Dos Toros - Burritos, Bowls, and Tacos

Huge shoutout to the lady who served us. She was so kind, patient, and full of good energy. She took time to ask each of us about allergies and preferences and made sure everything was right with our order. You could tell she genuinely cared, even while handling a lot of customers at once. Unfortunately I forgot to tip and didn’t catch her name, but she was short, dark skinned, had a very sweet voice, and truly made the experience stand out. If management sees this, please give her the recognition she deserves. She made the whole visit feel welcoming and positive. I’d honestly come back just for her hospitality. That kind of service is rare and deserves a raise. Thank you again for being so amazing.

I went for the full Shabang for my first time here. $24 with tip and tax. Seared carne asada, with all the free toppings, small side of chips and guacamole. The steak is top notch for a non steak restaraunt. Chips are salty & go great with the guacamole. Unlike chipotle - the steak and chicken are not spicy which is what I prefer. Definitely one of the better eat places near Congress

Once in a while, I come across a place that does everything so well and so simply that it makes me wonder: why aren't more people doing it this way? Certainly there are no lack of taquerias anywhere but Dos Toros stands out for its wonderful ingredients, delicious food, very good prices and, last but not least, the excellent staff. Their smoky salsa, for example, is so delectable I could just drink it. Which pretty much describes how I feel about every aspect of this establishment.

The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere and the service was excellent. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. I would definitely come back again. Highly recommended! 😊

Food was really good. Came in a group ordered a bunch of tacos and they were bussin. Servers are also really nice and friendly.

Along Pennsylvania Ave SE literally steps from the Library of Congress is Dos Toros Taqueria, a New York-based fast casual burrito spot with several locations in the city. Walk inside and order a mission-style burrito, rice bowl, or salad with your pick of meat, toppings, sauces etc. For lunch, I ordered chips and their queso blanco, a burrito with carnitas and all the toppings, and a Mexican Coke. It was very filling. There's street parking nearby. The Capitol South Metro is close by.

The dopest taco spot in DC!! Came in on a whim and was immediately welcomed by the crew. Jamal, Rocky, and Naima were A-1!! Can’t recommend enough
