I stopped by Dos Toros and ordered a carnitas burrito bowl, and it was definitely the best value on the menu. The portion was generous, and the staff didn’t skimp on any of the ingredients, which I really appreciated. The carnitas had great flavor—well-seasoned, tender, and not dry at all. The rice was also really good, cooked well and not just filler like some places tend to do. My friends each ordered a taco, and while they enjoyed them, the portion size difference was pretty noticeable compared to my bowl. If you’re hungry, I’d definitely recommend going for something bigger. The food overall was delicious, and I was especially impressed that the spicy sauce actually had heat to it. It wasn’t just labeled “spicy” with no kick—it delivered. If I ever find myself in this terminal again, Dos Toros will be my first stop.

Google
Oh my Gawd. Delicious burrito. The pulled pork is legit. Tastes exactly like the pulled pork from Mexico. Lots of add-ons. Super friendly staff. Super delicious. A burrito is good for two meals or to share with at least two people 😅 Definitely the best airport food I've ever had from over a dozen airports I've visited 🥰 stop the guessing around, eat at Dos Toros - no bull.. 😅

Google
holy mid rice taste so artificial and packaged and they are so stingy with there portions i had to ask for extra. nothing like chipotle 😭🙏

Google
First time having a Dos Toros which I take to be a small regional chain. Very similar to Qdobas or Chipotles. The food was good but even for airport prices I found them to be a bit steep. Also I didn't like being charged for guacamole.

Google
pretty good, like most have noted it is pricey, but my experience was great. they mentioned upfront that queso is extra, too, though i skipped it because i’m vegan! had the impossible burrito, they packed it to the brim, fair amounts of all ingredients/toppings. definitely would stop here again for a quick, easy vegan bite.

Google
Many gluten free options. The service was very knowledgeable and pointed out which items I can't have. I ended up eating a chicken bowl with rice, black beans, chicken, peppers, guacamole, pico de gallo and cheese. Didn't have any reaction afterwards. Don't take the tacos, these are fried in the same oil as the tortillas.... Overall, good option for a full meal for gluten intolerant guests.

Rob

Google
Chicken burrito bowl was good. The beans could be more flavorful.

Google
What happened to this place? Has management changed? I used to love this place, and as an airline crew member, I purchased my meal from here at every stop I had at LGA. However, the food quality has considerably dropped, and instead, the price has gone way up: $21 for a burrito? Seriously? And that price reflects my crew member discount! I mean, I understand it’s NY, and it’s an airport branch, but the $6-$7 price difference with other branches is insane.

Yelp
Honestly, this place was impressive airport food. I am grateful this was available at LaGuardia because all the other options were fast food or you know won't sit well on a flight. They are generous with their serving sizes, their steak is great and it's fast service. There should be more places like this in airports!
google avatar

Yelp
Adequate airport food. Basically a chipotle/ Qdoba concept. They did have some different ingredient options. Food was relatively tasty but doesn't make a lasting impression.
google avatar

Sarah C.

Yelp
Does what it's supposed to do. Pretty solid breakfast burrito (quite hefty) -- price includes guacamole!

Yelp
It's just chipotle with higher prices and extra steps. I did not like my food at all, and the service was nonexistent. You're yelled at to get your order prepared, and they'll charge you for things because they can't hear you say "no guacamole" over the 6 other people yelling at other customers while they prepare food. Myself and my coworkers all ordered bowls and each of us was charged for things that we told them we didn't want (nor did we actually have the items). I was charged for chips, and they made me open my bag to verify that I didn't have them. Same for my friend who stated that he was allergic to guac so he specifically said "no guac". They opened his burrito to check. They ended up giving us credits, but we said we wouldn't be back and just wanted refunds (my other coworkers burrito was missing MEAT). Like make it make sense. It's an airport restaurant, so you kinda expect it to be at least basically okay. The bar is on the floor, and they'll probably give you food from under it.

Yelp
Airport burrito bowl, what else to expect? It filled me up quickly and was quick to prepare. And added guacamole definitely made my bowl so much more money. Was it worth it? Eh, could've spent less for this normally but lga airport, guess they need to make up the money for the beautiful renovations done in the United terminal.
google avatar

Yelp
Pretty good chipotle-like alternative! Service is quick. Food is prepped quickly, and the food is quite good. It is on the pricier end at about $16 for a steak bowl. If I frequent LaGuardia travel, I would definitely be comfortable knowing Dos Toros is available for quick eats! Follow the adventure @shoyuthebest on IG!

Yelp
We ordered a bowl and burrito and got a bottle of water..... for $43 ?!?!? To top it off the food wasnt even good!! I DO NOT recommend this place! Its just a rip off for bad food!
google avatar

Bob R.

Yelp
Nice people behind the counter are very nice and the portions are enormous. I had the Carnitas Burrito Bowl. For airport food, the carnitas were not too bad. The rice was cold and it clumped together. There were onions, peppers, corn, guacamole, and hot sauce. That made everything else cool down, making the meal not so good. Oh, the hot sauce did have a kick to it.
google avatar

Gretchen B.

Yelp
They make a solid burrito. I have eaten her twice in the two days I have been trying to get a flight out. Would give them 5 stars if a vegetarian burrito didn't cost me almost $18. The melted Monterey Jack cheese on the tortilla really makes this even better tasting.
google avatar

Paul K.

Yelp
Airport food- nothing spectacular, but serviceable Mexican food. I got a burrito bowl with steak and took it on the plane with me. The portion was reasonable and prices weren't exorbitant for an airport.
google avatar

M T.

Yelp
I got a chicken bowl before my flight. A good amount of food even though they put it in a smaller container. The higher airport price is not a bad deal. Line moved quickly.
google avatar

Abby M.

Yelp
Listen, I know it's NY but come on. I paid $22 for this bland, unseasoned, mediocre crap. My jaw nearly dropped when I saw the total. I don't mind paying for good food but this was NOT good or worth the money.
google avatar

Joe A.

Yelp
Don't let looks deceive you. Food was awesome and the people are great. Definitely gonna stop by next time I am around

Yelp
We arrive at LaGuardia around 8, so it was time for breakfast and I found Dos Toros in the food court. The only breakfast item they had was a Breakfast Burrito, so I ordered it. The Burrito contains potatoes, eggs, beans, bacon, Guac, Pico De Gallo ND Sour Cream. For an extra charge I added Carnitas. The finished product was huge and delicious. I ate half and will have the other rest for tomorrow's breakfast. If you want a filling breakfastthan this is a great place to eat breakfast.
google avatar

Kate M.

Yelp
Honestly, considering this is airport takeout food, it's really good, and they were moving the line quickly. Everything seemed fresh and it was a great pre-flight meal.
google avatar

Tova B.

Yelp
super expensive, a little skeptical from the reviews but it was just dry overpriced chipotle. Reviewing few hours later and no food poisoning! lol okay good for a quick stop in the airport, wouldnt go again though nothing special
google avatar

Yelp
Dos Toros @ LGA - awesome customer service, but the food bruhhh Had the Nachos W/ melted cheese , black beans farro peppers and onions corn impossible meat -yesss, guacamole sour cream pico de gallo shredded cheese lettuce crushed chips verde hot sauce and habanero sauce aka double dragon , Incredible ‼
google avatar

Nathan B.

Yelp
The only star I'm giving is because the employees were really nice. Other than that the food, is overpriced and not good at all. Taco Bell has better burritos in my opinion. There's other options near by, just keep moving past this place.
google avatar

Stephanie Michelle P.

Yelp
Only had their guac & chips. Guac is amazing. Chips were stale. Oxymoron combo. So make sure to request fresh chips, if possible.
google avatar

Yelp
Located inside the new Terminal B at Lagaurdia airport, Dos Toros is very similar to a Chipotle but with a few differences. I ordered the Carne Plato (bowl) with Farro as my base. I've had Farro one other time before this but this one was done right. The steak had just finished coming out. Cooked perfectly at medium to medium well and seasoned wonderfully. To this I added grilled onions and peppers, lettuce, corn, sour cream, and cheese. This was by far the best combination for me. They do charge extra for guacamole. With a small bottle of Fiji water, my bill was around $22, which is super expensive. One reason you get a one star reduction. I understand we sometimes pay more for convenience but it's pretty steep. Pros: Super Clean, New Location Fresh Food Healthy Choices Great Tasting Food Super Friendly Staff Cons: Super expensive "My review is strictly my opinion based on my experience and interaction with the business and/or staff while they provided me a service, food, or merchandise. This review is not to be translated as fact. My review is truthful to the best of my ability and is not intended to present harm to the business but to encourage them to perform better or allow them to continue being awesome. I have not received any monetary gain for writing this review" - Bruno F

Yelp
Think Chipotle of Qdoba but nicer and way more expensive. I had a bowl with chicken and it was fine, tasted good and portion size was decent. Was it worth the $14 price? Maybe. Of course this is New York and an airport so everything is going to be very expensive but the same thing at Qdoba would be half the price. This tasted fresher than other fast Mexican-American places so it's hard to complain too much. Overall if you're looking for a decent and filling meal in LGA under $15 this is a solid option. I usually bring my own food but my short flight was badly delayed so I had to get something to eat and this definitely fit the bill.

Yelp
RIDICULOUS!!!! I wanted their nachos but asked if they could set the chips on the side so it wouldn't get soggy. They were so confused. Ultimately said that's $3 extra... the cost of something like a burrito or a bowl with chips on the side. To top it off, one of then has his mask off his nose and halfway off his mouth. Just taking all over the food. Avoid this foolishness.

David S.

Yelp
Definitely nothing special. Thought the food was somewhat tasteless, though fresh and ample options.
google avatar

Belynda H.

Yelp
Not worth cost. I thought this would be a healthier option. But taste suffered. And only the cashier was friendly.
google avatar

Bart M.

Yelp
Great food, great airport as well btw. The most airports in the US are like a trip back in time but this one is looking nice and fresh. And this Dos Toros is a chipotle basically but better.
google avatar

Tim O.

Yelp
First time at Laguardia since the new terminal opened. Wasn't planning on eating immediately after my flight but this place stopped me in my tracks. Just a slightly better Chipotle but was a worthy diversion. Received the most perfectly cylindrical burrito I've ever seen. Even the cashier was amazed by the shape of it. I returned a few days later. Not quite as cylindrical, but just as delicious.

Richard S.

Yelp
Is the food as good as Chipotle. Nope. Chipotle has far better meats that they specialty source. Chipotle has much better guacamole. Prices run about 50 to 80 percent more than Chipotle which unlike Dos Toros does not add an airport premium to their prices at most locations. Steak bowl with Guacamole and tax is just over $20.00. If Chipotle is a 4.5 star option this is a 3 star.
google avatar

Rafi H.

Yelp
Double charged me for a burrito bowl and wouldn't refund me, instead pushing me out of the area to serve other customers. Quality of the materials were so-so, but the customer service was terrible!
google avatar

Joe R.

Yelp
Today we got a pork bowl with chips and salsa. The bowl had good flavor overall and was a big portion. The temperature however, was warm at best. The chips weren't great, and only had the pico for salsa. The staff was very friendly.
google avatar

Michael Y.

Yelp
Knockoff chipotle Overall more muted and comfort flavors instead of the spicy, savory that chipotle normally has. Not as tasty, but ok Mexican style food. Toppings tend to be dry, but might just be the airport.
google avatar

Yelp
I was at LGA on a connection that was going to take at least a couple of hours and had a that much time to kill and I was hungry for dinner, since it was 9PM and I hadn't had dinner yet. I went to the AA Lounge and they were working on closing up, so I went to the Centurion Lounge and they just closed up, so I then went back to this food court area to see what I could find and settled on this joint, because the others were so far into closing up, the food wouldn't be fresh. The food here looked OK and the service was fairly friendly, but the flavors were completely non-existent and bland! Even their "hot" sauce was boring and mild, but their verde style "medium" sauce had slightly more heat... Their chicken looked great, but I tasted nothing and they offered plain kernel corn (like canned corn) rather than a seasoned and/or charred/grilled corn . Their black bean looked and tasted like they were poured from a can and heated, rather than cooked/stewed with spices. Overall - Boring and expensive... NOT WORTH IT.
google avatar

Alexander B.

Yelp
This is a nice place at LGA to get some burritos. I've got one with chicken and guac and it was delicious, fresh, and well wrapped. Prices weren't bad given the restaurant is inside the airport and I'd definitely recommend this place over other fast food joints.

Anon Y.

Yelp
Substantially better than other "fast mex" options. The food actual has flavor and doesn't give you norovirus(chipotle). People complaining about the price are off the mark, it is an airport location, everything is marked up. Very quick service
google avatar

Michael P.

Yelp
Inedible with over priced small drinks. Eat before you reach the airport is best option
google avatar

Justi M.

Yelp
I go to Chipotle a lot, this was similar with a tad less spice and flavor, but I liked it a lot. 4 stars bc they ran out of 3 meats and other toppings and super expensive.
google avatar

ArikKatzenberg K.

Yelp
The east cost can't do Mexican food, but no one told that to Dos Toros. Sumptuous San Francisco style Mission Burritos. The crispy DT quesadilla comes highly recommended for good reason. Dine in the spacious atrium featuring a laser light show projected upon a falling curtain of water in the post-gentrified LaGuardia airport

Katie V.

Yelp
DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE IN LGA AIRPORT! Not worth the price. Terrible quality, the workers working the stand are horrible and don't listen. The chicken is the most disgusting thing I've ever tasted. Dollar store quality food... I don't even think dogs would eat this! Prices are more expensive than chipotle. Just do yourself a favor and DON'T DO IT.
google avatar

Aspen M.

Yelp
The food was very mediocre. And I was very hungry, so disappointed for the price. Definitely recommend the other nearby food places more
google avatar

Jonathan B.

Yelp
This is my go to spot for lunch when I'm at the airport. Reasonably priced for NUC and great food and service. You can get burrito, bowl or salad. The braised pork shoulder is great and the hottest sauce is habanero based and very tasty!! I usually ask for double the hot sauce.

Cristina C.

Yelp
I almost did not eat here because of how long their line was but to my surprise their line moved very fast. Ordering here is a little intimidating there's a lot of questions but the staff is friendly and loud I must say lol I tried their steak bowl, very delicious. Definitely a good spot to try when coming to the airport and starving!

Chris J.

Yelp
Flying through LGA and needed a quick bite. Even during the lunch rush- they were fast. If you are familiar with Chipotle; then you will know what Dos Toro does. Food was pretty much as expected.
google avatar

Izabelle D.

Yelp
I came here looking for some quick breakfast before my morning flight, the people working here were very kind. I got the pancakes and bacon, the bacon was nice and crispy as expected. And the pancakes were very enjoyable in front of the water fountain.
google avatar

Grover B.

Yelp
poorly executed imitation of chipotle ridiculously over priced staff super disorganized, barely attentive to customers
google avatar

Yelp
Picture it. Worst case scenario possible. Eating what you think is safe food and ending up with food poisoning while being stuck at the airport on a layover waiting on 2hr long flight on a small commuter jet. Why do I think it was Dos Toros that gave me intestinal distress? Half way through my $18.00 burrito that TacoBell could have made better, I decided something about the food was not right and stopped eating. 2hrs after waiting at my gate the nausea starts, for the next hour I was in gastrointestinal distress both vomiting, diarrhea, and intense stomach cramping, with nothing to look forward to but a cramped plain ride. After several bouts of running to the restroom to both vomit and boo boo, it's time to board the flight. I'm a Christian so I prayed to the big man for some relief on this flight and he delivered. Not less than 10min of waiting on my bags at baggage claim at my destination was I back in the bathroom. The rest of my night consisted of running to the restroom and I got little to no sleep and had to call into work today. I will never be able to enjoy airport food again, it's not worth the POSSIBILITY of being sick while traveling. Thanks Dos Toros Taqueria, couldn't have done any of this with out you.

Mitchell M.

Yelp
Staff was friendly. But be warned it is half the food for twice the price of Chipotle. Im not asking for Chipotle level quality but 16$ for a burrito? Last time ill go here even in a pinch. I cant support price gouging like this
