Doodle Pies

I've eaten here several times and they have the best chicken pot pie! This last visit, I was with my husband and we decided to get a 4-pack of their dessert pies. We chose the chocolate/peanut butter, the chocolate silk, a cherry cheesecake, and a key lime. No complaints about any of them! The staff is always friendly, efficient, and helpful. They have limited seating for dining in, but I've never had an issue with getting a table when I eat there. It's a great place!

Heard about this place on Instagram and my son asked to try for his birthday which was on Sunday...they're not open on Sundays so we went the next day and absolutely loved our savory pies 1st (he had brisket no mushrooms add bacon and cheese) followed by delicious sweet pies(he devoured his cookies and cream cheesecake pie)...customer service was great. The place was clean, very impressed with the short cook times and the crusts were flaky and perfect. Definitely going back to keep try more available options!

It was so good! Me & my wife came here after talking about it for a good year and was not disappointed. The owners were awesome to talk to and the Taco pie and key lime pie was so good!!! Cannot wait to return.

Wow, This is SO Good! My hubby and I got the Shepard's pie (switched out the ground beef for the brisket), Taco pie (same switch) and the Apple Twist pie. This is one of the best things I've ever eaten along with the owner makes me smile! She's is SO pleasant and such a nice person! I had to stop eating and write this review right now 😄 I highly recommend 👏🏾💜👏🏾

We have been trying to get here for 3 years for my husbands birthday since he doesn’t like cake and we usually do a pie. We finally got here and it was absolutely worth the hour+ drive! We got both savory and sweet pies and the entire family loved every bite! One of the owners was there and he treated us like we had been long lost friends that finally got together after years apart! The girl that was working was sweet and patient with my littlest too! It was such a welcoming environment and we highly recommend anyone to try it!

First up, the smoked beef brisket pie—think tender brisket, mushrooms, peas, carrots, and mashed potatoes on top with gravy. I took one bite, and my taste buds started doing a happy dance. Then I tried the barbecue pie—beef, BBQ sauce, onion strings—it was like a Southern cookout in pie form. And I couldn’t leave without dessert. The peach pie with vanilla ice cream? Life-changing. I’m pretty sure that crust has superpowers. But the real MVP here is Ann. She was so friendly and excited about me trying their pies, I almost felt like a VIP. Great food, even better service. This place is AMAZING! My husband and I saw Doodle Pies on TikTok and just had to come try it out. It was about a 45 minute drive for us, but it was definitely worth it! We had the shepherd’s pie, brisket pie, the peach pie and the owner, Anne gave us an apple pie to try as well, on the house! 😊 All of them were amazing. They also have plenty of other savory and sweet pie options to choose from. The staff was also so courteous and friendly! I 10/10 would recommend Doodle Pies. We will definitely make that 45 minute drive again! If I could give them 20 stars, I would!! 😊

First time going to Doodle Pies. We got a Chicken pot pie, Beef Brisket Pie, Cheesecake w/ Strawberry topping & Pumpkin Pie. All delicious and the service was great!

EVERYTHING and Ann was fabulous. The pies are FABULOUS, FANTASTIC and FILLING. YOU MIST COME HERE.... yea, statement made and I said what I said. Delicious, flaky, buttery and that's just the savory!! Service and ambiance was just what we needed today. Ann made it worth the trip and a heavenly sister in Christ. She has the gift of family and of spirit of a true host. I know you come for the food, but when you come here you leave blessed. I'll return! And hope to see you there.

A very cool concept. Make your own custom pie for a meal AND/OR dessert. A delicious delicate flaky crust using fresh ingredients makes this a must try. Being my first time they were very kind and explained the process. Pick your meat veggies some add ons like mashed potatoes and or gravy. I went with the Smoked Beef Brisket with mushrooms, peas & carrots in a delicious beef gravy. I was surprised it was at the table in just a few short minutes. Hot and delicious. For dessert a very nice strawberry and dark chocolate pie with a nice hot cup of Americano. Doodle Pies for the win!

They have the best chicken pot pie. My other favorite is the chocolate mouse. Great, friendly service. Can't wait to be back.

This place looked so promising. My friend and I placed our order and sat down to wait. Then some Influencers came in and went behind the counter to order and film some stuff. There was no one else in there but our order got stuck behind them filming and I think took at least 15 minutes. When I go home and ate my chilled chocolate cream pie, it had an odd taste that smelled like the oven smell of the store itself. I didn't enjoy the taste and threw the rest away. Hopefully this was an isolated experience and maybe it's just best to get a baked pie rather than one of the chilled ones in the case.

Finally was able to eat at Doodle Pies today, and I was not disappointed in the least! My wife & I ordered dessert pies (I will have to return to in the future to try their savory pies) - Peanut Butter Cheesecake and Berry-licious. They were so so good! Definitely worth many return trips! However, what made the taste even better was the phenomenal service. The proprietors were so conscientious and gracious! We felt like valued clients from the first moment we entered the shop. The restaurant was very clean as were the restrooms. Doodle Pies is located at the end of the shopping strip and has a very open atmosphere with so much natural sunlight entering through the large storefront window area. It's just a wonderful place! Thank you, Doodle Pies, for making us feel right at home with your great customer service and delicious food!

***FOOD: scrumptious yummy pies. SHEPHERDS PIE - delicious. Right amount of meat to gravy and wow what crust. Just like mom made. Couldn't take a pic fast enough to taste it. Smelled so good. CHERRY PIE - very very good. Tart and sweet. Haven't had a good cherry pie in a long time. Lots of filling and real cherries. You can make your own pies with various fillings at the counter. Have both savory and sweet pies. ***COST (OUT OF 4$) $9 for pie, family size pie i think about $30+ ***DÉCOR: cute cafe type decor. In strip mall with Publix . Lots of parking ***SERVICE: counter service. Sweet lady/owner. You can make your own with different fillings for savory and sweet pies ***RECOMMEND: HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Would definitely buy pies from here again

A fun idea that's very reasonably priced & absolutely delicious!! You can create your own sweet & savory pies! We didn't have any savory, only sweet. I do wish they had more vegan & vegetarian options but it is still a delicious spot with a lot of yummy ingredients!

Got the brisket and apple twist pie. So good and you have the option to customize and bring home premade pies.

Doodle Pie is amazing! I tried the passion fruit pie and it was absolutely delicious--perfectly balanced, fresh, and full of flavor. The owner and employees were so sweet and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Such a wonderful place, can't wait to come back!

Our first visit and well worth the stop!! Nice large parking lot in the strip mall. The store was nice and open with great lighting and very clean inside. The owners are husband and wife, Eric & Ann, and they were the nicest people. Eric told us how things work and Ann assembled and baked our scrumptious Rocky Road pie! She was so incredibly kind and friendly. We decided on the seasonal pie with chocolate cookie crust and peppermint which was tasty. I'm not a huge fan of peppermint in my desserts, so I'd have to say it was a bit too peppermint tasting for me but the chocolate crust helped cut the flavor. Now the Rocky Road was right up my alley. My daughter said Ann crumbled brownies into the pie crust, added marshmallows and walnuts and put the top crust on them baked it. We received it nice and warm and couldn't wait to enjoy it. As soon as we arrived home, we opened up the cute take home box and started to devour it. The crust was delicious, flaky and buttery. What we didn't do but was asked if we wanted it was add some chocolate sauce on top. For sure next time we will and will also ask if marshmallows can be added on top of the crust before baking it then drizzle with the chocolate sauce. The filling might be a bit rich for some, but I'm a chocoholic so it was amazing!! The only sad thing is that Doodle Pie isn't close to us here in Alpharetta but then again maybe that's a good thing. Lol. If you haven't stopped in, it's a MUST!!

This is a unique concept of a place. They have sweet and savory pies (we were there for the sweet). You can build a custom pie or get of of the premade ones. It seems like you can't go wrong with either option.

Ordered a chicken pot pie from here and it was delicious! Will definitely be back for it. Also ordered the blueberry pie, which was OK but the chicken pot pie was definitely the standup item.

Decided to try a local Pie shop for PI Day. This place seemed cool like they were enthusiastic foe PI Day. The line, of course, was long due to the theme of the day . . . I almost left, but the place was smelling good, so I decided to wait it out. When I got to the register and asked the cashier what the PI Day deals were, she said it was about 3.14 off the $28 dollar four pie deal. Wasn't anticipating spending much as these are mini pies. I was, however, able to sign up for their email list and got a 20% off coupon for the Pecan Pie I got from the case. How was it? The Pecan Pie was Pecan pie-ing! It tasted as to be expected. I warmed it up at the house later. The service was friendly and professional. The price point is likely adequate for the production and maintenance of the business. This place has a 100 A inspection score. Didn't get the date of the inspection, but that's good to know. Just stopped in for the excitement of the day. I would visit again another time to see if I could really be a fan.

Went for out first time today. I will say if you haven't been there you are really missing out. Freshly made pot pies made to order. They are filling and full of delicious ingredients. It's something different to eat and well worth the visit. We had a Chicken Pot pie and a Brisket Pie with mashed potatoes as a topping. Both were delicious! Grabbed a couple of sweet pies for dessert. We will be back!

I had lunch here with my daughter and we had a great experience. We got standard recipes from the menu - chicken pot pie and shepherd's pie. They were both very tasty and piping hot! We were able to watch them being made, so they were very fresh. The key lime pie was just how I like it - very tangy, with regard to service, we were greeted immediately and told how the menu worked. The restaurant itself is on the small side but doesn't feel that way - the windows and light colors inside make it bright and clean. I highly recommend Doodle Pies!

The concept to build your own pie is great! I also tried the chicken pot pie, it took longer to warm up at home than I was expecting but it was good. I would love to try their other savory pies. The staff were super nice and helpful!

Pie like you very much, Doodle Pies! My family and I didn't get dessert at dinner, so we stopped by Doodle Pies for something sweet. Doodle Pies offers sweet and savory pies as well as coffee. You can even build your own pie. The space was clean and bright. We arrived close to their closing time, so they were low on options. Understandably so. We went with a few of their signature pies; peach, pb&j, and rocky road. All the pies were delicious. However, my favorites were rocky road and pb&j. They were so creamy and the flavors were on point! Service was great. I would definitely return if I'm back in the area!

This is a create your own pie type of place and it's such a treat !! The food, restaurant, and service is so good here and I will easily come back again. You get to order any savory or sweet pie and then create your own pie with customized toppings you want. It's made in front of you and then baked and you can eat it there or take it home. It doesn't take too much time and every single pie I tried was so good. Lots of parking available and decent prices

We had such a good time here last night! Store isn't huge but the place is cute and well laid out. The pies were amazing and the customer service is even better. I accidentally left my hat and one employee even followed us into the parking lot to return it! We enjoyed one savory and one sweet pie each and were more than full. We enjoyed watching our pies be made and the wait was not long at all. Recommended to a friend and we will be back!

What a great place to go for pies on Pi Day or ANY day for that matter! Sweet and/or Savory pies available and they are all delicious! I had the savory chicken pot pie followed by the Anne's Rocky Road sweet pie for dessert. OMG! Both were FANTASTIC!!! Highly recommend!

We ordered 100 pies for a couple shower. Five different varieties and I don't know which we love more. They were amazing. Everybody talked about them. What a hit. Anne was fabulous to work with.

Chicken pot pie is four stars as is the apple twist pie. If you go here, definitely plan to eat there. Somehow, they can bake the pies in 8 minutes. I'm not sure if the pot pies are made to order, but the quiche and dessert are. I wasn't too crazy about the quiche. It's a bit rubbery and overdone. I'd describe doodle pie as the Chipotle of pies. You can pick all the stuff you want to go into your dessert or your quiche. Don't forget to order your dessert pie a la mode. The ice cream melting over the oven-fresh pie is delicious.

We like to explore new places when we travel. Stopped by to find pumpkin pie and was pleasantly surprised to find many more different 4" pies. Had lunch Shepards pie, chicken pot pie And pumpkin pies for dessert. If you are out and about stop by say hello to Ann. It's worth checking out this family owned local spot.

Wonderful, exceptional flavor, interesting and engaging food experience. Savory and Sweet Pies were spot on ! Can order in or carry out and cook yourself. So much to say . So little time and space. I now see they have a monthly flavor special in rotation! Wonderful concept, wonderful recipes! Wish for a 'lighter' sugar option on some of their obviously deliciously sweet fillings! (Cherry/Peach) Love to see what you could do with a Quiche menu!

This place was super easy to get too and plenty of parking. They are located in corner of shopping center and have cute seating outside as well. They are pet friendly. There was an adorable pup there. The location was very clean & I loved the decor, so cozy. From the moment we walked in everyone was so nice and patient. They answered all of our questions and helped us make a decision. We chose to split a sweet and a savory. We got rocky road pie without marshmallows and chicken pot pie with mashed potatoes and gravy. You can customize everything, which we loved!!! They were reasonably priced and super quick to make. It was so so delicious and tasted homemade. I loved it and would definitely back. I think the serving sizes are perfect own pie for one person as well. It's a great single serving.

Really cute idea. I ended up getting a large Chicken Pot Pie and a Coconut Cream Pie. I then took two Chicken Pot Pie's to bring home with me. The pies were very tasty. Would have loved if they were maybe a little bigger but all round tasty and would come again.

I had purchased a few pies here previously, but I think this is the first time I'm trying a quiche. The quiches are made to order. You pick your own ingredients, and they bake your quiche in three minutes. Everything tastes super fresh and very flavorful. You can watch them making your quiche while you wait. apparently the owner created the concept for this store. Both he and his wife work here, and they are friendly and welcoming. They offer a new pie of the month each month. They also offer seasonal pies. right now, the pumpkin mousse pie is the pie of the season. I'll definitely be back to try more of their pies.

This place is my go to for desserts now, not only are their chicken pot pies some of the best chicken pot pies that I have had, but the desert pies are customizable and great for everyone you may come with. I have been a few times, and the people who work in the cafe are always super nice, but the owners are amazing and I have seen them training employees, working along side them, and they have never shied from telling us all about how they combined their interested and came up with this idea for a little restaurant. The store has the option to sit in the cafe or take things to go, they even give you instructions for baking the items at home if you're taking it to go and cold. I had never been to a pie shop like this before, and I absolutely love it. To have a place where you can get a customizable dessert is just a fun option when there isn't a ton of other options like that. They also have an espresso machine so if you want a coffee and pie, you've found the place to get it.

All these 4 and 5 star reviews? For a tiny, dried out-pot pie with a fake crust? And one that cost $12? A tiny salad that costs $8? And a 6 oz coke that cost $4? I was ripped off once and I'll never go back.

Took a few home to go and we loved them all! The chocolate was probably the most liked among us, but we also enjoyed pecan, apple and berry. I think we will come and sit inside next time so we can take advantage of all the toppings-ice cream in particular! The staff was also very friendly and seemed very happy to be working there:)

We ordered the savory pies, haven't tried them yet, but the owner is very helpful with customizing and she was very patient, attentive, and friendly with us ordering. The restaurant is clean, orderly, and has a beautiful theme. We snacked on these sweet cold pies and opted to take the savory (warm/hot) pies home. The key lime is balanced, tart and sweet, with the perfect graham cracker crumble. Kiwi and key like syrup was amazing. The passion fruit pie is sweet and embodies passion fruit very well. It was great. 10/10 would recommend and come again! :) Utensils are cute and wooden.

First impression was The place is super clean. And The owner is very friendly . I got 2 pies filled with raspberry and blackberry topped with ice cream and whipped cream , both very delicious . Im definitely gonna keep coming back .

This was our first time at Doodle Pies and we will definitely be back! We loved all of the options for both savory and sweet pies. They have a selection of build your own pies were you can customize your flavors, or they have a menu of pies you can choose from. The cashier was super friendly and had great suggestions and we really enjoyed talking to the owner and hearing her heart behind her business. Our selections were build your own with a pizza type (meatball, black olives, mushrooms, marinara and mozzarella) and a Shepards pie type (ground beef, beef gravy, peas and carrots, cheddar cheese, mushrooms, topped with mashed potatoes and beef gravy). Each pie had so much flavor! It was cooked to perfection and was absolutely delicious! We shared a cherry pie for dessert, and it was the perfect finish for a great meal.

Fun, friendly, and cozy atmosphere! I came here with my mom for a little girls day and the lady at the front was so sweet. The service is super helpful. Our first time here she gave us tons of recommendations and reviews from others. I got the beef brisket pie with peas, carrots, and sun dried tomatoes!! Absolutely divine, the smoked brisket was so fulfilling with the vegetables added so much flavor, also very well seasoned!! I also got the passion fruit pie with whip cream and raspberries. The taste just melts so smoothly in the mouth!

Such a fun concept! Stopped in this past Saturday to get some sweet pies to go. They have some already made pies in the fridge case. But they also have the option to make your own pie! They have both sweet and savory, but we went with sweet. We went with the brownie base. You can choose as many toppings and mix ins that you want! I chose peanut butter chips mixed in and topped with cookie crumbs. They were ready in just a few minutes. They were so tasty! We took ours to go, but they also have indoor seating available. The people working were so nice and patient and explained the process to us when we walked in. A fun spot to try!

Absolutely and simply the best chicken pot pie I've ever had! Super delicious and crunchy crust, tasty fillings that must be fresh and tasted sooooo NOT processed. What a pot pie should taste like but I never knew. Thank you for elevating this comfort food. Can't wait to try your quiche and sweet pies! Also, I got takeout and it only took 6 minutes to cook the pie, as fast as or faster than fast food and way, way better!

Such a sweet gem!! DIY or premade pies in personal serving size. The story behind the shop and employees who help out are even sweeter! It was fun to be helped by the owners of the shop and hear about how they got Doodle Pies to where they are now. I'm hoping they have continued success!!! Also a nice place to do work with wifi, plug in's, and seating all through out the store!

The pies were incredible!! Take note that since they are fresh and made to order that they do take some time to cook. I foresee that they'll eventually need a biggers space because they were so busy and there wasn't much waiting room!

Doodle Pies was such a treat! Walked in for the first time and were greeted by the owner. They have so many pies to choose from, savory and sweet. The cashier was kind to help us make our choices and make great recommendations. We chose the Meatball Marinara Pie and Shepards Pie for lunch and they were soooo beyond tasty. Finished off with a "build your own" pie for desert and we left very happy with our order. The restaurant itself was very clean and had some cool wooden modern seating. Would highly recommend!
