Had dinner here with a friend last night. I was pleasantly surprised by the food and the menu. I was expecting far more of a local, village joint. This is definitely a higher-end place that isn't pretentious or off-putting trying to be gourmet. It's very rustical yet at the same time modern. The staff is young and there is nothing stuffy about it. The food is well prepared and creative. I had a daily special as a starter and then a fish as the main course. My buddy had a salad to start and the gnocchi which he raved about. I really enjoyed my meal and found the accompanying wine just as good. Someone else complained about the portions and pricing in another review. I do have to agree that portions are on the smaller side and pricing is definitely at the higher end of the spectrum. I don't feel that the place is a rip-off or anything along those lines though nevertheless. It's not true gourmet eating but it's also not your every day, stop in for a bite place. If you come with those expectations, and knowing the area, you won't be blown away by the price. We had starters, mains, two glasses of wine each, two bottles or water and two espressos to complete the meal. Total cost was a touch over 100 Euro which is totally fine in my opinion for the quality of food, quaintness of the location and polite, professional service. I'm definitely coming back with the wife.
I do recommend reserving, as once there is no longer outdoor seating or the weather turns, there aren't all too many tables inside and the place seems quite popular. There's also no parking on site so you had to search around on the street a bit but it's always easy enough to find something without walking all too far.
