Wonderful winery and wonderful guide Julia, who explains everything in detail and seems to know everything about Sicilian wine. Thank you very much for the fantastic program. My wife and I were absolutely delighted with the tasting. I want to note that the tastings are different and at different times, so you need to book them in advance on the website.

Visited Donnafugata winery during a trip to Marsala in September. First of all I must say that the staff is amazing. I requested a last minute tasting and there were able to accommodate me. On the phone as well as in person the staff was friendly, welcoming and very professional. The actual winery is modern, beautiful and full of artworks. The tasting tour provides a comprehensive history of the family and winery and visit of the grounds. Good to know that there are no vineyards as part of the visit. The tasting was limited to 4 wines accompanied by delicious bouchée and it was good to give you a quick overview of standard wines (note that Donnafugata does not make Marsala, if that is what you hoped to taste you may be disappointed). Already being familiar with the Donnafugata wines, I would have like a more focused / specific tasting. The one thing I liked less is that is that the tasting took place in the wine shop and the back and forth of people coming in was a bit distracting particularly when it was a large group. Overall I would definitely recommend visiting Donnafugata to taste delicious wine if you pass by Marsala.

Incredible tasting experience + paired lunch! Nicole was one of the best winery guides we’ve ever had! So knowledgeable, engaging, customized to what we wanted to talk about, and funny! The food was phenomenal (incl the vegetarian pairing for one of us) and the range and quality of wines from a family-owned vineyard is impressive. Also, the labels for the wines are standout beautiful - all done in collaboration with an Italian artist. We weren’t expecting to buy any wine…and we bought a lot!

We had an interesting tour and tasting. We have been on many wine tours, but are just learning about Sicilian wine. Because Donnafugata has wineries in four places, by visiting the Marsala site, we were able to learn a lot about the different soils and varietals in Sicily.

We booked a winery tour (Sicilia da bere) online in advance. Very easy booking system for a tour in English costing €30 each. There are no vineyards here but the grapes front their four estates on the island come here to make wine. Tour of cellars and tasting of 4 wines. This company supplies wine for the Dolce & Gabbana brand as well. Unless you're driving there is no readily supply of public transport to this place. Not a lot of taxis around and weren't sure when the occasional #15 bus passed by and where it stopped. We walked - its about 10 to 15 mins from train station.

By sheer coincidence my favorite Sicilian wine had a winery in Marsala just a short walk from the marina! I was there for two days and had to visit. Unfortunately though I didn't get to try any wine tasting or the brunch that they offer as they were full but, we were still able to have a tour guide show us around the winery and explain in English which is very nice. The giftshop has so much Donnafugata wines that I'd never tried before, it was amazing. We even managed to see one of the winery founders, signora Gabriella who came by the gift shop to say hi to her employees. Just goes to show how appreciative these people are and that they really like to be hands on. Well done 👏

Nice place for a tourist style wine tasting. Grounds are nice, your tour gives you an overview of wines and regions. Not a place to taste wines for serious wine tasters, too limited and restricted to understand the collection.

Whenever you're traveling to Sicily it doesn't matter. You must pay a visit to this winery. They have the best Passito di Pantelleria (zibibbo) I ever tasted: the Ben Rieu
