Dos Toros Taqueria

Once in a while, I come across a place that does everything so well and so simply that it makes me wonder: why aren't more people doing it this way? Certainly there are no lack of taquerias anywhere but Dos Toros stands out for its wonderful ingredients, delicious food, very good prices and, last but not least, the excellent staff. Their smoky salsa, for example, is so delectable I could just drink it. Which pretty much describes how I feel about every aspect of this establishment.

a great veg burrito with rice, beans, spiced sweet potato, and a pile of fresh tasty toppings. i loved the pickled onion and grilled veggies. it was filling, but not too much. the taqueria salsa tastes exactly right. Dos Toros chips and dips are now the best affordable snack options in the neighborhood, hands down. easy online ordering process with a rewards program available. i was warmly greeted by staff. easy pickup. new clean restaurant with nice decor including some cool framed music posters

Along Pennsylvania Ave SE literally steps from the Library of Congress is Dos Toros Taqueria, a New York-based fast casual burrito spot with several locations in the city. Walk inside and order a mission-style burrito, rice bowl, or salad with your pick of meat, toppings, sauces etc. For lunch, I ordered chips and their queso blanco, a burrito with carnitas and all the toppings, and a Mexican Coke. It was very filling. There's street parking nearby. The Capitol South Metro is close by.

The dopest taco spot in DC!! Came in on a whim and was immediately welcomed by the crew. Jamal, Rocky, and Naima were A-1!! Can’t recommend enough

The music is great here the view is amazing and the customer service is the best! The most important thing, however, is the food and that too is top-notch!!! The burritos are big enough for two people to split and have a good sized meal each.

I had an amazing experience thanks to Rocky! Her customer service was absolutely outstanding she went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Rocky’s friendliness, attention to detail, and genuine care really stood out. She has excellent hospitality skills and made me feel truly valued as a customer. I honestly think she has all the qualities of a future manager. Keep up the great work, Rocky!

The restaurant was clean and welcoming, and the atmosphere made the meal even better. A special shout-out to Manager Edwin, who provided excellent customer service — friendly, attentive, and professional. He really made sure everything was perfect. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending Dos Toros to friends and family!
