be coming here on the regular with my family. Reminds me of home (Southern California). We got the mapo tofu and my wife liked it. It was a little too un-authentic for me but I'd still order it to go and eat it as a late night snack. The portions are huge. I'm so grateful this place is in Frisco. It's great to see decent Asian places make their way up to Frisco rather than having to drive down all the time to Carrollton. It gets a five stars for quality of food and service within this geographic scope.

Rujira N.

Yelp
Well I like their foods Love the spicy soup and the spicy seafood noodle ( don't remember the names )

Rog C.

Yelp
I could understand the loss of business due to COVID-19, but taking advantage of your customer is not acceptable. As photo below illustrates, that's an order of sweet sour beef which is $28.00. Food is about half of what it was previously and even sauce was given only 2/3 of what it was. Unbelievable...... I could understand the struggle but shouldn't take out on your loyal customers.

Patrick C.

Yelp
There should be another category for Korean Chinese food because it's different than traditional Chinese food. Food is tasty, but not what I was expecting when I came with the family. I'll be the first to admit I don't eat a lot of Korean Chinese food, but I believe if you like this style of food then you will enjoy this place. It's very clean and food came out fast.

Sophia C.

Yelp
We tried dine-in this time, and it was much more of an enjoyable experience. The portion sizes are very large here, so don't feel you need to order one dish per person. The appetizer bread/bun/roll is AMAZING here. It's a must try- it comes with 10, so be ready to take some home. We ordered the sweet sour pork with veggies and noodle with black bean sauce with ground pork. This time, the onions were super thinly diced. I felt that the ingredients used to make the sweet sour sauce were not fresh as one of the cucumber pieces I ate tasted very old. The black bean noodles were still not as flavorful as I'd expect it to be. I was reminded that the onions used to make the sauce must be sweet, or else, the dish is no good. This may have been the key issue this time. The sauce tasted better than when I ordered it to go last time, which I thought wasn't very fresh. This place was pretty packed for a Monday lunch today. The owners speak Korean and Chinese, which was very impressive. I'm coming back here for the appetizer buns for sure and hope that they use fresher ingredients moving forward.

Prisella C.

Yelp
This is one of many new restaurants in this area. So many different choices but glad we picked this one! Their menu had a variety of dishes sure to please a variety of tastebuds! I'm obsessed with garlic and chose the friend chicken with garlic sauce. The chicken was perfectly fried and the sauce was very flavorful. I personally would've appreciated more of a garlic flavor but that may just me me. The chicken with vegetables was fresh and delicious. My dad liked his seafood with noodles dish. They even gave you scissors to cut the noodles! The sesame chicken was also tasty. We were very satisfied with the quality and taste of the food! We went on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't busy. We had amazing service! Prices were very reasonable and portions are generous! We'll definitely be back when we're craving yummy Chinese food!

Mellody N.

Yelp
Their black bean noodles and tangsuyuk were tasty and the portions were so big! Definitely coming back again when I'm in the area.

James L.

Yelp
Good jjm. We come here every few months and enjoy the large portions with our family members.

Sunny C.

Yelp
I was excited to check out the second dong bo sung and the tastes were similar. It was a bit disappointing for not having kimchi though.

Yelp
Order to-go! Good food, very good value depending what you get (seafood soup comes loaded with seafood, try it). Black bean noodles also delicious and savory. I've already ordered many times with my friend (he's korean and I'm chinese... this is korean-chiense restaurant and we're both satisfied)

Yelp
A great place to enjoy Korean-Chinese food. The jjampong (spicy seafood soup) and jja jjang myun (black bean sauce noodles) is on point with the right kick of spice! Other great items include sizzling rice with seafood veggie mix, tang soo yuk (sweet sour pork), yang jang pi (veggie, pork, seafood with sheets of clear noodles in hot mustard sauce), and kang poong gi (sweet sour chicken). The owner is friendly with a great staff. As others have mentioned, the Frisco (this) location tastes a lot better than the Royal Lane location. Different technique vs recipe? Dunno but is definitely different. Frisco jjampong has more of the "fire mhatt" ( spicey smoky fire roasted taste) and the other location has an honestly more chicken (and bland) broth essence. Totally different flavor profile that for my taste makes/breaks a jjampong dish. Frisco location aligns more with my taste. At this point, my favorite place for the jjampong/jja jang fix. Although I think covid-19 has affected business as I noted during my last visit, the taste seems to have shifted; I hope they do not resort to poor ingredients or different techniques - so support this great establishment if you can! My star rating scale 1 - Stay home and cook or go fast 2 - You are buying AND I am crazy hungry 3 - Decent or I am hungry 4 - Tasty - Yum Yum! 5 - Is this manna from heaven!?!

Yelp
The best Chinese food I have tried in a long while. The dishes were huge and fresh and light and so flavorful. The service is outstanding. Very reasonably priced. Bring your own booze. No cork charge.
