Dos Toros Carniceria

Meet is horrible, not good quality meat. The meat was dry and old. We purchased ranchera meat and according to the guy it was fresh meat. The meat was probably precooked in their prepping juice which is Sunny D juice. My mom as always liked the costillas from here, but we will not purchase costillas or ranchera from this location anymore.

Delicious meat my neighbor gave my husband and I a plate. We loved it .so tender and tasty. Definitely going to shop there.

Ooooh laa laa. The best carne asada I've ever had in my life.. and They carry a variety of meats and chickens are marinated. Service was friendly and quick and I walked in and out with everything I needed. Make sure you have them run that carne through the machine, it's tenderizes it and it's so quick and easy to cook and remains juicy.

My dad always came here before he passed away he always spent big money hear because of how tasty their meats, salsa, and avocados are here. Plain and simple if your looking for quality products come here you won't regret it! Thank you Dos Torros

I bought 3 pounds of novillo yesterday before they closed and the guy preparing the meat was in a hurry to leave and ended up putting too much season and now all my fam are throwing up. Talk about patience is a virtue .

A good mini market to get anything you might missed from the big market. They are friendly. I love the avocados they are always good I have never gotten any bad avocados from here.

If I could put no stars, it would be zero. This was my first time going to this location, because a coworker recommended the place never again. This is from 7/29/2023. So, disgusting 🤮🤮 please don't buy from this location.

The meat is good! The season is a little on the sweet side but not bad! It's very expensive compared to to any other markets but it's ok to splurge on food once in a while. I love the costillas

Best meat, any kind you get! I get all my meat here: novillo, costillas de res, costillas de puerco, milanesa, trozos de res.......you name it! They have great quality meat!! My favorite is costillas de res....yummmm!!! And the staff is very friendly, the "carniceros" are super cool and always helpful!

Once upon a time, this was my go to place to go they had the best meat in town flap meat Rachera seems like they changed supplier. This meat is no longer great How it used to be this is the second time this meat comes out bad, feels like a rubber band in your tortilla definitely not worth $14.99 a pound i'd recommend you not to go to this place, Dos toros you lost a customer I would buy about 3 to 4 times a month 7 lbs and over

Best Carne Asada in Los Angeles. I love the way they prepare there meat and after you cook it it tastes great.

Meats are fresh. They have a variety of cuts and choices. Service isn't that great. It seems like the butcher's have an attitude. They answer in a rude manner and seem to try and rush through. Spanish is my second language and can't pronounce certain things correctly. These dudes get irritated fast and correct you almost yelling. I like the fact i can go there for a quick run for my exotic taste in certain meets. I try not to speak much and just get the hell on out. The cashier is sweet and bilingual which makes it cool to be able to communicate.

Their meat is top notch. They have all the sides you need for a cookout. Too bad they're not in my area.

Great customer service, it was great to see free water being handed to customers waiting outside in line. It shows how much small business care for the people they serve. Would be nice to see that from these huge corporate business having there customers waiting outside in +90° weather. Thanks to that small but very huge jester I will continue to shop at this A+++ market. Ps try the salvadorian chorizo, it's always fast to go in my BBQ.

Years ago I was introduced to this meat market and I loved the ranchera. Eve though, it's pricey, i didn't mind paying the $8.49 per lbs. (it's $9.99 per lbs for novillo) because it was really tender and very well seasoned. However, the past two times I've gotten meat , I noticed it's not as good as before .maybe it's been my bad luck that I get hard meat with no taste but it's been so bad that even my family has noticed the lack of quality and we didn't enjoyed it as before I bought meat today for Easter ($100.08 to be exact worth of meat) , and again , the meat was not good . I'm very disappointed but oh well nothing good last forever. Maybe it's time to check out other yelp reviews and find another place .

Favorite place to grab some ranchera for our family bbq's, alway great service. I recommend ordering ahead so you can skip any line at the meat counter.

So I was always a fan of going to their original location and Santa Fe, but this location is easier to get to for me. It's your typical neighborhood market, some goods, some produce. The real gem here is their meat and salsas. It's not cheap, but if you're like me and prefer quality over quantity then you're good to go! My go to cut "lomo de novillo" preparado NOT run through the machine. This cut of meat along with their in-house seasoning will change your carne asada for ever!! The butcher will ask you how think you want your cut and cut it to your specifications. I like it not to thin so it holds well when you grill these bad boys! The taste, tenderness of the meat is beyond compare! You're welcome!

Not going to lie the meat is good but the service is a piece of shit and I'm sorry for my language! I came in with my moms service dog and the carniceros were so dam rude, I heard one of them tell the other carnicero " esa muchacha ya entró con su pedazo de mierda " and honestly I feel that was not necessary, he denied to give me service due to me carrying my dog & after I explained it was a service dog he refused, I sure won't be ever coming in to this place again

This post is for Carlos!!! Ah what an amazing guy! Customer service was ON POINT. I had a crazy experience... of course a lot of alcohol was involved and we were sitting on the outside patio next to the small register and we had a good group. We never ran out of chips, drinks, super courteous, we definitely felt welcomed. To top it off, I had a Camelback with me with over $1000 of personal belongings that I left on the chair! Of course I would forget it, a couple days go by and I call Dos Toros, ask for Carlos and he finds the bag, constant communication, ensured the bag was there. Nearly 4/5 days later when I have a chance to pick it up I see him and he is still super courteous with all his guest! People like him are what truly make a difference of a visit at a restaurant become an experience! We will always go back to Dos Toros over any other bar there because of this. Thanks Carlos!

Best spot around for carne asada. They marinate it as soon as you order it with their special mix of Sunny D and powder seasoning. Every time we bcue our guest look forward to this meat. I recommend the fresh guacamole and habanero salsa.. they are delightful. They also have their location off Santa Fe, however this one is my favorite.

The best carnicería in HP the best beef I ever had been having this since I was a little girl and still having it, now my kids love it too, I go to Santa Fe or the new location on Gage same owner the best quality and prices are worth it. Love this place

This place marinates their meat in Sunny Delight. I saw the bottles of Sunny D and couldn't believe my eyes. It was too late to cancel the order so i gave it a shot. Never again.

Needed meat for a next day event, called at 7pm and asked if they could have the meat ready by the time I got there. I told the lady who answered I was 15 min away, she said i would need to hurry because they close at 730, told her Yelp says they close at 8! She responded with attitude....fine I said I would be there around 715 if they didn't want to get the meat ready I would still be there around that time . She told me again to hurry cus they were going to close soon. I told her thanks for nothing and went to another place. TRY LA CARNICERIA IN South Gate, better service and better meat.

I just drove from Santa Monica to purchase 15 lbsof asada for tomorrow. That's 20 miles away, 1 1/2 hours in traffic for them to be closed?! CLOSED 22 minutes early?! I even called & they said they'd be open until 8:00pm. I even stopped at the other location at 7:20pm, and that one was closed. WTH!! Not cool!! What type of business are you running?!

The carne here is so thin and juicy. We always order for bbqs here in advance specially on holidays due to long lines. The employees are always so sweet and friendly.

Still the best ranchera around the area. Meat is tender and well seasoned. Pricey but you get what you pay for!

Gf/now wife introduced me to this place. So far one of the best spots in town for marinaded season carne asada (prepared chicken, too). Hard to get to, since road to the place is used by semi. Rough road. Meat is pricey but worth it. Ask for tenderizing. Your guests will love the meat, even vegans will love the meat.

The fact that I can just cross the street to go is great! Their carne asada and guacamole is on point. When you order the carne asada, they'll ask you if you want it marinaded and also passed through the tenderizer. I've also gotten steaks cut to the thickness that I want. The employees there are very nice. Oh and if you're feeling a little adventurous, try their jabonero salsa. I would drink that stuff if I could.

Best freaking meat in LA county but the price it started decent then Lil by lil it sky rocket up had a party and I bought almost 50 lbs everyone love it but they didn't pay for it wish it would go down soon not a every weekend thing only when family from out of town comes then it's Dos Torros Time

One of the best Carnicerias out there, nothing but quality meat. If you are looking for carne ranchera for a Carne Asada with the fam definitely and i mean DEFINITELY go with carne Novillo and ask for it preparada and you will NOT be disappointed i promise you, oh and grab a lil tub of their guacamole, hands down best guac i've had.

Best seasoned carne asada! Since I found out about this spot this is where I go to get my meats! Real fresh all the time and their seasoned meats are on point! A little bit more expensive than other places but the few extra bucks you spend are well worth it. As you eat you'll know where your money went.

If you want some bomb meat Dos Toros is the place to go. It's expensive but worth every dollar! I always get the ranchera for $11.99 and the ribs for $8.99! Yo, the ribs are soooo good!!! Even when you heat them up the next day they taste super good! I won't be buying meat from no where else.

First timer and not disappointed at all. Very good Ranchera meat and will be coming back through out the summer!

Exelent prepared carne asada. Simple the best taste ever, staff is great. Parking is available fresh fruits and vegetables.
