Found everything to be very well prepared and tasted delicious. Can't really decide on the favorite, but a few standouts are the lasagna, sausage and pizza. The dessert was also very good. All this was also pretty light on the wallet. Definitely recommend it but you should definitely make a reservation as they get pretty busy.

Nice enough dinner at Dopo last night. Attentive and helpful wait staff who felt comfortable helping us make choices from the menu. A few gripes: we got seated with our backs to one of the two doors to the place where the wind buffeted us as people came in and out. The wines we ordered were a bit flat. The pizza was excellent, as were the appetizers (a swordfish crudo and a crab and arugala crustini), but what should have been the highlights, Sicilian meatballs and a holiday timballo, were both on the heavy side, with the crust of the timballo soggy and unappealing. I'd go back, but would order differently, perhaps sticking to pizza and pasta for the mains.

I kind of don't want to review this place because it's the best kept secret of the east bay. The food is always good. Their special events offer great wine pairings and they always blow me away with their veg and fish options. I normally don't like fish but they cook it with such a perfect mix of sweet, sour, salty and spicy. It's never too much of anything but just the right amount of everything. The portion sizes are just right to be able to have a starter the main and desert. Now to the service. They are a small place that has a staff that's loyal, which is a good sign. They always seem to really love the dishes because when you ask their mouth waters! The service is wonderful! They are attentive, know when to come fill your glass and when to pickup the plates. From the outside it doesn't look like much but the experience is like being at home with family eating fresh seafood of the coast of some little Italian village you are passing through but never want to leave!

Delicious, flavorful, classy, and friendly. We arrived 45 minutes before close and were still treated with a wonderful dining experience. Their bread and oil were fresh and tasty. The lasagna was complex and full of flavor, and the pizza was authentic Italian, per my Italian fiance. The cannoli was the best I've ever had, and went very well with a cappuccino from the bar. Bravo!

It was OK ..however, pricey for the product my friend had the pizza and she did not like it the waiter was nice and comped.. the meal. I had the Cod sandwich it was tasty however the Cod was very small and it tasted more like a Cole slaw and dressing sandwhich..hardly any meat in the sandwich..

It's an experience choosing from 7 up to 14 course servings. The service was very good but the theme of the individual course seemed somewhat disconnected and some of the dishes lacked distinct flavor. The pizza is very good and one course in particular the thinly slice sword fish was amazing. Overall a good experience.

This is one of my favorite neighborhood spots to go for dinner. Pizzas and appetizers are always a great bet. The wine list is small but will picked - everything I have tried has gone great with my meal. My only reservation is that their recent switch to a Sicilian-focused menu has come with a price hike (ironic if you know Sicily).

Tasty food with a number of Sicilian dishes. Two of us turned up for a quick dinner before a show nearby and they had a few seats at the bar which we gladly took. The servers were knowledgeable about the dishes we asked about and also recommended against the pizza only because we were in a hurry. (Apparently they can only bake 4 at a time and they had a full house that night). The pizza looked good though, if a bit smallish for the price. Got a few of their house made pasta dishes, a side dish of melon, and a single glass of sparkling wine. All were delicious. Pasta was properly cooked. Presentation was done well. Timing was good for a busy night. The wine list was a manageable size with Sicily well represented. The negatives? The main dishes we had (and also saw brought to other tables) were rather small for the price. I mean, $20+ for a small plate of vegetarian pasta is a bit much, even when fresh and even at bay area prices. Also the smallest wine glass I've ever seen. Can't knock the quality or the service, just wish the portions were a bit more substantial for the price. With tax and tip on our two pasta dishes, side dish and glass of wine, our total came to about $85. That *really* made me miss Sicily. Worth checking out if you're looking for quality Italian food at a rather premium price. Try the Sicilian dishes for a delicious intro to some Sicilian staples (then travel to Sicily yourself someday to try them in the motherland).
