My husband and I came in tonight using the Cuculi app (which lets us order and pay on our phones, awesome app). The restaurant is so nice. I love the decor with all the lights, the seating area is nice and comfortable, music was great. All around great ambiance, we were excited for the place. Had a beer and wine, all great and brought out quickly. Service was top notch. The waitress was probably the best part. She was so nice and personable, and I wanted to stay longer because of her. But after our wines, sadly it went downhill. The problem is with their kitchen. It took an hour for a ceviche order to come out. The waitress kept saying our food would come out but it was out of her hands. I saw the manager come out at one point, seemingly aware of the delay but didn't do anything about it or come say anything to us. Then when the ceviche came out, it was served warm! It wasn't good. Shrimp was overcooked, fish was warm, leche de trigre was bland, it just wasn't good. Even the plate it was served on was warm. Several other tables left disappointed with the kitchen delays, so much so that when we were still waiting for any food we were the last ones or second to last there (9pm on Friday night). We just closed out on the app and left. I am disappointed because this place has great ambiance, great staff, and good potential. I'm also Peruvian so really wishing a good Peruvian place could open in the city. I won't write it off and will be back. But they need to do something about the kitchen!!
