Horrible experience with DoorDash. We have been using DoorDash for years but these last two years, it has really gone downhill. Two orders in a row that have been botched. The dasher just didn’t deliver it. 1 minute after the order was picked up (it takes at least 20 minutes to drive to my house from the restaurant), he added a stock photo (clearly a stock photo with no picture of the food in it at all) and said it was delivered. Tried to call the dasher and message him to have him correct the mistake but he didn’t answer the text and kept hanging up on me. Dashers can do whatever they want with impunity. How is this the second time in a row that this has happened and with a different dasher? On top of that, I used credits that I earned from the restaurant, credits from my Visa card, and also the measly $1.98 credit that they gave me from the last botched order and none of that was refunded, not even as credit. The support person said they could only make refunds on what was paid after the promotions. So in addition to ruining my night (waited an hour for the food that didn’t come), they also stole my money - at least credits that could’ve saved me money. DoorDash is overpriced and their service has been getting worse and worse. While I was willing to overlook a lot of mistakes for the convenience, the blatant mishandling (and lack of care for customers) of the last two orders was the last straw. I don’t care if my credit card gives me free DoorDash credits and Dashpass. They and my 6 years of loyalty clearly don’t mean anything. Deleting the app.

DoorDash is terrible. As others have said, they don't resolve issues. DoorDash frequently employs a tactic where it enrolls users in its monthly subscription service, DashPass, during the checkout process under the pretense of saving money on the current order. This is often done without explicit, informed consent, using design elements known as "dark patterns" to encourage accidental sign-ups. If I could give it no stars, I would. If you believe you'll not use DoorDash frequently, do not sign up for their service. Quite sleezy and scammy. Avoid like the plague. Get in your own car, drive, and save the frustration. Or... "fast" and save the calories.

DoorDash here in Seattle is a scam every time that I order they steal my credit card number and then I get a bunch of fraudulent charges. Do not use DoorDash here in Washington state it is a scam. They will rip you off every time I’ve had three different instances in the last month and a half where I’ve ordered food and the next day there’s five or six fraudulent charges evidently there’s some serious fraud going on here.

O stars!!!!! Door dash stole money from me! Basically I was charged for an item that was never delivered. I submitted a refund request and they denied it. I will never use Door Dash again, this was my first experience, what a scam!

The order today took well over an hour and was only about 3 miles away. It was a holiday with no traffic when I contacted customer service. I got the runaround. Poor customer service is a reflection on a company, and I have moved on past DoorDash in the future. Too many other delivery services out there.

DoorDash has a new scam. They promise you a reward after 50000 deliveries. Once you complete them, they don't know nothing.

Doordash does not resolve all issues. The app does not allow me to rate my Dasher or my food. I have no outlet to be disappointed. Most of the time the service is mediocre at best. Other times it's absolutely horrible service or the restaurant is liable but the app doesn't reconcile anything. I'm at the point and many other friends I know are too. That doordash simply is a convenience but not a reliable service!

Tried ordering Doordash for the second time after they completely messed up the first time. I instructed them to hand the food to me and they never did. They marked the food as delivered to the school behind my house. Never called, texted, or messaged. Just complete laziness and incompetence. Please don't use Doordash! Just go pick up the food yourself... Now I'm hungry and everything is closed... :(
