Got a quote from another shop for my AC and they quoted me $4000. Although Donovan’s was a month out on getting my car in, I waited. They were able to fix my AC for under $600! They were honest and had my car fixed in a day. We will not be going to any other mechanic!

If you think you're having car issues, go ahead and get an appointment scheduled because Donovan's gets busy. But we think he's worth the wait! Extremely nice, competent and courteous people!

First time using Donovan's and will definitely use them again. They are honest, genuine, and trustworthy. They provided detailed analysis and cost of repair and followed through with no add on charges.

Absolutely outstanding service by automotive experts. Being from out of town I made an appointment in advance and they were able to find time to help me out, even though they were extremely busy. Straight shooters here, no games or questionable practices. They may not give you good news, but you can count on fair, accurate information from them. They charged me for one hour of labor instead of 1.3 like "the book" says, because they finished in an hour. I highly recommend this establishment for your automotive needs! If I know I will need my vehicle serviced I will try to schedule a trip here to get it done.

Another garage in town kept my car for two weeks without even looking at it. As an educator I had to start school and was stressed about renting a car I couldn’t afford. I called Donavan’s, had it towed to them and explained my situation. They had it repaired in time for school at less than the price quoted by the other garage. I’ll never use anyone else for anything! So grateful!

If you want an honest, fair mechanic, this is the place. They won't tell you to fix things that do not need to be fixed. I'm almost 60 years young and this is the first mechanic shop I have ever used that is honest and reasonably priced. You may have to wait a couple of weeks but that is the proof they are good, if you can obtain an appointment with any professional in less time, it is because they are NOT good.

I had multiple issues with my vehicle including a bad alternator and vapor canister. During the repair of these issues there were some other codes that tripped. It would have been easy for them to recommend replacement of more car parts and I wouldn't have known any better. Instead, they brought the car in and found that these other issues were simply tied to a couple loose connections that they tightened up for me. I'm appreciative of their honesty, quality of work, and fair pricing!

After getting quoted 4,000 for ac repair I went to Donovans they where honest and.let.me.know what they thought was wrong and gave me options ac is working and saved 3,500 honest mechanic hard to find will defiently be back thank you very much

Old school and respectful. A fraction of the dealers prices and honest with you. They have worked on my F-150 and my wife's Infiniti and have saved me a fortune vs. the dealerships .

I own 4 cars and have taken them all into Donovan's for the past 16 years. As someone who can make some repairs on his own cars, I know if what I am being told is correct and priced correctly. They have always been upfront, told me when I don't need something, and have been very pleased with the cost. They have such a great reputation they are often booked out for a week or two, but having it done correctly without worrying makes up for any wait.

This business is beyond honest, reliable and amazing! I cant say enough. Today I thought i needed brakes, they had checked it a few months ago. But at my cars exam today John said Not yet!!! What mechanic shop does that? Checked my car over so carefully and gave me a thumbs up. I am shocked to walk away with a 24$ check up fee and brakes at another 10,000 miles! Im newly single and my former husband did all my car work. Id take Donovans TLC over the former, any day!!

I love this place and I'm really glad we found them. my daughter goes to school up there and we live in St. Louis. it's so nice to have a mechanic that we can trust to take care of her car.

So glad I found them! Another car service shop told me I needed to replace all four brakes. They couldn't guarantee a time or even a specific day the work would be completed; but, I couldn't be without my car for a few days. So a friend recommended Donovan's. I dropped my car off the night before. They called me mid morning to say my brakes were fine! Granted, I don't know much about cars, but that is no reason for the first shop to take advantage. Yes, I am a woman. I'm beyond irritated to think that is the reason for lying about the brakes. So, I have found an honest car repair shop and am very thankful that one really does exist. I will always take my vehicles to Donovan's.

I had a special situation and as a long time customer they were able to help me out. Their service is great. Their people are great. And their Prices are great. What more could you ask for?

Donovan's took care of some work on my Corvette, I had a few issues and Pat the owner was out of town. As soon as he got back he called me, was helpful and wanted to make sure that I was taken care of.

Found this company many years ago through my ex. They have been and always will be my auto mechanic go too. Exceptional service, extremely fair and honest. I never have to question their motives or suggestions. Family owned and operated, you can not go wrong with this group!! Are you kidding! I could not believe how good these guys were until I went there. Not only did I step back in time, I was in the company of pros.

I have been here twice and been treated with respect and kindness both times. As a young female I at times feel afraid that I will be taken advantage of due to my lack of knowledge about cars. But I have been very satisfied with my service each time I have been to this establishment. I highly recommend it if looking for a honest car repair establishment.

Pat Donovan and the boys are the best in town. They have always gotten us in and out. They are very friendly towards the cutsomers. They even give you a ride to where you need to be if your vehicle has to stay longer. They just finished remodeling and the place looks great. You can always see a smiling face on Pat from the time you walk in til the time you walk out.

What a wonderful experience! A dealership told me we needed a lot of work on my car. My friend highly recommended this place so I took it to Donovan's for a second opinion and yep you guessed it, didn't need half of what the dealership told me. Honest, fast and most importantly good work!

I was told by my dealer I needed a new tire because it had a split in the sidewall. That means TWO new tires. Goodyear said I need all four tires because it's all wheel drive and all 4 tires must match. Donovan's ordered me two new Toyo tires to match those already on my Toyota but when I went to have them installed I was told I had over half the tread life left and didn't need tires. The "sidewall split" was nothing of the sort and the slow leak in the tire was merely a small nail in the tread. The tire was removed from the wheel and a REAL tire patch put inside and reinstalled on the car. For $19.14 !!! Donovan's Service has an honest and knowledgeable staff and at the same location for 79 years. Small Businesses Rule! Thank you Pat and your staff. We will be back!
