Dos Olivos Market Dripping Springs

Sucks. I mean TRULY sucks. The food is horrible, and they can't even deliver a complete order when they charge super double retail. There is a reason I'm a Google guide, and in the top 10% of restaurant reviewers, I'm a big guy who eats out a lot and has businesses in the food service industry. In person the food was as lackluster as the "service". We gave th a chance with delivery, and wow, what a disaster. The "steak" was MAYBE a choice cut, not select not prime but was priced like prime, the broccoli had a sauce our dog wouldn't eat, the fries were horrible, the beets looked like they were cut 3 days ago. The Mac and cheese must have been cooking like oatmeal, and we didn't order a wilted buratta salad, but it came that way... Hard hard hard hard pass.

Huge quality drop. Ordered take out (croquettes, pork burger, chicken thighs and Mac and cheese) this past Saturday and the food was a joke. The cod croquettes were the only thing that could get a 4 out of 10. The rest was close to uneatable. Pork burger was dried as the Sahara desert and tasted like red meat, very far away from pork flavor, a one dollar burger tastes better. The chicken thighs blend with no flavor at all. The Mac and cheese was pathetic, the Kraft straight out from the supermarket shelves are 100 times better. Tasted bland with water. If you don't have a proper to go box don't serve. Not worthy.

10 stars! 🌟 Had a late lunch here today and it was super yum! One of the best burgers I’ve ever had, the freshest bun, Caesar salad so fresh & delicious, perfectly dressed. Very friendly server, cute space & lovely covered patio & great (reasonably priced) wines for sale. Highest recommendation! 🌟

We had an amazing meal at Do Olivos on Friday night. I’be come here with one of my friends for lunch but I’d never been here for dinner. The food was beautifully prepared and delicious! The service was impeccable and the whole experience was a 10 out of 10.

Beautiful restaurant! I love the little brown chairs in the corner of the restaurant. I will have to make it my regular table when in town. Plopping down in the chair was fun. I didn’t realize how low it was, so it felt like a ride! 🤣 I had the Mac and cheese and pork belly pecan salad. Both dishes were incredible, but the Mac and cheese stole the spotlight. The noodles were one of a kind. They held the sauce perfectly for great sauce to noodle consistency. I need to know the type of pasta used in the dish, please. It’s simply perfect! Best Mac and cheese ever. Two thumbs up! 👍👍 Oh and Happy National Dr. Pepper Day! Thanks for bringing me back to my roots by being out of Coke 🤣

Everything was amazing! My husband ordered the rib-eye which was perfect as well as the golden potatoes. I had the pasta with white wine and mushrooms which was so flavorful. Great wine list and I had the Dandy Rose. Excellent service! Highly recommend!!

I really wanted to like this place as I’ve tried it twice but disappointed both times. The first time, I went with a group of friends for brunch and everyone got their food at different times. However, everyone was pretty much done eating and our server said my food would be out shortly (in ordered a simple egg breakfast). But I asked him to cancel the order since everyone else was basically done. Very disappointed. I went today. The service was great but I was only one of 3 tables in there. I got the turkey sandwich, ate half there and took the rest home. I was eating the rest at home for dinner and bit into the stem from the avocado. Hurt my tooth and ruined my appetite. I can’t say I would go out of my way to come here again.

We had dinner here last night and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was so good that I cannot decide which one was my fave. The barbecue doughnuts, the beet salad and the patatas bravas are on top of my list. The wine selection is superb and the atmosphere is just right in between romantic and cozy. For a party of three the music was at the right point to talk without having to rise our voices. The one thing they can improve is the time to get our first dishes out, but other than that, just about perfect. We’ll be back!!
