Phenomenal dining experience. Refined yet relaxed atmosphere and decor. Server Guillaume was the best waiter I have had in a restaurant, very attentive and knowledgeable. Food was exceptional. Delicious variety of appetizers (I recommend the Mille fueille with chicken liver mousse) and pasta. Both seafood and steaks were cooked and seasoned excellently. Cocktails were very good as well, with a broad selection of wine, my personal favorite was the Negroni with olives. Dessert left much to be desired was our only gripe with this other excellent restaurant. Bathrooms and facilities were also in notably great condition. This was one of the best dining experiences all around I've ever had. This restaurant alone can make a trip to Montreal worth it.

Had a good experience at Dorsia. Heard a lot about it and was happy to try it out. First of all - the place is truly beautiful, well designed and tasteful layout. The service was good. We tried a few different dishes. The highlight was the red beet agnolotti and tuna carpaccio were standout dishes: unique presentation, texture and flavours.

We had an amazing overall dining experience at Dorsia tonight. Did the 4 course tasting menu, all of the dishes were fantastic, the decor is beautiful, and service here was flawless. This truly is a special restaurant to visit for a special occasion, we were blown away tonight and would highly recommend it here!

Phenomenal experience at Dorsia!. While it was a pre-set menu for valentine's day, it did not disappoint. The highlight however, is the attentive staff, be it the servers, hostesses or mixologist, they all distinguished themesleves with their care and attention to detail. Special shout-out to Sebastien at the bar, who was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable- made our experience memorable.

This restaurant was really great, it was fancy and high end, but the food was excellent and not in tiny portions like most other high end restaurants. It was the perfect amount of experimental but flavourful, they didn’t have any crazy odd food pairings, so its safe for people who don’t have an adventurous palette, but also has some interesting dishes to try if you’re daring.

The atmosphere was nice. The food was really good , however the service was a bit slow. We had to wait almost an hour for our main. I would recommend to try the tiramisu dessert for sure!

That was a 5 stars experience to me and my friend. We had two drinks, both very good. We both had steak tartare for starter (hands down the best tartare I've ever had) which was a pretty decent portion. Then we had two plates of pasta: I purposely picked the simplest one: paccheri with tomato sauce, parmesan cheese, pepper and basil, so you can really tell the quality of the ingredients. It was heavenly, the paccheri were cooked to perfection. My friend had a more elaborate pasta (can't remember now) and it was ridiculously good. We had dessert and the bill was 230$, plus I left 22% tip because the staff was amazing: very attentive and professional without being too stiff as you see in some places that confuse 'high-end experience' with bloated stiffness and too much form. We felt pampered and looked after, just great. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is also beautifully balanced: we got greeted by a really lovely girl who made us feel immediately at home, and took our coats. The interior design is classy and elegant (and I mean elegant, not douchy-bro-gold-chain "elegant"), soft lights and a pleasant crowd on the younger side. I'm taking my girlfriend next week, absolutely loved it. Definitely came for the name (I love the movie) but stayed for the quality of the food and staff. Thank you guys!

I almost never leave reviews, but I have to for Dorsia. This restaurant is nothing short of a full 5.0 rating! My wife and I dined here on a Saturday night and were blown away by the exceptional service, delectable food, and elegant ambiance. The menu—both food and wine/drinks—has something for everyone and at a price that’s highly reasonable for the treat your mouth is about to experience. We had the Caesar salad (possibly one of the best we’ve ever had; picture attached) and cavatelli with duck sausage (again, probably one of the most unique and tasty pastas we’ve ever had). Dessert was similarly amazing—the chocolate mixture, carrot cake, and house-made ice cream were all phenomenal (yes, we had a lot of dessert; don’t judge us). As we wrapped up our meal, the waitress mentioned that the next night would be the first time the restaurant was open on a Sunday. Knowing this, my wife and I immediately canceled our other dinner reservation and returned for a second night in a row on Sunday. The same incredible all-around experience on Sunday. Laurent—the restaurant director—was incredibly kind and knowledgeable, as was every single service member we interacted with. You’d be foolish to pass up on dining here.

We went there, the night before Valentine's day, to celebrate our anniversary, the ambiance was impressive and chic. Our server Guillaume was very professional and competent. We ordered the steak tartare, the agnolotti, the cavatelli and the wagyu striploin, and everything was delicious, but the pasta specifically stood out. We also had the matchatini and the lychee martini and were really tasty. Also, Maude and all the other servers, runners, and bussers were all extremely attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend this spot to anyone who wants a wonderful dining experience in Old Port.

Overall: B // 4 stars Upscale Michelin Guide restaurant featuring a two course lunch set menu, which I was surprised as there were a lot of items they ran out of midweek midday during a nonempty and nonfull service. The restaurant had a comforting ambience with good service, and the food is generally tasty, and I think I just sampled a point that is a standard deviation below the mean. (Beef Tartare: B) - Classic beef tartare mixture with fresh beef and acidic flavor bombs multiple ways. The sunflower seed rice chips are a subtle yet fascinating addition to the classic dish. I do think the presentation is rather dated though. (Pomodoro Pasta: C) - This is my mistake for misunderstanding, but I did not realize the duck pasta substitute without dairy would be a pomodoro sauce with nothing else in the dish. This is a classic tomato sauce with al dente pasta, black pepper, and nothing more, of which I found to be quite barren. Wow, incredible service and incredible dining. We had an amazing time. We were walk-ins and from the moment we entered everyone was accommodating. We sat at the bar but the restaurant was beautiful. We had Cavatappi with duck sausage, glazed carrots and potatoes, delicious bread And a wonderful Chablis

Food is incredible. Service is incredible. Staff are kind and wonderful Steak tartare & pastas will have you running back.
