We came for the one Ube Latte that’s been blowing up on social media, but boy, did we find more than just coffee at Doppio Café in Denver! The Saigon Vietnamese Coffee packed a punch, and the Pistachio Latte was a taste of pure heaven. And let me tell you about the food—impressive doesn’t even begin to cover it. Those chia bowls were a refreshing way to start the day, and the breakfast sandwiches? Absolutely irresistible. This kind of quality is meant to be shared! Already itching for our next visit.

Charming neighborhood cafe off Colfax. Quality coffee and pastries with a small breakfast & lunch menu from their own kitchen - including basic burritos, avocado toast, panini, wraps, and salads. Perfect for on the go or a meetup. Outdoor patio seating under shade trees. Indoor sofas and tables. The staff are welcoming, can be busy with pickup orders but still attentive to in-store customers. They also make Vietnamese coffees and Ube lattes if you're on the hunt for one!

Tucked away off Colfax, this is a cozy coffee shop with ample space and a good kitchen. Had the seasonal Biscoff Latte, sweetness is very controlled and I can actually taste the cookies -- and that's not accounting for the crumbles on top! The Pesto Chicken panini + side salad is a great combo to get for lunch. Panini is warm and packed with fresh ingredients, no skimping on the chicken and bacon. Pesto and cheese has great flavor, definitely worth a try. The side salad comes with a variety of dressing, I chose the sweet chili ranch, it's more exciting but would not say it's got much heat. Lastly, if street parking is tough, they validate for 2h at the lot next door.

Google
Got the St. Tropez latte and the avocado toast, both fantastic! 4 stars instead of 5 because there were weird sharpie marks all over my glass. My friend got the chicken avocado wrap and it was poorly folded, spilled out the bottom, and made a mess.

Google
Absolutely love this coffee shop. They definitely have some of the best lattes in Denver, I love all their home-made syrups and flavors! I like to come here after a good workout since they are right across from my gym. 10/10 recommend :)

Google
This was a good find in the area. I absolutely love the space, it was very chill and they have a cute garage door that they leave open for entry. I got an iced White Chocolate latte and it was amazing. The prices also aren’t bad at all. I didn’t try any of the food, but it all smelled so good.

Google
Doppio Coffee has a variety of drink and menu options. There are some gluten-free pastries available. The baristas were friendly. The shop was clean, bright, and nice. My mocha tasted pretty decent. Street parking was taken. I parked in a lot that was $5/hr. The door to the coffee shop said 2-hour free parking. I had already parked but wondered whether that included the 2-hour space where I had parked. I like that the coffee shop is family-owned.

Google
Amazing specialty drinks (lattes and cappuccinos) with fantastic avocado toast. Absolutely worth the visit. Order: Biscoff Baby (Biscoff cookie butter latte), Butter Maple Cappuccino, Avocado Toast, Grilled Cheese About: $33 Review: I’m honestly not quite sure where to start. Almost everything was amazing! They had a lot of great seating and it looks like in the summer they can open the bay doors to let in the air. While I’m not sure they they always have what we ordered since their seasonal, after tasting a few things I think you’d have a hard time going wrong. The butter maple cappuccino had a wonderfully complex espresso flavor with bursts maple and I swear the Biscoff baby tasted like the perfect blend of cookie butter and espresso. The food was slightly less consistent. The avocado toast was great, one of my favorite of all time actually, but the grilled cheese was disappointing. I’d actually call it a ham sandwich not a grilled cheese as there was more ham on it than cheese, and the game wasn’t great. Definitely skip it and stick with their other offerings. While the grilled cheese was a miss, overall Doppio was amazing and definitely a place I would return to.

Yelp
Ok, for the craft matcha/coffees this place is where it's at! I'm a huge matcha lover and feel disappointed in a lot of places I go. Not here. I ordered a matcha (ah I forgot the name) that was iced and had lavender and mint in it. Holy smokes, prob the best matcha I've ever had. So light and refreshing. My dad had the pandan coffee. So unique and DELICIOUS. Obsessed w this place

Yelp
Our order was for pickup and I walked in at the time it was supposed to be ready. Sat for 20 minutes (trying to be polite as I knew they were busy) until someone finally asked me if I was waiting and when I told them my name the lady said "oh...sorry" and started making my drinks and grabbed a bag of food that had been sitting onthe counter since i walked in. $60 of food was cold. Super unfortunate.

Micah R.

Yelp
This quiet little bistro in what seemed to be a converted garage in an even quieter corner of Denver's east side is worth a visit. Easy going vibe. Casual staff behind the counter. Minimalist designer on retainer. Clear your own dishes. The mocha was fine. It isn't going to win any awards this week. But that is fine. The panini sandwich I ordered was a wise choice. It was amazing. It really was. Toasted to a golden brown. Fresh ingredients snuggled in between.

Yelp
Doppio Coffee is an absolute treasure! For those in search of an enchanting coffee haven adorned with lush greenery and an utterly relaxed atmosphere, this is the place to be. Allow me to endorse the almond toast, guava and cheese pastry, and the piping hot caramel latte. Each bite and sip is a symhony of flavors that will leave your taste buds dancing with delight. While the menu boasts a diverse selection, I must admit that the Saigon, though intriguing, didn't quite capture the authentic essence of Vietnamese coffee that I've come to know and love. Regrettably, it ended up finding its way to the waste bin. Nonetheless, Doppio Coffee is a true sanctuary for coffee connoisseurs seeking a charming, plant-filled escape and an array of delectable treats to indulge in.

Kenna G.

Yelp
Love this place! Had such a good cold brew coffee. They played good music and had plenty of tables to sit at, both inside and out. Cute plants all around, too. All of the workers were super friendly and nice!

Karen S.

Yelp
I've driven past this coffee shop a fair bit over the years, do I was glad to finally get the opportunity to visit! I really do like it here. There is lots of seating, including some comfy chairs and couches. It was a little cold though, on a snowy day. The espresso was very good and they had done some gluten free and vegan bakery items. Thank you! The service was excellent too. I'll definitely come back here again when I get the chance.

Grace C.

Yelp
A cute coffee shop with even tastier coffee! The staff was wonderful and the environment is great. I tried 3 of their seasonal drinks (Falling for you, S'mores Latte, and Maple Latte), which were all delicious!

Emily C.

Yelp
Great setup for getting some work done! I loved having lots of options (couches, regular tables, high tables, outdoor tables), and there are plenty of outlets sprinkled throughout. The music was just bordering being too loud for me. I also got a coffee and a chocolate croissant. Neither were phenomenal, but I will likely come back for the setup of the space.

Alexander C.

Yelp
Might not look like much but definitely has some delicious coffee. Pastries offered by two local bakeries and I loved out my macchiato came with a side car of seltzer water. They even offer a coffee flight if you're indecisive!

Breaunna O.

Yelp
Oh my! Best Hot Carmel latte I have had in a long time! If I was a Denver Local this would be my AM coffee spot! They are so particular with their presentation of coffee I love it! We also tried the breakfast burrito, IT IS HUGE! I would defiantly recommend sharing this unless you are very hungry. I think they are a bit pricy though, two coffees and 1 burrito almost $30.

Sophie S.

Yelp
Great little spot for some work from coffee shop. I loved the open garage doors and plenty of long tables, this made it feel like sitting outside with the comfort of good wifi and a great americano. I have to give a note of appreciation to the perfect bar top tables and chairs, really comfy and great for long term computer work!

Nicole R.

Yelp
This place doesn't hit the mark. Watered down coffee drink (ordered a seasonal latte which was so sugary - tasted like a bad Starbucks). The bagel was soggy, overly greasy, and tasted like it had been microwaved. Toasted bagels don't get mushy when toasted so the owner's comment below carries no weight. Never again. I'll make my bagel at home next time and toast it. Who wants food that tastes like it's nuked?! Not me.

Cassie P.

Yelp
When I'm in the area, Doppio Coffee is one of my favorite spots to dip into for a sip, bite, and to get some work done. They have a nice menu of both drinks and hot food, as well as a pastry case! When it comes to seating, there's plenty of it and it's nicely spaced out, so you don't feel like you're on top of other people. There are also ample outlets if you need to be plugged in. If it's nice outside, they have some picnic tables you can take advantage of as well. It's right off of Colfax but it's not too busy in front of the shop. On my last visit, I enjoyed a matcha latte and chicken pesto panini that comes with a nice side salad. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a heartier bite! When it comes to parking, they have a deal for free two hour parking in a designated spot so try to take advantage of that or find permissible street parking.

Darian G.

Yelp
This coffee shop goes beyond serving delicious coffee. Their staff is friendly and very helpful and they are immensely kind to community residents. The music is chill and the sound is at a volume that allows you to tune in if you want but also tune out when you've got to focus. Oh yeah, and did I mention the delicious food?

Akshar P.

Yelp
On a cold afternoon, we were looking for coffee shop to finish up some work before checking into our Airb&b. This store is only few blocks north of one of the busiest streets in Denver, Colfax on Lafayette. But to my surprise no noise once you step inside the shop. It's a women owned establishment so attention to detail is on point. Great seating options with plenty of light coming in from their windows. Their food selection is great, from toast to sandwiches, they have it all. I tried their oak cookie and it was delicious. I had ordered their Rose latte and to my surprise, I could taste the freshness of beans with the hint of rose towards the end. Its hard to do that because lot of the times you get overpower by the flavor and cant really taste the coffee roast itself. My friends ordered Boshoff latte and they had the same feedback so definitely try these drinks if you cant decide on the drink. Trendy | unique

Yelp
Uhhhhhh. Forgot to tell you something . . . and that is that Doppio's makes about the best avocado toast in the city. An abundance of freshly smashed avocados topped with a thick carpet of excellent bacon and finished with some delicious 1/2 roma tomatoes all laid over a healthy piece of whole wheat toast does the trick! And here's a pro tip ('cause there is one small short-coming about the dish: if you don't ask them to slice it in half you'll end up struggling to contain the very generous portion). Boun appetito, David "smashed with bacon" M

Christine C.

Yelp
Great food and coffee. The employees are very nice and friendly. I came here 3 times over the course of my 4 day trip.

Diane K.

Yelp
Very inviting ambiance in this coffee shop. It has room to work and enjoy a beverage and snack. The staff is very nice too!

Stefanie C.

Yelp
I met a friend here for coffee early one morning and love how simply decorated and spacious the interior is. The lit-up Doppio logo on one wall is picturesque, and the scattered plants make the place feel like home. Walk through the open garage door and order food and drink at the counter. I got a latte and breakfast burrito, then sat at one of the high top tables to do work. I made a mental note on the electrical outlets around the coffeeshop and the availability of WiFi. Perfect place to camp out for a few more hours next time. The burrito with salsa was filling, and the latte was delicious. Street parking isn't TOO bad if you get here early. I mean, it's Colfax. Variety of seating options, perfect for small or large groups. Friendly customer service. It got busy quick, so don't be surprised if there's a bit of a wait. I've been spreading the word and look forward to coming back.

Kennedy J.

Yelp
Doppio has AMAZING vegan options! I'm not vegan, but I am allergic to eggs so I always appreciate when a restaurant has options that I can eat! I ordered the Vegan Banana Chocolate Chip muffin and it was DIVINE! The drink I ordered didn't blow me away, but the pastries are what really sold me!! I will be going back soon to try some more drinks and pastries!

Gosha T.

Yelp
one of my absolute favorite places for coffee in Denver. It tastes just right! The food is also great- the breakfast burrito is very filling. space is large and open, so it's nice if you want to chat with a friend or study.

Mark B.

Yelp
Ok, we almost didn't even find this place! It's tucked away in a large building around a corner from where you would expect to find the address. So we called and the person answering the phone wasn't sure of the address nor if they had off-street parking...luckily there was someone there who could help. So, the coffee was actually tasted pretty good, but we asked for "extra hot" and got something closer to lukewarm coffee. The Chocolate-cherry scone was delicious, but the brown sugar scone was very dry. They have a large, open and comfortable space with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The large roll up doors allow in fresh cool air to keep it nice and comfy. All-in-all not a bad find, but could probably do some training with their employees on the details that could make them a Five Star coffeehouse.

Sarah Z.

Yelp
Craft coffee in a cool location off the fax. The staff are friendly and helpful. The ambiance is modern with a cozy feel. You can tell the beans are fresh and not burned.

Veronica W.

Yelp
Doppio was one of the first coffee joints I found on Yelp that was near me so I thought I would check it out. I ordered a plain almond cappuccino and it tasted good and was plenty hot. I also had a mocha latte which was very tasty and not overly sweet. The only thing I did not like was their adult "grilled cheese" sandwich which was not even close to a grilled cheese. As soon as I opened up the sandwich I was not inclined to try it because it was not fully melted. The cheese was half hard, half melted and the ham was cold. It looked like it was warmed up in a panini press but for only a couple of seconds. I went up to the cashier and explained the situation in hopes of at least getting an exchange for a muffin or something and the cashier did just that. She was very sweet and courteous as she heard my complaint and did me a solid and exchanged it for an almond scone. I was very pleased with her response and was happy about being able to eat something else. I really appreciate the fact that she worked with me and this alone makes me want to come back because customer service like this is what matters most--in my opinion. She even went as far as also offering me a refund for the sandwich but I thought that was too much and I politely declined and said just the pastry was good for me. Thanks Doppio for a great coffee and taking care of your customers!

Daniel C M.

Yelp
Nice small coffee shop with some food items, friendly, clean. I had the ham and cheese croissant. It was delicious and d hit the spot. Prices are reasonable.

Serenity C.

Yelp
It has a great atmosphere, I love the coffee choices, and they have a great breakfast selection. I have tried my standard vanilla latte but was pleasantly surprised trying a new fall flavor that was not pumpkin-inspired and was quite delightful. Their breakfast bagel sandwiches and muffins have never disappointed.

Rika M.

Yelp
I discovered another coffee shop I call it a gem! This store is only 50 yard north of one of the busiest streets in Denver, Colfax on Lafayette. Surprisingly the hustle bustle of the city noise is canceled inside the store where you'll get to relax with your choice of drink. I really like the environment here. Nice wide open feel is something you'll get to utilize if you are studying or reading a book. Outdoor seating is available too if you want to get soaked up in the sun! The Nitro Cold Brew was nice although in my opinion it should be served without any ice in it. Well, at least I know next time when I go there I will make sure to order it without ice.

Jessica A.

Yelp
I love the ambiance of this cafe, the service is always so good and the baristas are so sweet. I typically order via Uber eats though. I always love their food and it arrives hot,and fresh. I order from doppio at least twice a week but today my food came cold and stale. My sandwich tasted like it had been sitting. And my pumpkin bread was an end piece so stale it's inedible with no taste. I am usually so happy after enjoying the food/drink here but today made me super bummed out. Not sure I'll be eating here for a while.

Kayla T.

Yelp
Friendly staff, great coffee, good vibes. Our favorite neighborhood coffee shop! Get the specials.

Christina S.

Yelp
I started the morning scrolling Instagram and happened to come across a few posts of lattes and I decided I deserved a latte this morning. I went with an oat, lavender latter with an extra shot and it was honestly perfection. I believe I saw they make their syrups in house and they definitely nailed the lavender. I can't recommend that enough. The coffee / espresso was so rich and flavorful! It really was a perfect latte! The bagel sammy was pretty good too! I was able to get two kinds of cheese; you read that right TWO. And I love when people offer an option to put tomatoes on a bagel breakfast sammy. I really feel like it elevates it to the next level! I will totally be stopping in next time I'm in the neighborhood!

Yelp
Delicious drinks done with style. The London Fog is a favorite of mine. Service was quick and clear, no issues with placing the order and the wait was marginal. The casual atmosphere was accompanied exciting music and fresh air. And there's wi-fi. Good place to chill and meet up with others

Betsy E.

Yelp
Good coffee. Bagel sandwich left me wanting a little more. Maybe if it were toasted instead of microwaved. Very friendly staff

Claire M.

Yelp
Doppio coffee is such a cute, clean coffee shop! Walking in, Doppio has a modern, open style with a lot of space & sleek furniture. The guys at the counter were super friendly and didn't pressure me to order quickly - thankfully, because this was my first time here. I was able to get a spot on the corner of the booth and it was perfect for hanging out and getting some work done on my laptop - not toooo much work, as the seats weren't particularly comfortable, but if I got uncomfortable I could have easily sat in one of the comfy arm chairs. As for the coffee - I got a caramel latte and it was so warm and delicious. They had a lot of great, unique options but I was craving caramel so I went basic. I will be back to try the other options + some of their food items as those also looked tasty!

Mary P.

Yelp
Okay I really liked this coffee shop except for the location which is kind of awkwardly on the corner of a busy intersection (Colfax) and a quiet neighborhood. I guess that's how denver gentrifies. The drinks are made individually so you should be patient and then you can enjoy the fruits of their labor. They're beautifully made and crafted with just the right ingredients. I'm not a huge fan of sweetened latte drinks but that Mexican mocha. I just love a spicy drink and it delivers a good kick of cayenne, especially if you're licking off the sides of the cup like me, the savage that I am about flavor. The space is more studious than lounge-y but there are a few chairs to relax in. Not soft but a bouncy firm cushion so that maybe you don't get too comfortable.

Steve M.

Yelp
Wow, this is a complete coffee shop. They have great breakfast choices and an excellent coffee and tea menu supported by Corvus Coffee beans. They have special espresso drinks every day. Today it was an orange mocha latte. Friendly baristas, nice large space, central location between uptown, cap hill, City Park and downtown. Check them out.

Cherie C.

Yelp
Doppio is stylish. They also work to be part of the community, offering UPS lockers for deliveries. But if you don't live within walking distance, parking isn't too hard to find on this stretch of Colfax. The barista on my most recent visit takes his job seriously. I ordered a pour over, and he walked me through the offerings and let me know which varieties he enjoyed. I really appreciated that. They use Corvus, my favorite local roaster. They get creative with a seasonal drink menu, so look for that. Pastries are good, and they've got other savory fare if you're hungry. The space has plenty of room for working, catching up with friends, or just hanging out.

Mai L.

Yelp
We came in right before close but still felt welcomed and not rush. Our barista was very friendly. I ordered a latte and my boyfriend got the Mexican mocha. I love when drinks come with the foam art which was nicely done. We grabbed our drinks and enjoyed them sitting at the many tables inside. They were delicious! I did really like the Mexican mocha better. Cute place and good drinks!

Sasha T.

Yelp
Nice addition to this area of Colfax. Pros: - Corvus coffee - lots of airy space inside and out - informative baristas Cons: - unwavering jamtronica will boost your already caffeinated heart rate - fridge leaking - will try and charge you $.75 for a dollop of alternative milk for your coffee unless you say something

Surafale A.

Yelp
New find! This is a spacious and vibrant coffee shop located right of Colfax. Parking can be hard on Lafayette but one can usually find meter parking on Colfax. The interior is great, big open concept with tall glass windows that meet the top of the high ceilings. A lot of sun!! I've had a couple of this here, my favorite are the Cortado and their chocolate brownie. It's finger licking good, rich and condensed chocolate. A bit too heavy on the chocolate spread but that's my personal preference. Ambience: A Service: A Location: B+ Space: A Price: B+

Melia M.

Yelp
Rose Latte is perfect hot or cold! Ham and cheese croissant is melt in your mouth right out of the oven. Grilled chicken salad is pretty good too! This place is so good that this is the third day that I've been here since visiting my daughter. A definite go to place once a week, if I lived here.

Ryan G.

Yelp
In the words of my wife "This place is cute" lol, but really it is. We needed a place to get some work done on the fly and stumbled upon Doppio. It is spacious, not too crowded, and surprisingly quite. Their White mocha with almond milk is fuego ! Overall 10 out of 10 I recommend!

Lauren D.

Yelp
I hit up Doppio this weekend and found it to be a-okay. Not bad and not amazing. The space is a real selling point for me! I'm all for a cozy coffee shop but there's real merit in having space and not feeling like everything you say can easily be overheard. Other perks: HUGE coffee mugs, a good food offering (pastries AND more substantial things) and coffee that was the PERFECT temperature. Hot but not, wait-half-an-hour-to-drink hot. Service was good, neither super friendly nor rude but not really memorable. I really liked my almond butter toast and the pretty ceramic plate it was served on and maybe this it nit-picky, but do I really need a second piece of toast that doesn't have any of the extra toppings on it? Probably not. If my husband hasn't been there to help, I wouldn't even have touched that piece. Overall a nice coffee shop.

Melanie P.

Yelp
Extremely mediocre. The chia pudding had a bad pudding to topping ratio and it was really overpriced for what it was. The burrito was not that good either.

Alyssa M.

Yelp
Lovely neighborhood coffee shop with chill vibes! Plants, lots of natural light, an open garage door. Excellent oatmilk latte and the gluten free chocolate covered shortbread was delicious! Super friendly and patient staff! Most definitely will return (and probably become a regular since it's right down the road)!

Lindsay D.

Yelp
5 star place, 2 star service! I absolutely love this place. It's always very clean and well stocked. All the breakfast options are incredibly delicious and are made with high quality ingredients. The coffee is very well balanced and flavorful. HOWEVER, the reason I don't give this place 5 stars is because one of the staff members. There is one gal in particular that has the worst attitude. I'm discouraged from coming here when she's working because she acts like I'm bothering her at her house. She rolls her eyes and is rude to customers every time I come in.

Greta V.

Yelp
I did not like their coffee or cappuccino. Croissant was ok. Atmosphere was ok. Long wait in a not that nice neighborhood. More expensive than $

Lisa F.

Yelp
There are a lot of good coffee shops in Denver to be honest. In my question for finding the best of the best - Doppio was on the list. We went fairly early on a Saturday AM and had no issue getting a seat or service. For starters, the space is large, open, and has ample seating. It was updated and modern. The front counter is pretty large and the young lady was very helpful. We ordered two smalls of the "batch of the day" - a Corvus blend and it was very good. The coffee (in house at least) came with refills which is always a perk. We ordered two breakfast burritos and had a seat by the bright open windows/sun. The woman who cooked our breakfast brought them over fairly quickly and they were on a nice plate of sorts. The burrito was large in size and included eggs, cheese, potatoes, green chili, and sausage with a small side of salsa. The burrito was seasoned well and other than asking for extra salsa we were pretty happy with our choice. Looking back, I definitely wish I would have gotten the Avocado and Almond Butter toast - they looked AMAZING! Overall, I am pretty happy to have found Doppio and definitely look forward to going back on a bright sunny and warmer day! Also, I will be trying those "toasts".

David L.

Yelp
Mask police in full force. They are very specific about the style of mask you wear and how you wear it. Took my business elsewhere.

Laura H.

Yelp
The food is amazing and so is the coffee. Bread was extremely fresh and I had the veggie bagel sandwich (which is not something I normally would order but one of the staff members suggested it) and it was delicious. The service was great, they were so accommodating and friendly. Felt like they have a great culture and happy staff. They were also very nice to my pup.
