Food was delicious! The dumplings were worth getting for sure. Try their soy sauce, it’s got the perfect about of kick and flavor. I liked the soup but it was a little salty/spicy (not sure it I’m just not used to it). Overall great spot, will be back for sure!

Some of the best Japanese food I've had in the States since coming back from Japan. It's almost exclusively Ramen, fried chicken, and sweet drinks, yes they have more on the menu but this is the bulk of it. Strawberry matcha drink was legendary, the karage tho being one of the best in the states still pales in comparison to some good old Family Mart chicken, which for a theoretical 5x the price was wild lol Finding Japanese curry in the States is really difficult, they got the flavor spot on but man was it not thick enough. Pricing was a bit pricy, but hey that's good these days. In July 2025, it cost $110,to get 4 drinks, 2 apps, 2 entrees... yikes Place is kinda small but they have parking, hours could be better.

We love eating here. The food is pricey--but totally worth it. You get what you pay for in high quality food with great presentation. Don't underestimate the hellfire ramen! I ordered one level too spicy last time and it was hard to eat (though of course I finished it). I recommend working your way up the spice ladder with that one. So grateful to have this little authentic spot in our neighborhood. Thanks to the team for keeping it running!

Google
I only had the chicken ramen. The Takoyaki is fire🔥 , and a variety of wing flavors. It is a tight small place, few tables to dine in. Amazing ramen, best around!

I’ve ate here many times, every time is a great experience. This time around I was with my family, and the kids were there enjoying their fill. At the end night, we were the last table and one of the Chefs came out and stated they are starting a Kids menu in the future soon, and that they are going to be giving kids a dessert/treat. My kids got a cool dragon sticker too. I’m happy to hear they are finally doing a kids menu. Looking forward to trying it!

The ultimate Hidden Gem has the best ramen in Massachusetts. Doragon Eatery in Ashland, MA crushes the broth game making their Ramen unmatched. Their Creamy Chicken Paitan Ramen has a creamy chicken paitan broth, wavey ramen noodles, ajitama, fresh roasted corn, scallions AND Is served with a side of Chicken Karaage which is crispy Japanese style boneless fried chicken served with spicy black garlic aioli, FOR DIPPING!!! They daily hand make their Gyoza which are Japanese Style Dumplings. I got the Honey Gochujang Chicken Gyoza filled eith fresh ground chicken with house-made honey gochujang sauce and scallions then topped with more honey-gochujang sauce and scallions. I also got the Thai Pork, Shrimp & Crab stuffed with a traditional Thai shumai made into pan-fried dumplings. Pork, shrimp & crab with crunch water chesnuts and traditional Thai seasonings.

Is a small restaurant that serves Asian inspired comfort food and boy was it delicious! The parking lot here is sort of small, but it is available. I ordered my food to go, and it was packed up in a timely manner, tracking it online was easy and up to date. The establishment is clean, warm and inviting. It did seem a bit busy, but I was able to get in and out, no problem. Now when it comes to the food, I tried the ramen which was quite flavorful and also I tried what was MY absolute favorite, “ ultimate breakfast sando.” I highly recommend this for pork belly lovers, and egg lovers, specifically the runny ones. Thick pork belly on a toasted bread that oozes egg, all the major comfort I need. Thai tea is good as well. If you like or want to try the Asian inspired comfort food, I don’t think you will be disappointed!

Google
My mom and I come here often; Alan and his team are putting out some of the best food around. Seriously, top-notch. I feel guilty spending money on dinner out, especially when I feel I can make that dish better at home for a 3rd of the cost- I have never once felt this way walking out of Doragon Eatery. Alan has perfected his craft, and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone! Thank you Alan and team!

Yelp
A really good, quality place and very reasonable prices. My wife and I went and got the black garlic pork & veg gyoza which are hand made, super fresh and delicious with the Thai ginger chili sauce. The Honey Gochujang wings were definitely quality meaty wings tossed in a tasty sweet & spicy sauce. We both went for the tonkotsu ramen which was super rich with a subtle spice and really tasty flavor. The noodles were quality as well, and it was a nice big bowl with lots of them in it. Service was quick and friendly, food came out just as fast. Its a nice little hole in the wall place, definitely worth it.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I have tried this place a few times, the last time being one of the worst takeout experiences since living here. However, we decided to try it again as our dine-in experience was better. Food - We ordered the pork and kimchi gyoza which were pretty good, a little kick from the kimchi which was nice but not overpowering. I think me and my boyfriend can agree these gyozas are handmade and probably the best around for a ramen joint. Next comes the tonkotsu which we both got, the broth is great, but the green veggie salad on top kinda ruins the broth. The green stuff is spicy and changes the entire taste of the original broth which I think is better than when the green stuff invades it. The eggs are perfect, but no soy flavor/marinated. The noodles are also great and seem to be homemade or just a better noodle than most joints in the area as well. We also ordered chicken katsu on the side which they nailed both times we dined in. Service - it's quick, but not a lot of interactions Ambiance - small place, about 6-7 tables, so make sure you don't bring too large of a party to this place as it is cramped. My reasoning for a 4 star review was our past take-out experience. Both my bf and I got sick from the food and it was a totally different broth/experience we had when we ordered take out. We literally didn't come back here for MONTHS because of it. However being generous with our recent visit we think this place competes well with some of our other favorite ramen spots, but it is not our favorite favorite! So I guess words of advice, better for dine in, not for take out

Yelp
This place is small but service is friendly and the ramen here is actually pretty authentic and better than most other ramen in the area. You would probably have to make the drive to Boston for better. I got the garlic miso ramen and my husband got the miso hellfire ramen. I usually prefer knife cut thicker noodles, and we both opted for the kezeri noodles which kind of resemble them, but the texture was overly chewy and was my least favorite part of the ramen here, so I'd probably get different noodles next time. Other than the noodles, the ramen was nicely flavored and not too oily/heavy, and it was pretty good. Not among my top 5 bowls, but definitely better than all the bowls I've had in MA suburbs so far. My husband also got wings and they were not bad either. If I come back I'd definitely want to try the chicken paitan ramen, because when I tried a few bowls of this in Japan recently, they were delicious.

Yelp
I do love their Raman. Hands-down best around the entire area including Framingham nothing else I have found touches it. But I still hate the hours, etc. lol
google avatar

Yelp
I have eaten here many times before and have never been disappointed by the quality of the ingredients used to make the meal! The service is usually very good and since I visit in off hours, I have a chance to talk with the owners who are both very friendly and knowledgeable with regard to the food. I highly recommend eating here!
google avatar

Sarah S.

Yelp
small but cozy spot i decided to try while being in framingham their music choice reminds me of eating at family gatherings they have a ton of options for ramen -- including add ons or noodle substitutes. i got the thai shrimp and crab dumplings (not photographed) & they are sure fresh! my bowl (Tonkotsu Broth) was super rich but not as spicy as i thought it was going to be. it was creamy and pretty flavorful. i chose to replace my noodles with udon and i was very satisfied; im not always in the mood for ramenesque noodles. they did not skimp on the tender juicy pork! i will be thinking about this spot.. boston ramen spots have some competition lol

marialys f.

Yelp
just a no on my book. mochi no. mango drink a huge no. ramen noddles MASSIVE NO it was noodlescooked all in on clump broth tasted disgusting.

Yelp
I had dinner here tonight and it was fantastic. The food really taste like it's made with care. I had a couple apps and then I had the tonkatsu noodle. Wow their pork belly is really not much fat shockingly enough. The broth was creamy and rich and it was just put together well. The Goya dumpling should be made with a very thin shell if you will. The server a young kid Named Liam was really good. On time working his butt off pretty much. Always checking in and making sure I was good to go.

Yelp
Go for the food- you won't be disappointed. The chef is putting out some tasty dishes.

Yelp
Tiny spot. Was doing a crazy bit of take out. Think there were 8 tables. Had no issues getting in at lunch. Waiter literally knew nothing about the menu. Asked several questions and despite trips to the kitchen we were left guessing. Nothing special about the food. Can't even say we got what we ordered. Waiter couldn't confirm either. Very bland and uninspiring. Wish we skipped it. Two stars due to being edible. Three meals and some edamame was like $80 too. Not a good value Would not go back

Yelp
Dragon Hellfire Ramen - 4/5 - Loved the wavy, extra width kezari noodles they have. Texture is great and laps up the broth on its way into your mouth. I'm a big spice fan so I definitely am impressed with the heat from the chili mixture in the broth. Slow heat definitely very satisfying. The toppings were all good as well. The charsu had the right fat to lean meat ratio to give it a good rounded flavor. They don't char their charsu, which is totally fine since plenty of ramen places don't do that. The egg was well marinated, I could taste the soy and sake flavor profile. Service was fine, was greeted when entering and got water and utensils right off the bat. There is parking in front but spaces would fill up during busy times I imagine. The dining area is small/medium with one bathroom in the back. Around 8 tables I say. Ambiance is good for casual dining with some light japanese themed music play. Bathroom is clean and big (unisex). Overall, will definitely come again to try out the apps and another ramen.

Yelp
*** Don't sleep on this place *** I eat a LOT of soups at a lot of places. Pho is my jam, but who doesn't love a well-executed ramen? I was in Ashland for a kids soccer game, my stomach was rumbling, Doragon Eatery's reviews drew me in, and MAN am I glad they did. This place is special-- a destination I'm excited to seek out again very soon even though it's not exactly near my home; totally worth it. The broth is deep and rich, the noodles crafted and cooked to perfection-- great bite (strongly suggest getting the broad wavy ones)-- and the add-ins (including amazing big black fungus mushrooms, enoki, etc.) are fresh and generous. The Hellfire ramen's spice is on-point. I got a 1, but asked for extra spice on the side so I could dial it in. The ghost/ scorpion pepper combo is legit-- instant sweat on the top of my head, and great flavor. We didn't try the wings, gyoza, dumplings, etc., but I look forward to coming back with a bigger crew to increase the variety. Thank you for doing what you do, and so well, Doragon Eatery!!!

Yelp
Normally I have to venture to the Boston area, Worcester, or Providence to find quality ramen, so I was beyond delighted to hear about Doragon Ramen in the MA suburbs a few months ago! While it took me a while to make it to their spot in Ashland, I've traveled back twice within a month since trying my first bowl of ramen! First, I'll say they have a fantastic tea selection--I can't say I've been to ramen spot in New England with more to choose from! This includes both hot tea and boba tea. I'm slowly but surely making my way through their spicy black teas. They have a Saigon black tea with cardamom that was lovely. For ramen, I've had both the Doragon Miso Hellfire (Vegetarian prep) and the always-vegetarian tomato broth. The tomato broth is an interesting twist from traditional ramen -- you get a giant Parmesan cheese crisp to snack on and dip into your tomato broth. It's giving grilled cheese meets ramen! I may be alone in saying this, but the Miso Hellfire wasn't spicy enough for me. I'd still get it again, but I'd probably add more spice for an extra punch. On both visits I would say ramen noodles themselves could be chewier. I'm not sure if it's the noodle itself or the cooking time? In any case it's not going to stop me from going back and trying as many of their vegetarian friendly bowls as I can! Pro Tip: For each weekend visit we arrived about 45 minutes into when they open. This seems to be the sweet spot for timing! You may have to wait a while if you get there at peak dinner time because the seating is limited.

Yelp
The new menu at Doragon is NOT to be missed!!!! Even if this restaurant were a dingy hole in the wall (it is not) I would still come out just for the pork katsu sando, a true paragon of balanced flavors and textures and just a delight in every bite. The expanded menu has great vision and contains imaginative and interesting fusion combinations of tastes. There is something on here for everyone, really. Their ramen, the "old reliable" menu option from when they were previously known as "Doragon Ramen," is not to be overlooked either. The noodles have a perfect chew, and the broth options are full of umami richness. Their desserts are so creamy and delicious, if you can try to leave room for it after the generous portions of your dinner! Service is speedy and efficient and the seating area, while small, is decorated appealingly. Check this place out! It's a new favorite for me, hands-down.

Yelp
First time eating here after hearing so much about it and the hype is real. Tried the Yum Yum and it's exactly that. Holly smokes. We also tried the pork dumplings and the chicken ramen and they were both amazing. Will definitely be coming back.

Yelp
Food we got tasted good: wings, ramen, khao soi. My husband also got a spicy ramen. We were trying to find a place that was in between our home and the Southwick zoo. It was a rainy day so a place with soup sounded like up our alley. The place is really small so would be best for a small party. I think if we lived in the area we would probably order this to go vs staying in the restaurant. We really enjoyed the wings, not too dry and the flavors were good. Wish the menu was a little simpler(but maybe trying to wrangle two kids, keep down hunger, and figure out menu was maybe a bit much for me). I just want to pick the item and then it all just go through. Instead I had to pick the item, the protein, and then try to figure out if I want side accompaniments. Minor detail though.
google avatar

Kristen K.

Yelp
Smallish ramen shop with a little bit of outdoor seating - nice to find a dedicated ramen place outside of the city to satisfy that craving when you don't feel like driving in to Boston. It was nice that they let you customize your proteins for the bowls, and that they provide an extra refill of noodles without charge when dining in! Note that dine in is cash only. Would love to have tried their yuzu broth, however we were told it was out when we went - guess we will have to go back again to try it out :)

Yelp
Honestly, everything we had was good. The wings, ramen, and gyoza were awesome. Everyone was friendly and the food was ready when they said it would be.

Yelp
WHAT A HIDDEN GEM IN ASHLAND! We had all these dishes for just two people because my boyfriend and I wanted everything on the menu. It's a nice, small but homey space at Doragon. The owner is so nice! The staff were all friendly and always smiling. Patrons who were eating seem to be regulars. We've had two different groups of people recommend dishes for us! Everything we order was just perfect! Can't go wrong! PS BUY THEIR CHILI OILS, it's locally based in MA!
google avatar

Yelp
Was finally able to come here for the first time today for lunch. It was worth the wait. Staff was kind, quick and very knowledgeable of everything on the menu. Teriyaki wings & gyozo were amazing appetizers that were perfectly cooked and very flavorful. Doragan (Hellfire) ramen was outstanding. I just got Level 1 today (plan to go hotter in the future). Level 1's heat was manageable but you definitely knew it was there. It's like it was saying "if you have trouble with me, wait until you meet my older brothers!" The broth and pork belly were delicious. The portions were great! I couldn't finish my bowl of ramen. They also had Ramune (a Japanese style Sprite-ish drink). Those were tasty as well. The atmosphere (although a smaller establishment seating wise) was great and I enjoyed eating in there. They had what sounded like Japanese anime music playing while we were eating, which I felt was an awesome addition to the vibe and aesthetic of the experience. I plan on going again soon. Like, very soon... like I wanna go back now. Like - if you're reading this, I might be in there.
google avatar

Angela Y.

Yelp
The place is super small and cash only but the ramen and appetizers were amazing! Beware the Hellfire ramen! It is spicy!
google avatar

John Z.

Yelp
Since we moved to Westborough we are finding new places to explore. The food here is amazing. The menu was different and we needed help navigating through it. Service was excellent and sorted out an amazing meal for us. The restaurant is a comfortable and easily accessible space that really works well. Be aware that some items can be on the spicy side so be sure ask. The soups are amazing . I'm staying away from the super spicy but they have some excellent choices.
google avatar

Yelp
Once again, I've had my posterior handed to me by a bowl of Ramen! Tabasco tastes like salty vinegar, so this isn't me not being able to handle some spice. I knew this would hurt the next day, though, I wasn't expecting my lips to burn in the shower that night. Before braving the Hellfire Ramen, I had asked them how spicy a level one was. The server told me it was about a 4/10. Sold! Yeah... this was more like an 8/10. As I was trying to work my way through, my poor friends were watching my eyes water and my nose run. I couldn't finish the broth on my level one, thus I can't imagine what a level two would be. Level three would send me straight to the hospital. I will give credit where credit is due. The broth was very savory, flavorful, and the heat wasn't an immediate onslaught. It was more of a slow burn at the back of the throat. They didn't skimp on the pork! There a handful of large, thick slices! The flavor of the meat was okay. It wasn't melt-in-your-mouth like I've had elsewhere, but I've had worse for sure. The veggies were pleasant and in perfect amounts, and the egg was a nice, classic touch. As for the noodles, I couldn't tell you what it was about them, but something made them extra-good! Like no ramen I have had before! I also had the opportunity to try the oolong milk tea. While solid, I didn't find it superior to what I've had at Kung Fu Tea. Great as a beverage to go with a meal, but if there might be better options if getting it on its own. The service here was wonderful! They took good care of us, providing speedy and attentive service. All the more impressive is they did this while shorthanded! Even though this is about an hour's drive, I do want to come back and try a less spicy option!
google avatar

Yelp
Everything here was super flavorful and proportioned correctly and served quickly. Customer service is brusque but efficient. So perfect for a rainy day! Go for the black miso if you want super savory and thicker chewier noodles or for a cleaner simpler taste get the Tonkotsu. The pork here is THICK and generous. Also loved the okinawa sweet potatoes!

Yelp
Its a great place for ramen. Small seating place is available. Ramen was great. Sweet potato starter was yummy.

Yelp
Round 2 featuring some new and different menu items, as well as a takeaway order! We have: funwari age tofu ($13), roasted sesame mazeman ($16), peanut mazeman ($16), black miso ramen ($17), tonkotsu ramen ($17), and hellfire broth ($4.50). We all decided to try the non-hellfire broth menu items with a hellfire broth on the side for sipping, which I highly recommend for intermittent spice. The two broth ramens were both rich. I would argue that the tonkotsu ramen wasn't as rich as the Doragon hellfire version, but still quite flavorful. The real stars of the show here are the mazeman dishes and the aged tofu. The aged tofu is made with fish paste -- gives it this very seafood-like flavor -- and is fried perfectly crisp, making it an underrated app. Would highly recommend a little chili in the soy sauce used for dipping and it's perfect. The peanut mazeman is very heavy on peanut flavor, but if you like a sweeter, nuttier sauce that's got punches of curry, then it's an amazing dish! I personally loved the newer mazeman, the roasted sesame, because it's a little more savory and spicy with some mild sweetness from the sesame seeds. Both are definitely must try items if you're not feeling broth! Service as always was great and this spot still offers a small seating area but wonderfully upbeat music to help with general vibes while munching on ramen or finger foods. Still highly recommend!

Alisha R.

Yelp
Service is great! Very small and intimate vibes. Spices are on point. Loving the beverage options.
google avatar

Kathy M.

Yelp
The first time I went there with family we liked the food, service was nothing to write home about, probably because they were short staffed and it is always rush there. Unfortunately recent news article about the owner blasting the entire Indian and Chinese community for not paying enough tips to his staff, seemed very racial and prejudiced. I do not recommend this restaurant. Not even 1 star deserved but yelp needs it so giving one star.
google avatar

Yelp
Bomb tonkostu ramen. Service was good too. Got pretty busy quickly so you know it's a good spot. Allen is the owner and very knowledgeable! Definitely recommend.

Yelp
Came here with son after a long time ! Same warm and friendly service . It's a small place and they do not take reservations over phone. You need to come in and give your name and wait. Had a veg tempura for starter-kakiage. It was delicious!! Ordered the only two veg broth ramens and both were yumm! We can never finish the portion so boxed the left over to take home . This is a really cool spot to hang out with family and friends ! Local gem !!

Jaime H.

Yelp
The ramen here is so customizable and totally delicious! The staff is friendly. The dining area is quite small, but clean and they do well with what they have in the space. Take out works great!

Yelp
The food is consistently delicious! Anytime we are in the mood for a great food, great service we know where to go!

Yelp
Take out took forEVER. They said they had to call for extra kitchen help. We got there when the website's texting service told us to be there. Young kid at the counter said it wasn't ready, and it would be 15-20 mins longer because they needed more help in the kitchen. 25 minutes later I go back in to check. There are quite a few people waiting inside for food. I feel bad for their understaffed situation, but it's getting to be a half hour after the restaurant texted us to be there. The kid at the counter says, "just another 15-25 minutes" Just?? Okay, I'm hoping this will be great ramen So at 50 minutes after the initial pick up time (which was 20 minutes after we ordered online) the food was ready for pickup My tonkotsu pork belly ramen was just meh. Definitely not worth the wait. The mix of veggies that went in it were bland and mush. The egg was nice. Broth and pork belly were the only redeeming factors, but nothing great. The noodles were not correct for the type of ramen I got--it looks like they were rushed and just gave me whatever was ready at the time The wings were the surprise! Actually pretty damn tasty, tender, and had a great sauce My brother got a spicy broth that was very good, so I'm hoping to try this place out again
google avatar

Yelp
This is probably one of my favorite places to go eat in ashland and some of the favorite Raman that I've ever had. The guy that served us was very cool and polite he warned us about the spice even if you think you can take it get like a 0-1 on the spicy Raman that is so spicy. The place is very tiny but is very good most of the time it's full so come early if you want a seat.
google avatar

Yelp
Came in today coz I was craving something hot and soupy. Ordered Tonkotsu ramen with pork belly today. Waited for probably 15 mins or so. While I was waiting, I have noticed a few fruit flies around. They were flying around my ramen once I started eating. Unfortunately, one flew right into my bowl of ramen. But luckily it was almost to the end of my meal. I think I left some noodles and one piece of pork behind but there's no way I would have that now that the fly was in the bowl. Yikes!!!!! Taste of the broth was pretty good at the beginning. It has a good flavor. Not too oily and not thick though. The ramen has gotten cold pretty fast. Noodles were once again too soft. No bounce or chewy texture. Just bland and soft like thin over cooked wheat noodles. Not like a authentic bouncy ramen noodles. (Example:Ippudo and santouka) I do like the soft boiled egg which they give you a whole egg. It tasted marinated with soy and sake! Good flavor! The Tonkotsu noodles cost $17 which comes with some pickled mustard green, generous amount of chopped scallions , a few pieces of wood ear mushrooms, three thick cut pork belly(not torched though) but a slow cooked ones that would melt in your mouth. And one small piece of Nori seaweed. Servers were nice enough to come over and refil my hot water twice. Didn't check back on my ramen until the end of my meal. But I think they were busy. There were three other tables. They did give me a little discount from the order which I think it's nice. But seriously, the restaurant need to take care of the bug issue.

Yelp
Awesome everything! Taste delicious. They have a section for people who love spicy but be careful what you wish for. I love spicy but I can't even handle it lol. Love ramen with tonkatsu, great great portion. One of the best ramen I have ever had!
google avatar

Yelp
Everything here is delicious! Perfectly seasoned, amazing textures and just overall higher quality than most Asian restaurants we've been to! Unique dishes that are just done right and it always keeps us coming back for more! Alan and Pepsi are both awesome and super friendly owners! Highly recommend if you are in the area!

Yelp
Incredibly good ramen here, and the dumplings are stellar as well. Service is solid, only one dude was running the front but he had it together and gave us great recommendations. It's a bit small but the seating is clean and the ambiance is relaxing if crowded.
google avatar

Yelp
What a hidden (to Boston) gem. I wasn't expecting authentic ramen out in Ashland, MA but I was passing through and figured I stop in. Wow was i impressed. If you live within 30 minutes or are making a trip back from Western Mass, I highly recommend dropping by here. I ordered the black garlic miso. Noodles were fresh and al dente. Broth was flavorful. The corn was fresh (not canned!). Pork belly was so tender. Even the seaweed was flavorful and had a thickness to it (not the cheap flavorless one). I could go on, but that's for you to find out!

Yelp
Delicious fresh food from business owners committed to quality and consistency. Love it!

Yelp
Great ramen spot! We cane right when they opened at 11am and we're seated right away. The black miso was delicious! It had the right amount of spice. The serving portion with two large pork slices!

Yelp
Good ramen. Sit down or take out. Wings are pretty good too! Ask for the the spicy sauce on side, and you can customize your heat level.

Yelp
Best ramen East of the Mississippi! I didn't even know I liked ramen until I cam here. They play dulcet tunes that make you feel like you're the main character of an anime. Locally owned and locally renowned. I always have a good time (and I keep coming back)!

Yelp
This is some of the best ramen I've ever had, period. I've been to japan and have had ramen many times and I would say that the tonkatsu broth is the closest to what I've had in japan. I recommend doragon eatery to all my friends who are looking for a good bowl of ramen. The gyoza are excellent also, can't wait to go back and try some of the other things on the menu.
