The donuts are so good. Soft fluffy and tasty. Crunchy outer crust and soft pillow like centers. I absolutely love Family Dounts. I normally get cinnamon roll with maple top and blue berry old-fashioned. So delicious, so good.

Great selection of donuts and very friendly staff! Great prices! They always treat you like family.

Definitely don't sleep on the blueberry cakebatter donut. Excellent selection and if you go early enough you get the small town conversations with early rising retirees.

Delicious donuts! The old fashion donuts with chocolate frosting are AMAZING!!! Our family loves them! The blueberry old fashions and glazed old fashion are great too! And the regular old fashions are great with hot chocolate. Truthfully, we have never had a donut we didn't like from Donut Family! Highly Recommend!

Stopped at a 7-Eleven and their donut cabinet looked so good, I opted to find a real donut shop. Bonus! They had my favorite donuts! Inside was clean, I was greeted and helped quickly and in a very friendly manner. The chocolate crullers are very fresh and a decent icing with a good chocolate flavor. If I'm ever in Oakdale again, I'll swing by.

I crown thee, best in the area! Recently popped in early and was not dissapointed. Plain Cake light and fresh, Maple Bar large and light, and fresh, Sugar raised super fresh! Friendly service with beautiful music playing softly in the background.

I've been here many times in my life and the doughnuts are great. The service is so great that I get an extra free doughnut or doughnut holes every time I come. Very good ambiance for a doughnut place like this.

Donuts are cheap and amazing! Apple fritter are the slightly crispy type which is favorite kind. Employees were super polite and hard working.

What donut place doesn't have lemon fill ? Ugh. Good fluffy donuts but they didn't have lemon fill. Parking shares with the other stores in the strip mall. Prices are decent but I got a maple bar and a glaze donut for 2.25. I believe this might be one of 3 donut places in town. There isn't much else, they have donuts and hot coffee.

Place used to be really good but every time I've gone in the last 2 years the donuts seem to be a day old and not very good

These were my family's go to donuts when I was a little kid, I loved the apple fritters and the old fashioned. I'm glad they are sill around! I was just watching a CBS Sunday Morning story about CA donut shops. I wonder if they were part of that story. Either way, good for this place being an institution for so many years!

This place has really great donuts: my kids love the donut holes and my husband loves the simple ham and cheese croissant. Everything is made fresh daily and the woman and man who work in the donut shop also own it. This is a LOCAL business ran by a little family who live in Oakdale; putting the American Dream in action. All of the negative reviewers on here are full of crap- honestly. These people are and my neighbors and are super clean and GREAT people. Support for our local business! There are a lot of regulars and high school students who come here on their lunch. Super yummy and good prices!

This is the only place my youngest son would ever eat donuts from since he was little. He is 21 now and still feels it's the only place to go. My dad used to buy the boys donuts once every few months when he was alive. It was special for them. They have a great selection, they are always friendly and every morning it's super busy. I think consistently good experiences say more than one or two bad experiences. No business is perfect. It's just right for the Reeves/Gardner family.

I love this place! I always make it a point to buy my husbands favorite apple fritter from this place whenever I'm in oakdale and everytime I need donuts for a business meeting. Patrick and his wife are great people, they care about their customers

Shouldn't give a 1* review for your customer service experience. These guys are Asian so don't expect to have your a $$ kissed at the door. However, if you are looking for the best donuts in the area you have found your place.

Long story short, I'm pregnant and was craving donuts and my 4 year old son was excited to have them for breakfast. Their management sucks, they didn't know how to charge the debit card with the new chips inside so ended up waiting for them to try and do something for about 25mins and I got embarrassed, upset because they were walking around and handling other costumers while they didn't know what to do with me and I ended up coming home with no donuts....

I saw the Yelp reviews and was completely turned away from this place. Until my wife's mom said that it's the only place she goes too, got a dozen this morning. Great selection of doughnuts and fresh. This is my new spot when im at the in-laws. Not gonna lie though, did kinda run into trouble with the debit/credit card machine but whatever I ended up paying cash. pick and choose your battles!

Went in early morning and while we waited for service my wife and I seen a cockroach in the glass where the donuts are. We left and will never go back.
