For simple Neapolitan fare with a big dose of folklore.

We were welcomed in as soon as we stopped in front. The place is small with lots of tables, but we managed to sit comfortably. There was no written menu, we were asked if we want pasta or soup. After the first course we had options to choose from fish or meat. Both the pasta and then the meatballs were delicious. It feels very authentic and homemade. Altogether I can recommend it, because it wasn't expensive and it was a nice experience. My only issue would be that the portions were a bit small, so perhaps plan ahead to get some dessert after.

If you like a cosy, calming dining experience with homemade fresh food this is certainly the place. Fast and friendly family service with few options and to the chefs preference. Not to be disheartened, the food was extremely flavorsome with few ingredients. I’d definitely say ignore the bad reviews stating that it is a ‘scam’. Clearly no appreciation for freshly homemade food. This is a place where one can appreciate true traditional family Neapolitan cuisine, which from what I can read, only a few understand.

A true hidden secret — it feels like you’re eating with family. In fact, it’s probably best not to talk about it too much! 😄 There’s no printed menu; the lady simply comes to your table and tells you what’s cooking that day. Everything is fresh, homemade, and deeply rooted in local tradition. We had a delicious Genovese pasta — slow-cooked onions and beef, a typical dish from Naples — as well as tender sardines and flavorful meatballs. The atmosphere is warm and unpretentious, and the place is clearly loved by locals. If you’re looking for something truly authentic, this is it.

It was as authentic neapolitan experience, as it can be. Place is really cozy, feels like home. Customer service is friendly, but it's little hard to communicate in english. It was not cheap, but we left absolutely full. Also you have to prepare to pay with cash. Anyway, it was worth it! I recommend it to everybody, who wants to experience true Naples!

stumbled across this place by pure luck. We were there when it opened at 1300 (by 1320 it was full). Set menu (with 4 choices) fantastic value and full of flavour. Well worth going to but be there as it opens or you'll be waiting a while. Only a few tables. V good value - 80 euros for four people (1st course, 2nd course and side dish), one desert and one large carafe of wine

The BEST food I’ve had in Italy! They’re a small family owned restaurant and just bring out what they’ve made fresh for the day. I couldn’t recommend this place enough!

The place has 8 tables and it is cramped. You can barely move your chair. There is no written menu and you will be asked for some options for starter and main course. The food was in general was simple and to our liking but portions were rather small. The waitress was nice, the guy at the entrance not so… the problem with this place is, that they seem to charge tourists more than locals. It was overpriced for what it was and i’m sure, no local would pay this price for a simple meal.

Excellent!! Authentic Italian food in a tiny, little Osteria run by One family. Do not pass this by! It's a fixed price menu with 3 courses and dessert. Every dish was better than the next!! The Pasta Alla Genovese was the best I've ever had. Go! You won't regret it!
