Lovely staff and great food. Explained it all to a couple of Brits abroad. Website is apparently being a pain atm, so here are some photos of the menu. We can thoroughly recommend eating here. Was excellent and very nicely proved. Good portions too.

Great Food! I visted Dos Ricco's along with a friend after sending her a few links of websites. This was after seeing a few restaurants on the WTTW Check Please. We decided to try out Dos Ricco's. We went during lunch time. The restaurant is located in the Lincoln Square area in Chicago. It's a small place, however big enough on taste. We shared chips and salsa and guacamole. The chips were crisp. The salsa arrived to our table warm and tasty. The guacamole was to die for,we both really enjoyed it. My friend ordered the chimichanga burrito. I order the Burrito Suzza. Wow! It was spicy. My burritos was filled with rice, beans, cilantro and cheese, and onions. Of course that kicking spicy sauce. Chef Ricardo Meza warned me in advance. He came out to our table making sure everything was okay with the food. He was very pleasant and enjoyed talking about the food he cooks and general talk. I would recommend this restaurant if you are ever in the Lincoln Square neighborhood.

I was excited to try this place out, thought it would be kind of a Mexican-Asian fusion, but when we got there it was mostly just a Mexican food menu. No big deal, we ordered a margarita and got our food orders in. There were three of us at the table and unfortunately it took about 10-15 minutes to even get our drinks. The place was not that crowded but the margaritas were refreshing. However, when it came to food, each one of our orders came out at a different time. It also took quite a bit of time to get food. My friend ordered the fajitas and his rice and beans didn’t come out until we were about halfway through the meal. We might have just hit it on an off night. Our waitress was very nice and apologized. Then we got the check and realized the margaritas were 13 dollars. I think it was more sticker shock than anything, but I did not feel that the margarita was worth the 13 dollars. The fact that there was no drink menu should have been our first clue as to the ridiculous price. This place is BYOB so I would just bring your own booze if you go in there. The place was very clean and had a good vibe but beyond that I don’t see any reason for us to try it out again.

Friday night and we are the only people in here. The reviews were pretty good so we still went for it but can only assume the owners family and friends helped those reviews. Service was slow despite the fact there were two of us in here and the food was bland and not a lot of it. I hate to give a restaurant that (judging by the lack of customers) is clearly struggling a bad review but this is just not a good place to eat.

Disappointed in the service and the food, don’t think I’ll return. Very expensive margarita didn’t fit the restaurant and came out after 15 minutes, food came out at different times and didn’t get everything at once for the fajitas so wasted half the meal- Ordered steak tacos- looked a little different then I was expecting.

After seeing this was featured on local food show, my wife and I decided to give a try. The chips and salsa were very good and the service is impeccable. I got the steak fajita which were excellent and my wife got the burrito which was also very good! The Margarita I ordered was awfully pricey ($13) for its moderate size. There is also a corkage fee for BYO wine. We liked the food a lot, the ambiance could use some improvement as the kitchen and ceiling are a bit of an eye sore. I'd recommend for take out for sure!

Been here once before and got two burritos (shrimp tempura, BBQ beef) and was pretty impressed. Just stopped by for takeout and I'm blown away. Nachos were amazing, guacamole is tops, burrito bowl was awesome, and the orange chicken burrito was one of the best things I've ever eaten in my life. Cannot recommend this place more.

Overpriced and uninspired cuisine. We went there after all of the recommendations on a relatively slow Tuesday night (only one other table of 2 when we walked in). The staff didn't recommend anything to eat, and when we placed our order we had to send back two of four meals for being made incorrectly. I'd recommend more attention to detail on a slow night, especially for a family of four who could have made this a regular spot!
