I went to a fun and tasty event at this Dos Toros location. This location is still relatively new, modern look with clean lines and spacious room. The seating area is quite small, it is more of a carry out type of place, so most of the floor space is allocated for people to line up to order. We enjoyed their Chips & Guacamole, along with their three special sauces. The chips were crisp and fresh, and home-made guacamole was really nice too. Then we got to try some nachos, with very fresh ingredients, quite tasty. But then, we got to try “OG Nachos” from their “secret menu.” It was a mountain of deliciousness, so amazing!!! We then learned about their burritos, such as how their tortilla is customs made, as well as the cheese slice that goes on the bottom. Every ingredients are carefully sourced, especially the meats. They take sustainability super seriously here. Everything we tried was great. Fresh, tasty, with high quality ingredients. I would love to go back for more in a near future!

A little disappointed with the taste of the food but I do think it’s better than Chipotle. The meat portion was very frugal. Tasted like I eat a bean burrito. What I couldn’t stand was something tasted rubbery. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was nice which is not always the case w fast food.

As a years long Dos Toros fan, I’m disappointed by my recent experience at this location. Came on a somewhat busy typical weekday lunch rush. The line moved fast but the food and service were ultimately not up to par. I ordered a chicken bowl with farro, black beans, pico, smoke sauce, guac, and lettuce. In general, the entire bowl was under seasoned, and I was surprised by the lack of flavor in the guac, salsa, and beans. Second, the chicken was slightly undercooked and way over spiced. All in all, it made for a strange and not very appetizing lunch. The service was also hurried and uncaring. It’s a shame, really, as this place feels now like a bad chipotle, when it has always been a steadfast alternative. Hoping it’s just this location and not a lowering of quality in general.

I like Dos Toros, I had never been to this location before. Staff was fine but they seemed like they were overworked a bit. The food was standard fare from DT, good but not amazing (still better than Chipotle). This is probably your best option for a burrito in the area though.

Terrible experience. Cold tortilla . They didn't know how to close the burrito, the steak looked old really small compared to what is shown on the Instagram acct. Extremely disappointed. Now I know why it was empty 😕. Overpriced for the portion I was given.

There are quite a few locations in NYC. My opinion they are better than its competitors national chain that sells burritos and bowls. The people at this location were kind and the portions were generous.

Food is really good. Few employees need to be taught better customer service skills. Rude experience, given attitude for no reason and rushed to order when it wasn't a busy time at all. For that reason alone I wouldn't go back. Management needs to train employees better.
