Doris is a fabulous boutique market, with excellent produce and a wide variety of not common place imports, plus normal standard items you'd expect a a good grocery store. Two days ago I bought horse radish root for Passover @ $6.99. Today, I needed more, but the price had jumped a dollar to $7.99. I get it, inflation, trucking, gas, supply and demand. Still, while grateful they had what I needed, I felt a little bitter about the price increase one day before Passover. A sign of the times. Hikes are everywhere. It won't stop me shopping there. They have exceedingly friendly staff and it's actually a nice store.

Doris is a wonderful market! Vegetables and fruits are really fresh and clean. Thanks to Rafael to keep the veggies clean and well organized. Pasta, sauces and cheese are very nice. Prepared food is delicious. Bakery is the best. Reasonable prices. I love to shop here. I can spend hours walking around the market because I love the fresh fruit smell of this place, it's magic to me👍😀❤

Great Italian Market. Large bakery, produce, meat, and specialty foods sections. Love the freshly made cakes and cookies. Butcher will cut your meat to order. They also have the best sausages in town. Fresh salad bar is open again. Their famous homemade entrees and soups are in the frozen section, that you can heat and serve. Highly recommend. 👌 :)

This place is just inexplainably fabulous,,the bake shop, meat counter and prepared foods I could spend hours looking at and buying things I haven't seen since my childhood, nevermind the actual groceries....I went today, got some rum babas(with extra rum of course), cookies, bread, eggplant caponata and had to stop cuz my fridge is kinda full... it's like walking into all my Italian aunts house when I was a kid...I'm gonna clean out my fridge and head back fo more goodies...

Went on Friday night just to pick up a few things so I decided I wanted some seafood it was only me and another guy waiting to be served there were 3 staff members as light as I am neither of the 3 saw me..then the unpleasant manager came over and asked if I had a number I said no and neither did he there are now 4 of you and only 2 of us and all 4 of you are serving that gentlemen. They were rude and I now know what racial profiling is for sure. I would never go back there again Racial and unpleasant experience unprofessional staff and manager

Although food and variety are good, they have awful customer service They charged me a lot for bakery items never purchased. Had to drive all the way back to have corrected. Requested a mgr but they sent” Tommy”. He was unapologetic, and made it seem like I was an inconvenience to him. He didn’t listen to me either. He came back with incorrect info. Told cashier to issue a return and walked away. I then called a mgr and he apologized but still made excuses that supervisor is overly busy. I am not sure if I will return. I was inconvenienced and wasted my gas to get corrected as well as my time off.

Doris hot prepared food has really gone down in quality. On our past couple of prepared food orders (vodka penne and meatballs) and from the soup bar (chicken soup) we noticed the vodka sauce was noticeably rancid and the soup was very greasy and salty. If you go to Doris, go for the baked goods, salad bar and coffee shop. Note to Doris management - please bring back your healthy and fresh prepared food!

Nice selection of products, but poor customer service and quality. We bought a crumb cake on the "sell by" date, but when we went to eat it the next day it had gone bad. We returned it and were told that the "sell by" date is actually the "good until" date and that they use no preservatives so it has to be eaten before the sell by date. Either the product is mislabeled and should have said "consume before" or "expires on" - or more likely we just got a bad product which occasionally can happen. No big issue except they refused to stand behind the product and have now lost a customer. The staff really needs customer support training to understand that one bad experience with a product can be easily fixed by standing behind it but one bad experience with rude or uninformed staff will cause the customer to look elsewhere.

Yelp
I'm mad that it took me 5 years to make it over to this shop. It has so much to offer and the food is of very good quality. The service was helpful and friendly from all staff members. The ambiance is that of an Italian market, with fresh vegetables, dry goods, fresh pastries, fresh bread, fresh meat and fish, and a decent wine collection. I will definitely be returning ASAP!

JC R.

Yelp
The staff is very helpful walked in to explore the place and walked out with 2 Italian recipes, hamantash in every flavor (raspberry& apricot were my favorite) and a happy husband who ordered a steak sandwich at the deli counter. They have an outdoor seating area to enjoy your treasured findings. For my husband it was the steak sandwich they grill in house... the far back is a deli with prepared meal options and sandwich bar. They have a fantastic meat market as well the bakery goods were definitely something I will be going back for... fresh baked breads, desserts they even had cannolis & turrón This market has enough produce & deli to do your weekly shopping should you wish. Produce looked very nice and in abundance impressed to see they make in house fresh mozzarella and carry 00 Italian flour

Yelp
You immediately walk in and it smells like my Italian Mama's house . The aroma of the garlic as you walk in, the lunch meats, cheeses and such. Doris has an amazing variety of Italian and American foods . Rented a house and we came to bring some items to our VBRO We got Italian sausage with and without fennel. Imported provolone cheese, marinated artichoke hearts, a piece of porchetta, 1/4 lb of Parma Prosciutto, and some other things. Their new fresh herbs looked wonderful. 2 complainants, the prices are so much more then I pay back in Chicago and the staff that I interacted with a man in produce and a woman at the deli were not very friendly . Next visit to FL, I will still hax

Yelp
We hosted a company event with catering from Doris Italian Market. They were fantastic to work with. Food was delicious. It was in time and hot. The presentation of appetizers was great. We will be repeat customers!!

Yelp
So very excited to find this Italian Market, everything I can't find at supermarkets are here. Excellent customer service , friendly and polite . Wish there was one closer to me . Excellent food , fresh , clean and neat and orderly . Love it here

Yelp
This was my first visit to this amazing grocery store and it was noting less then awesome-amazing. It's a very big parking lot and one of the few times we had to look for a spot because of how busy this center is. You walk inside and all you see are isles and isles of food. The place is big and bright, not like your regular supermarket, but exactly like your specialty grocery store. I was shocked at the amount of selection of products they have here. (see photos). Loved their fresh seafood, meat, deli and bakery counters. loved the selection of cakes and cookies. They also have a great selection of fruits and vegetables. They have just so much to choose from. All their staff members are extremely friendly and helpful. In a place like this where so much is being served to you it's really important that the people behind the counter truly enjoy working with the customers. We purchased prepared meals. They had every meal you can think of and wound up with Chicken Marsala, Francaise and Eggplant. Next time we're there we will definitely try some other items. After visit one, I can highly recommend this store. You can tell that everyone shopping here was a seasoned "Doris Italian Market & Bakery" shopper Kudos to the management and team here.

Yelp
I gotta take out my time to say this to the girls in the bakery department they surely do put in their effort to make or do wonderful cakes like they just did a cake for my brother and sister-in-law they did a wonderful job doing that so whoever works in the bakery all the credit goes out to everyone in that department by doing a wonderful job thanks and thank you I do appreciate it and so do they meaning my brother and sister-in-law you made there day more special to them last night

Yelp
This is a review based on catering - About a week before my daughters birthday, I went in person and placed a catering order. We were expecting about 20 guests and ordered; a half tray of chicken parm, a half tray of baked ziti and a meatballs marinara. (It was the perfect amount of food). I requested the food to be hot and ready for pickup but when my friends went to pickup the order, the food wasn't even ready. I panicked! But Doris came through. They delivered the food hot and just about 30 minutes later then the party started - which was fine, as our guests weren't on time. They made the serving of the food bigger and threw in some cannolis, all at no additional cost. Everyone was raving about how good the food was. This was our second catering order with Doris. For the price, the quality and quantity of food and the experience, we'll continue to cater with Doris. Thanks for making it right!

Yelp
Great store with great produce, meats and fish. It's a gem for Italian specialty products with an awesome staff.

Daniela A.

Yelp
Went to Doris for the first time yesterday and bought a couple of things. One of them being a horseshoe apple dessert. It seemed fine upon purchase but the next afternoon when we went to cut it we found it covered in mold. Disappointed and honestly makes me weary to purchase anything else from the store, I will not be shopping there again.

Yelp
The worst of the worst of the worst. Save your money. The quality of food is is the worst. The store is dirty and management is horrible. Go anywhere else but doris's!!!

Raizel H.

Yelp
What a gem. From the food selection to the people that work there. We have had premade food and meats for home cooking and all are very well made and fresh. Pleasant market, fresh and just delicious.

Keith B.

Yelp
Great selections on meat and seafood. The deli and bakery are phenomenal. The staff are always friendly and very helpful. Love Doris Italian Market.

Yelp
We seem to visit this little market every couple weeks for some Braciola or steak or protein for a family meal. Today the visit was for bakery items as kids wanted to build a basket of goodies for grandpas birthday visit. We found several lovely treats and some had some real good value too. Elephant Ears, Raspberry Cigars, Apricot Flying Saucers, and cheese pastries too. Employee was a little snippy when we asked for item that was not yet wrapped, but overall we were happy we arrived early and all items appeared new and fresh. --- since heading to grandpas we could not grab the awesome cannoli filling as needs to remain cold. Must try this or the cannoli chips and filling sold in cold case, trust me ! The cashiers are always pleasant and fun to interact with. They care about the experience. You will also find a couple unique items or brands on each visit. We found some specialty pretzels on this visit that kids could not wait to try ....

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised! It's the best Italian market in Southeast Florida! I bought chicken, ribs and steak.........all great. My friend bought Italian sausage and she loved it! Everything was fresh and reasonably priced. Lots of selections and the store was clean and well stocked. I'm from Pompano but it was well worth the trip!

Laura M.

Yelp
This is a fantastic Italian market located in Coral Springs. They have several locations and I've been to all of them. I think this is the largest with the most inventory. When you walk into to this market you will notice the store is spotless and everything looks delicious! I have shopped here for many years and have never been disappointed in any purchases. We have also catered from here for super bowl Sunday and it was delicious. This market has a wonderful fruit and vegetable department. They always have a very large assortment of vegetables to choose from and everything is fresh and delicious. The butcher section always has cases of fresh meats. The butcher will do custom cuts and they will always ask you if you want your meat freezer wrapped which is convenient. In the Deli area, In addition to all the cold cuts, they have all kinds of prepared foods, salads etc. They have all kinds of cheeses, olives and my absolute favorite which you can't leave without, the fresh homemade mozzarella! My favorite area of the store is the bakery. I never leave without getting some delicious Italian bakery items. They have all kinds of cakes, cookies, cream puffs, breads, etc. my favorite being the cassata cake. They will make any special order cakes for special occasions, birthdays etc.,they also have gelato. I have always found the employees to be friendly and helpful. There is a very large parking lot that is shared with all the other stores of this busy shopping center. Parking can be a pain but you will always find a spot near the store. People are constantly coming & going. This market gets e extremely crowded on the weekends and especially crowded around the holidays. I highly recommend you go during the week if at all possible. It's definitely worth the trip! After re-locating to the Tampa area I really miss Doris'. We do have Mazzaro's Italian Market in St. Petersburg but it can't compare to Doris'. Whenever we go back to South Florida I always put a big cooler in my car and stop at Doris before heading home. I REALLY miss this market and wish they would open a store in the Tampa area!! I know it would be a goldmine!

Carol S.

Yelp
I am just visiting from Cincinnati and came to find this market next to planet fitness. I was not expecting too much and was really surprised when I entered this store. The more I walked around to see this market the more I was impressed. The amount of selections of fruits, vegetables, baked goods deli choices, meats blew me away. Everything looked very appealing to the eye. The prices were really not out of line for the quality that was available. If I lived here in South Florida I would definitely be a customer of this chain of stores.

Jeff S.

Yelp
We came here primarily to check out the baked goods but picked up a lot of Italian specialty items simply because they looked great. I'll start off with the parking, which is a nightmare. The lot is tight and it's full of old farts making unpredictable turns and stops. One guy almost reversed into me as he pulled out of his spot and I witnessed a other car nearly run over a lady who failed to stop and look both ways at the crosswalk. It was pretty wild there. First impression of the store itself was positive. The design is a little dated, but it was very clean, the products look great, and all of the employees saw were wearing masks as they served customers. The customer service attitude was friendly and helpful. You can tell that the owners and managers care about their store and trained the workers well. As I mentioned, we came and picked up some Italian rainbow cookies, rum cakes and other pastries, but as I walked through the store I decided to get some nice looking olives, Italian deli meats, cheeses, clotted cream (hard to find) and some absurdly expensive made in Italy soda. The pricing is definitely on the very high end so be prepared. But in a specialty store like this, located in Boca on top of it, you have to expect that.

Anton B.

Yelp
Let me start by saying that we have been happy customers for 20 years now. Great weekly specials on Boar's Head . The one thing that really bothers me is the "Managers Special"! It is very misleading and false advertising! Actually the cold cuts they put on there are NOT at a special at all, they are at regular price. By placing that sign right under the actual specials leads customers to assume that it is also being sold at a special price. In fact when I asked the deli employees what's so special about the "Managers Special" , they said "NOTHING". Wow! So full price, just there to get customers to buy. Seems misleading, just saying. Otherwise I would have given them a 5 review.

Stephen E.

Yelp
This is the perfect little grocery store. They have everything you need, good quality stuff. They have a bakery, butcher shop & deli counter. I've been to two of their locations, this one in Coral Springs and the one in Boca. There's also a nice produce section that I love. Whenever I can, I try to shop local and support our Mom N Pop style businesses.

Ira R.

Yelp
Once again, spectacular. I needed a 7-bone pork roast (like a crown roast) but none were on display. The meat manager was off that day (a Monday), and the "regular" front guy really didn't know what to tell me. This hunk of meat is usually sliced and sold as pork chops, but I wanted an entire slab whole. He said there's a butcher in the cutting room who could help me, but his English wasn't great. I speak fractured Spanish because my wife is Venezuelan, so I said please bring him out. Well, he was from Peru (sorry I don't remember his name), and after speaking with him, out he comes with the most beautiful whole pork roast I've seen in my life. Life doesn't get any better than this! Now if only they didn't make their garlic bread so damn good that they often sell out, I would be like a pig in s**t!

Julie F.

Yelp
This market really is a wonderful small trip back to the past...where they had separate departments for everything and you could actually talk to the butcher or the baker and have a conversation about your purchases. We were in the area, we'd been there before a few times and had seen a recent ad, so decided to check then out. First off their produce department is just gorgeous! The fruits and vegetables are displayed like art work. Surprisingly the prices on most items are very good. Better than Publix, et al. And if you get something on sale, they really are a bargain for the quality of the items. Best prices today were on tomatoes, eggplant, jersey peaches and nectarines. In the dairy section, freshly grated Romano called my name. Even jumbo eggs were rightly priced. Their bakery is too tempting to even go near... and their in-house deli items are also wonderful but a little pricey. Their meat department is again gorgeous. They had a sale on ground chuck that was dollars below Publix. If you have a freezer come here to stock up. They had ground Australian lamb -- that you can't find many other places -- that called my name. The display case was empty -- just the sign --so they ground up some fresh for me. Another customer heard me ordering and asked for some too. They have a small wine department. We were looking to find a type of wine we'd had at a local restaurant. A guy came over to help, searched through the inventory, even offered to go in the back and check for us. Now that's service! If only we lived closer, I would definitely come here more often. But watch the paper, when you see their full page ads and specials, make sure to visit. Buon appetito!

Anthony R.

Yelp
The butcher shop and bakery are excellent. Has pretty much all the Italian specialties that you need at a reasonable price. The ladies at the registers are great and remind of N.Y.

Katherine G.

Yelp
I visit this Doris several times per week. The staff is very consistent and friendly. I buy a few pounds of cookies for my office very often and we love all of the baked goods! I have to say kudos to Doris...the other night I went in about 6:45 and they close at 7. I hate to show up so late, but I needed cold cuts. As I was finishing at the deli, closing time was rolling around. A bakery employee came up to me and asked if I wanted anything from the bakery before she left. A few moments later, another bakery employee who was leaving also offered to go back and help me in the bakery if I needed. I thanked them, but declined. I think that the level of customer service was amazing. This is rarely seen and I thank you!

Wendy H.

Yelp
Excellent customer service and a wonderful selection of food. The bakery is outstanding as well as the deli and butcher departments. The staff is welcoming and very helpful. An absolute pleasure to shop at Doris Italian Market and Bakery.

Dr. Richard M.

Yelp
It is difficult to find an Italian market in Florida, especially a good one. This is one of the best. From fresh veggies, meats, and seafood, to bakery and prepared items, this store has all kinds of Italian foods. The bakery has delicious pastries like cannolis. Fresh baked Italian breads snd cookies. The deli dept has fresh made salads, rice balls, cheeses olives and made to order sandwiches. The meat dept has cut to order pork, and beef items. The store has several isles of canned and packaged italian specialty items. Pastas, sauces, peppers, salami, olive oils, spices and more. The fruit and veggie section has a large selection with emphasis on Italian. Hard to find items like artichokes, escarole, and eggplant are usually available.

Marqus R.

Yelp
I'm not Italian, but I'm enough like one that I happen to take the flavors and tastes of my food, especially when I'm doing the cooking, very, very, very seriously. So, that is what leads me to Italian specialty shops like Doris Italian Market & Bakery. What is labeled as Italian or what is put out as Italian in most super market like places might be OK with a Jersey Shore Italian, but trust me on this, it would wrinkle the nose of those in Italy. It's this that causes me to make 13 mile drives to places like Doris. On this day I had decided upon preparing a Veal Marsala, and the first rule to good Italian cooking is the freshest and best of ingredients. Hence, I was confronted with the problem of obtaining some decent veal. Yes, I know they have veal at some Publix stores, but not all of them (the one in Wilton Manors comes to mind), and if they do it either has been graded of it is it's all a choice, not prime cut. Then probably not milk feed and as with all Publix stores brought into the stores prepackage. Some stores other than Publix even try to pass off lesser grades known as "good" or "standard" or cuts that have never been graded since it costs money to grade meats, so selling them without any grading is cheaper. So going to Doris was worth the trip for me as I found a veal that was milk fed labeled as "Prime Veal" (applicable grading for sales in both the USA and Canada) for $17.99 a pound. That might sound stiff in price but actually only a dollar more than the Publix $16.99 price for choice, but for those with discriminating tastes, a world of difference. There are other good things I like about Doris. It's spotlessly clean, the product is lush and gleaming and the staff polite, pleasant and helpful. If there are any downsides, for an Italian specialty store I thought their wine selections rather skimpy and weak, especially with their Marsala. But with so many regional wines of Italy, not bad as there are so many Italian wines, having them all would be more than overwhelming. Though Doris comes nowhere near the mercatos of Italy, Doris's along with a few small specialty shops like Guido's (I usually shop Guido's) is the best we're ever going to get. Hence, WooHoo! As good as it gets, 5 Stars.

Aimee O.

Yelp
The woman at the bakery has such a bad attitude. Looks around totally ignoring your presence as she's answering your questions. She was rude and rushed me while i ordered, so much so that I forgot to ask her to write 'Happy Birthday' on the cake that I bought. Honestly, judging from her attitude, she would have rolled her eyes at me if I asked. This will definitely be the last time I shop at this location.

Donna R.

Yelp
I was quite disappointed this time, I went to the bakery where I always buy their elephant ears only to bring them home to take one bite and were stale. While I was there I also purchased a strawberry shortcake slice for my husband as a surprise because he hasn't been eating much. He commented as well, these are hard as a rock, they're stale. I wanted to have one with a cup of tea, oh well. Take them back and let the manager take a bite into that rock!!!!

Nola F.

Yelp
I go to Doris Italian Market about once per month. This location is sort of small and cluttered. I only buy certain things here such as their Italian bread, some cookies or pastries, rice balls and knishes. Many of their staple goods are very overpriced. I have seen where things are at least 50% more than other stores, such as Rao's pasta sauces. I don't see the point of buying those things here, paying a lot more money for the same exact item I can get elsewhere. Not just a dollar more per item either. So, I really do not shop the middle of the store. I have bought produce here before and their prices are pretty good in this apartment. Produce was fresh. But they don't have unique fruits and vegetables. It is more of your basic necessities. Their rice balls are very good. They are big and stay together. They are not falling apart like some of them do elsewhere. Some of their desserts are Hit or Miss. Their "pretty" cake is very pretty, but tastes a little cheap. Their butter cookies are just okay. Their black and white cookies are delicious. Their rye bread and Italian bread are always fresh. I enjoy their prepared foods and bakery departments most.

Yelp
I was searching years for good Italian food to have at home from a market. It took 6 years for someone to tell me about this place being NY style! Of course I had to check it out! Up in NYC, we call it coldcuts (deli meat, lunch meat, etc.) and they understand in there because many of the staff are from NY. You don't even have to ask; you can hear the accent. This was the first Doris location I have visited and I do like it. I have only been to the one in Sunrise but I feel this location is larger and has more to offer. This place is great because I find all delicious Italian meats, cheeses, and wine all in one place. The staple items I get is their homemade marinara sauce, homemade mozzarella, focaccia, rainbow cookies, and always 2-5 cheeses lol. Judy provides samples of items across from the cheese display. Judy is the coolest, friendliest, and helpful person in that store! Not to say no one is helpful but I have spent more time socializing with Judy than anyone else in that store! The prices are very reasonable. I usually spend $50 minimum when I visit. If you sign up for their newsletter, you receive coupons randomly. I have used probably 10-15 coupons in the 3 years I have been going! The food is delicious and the items in the bakery are made there. FYI- you can get espressos at the bakery, along with gelato!! They provide catering and custom made cakes as well. I know when I finally have my PhD party, I'm getting them to cater!

Angela M.

Yelp
As the esteemed duchess of this location (LOL- totally kidding), I must say, this is the finest of all of the Doris' locations! The produce is mostly always fresh, and is cheaper than a lot of other stores I've ever seen. They have the best selection of fresh herbs, oregano, tarragon, basil, parsleys, cilantro, culantro, dill, etc. it's definitely a noteworthy mention! The citrus is very cheap compared to Publix. Today it was 3/$1 pink grapefruits, 2/$1 Florida honeybells or navels, and they had gorgeous Fl tomatoes for $0.79/lb! In addition, they have the best Doris bakery! They have loaves of breads sliced for sandwiches, rolls, biscuits (plain buttermilk or with raisin), coffee cakes, bobkas, and pastries and cakes galore!! Growing up, my dad always used to buy the Napoleons- and those still remain at the top of my favorites! I also love their traditional mix of Italian cookies... so nostalgic of childhood! Get a Chinese cookie (odd name, but amazing cookie). Specific to this location, they also have a gelato counter. Their meat selection is amazing- beef cuts, pork cuts you didn't even know existed, and even boneless turkey breasts ready to cook. We love this as we recently purchased a smoker, and can find almost anything here! They also have a killer pre-made food section incase you don't wish to cook, and a nice salad bar too! They sell wine and champs, and have a pretty impressive craft beer selection. I love coming here, as I've been going to Doris since I was a little girl. But this location is definitely more special than the others!

Laura G.

Yelp
I have been a loyal customer at Doris's for over 15 years. I hate to write this negative review, but I need to tell the customers, that if you have an issue with the Coral Springs store, they do not reply to your correspondence, I called the store directly, they promised to get back to me with a resolution. I never heard from them, so I emailed corporate and still have not heard any response. The issue is a discrepancy in charging my credit card. This could have been resolved easily but no one is responding. I am now looking for a new Italian market to shop at since they could not give me the courtesy of a call back or a resolution to the problem. Such a disappointment but I can't have my credit card charged the wrong amount and let the proprietor think it's ok to keep my hard earned money.

Richard S.

Yelp
Very good gourmet market featuring Italian items. Bakery, deli fish and meat departments are great. This Doris has an amazing wine selection.

Rodolfo C.

Yelp
Little gem in sunrise. The meats/seafood here are super fresh and don't miss out on their homemade dressings and marinara!

This place is absolutely amazing. I love coming here. Fresh meat, fresh seafood, just an amazing selection overall. I absolutely love the selection in the bakery as well and the fact that you can order a cappuccino and shop around. They make homemade fudge which is to die for, it's usually buy two get one free - sounds like a lot of fudge but believe me it'll be gone by the time you realize it. They have pretty good specials and the chicken is excellent quality. Try their egg salad, or maybe not...this way I can have it all to myself! Highly recommend this place!

Yelp
There's still a huge problem with tares improperly calculated in the deli. It's equivalent to being owed 90 cents of change but they hand you 3 quarters and expect you to happily go on. And this happens now multiple times per visit, seriously that regularly. Doris is an expensive but it's a high quality deli. They offer fresh made cheese, fudge, and they have a very impressive case of deli house-made items that are top quality. Their deli/seafood and meat staff are top-tier and helpful and cashiers the same. They literally know every ingredient or can find it out very quickly by asking a coworker. If there's any allergy questions they have a definitive answer almost immediately. Then there's the tare which makes my OCD go wild. Either put a sign out front to not allow OCD people like me in or just accept that when they pick nickels out of my pocket I really do feel like a victim and dont want to return. I'm not confrontational enough to complain about this immediately in person but my passive aggressiveness has really made this place a last-choice option for me as of recently. Whoops, I'll accidentally charge my customer extra money because they wont notice isn't that cool from the customer's side. I've left and deleted a review nearly identical to this before, but since the owner was very personable and nice I did deleted it since it seemed like a fluke. I'm honestly just going back to any other of the 10 grocery stores within 3 miles of my house instead literally because of this reason. If you shop here you'll be happy with their friendly staff and great food. Just be prepared for them to somehow take 50 cents from you without consent. Not coming back based on that principle. A slogan i seriously live by is it's not about the money but it's about the principle

Yelp
Doris is THE SPOT! This mid-sized Italian market is a one-stop shop for all your grocery needs. You'll find items you already shop for, and a ton of new ones with some Italian flare. There are 3 sections of the grocery store that stand out to me. 1. Wines & Beers - Italy is known for its wine, so you are bound to find a classic native wine to your liking, with prices in all ranges. They did a beer sampling here, and I was so impressed with the Italian beer that I ended up purchasing. I got a brand called "San Michele", which had pale ales to darker brews. Even one which was promoted as a "barbecued" flavor. That one was a bit bitter. 2. Food counter - Your eyes will just OPEN and your mouth DROP at the delectable cooked portions in the glass. Everything just looks so good. Great for catering ideas. Also just great for a take out meal for dinner. 3. Bakery - The absolute best part! They have so many mouthwatering goodies here, majority filled with Canoli cream, which they make just so dang good. They sell their cream in the bakery actually, and Canoli shells. But they don't reserve it to just canolis, like I said, the cream is in a ton of the desserts! The desserts I just have to point out are the Rumbaba, which is a pound cake drenched in rum, with Canoli cream in the middle; and, the Venezia, which has a piece of cake and Canoli cream sandwiched in between flaky nutmeg/cinnamon flavored crusts. Ridiculous! This is truly one of the best bakeries around. Doris is an unassuming foodie haven. In addition to these 3 areas, their cheese section is plentiful and awesome too. They'll even cut samples of whichever you'd like. Now, I will say their customer service is lacking. The 2 times I've gone, I've gotten a pretty lackluster energy. But I don't care. The food and drinks make up for that in this great Italian market!

Yelp
I've been a fan for a long time. I love to find a market with unique items and Doris's has many. As I peruse the isles, so many things jump out but I have to control my desire to take it all. This is all before I get to the bakery. OMG! The bakery is one of my favorite with the variety of sweet treats. I always need a pignolo! On this visit I found a selection of hamentashen. I never expected this but had to take one. The filling selection was easy... traditional poppy seed, apricot, raspberry or prune. Of course, prune.... my childhood favorite. Delicious! The merchandise and selection are a five but watch the pricing. I don't come here for a bargain or discount shopping. Actually, I find some of the prices on the high side so I can't come in as often as I would like. Happy (informed) shopping!

Yelp
The bakery portion, what can I say...well I'm orig from NJ/NY, some of the best bakerys in the US. Doris's is just as good if not better, they have the best assortment/variety I've ever seen. They have a cannoli cake called Cassatta cake, touch of rum with slivered almonds on top, to die for, with approx. 10 other specialty cakes. They also have made to order for any occasion. Pastries...you won't be able to chose, all are amazing. Italian cookies, too many to pick from, super fresh. They are NEVER out of pignoli nut cookies, these are rare in most parts of So. FL. They have hot/cold food catering as well, there's nothing that I have ordered from them that we or our guests didn't like.

Yelp
Gelato heaven in Coral Springs! Fresh, not frozen; eight rotating flavors in the deli/bakery section. Offered in three different sizes: small, medium, large -- $2.99, $3.99, $4.99. (If I recall correctly.) Really nice that you don't have to purchase a huge portion if all you want is a smooth, creamy, sweet, cool, delicious little treat. (And the small size is still a hefty scoop.) Tried to get gelato at the Pembroke Pines location, but they only have the frozen stuff. Good, but not nearly the same experience as fresh scooped.

Yelp
I love Doris Market in Boca and shop there several times a month. Their fresh meat, fish, produce, bakery and deli are well stocked and well priced. I tried Joseph's market in Delray and their prices are much higher in every category. Some of their sales staff are not as friendly as Doris staff. My only suggestion to Doris market is build a Larger store like the one in PBG and you'll put Joseph's out of business . The Pepe's

Yelp
So i ordered a paw patrol cake for my son it was a very being outcome! Beautiful... but when my guests and i ate a piece of the cake it was soooooo dry i was so embarrassed because everyone started asking me for a glass of milk to swallow the cake! Thats why i gave it 2 stars dry cake but as for the design it was a 5 for sure!

Yelp
We went to your store for good Italian items m. You failed ! The Mozzrella was rubbery, the tomatoes tasteless and the crab cakes are not good at all. You need to pay attention to quality here. Look to Tittl Brothers on Arthur for inspiration.

Yelp
Been here several times when lived in the area. Now I come here from the east once in awhile for the bakery! It's a cute Italian market that is best for their bakery/pastries area, prepared food, produce and meats. I personally do not buy any of the meats because they lack organic grass fed but it looks fresh. Same for the produce. They have no organic but it looks fresh. They are always busy and have a couple locations including Boca Raton and Sunrise!

Yelp
Unbelievable from the produce to the bakery to the cheeses do I need to go on. I just wish they would open up in East Fort Lauderdale . I was on a mission I wanted the Chevrolet (sp ) not the car this is pork sausage with mozzarella cheese and parsley it's very thin wrapped circle n circle it's so good and they have it in turkey too , so I bought three I also bought a slice of seven layer cake can't wait for that it looks so yummy. The store has so much. You just want to put everything in your cart . The different kinds of cheese, all the nieces like having your own butcher the bakery I can't say enough it's a great store with good food and the prices are reasonable .

Yelp
This is by far my favorite grocery and meat store!!!!!!!!!!! They have tons and tons of pre made dishes packaged and not packaged. They have a deli, cheese area, a bakery and meat area. Frozen section of their pre-made dishes, meats, etc. They have wines and specialty beer. Their produce and vegetables are really low prices! They have fresh fudge. They have everything!!!!!!!!!!!!! You have to go and experience a Doris store One time and you'll be hooked! Leave with TONS of yellow bags lol lol
