"Doomie’s is doing brunch in Culver City on Saturday and Sunday. The easygoing all-vegan menu runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and includes options like faux shrimp and grits, chicken and waffles, and meatless biscuits and gravy." - Farley Elliott

"Popular vegan comfort food option Doomie’s is still a ways off in Culver City. Ownership was hoping to flip the former Ramen Roll space into a place for vegan burgers and Mexican food, but construction delays and city permitting have made that process feel impossible at times. The group is now looking towards City Terrace, opening a standalone takeaway version of their NextMex idea, complete with on-site baking. The new space at 4140 City Terrace Drive should be up and running by October (hopefully) while Culver City has currently taken a back seat." - Farley Elliott

"Hollywood vegan hit Doomie’s Home Cookin’ is on the move, expanding into a very familiar space near downtown Culver City soon. Doomie’s is taking over the much-maligned corner location that most recently held the short-lived Ramen Roll." - Farley Elliott

Excellent vegan comfort food experience. I've eaten at the other location in Hollywood before. As of this writing they are still in soft open, so they don't have their full menu. But I got the chickn sandwich, animal fries, and jalapeno poppers. The chickn was AMAZING, crispy, delicious, and amazing texture. Also, to my surprise, my favorite part of the entire meal was the way the bun was toasted on the inside. One of my favorite burger buns ever. The animal fries were good, but for me there was way too much of the cheese! Highly recommended.

Probably the BEST vegan comfort food you can get ~ even non-vegans will love it. Pictured: carnitas tacos, chicken fingers, popcorn shrimp, buffalo wings (I don’t know how they make this stuff!) ALL are delicious!! / Desserts: strawberry shortcake, birthday cake 😋 Super casual dining area & FREE parking (thank you!) (FYI, not the fault of theirs’, but there is rip-off mandatory parking at the Hollywood location on Fridays & weekends) Went at dinner time, which is a probably a quieter time compared to their lunch hours (as next to Sony studios) Hoping one day they’ll offer third party delivery (to Santa Monica, anyways) 🙏🙏🙏

I love the one in Hollywood and I love this one too! Technically it's a retail store but we all know you go there for the food but the chairs although everything on the dining floor is for sale and you can buy the tables and chairs. There's even an awesome "beach" area within that you're allowed hanging out in and bringing your food into!

Went to the one in Hollywood a few years ago, now that they opened in Culver City thought I'd give it another chance. It's more of the same, cheaply made food that isn't sold cheap and total lack of any culinary value. Had the chili cheese burger, it's canned chili that looks watered down. Such a shame. The cheese burger wasn't any better. They grill the bun with oil to the point it gets hard. Don't recommend this place.

This Doomie's location has limited but free parking behind the restaurant. They have a growing deli and shop section. They have Brunch as of 9/1/19! (The Chick n Waffles is delicious) And like their Hollywood location, the staff is kind and generous. Love this little local franchise of #vegan food!

Really wanted to like this vegan place but was a bit disappointed. It's a soft opening so some hiccups are to be expected. The decor is a bit sparse but serviceable. The twinkling Christmas icicle lights have to go though. Lol. You start by ordering at a counter and when your order comes up you get a text to pick it up at the counter. Seating is first come first served and there is no table service. Think of a vegan McDonalds. The jalapeno poppers were very good. The vegan cheese and jalapeno mix was very tasty with just a touch too much salt. My wife had the classic cheeseburger without the bun and lettuce wrapped. I friend take a picture but the bun was replaced with two thin pieces of lettuce. The vegan patty was less than 1/4 inch thick and had very little flavor. My BBQ pulled pork burger was tasty but the bun seemed a bit thin to me. The total cost of the poppers, two burgers and two bottled soft drinks was a bit under $50. It was a nice try but not someplace I'll be returning to in the near future.

It was so awesome finding a vegan burger joint in LA. We had just about every burger on the menu! Everything was soooo good!
