Dope Botanicals

We visited Philly for a quick weekend and stayed nearby Dope Botanicals. We walked around the neighborhood one morning and popped in to take a look. We didn't know much about what they had to offer, but they were so kind and patient with us and our two kids. We eventually ordered some smoothies and they were delicious. I highly recommend checking them out. They know their stuff and are truly passionate about botanical healing. Plus, they're cool to talk with and have an excellent playlist that keeps you in a good mood. :)

I met Nakia and Taahira this past Friday, and my life expanded a bit! They are incredibly lovely people and I could have stayed to talk with them all day. If good health, natural products and healing, being kind to the earth are your vibe, this is your tribe. As a self identified farmer who grows much of our food, it was exciting to see what Dope Botanicals carries and it's potential in my own life, as well as interact with people with much of the same perspectives. When I do get into the city, this will be a regular stop----looking forward to seeing you ladies again! And, thank you for what you do.

This place was so good! At first I was intimidated by the herbal ingredients because I wasn’t sure what they all meant. But everyone behind the counter was so nice and knowledgeable. I got so excited and everything tasted amazing.

Where should I begin? After moving to Philadelphia from Florida and struggling through the effects of winter/experiencing seasonal depression for the first time, I have finally achieved the warmth of the sun internally during the dark and cold winters. Taahirah and Nakia, owners of Dope Botanicals, are life saviors. My mental health and outlook has changed drastically. I didn’t want to write a review out of fear that all of my favorites and essentials would be constantly out of stock. However, I know that Dope Bontanicals would not allow that to be so.

A lovely fresh selection of botanicals and interesting preparations. The very affable sisterly pair that run the place draw a loyal following. It's the sort of business that you might not expect to succeed, but you're very glad that it does. Try the green piña colada.

Dope botanicals is the herbal wellness shop Philadelphia needed—I definitely needed. I’m almost embarrassed to say how often I stop by for a yummy smoothie just because, or a pick me up after my boxing session in Rittenhouse Sq. The added bonus is also the wonderful sisters who run this oasis. Their expertise and attention to detail, kindness and patience with my toddler who is usually in tow keeps me going back. Such a wonderful team and space. Thank you, Dope Botanicals!!!

Amazing! Stopped in on a visit to Philly. They took the time to explain everything and answer all of our questions. We got several different teas. Such a unique spot!

When you’re ready to stop self-sabotaging your health and wellness, this is the place to come to. The atmosphere is so peaceful and relaxing. You’re offered real life education about growing in your overall heal and wellness journey. The owners (Nakia and Taahirah) are down to earth and receptive. You will walk out with a wealth of information, but even better, amazing all-natural ORGANIC products! Health so truly wealth and they are a Rittenhouse goldmine!!

What a gem! I randomly came across this herbal apothecary, and it was just what I needed. It was my first time in this store, and it was a tiny bit intimidating because I don't know much about herbalism. The store owner sisters (I believe?) were very inviting and made me feel comfortable! There's a variety of powers, loose leaves, premade drinks, drink options, etc. I ended up with "The Switch" drink as per the woman's recommendation since I shared that I was looking for something to ease my stomach, and it was really good! It's similarly to kombucha and has a strong taste. So glad I came across this store. I will be back!!

I had such a magical experience here! Walked in based on a recommendation - they have similar prices to a tricked out Starbucks drink the but care put into the drinks and the plant based organic apothecary emphasis is unreal! Both owners were standing behind the counter and went above and beyond - they greeted other customers by name and instilled a sense of community in the store, which was spotlessly clean and open. They knew their stuff! They asked us how we wanted to feel that day and that they'd pick out the drink for us based on that- ended up with the oat cacao Bliss shake which was delicious. She also went into depth on each ingredient and how it would affect us! I also picked up the Biome powder to add to tea / shakes - the owner again went into depth about the ingredients and benefits of prebiotics. Needless to say I will become a regular here

Dope Bontanicals has been a life saver! Dope Botanicals has adjusted and perfected my perspective on being plant based and nutrient focused. These tinctures have been such a life saver in fortifying my focus, limiting sinus flare ups and increasing relaxation.

Talk about a dynamic duo!!! Dope Botanicals is an amazing wellness boutique and herbal heaven with first class hospitality. These ladies make herbs approachable removing intimidation and making it fun through interesting elixirs and easy conversation about what they offer. You can feel their passion for the art of herbs, and the creativity definitely shows through their menu. Literally the best smoothies I have ever had from DC to NYC.... Ask for the velvet cloud a seasonal apricot concoction but the Cobbler is delish too! A must try...u will become a regular

The customer service is excellent! Awesome to be remembered every time you enter a business. The drinks are amazing, the herbs on the wall are beautiful and the knowledge the owners share is appreciated and impressive.

I've been here a few times and have always walked out feeling better from the atmosphere alone. Both of the owners are incredibly kind and knowledgeable and really go out of their way to make sure your individual concerns are addressed, going so far as to walk you through different natural remedies and what they're good for. They also have a really incredible selection of hot and cold drinks that can be made in-store in addition to some really great cold grab-and-go drinks for if you're in a run. Be ready to wait a few minutes before being helped if it's busy as everyone who walks in gets a very individualized experience and some other patrons may need more help.

Great service, wonderful drinks. So glad I watched by this place and went in. The owners are incredibly knowledgeable.
