As a years long Dos Toros fan, I’m disappointed by my recent experience at this location. Came on a somewhat busy typical weekday lunch rush. The line moved fast but the food and service were ultimately not up to par. I ordered a chicken bowl with farro, black beans, pico, smoke sauce, guac, and lettuce. In general, the entire bowl was under seasoned, and I was surprised by the lack of flavor in the guac, salsa, and beans. Second, the chicken was slightly undercooked and way over spiced. All in all, it made for a strange and not very appetizing lunch. The service was also hurried and uncaring. It’s a shame, really, as this place feels now like a bad chipotle, when it has always been a steadfast alternative. Hoping it’s just this location and not a lowering of quality in general.
