This place lives up to its name. I have now been here 4 times and I just can't stop buying these delicious donuts. Its even better than my favorite donut shop back home in Ohio. I got the glazed with chocolate icing today and a sticky bun. The other day I got a couple double chocolate and they were still warm. I think they are the same donuts at Disney Parks at the Joffreys coffee stands and at Universal at Lard Lad in the Simpsons land. They look and taste the same.

On the highway with friends they said you want to stop by donut King this was December the 5th 2025 around about 6:30 7:00 p.m. when I walked in the store I was like I'm going to need VIP here. Awesome customer service I can't remember the young lady name I know it begins with an S. Staff was very courteous and polite great customer service. That maple bacon donut I thought that was like a 🫤 I tried it and fell in love with that donut I had other variety but that maple bacon just took my breath away. So many varieties to choose from. There have mega Donuts you cannot eat that in one sitting. On way going back I got me another dozen I should have got three. Parking is almost like Walmart trying to find a spot. Great place

The Donut King in Groveland is incredible! The donuts are so fresh, tasty, and absolutely delicious. The variety is almost overwhelming but in the best way possible with so many unique flavors and classics to choose from. The service was great, super friendly and efficient, which made the experience even better. A fantastic spot for anyone who loves donuts highly recommended!

We love Donut Kin donuts, probably a little too much. Great variety, sizes and flavors. My favorites are the chocolate mint grasshopper and maple frosted doughnuts. My grandkids loved the sprinkle covered frosted.

Free and easy park just steps outside the door but after eating just a few bites they should make it at least a mile away with the amount of sugar and grease. Loved the staff could not be nicer but we were looking for a baked old fashioned donut ended up with a plain and got talked into a double chocolate, which is a chocolate cake donut dipped in glaze, then has a dark chocolate topping. Too much, kinda sickening. Just stepping inside you can smell the cheap sugar but get excited for the possibility that you had as a kid. So many people at work swear by this place, absolutely love it! I just don’t think we have the same stomach. Again, not trying to be a snob, the folks that work here are a delight, bake fresh all day long, just not my bag. Take it for what it is.

Yum! Yum! A large variety of doughnuts and so fresh. The Staff was friendly. This is a local bakery that has some fun flavors- we try different ones each trip. Grab a dozen and be adventurous. They are fresh and delicious. There is a couple tables inside if you want sit and enjoy. Easy access and parking- quick service but be prepared for a possible line. Restroom was clean.

Wow I was super impressed with the large selection of specialty donuts that Donut King offers that you will not find in any of the chain donut businesses around here. These types of donut shops are far and few in between where I am always compelled to visit a business like this and give em a try. Glad I did in this case as these are excellent donuts. They are fresh, large, well made, reasonably priced and most importantly oh so tasty. For my first visit here and definately not my last, I got a strawberry frosted coconut topped donut and a strawberry frosted "Pebbles" donut. So so good. The shop itself has kind of a worn look to it and a ho hum appearance from the outside but don't let that fool you as these are seriously good donuts. Also the Staff is super friendly and very patient as you try to figure out what donuts to get (Too many good looking donuts to choose from) . Overall if you are a fan of well made donuts and unique donut varieties than this is a must visit if you are in the area. Five stars all day long and twice on Sunday (:

If you're looking for amazing donuts, go no further! Donut King is a staple of the community. The donuts are made fresh every day. When you walk in, a smell hits you that is reminiscent of any amazing bakery you've ever been in. The staff is amazing, super friendly, and they've got an outstanding selection. We have come here multiple times and we cannot wait to come back!

Love Donut King Winter Park. Have been going for years. I do hope that something isn't changing there though. It's kind of different lately. Customer service is slightly different. And there is blaring Spanish radio playing. Very loud. I like to sit and enjoy a donut sometimes but it's not so enjoyable with the loud music now....I bring your donuts to all of my clients and they are now regular customers as well.

Not sure how I didn't notice, but they don't sell sandwhiches or hot food anymore sad.

Best apple fritters around and the prices simply can't be beat. I also grab some of the combo yeast donut holes which are a great deal and easier for on the go snacking.

It's donut king. Not perfect, not always great service (generally good), but the other evening they made me my favorite blueberry donut because they had none. I appreciate this move so much it inspired me to write this. Hey yeah, you'll look for napkins, they'll be out, you'll think it might be just a bit cleaner, good luck. But I think they are a fantastic establishment as a supply for my sweet cravings.

Came here for the first time today and the donuts are delicious. I got a glazed that was amazing, easily the best glazed donut I ever had. The selection was huge but I wanted something classic for my first time here. I also got a cinnamon sugar donut but unfortunately it was a little dry so I didn't finish it. I absolutely want to come back and try some of their other goods. My friends having been raving about this spot for years so I'm glad I could finally try it!

Decided to treat my kids to hot glazed donuts when we saw the lit up sign driving by. When we asked for the hot glazed donuts the staff member said they don't have any and that they are told to keep that sign on even if it's not true to bring in customers. It's upsetting to see businesses like this lie to get sales.

I was overwhelmed by options! The apple fritter was insanely large but it was perfectly crispy but tender with plenty of glaze on top. Hoping to try a bunch of the other options

What a very clean and maintained Donut King, automatically noticed this as soon as I came in. Came in and the gentleman was very welcoming and so polite. He was able to help us with all of our questions and gentle with his approach. The Donuts are always delicious here! Deliciously, beautifully and artistically made. The Donuts are reasonablly priced and they have great bundled prices. I love how they also have milk available to sidekick the delicious donuts. Overall, great service, delicious donut, clean establishment and expedited qualitative service.

In the mood for some donuts on a Sunday morning! Had to check out Donut King. We were not disappointed. Not only were they tasty but they were huge. We picked up 3 of the "large" glazed donuts for about $20. They were soft and tasty and one was plenty for 2 of us. I was lucky and walked right up to the counter but the lobby filled with about 10 people right after I walked in. A lot of options available but we opted for the glazed. The lobby was small as it is carry out only. It's a very small place and the 10 people filled it up quickly. The young lady at the counter was very friendly and threw in a good sense of humor. Started digging into the first donut the second i got back out to the car. Yum! We'll be back to try some new varieties next time. The lemon looked mighty tasty. Keep up the nice work and the huge donuts! Good food...good mood!

Hands down, the best donuts I ever tasted!!! Was recommended by a friend that lives in Clermont. They did not disappoint. Many varieties available and I have sampled a few, but I have to say that the hot fresh glazed top the list as my favorite!!!

I was in the area and my brother really wanted to try these donuts. Very affordable and tasty. I heard they provide all the donuts for Disney. Service was good and quick. Very helpful staff and we didn't feel rushed picking from the large variety.

My first try for Donut King in Minneola. Not Impressed. Placed a prepaid order for 4 flavors of donut holes 25 of each to be picked up the following day at a particular time. Have to say there was nothing wrong with the donut holes themselves, but the order was not what I had selected and I had to wait a half hour for it. I was just given two flavors for which they apparently they had ingredients on hand and only one flavor was one that I had selected. Then add to the fact that they were hot which would have been a good thing, except the donut holes were crammed into a box and were sticking together. I had to stop by my house and lay them out on parchment paper to cool a bit before I could re package them to take to the hospital as a gift for the nurses in a particular unit. The young lady who brought to the register for me said that she had called at 5 am but I did not answer, but in checking my phone log, there was no call to me at 5 am. So if you want to get what you pay for, this is not the place to go.

This location is open pretty much all day and they have a ton of different options For donuts and fritters and pretty much any other fried baked item you can imagine. They do sell out throughout the day on certain flavors but overall they always have a lot available. We ended up walking out with a half a dozen, including two of their maple bacon, One of their regular chocolates, aReese's, and two apple fritters

Decided to check out this highly recommended local donut shop. I was not disappointed. They have a very large selection with helpful staff and decent prices. I will have to put this location in my regular rotation

Oh lord have mercy!!!! It's donut King. This place has been a staple of the community for as long as I can remember. As a local born and raised, this place has been supplying donuts for a long time. As a local car club president, we visit multiple times a year, never any fuss from the staff or management, and never have I personally had a bad experience here. They supply disney and universal, that should tell you all you need to know. A million different varieties of donut, and not a single one of them bad! We stop by as much as possible to enjoy this sweet sweet treat. Thank you for always being here!

They had a doughnut that was topped with bacon the bacon was so old I gagged when I bit into it. It was absolutely disgusting. I will never go back to this place ever again in my life, these people should be out of business for the trash they sold me.

My friend who recently moved to the area told me about this place as we were heading back home to Texas. We were so happy because this little gem was fabulous! Their dough was so thick, chewy, and delicious! The best part was their selection. The variety of donuts they had available was astounding. For such a small place to carry so much was mind blowing. Their customer base must love them and consistently buy them out daily. We were very happy with all the donuts we selected. Thanks for the recommendation, Jimmy G!

On a scale of cotton candy to Brussels sprouts, Donut King is the cherry on top of an ice cream sundae on a liquid hot day. My friends and I stopped at Donut King on National Donut Day, and we each wanted a Boston Cream donut. We were floored when we walked out of the shop with the donuts for free. My friend lives in the area, and she raved about Donut King and how well-loved this shop is! Parking was easy, and all of the donuts looked insanely good. For me, it was hard to walk out with only 3 donuts!

Big fan of this place. It's ALWAYS busy, and you can easily see why. The customer service is on point. And do yourself a favor and get one of the giant apple fritters!!!

I come to this place often with family for our donuts which are great but the customer service is horrible. The young lady helping us this evening was rude and impatient. when we did tell her what we wanted she stated, "no" when we repeated it again she then said "no, the ones in the showcase I'll get last." I felt rushed because she kept asking if I was going to get 6 or more and quite frankly I would have gotten more. When I get home my nephews donut had a piece of plastic inside. The best donuts shop in Central Florida. Freshly made donuts and reasonably priced. Fast and friendly service. It has a small sitting area. Whenever we do business in Clermont, this our favorite spot to visit and enjoy our early morning treat. The coffee is hot and fresh. We wish they had a location in the Winter Garden, Horizon West area.

Cheaply made donuts. Lacking richness and flavors. Fillings are cheap, too. Watch they will also upcharge having bacon on the maple bacon donut despite being ordered in a mixed dozen. Ridiculous.

The flavors of donuts are on point try to get there at a good time as there might be a line out the door i've gotten one of their apple fritters, and it was the size of my hand stretched out. They can be hidden mess on the donuts sometimes to get a little stale or a little extra crunchy but they're usually on point I have to find out when their cook times are in get there at the right time. The donuts will be perfect and their variety of flavors is off the chart.

What a great variety they have! Love that this is a small place with great business hours. They are almost always open. Only down side is sometimes they are out of breakfast things, such as bagels, burritos and such. Donut wise they have everything you could want and more. I wasn't to impressed with their cinnamon sugar donut but everything else we bought was spot on!!! Definitely returning here for a late night snack or breakfast. If you are a sweets or donut lover this is the place for you!

Donut King, as the name would imply, specialize in donuts (or doughnuts, if you prefer that spelling). Donut King is by no means pretentious, but the donuts are definitely pretty stellar and something to check out if you are in the area. Donut King is the personification and proof that good things do indeed come from small places. I would definitely recommend here.

I was running an errand for a friend in Clermont and she told me I had to stop at Donut King. All I can say is wow! Donut King was opened by Lance Johnston in 2007 on Hwy 27 in Minneola Fl. Lance grew up New Orleans making donuts. You can see his New Orleans influence with menu items like King Cake. Donut King has a Winter Park location that opened 6 years later and their newest shop is in Leesburg. All donuts are made in house every day and the selection is vast and mouth watering.. In addition to donuts they have croissants, bagels, muffins, and biscuits. They also sell Castle burgers, wings, chicken baskets, shrimp, sausage, sandwiches, gumbo, and jambalaya. They are open 24 hours. As soon as you walk in the door you are hot with the most delicious scent. Everything looked amazing and it was so hard to decide. The maple bacon donut is very popular and they had other donuts topped with candy and cereal. I finally picked a huge cinnamon roll enrobed in icing for only $1.29. They claim to make the best baked goods you have ever tasted and they just may be right. This is another place that I am sorry I don't live closer to. Fortunately my daughter lives in Winter Park so I will be hitting up that location when I visit her.

This place is a must for donut lovers. I was blown away by the delicious selection. Stopped in about 3 in the afternoon, most donut shops would be pretty much sold out if d en open still. You can see by my pics, tye selection is amazing. i cannot wait to go back and get what looked like an actual sized bear claw!

We stopped by their original store located near Downtown Clermont a couple weeks ago and were amazed by the freshness and variety of their donuts. All of their donuts are hand made in-house and baked daily so you get the freshest donut experience every day!!! I really am just in love with this place. The prices on the donuts are absolutely fair and the product is incredible. The late night service is quite slow at times, but what can you expect for 12-2am times. It doesn't affect the 5 stars of this place. I've yet to try their hot foods, because I'm so zeroed in on the sweet goods. Highly recommend this place I'd you live in clermont / minneola area. It'll change your life. Maybe.

Great donuts, and we also got some breakfast burritos we tremendously enjoyed as well. A lot of food for the price. I have to address social distancing though. You can tell they've tried to implement it by the signs on the floor for the queue, but no one follows it and it isn't enforced by the employees. That, combined with the lack of mask requirement (since it's not required in Lake county? I guess), and the tiny size of the store, added to the rush of a Saturday morning, made this wildly unsafe imo. I want to come back because there are so many donuts to try, but I'll definitely watch for an empty storefront before I visit next time.

Was in the area they were out of the wraps & gave me (2) donuts raspberry & glazed. The truck didn't come yesterday so they were donating donuts for replacement wraps. The employees are always nice & friendly.

My coworkers have always been praising this place and I finally stopped by to try it in the morning. Walking in, they had a TON of different donuts and sweets! I went with the twix donut, since I thought that was a pretty unique menu item. The donut didn't exactly taste like a twix. I couldn't really taste the caramel that you would taste in a twix bar. Don't get me wrong though, the donut was quite good. I just would have liked more caramel on the donut. I would have given this place 4 stars, however the prices for their donuts are absolutely amazing! It was only $1.69 for this as well as any of their donuts. The donuts are quite large as well. I know at other donut places you would have to pay at least twice as much for a donut this size. Great place overall.

Best Donuts around town! Their donuts and pastries are always fresh because they sell out so quickly. I ordered 2 of my favorites, Almond Crunch,and I also got a Boston Creme and a Coconut Crunch. I got lucky because they were just from the oven!

Overall good donuts and a big selection of choices. You won't be disappointed. If you live close by it's worth the trip

Don't believe the website! I traveled almost 40 minutes to from the Disney area to the Minneola location at around 12:30 A.M., because their website says they offer a full menu "24 hours a day 7 days a week." When I arrived at around 1:20 A.M., the store was closed with people cleaning inside, and the sign on the front door shows the hours of operation as 4:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. Be aware. They are NOT open 24/7, as their website implies!

Whoops! I did it again. I bought too many donuts. It's so easy to do here cuz they all look so good. There's a reason they're called Donut King. And I am the loyal subject that follows the King.

We have been going here for years and always loved their donuts until the last few times. They have been repeatedly stale each time lately. We have bought them right when they opened to within a couple hours of opening and they were still all stale. Unfortunately we will not go back here again. It's too bad since they were such an iconic donut shop anywhere around.
