Where To Get A Dosa In NYC

"This South Indian spot in Jackson Heights makes some of the best dosas in the neighborhood, but it seems like most people haven’t figured that out yet because you can always walk in and get a table. When you order from the menu of over 20 different dosa options, start with the masala dosa and a few plates of samosa chaat. We like that the masala dosa is buttery, which balances out the spicy potatoes inside, and we also appreciate how the samosa stays firm under the mountain of chutney and yogurt." - neha talreja

Where To Eat In Jackson Heights

"Samudra is an Indian spot that’s completely vegetarian, and many of the dishes on the menu involve fried potatoes and breads. You shouldn’t leave this place without ordering a dosa - each one is giant and costs around $7. It’s not technically on the menu, but ask for a dosa filled with the Gobi Manchurian (spicy cauliflower) entree. It’s worth a trip here on its own." - hannah albertine, bryan kim

Dosa Delight Review - Jackson Heights - New York - The Infatuation

"This South Indian spot in Jackson Heights makes some of the best dosas in the neighborhood, but it seems like most people haven’t figured that out yet because you can always walk in and get a table. The space here is straightforward - there’s nothing but an empty coat rack and several tables topped with recycled Voss water bottles, so you’re really coming here to eat great food. When you order from the menu of over 20 different dosa options, start with the masala dosa and a few plates of samosa chaat. We like that the masala dosa is buttery, which balances out the spicy potatoes inside, and that the samosa stays firm under the mountain of chutney and yogurt. photo credit: Alex Staniloff" - Nikko Duren

Delicious! I missed good Indian food and haven’t had dosas in ages. I was so happy with my Podicherry dosa. The portions are generous. I basically took half home for a second meal. The sauces were flavorful. The green was cooling yet spicy! The red sauce was tangy. The mango lasse is a must. I don’t usually like it but here it was tangy and fresh. Service was good but we ate at 1pm on Monday. Not busy at all. Atmosphere is fine. It’s kinda dark which is not my vibe.

Google
Giant Dosas for the price , well seasoned and proper dips. The appetizer were filling. The atmosphere gives you a vibe of real India with the dish presentation. Don’t forgot to order their mango lassi!

Google
Great service!! All vegetarian! Came for the massive gargantuan dosa and it did not disappoint; it was an absolute unit and we beasted it (2 girls) 😎 Food was pretty good, NAAN WAS FIRE, but my friend said there are better indian spots in the area :/

Google
I cant believe I've never been here being that it's in my neighborhood! It was worth the wait. The staff were so friendly and professional. I haven't been to many vegetarian spots but I will be going back to this establishment when I can. Food was so filling and interesting. We went for mother's day and even with the place being full our experience was great. Really recommend.

Google
Got the Chanai Rava Masala Dosa and the OCC Dosa. We come here often and they don’t disappoint. Staff is friendly and the service is wonderful. Delicious dosas, generous portions, and only $13-$15 each. The OCC is particularly good, and includes a generous amount of cheese and potato. It’s always busy, especially a lot of takeout orders but I would recommend eating in for the crispy dosas.

I been going to Dosa Delights for so many years. Love taking my family, friends and colleagues there. Excellent customer service and very tasty food. Special thanks to Ratul for making our family dinner time enjoyable!

Google
Good food and it was tasty. Number of side items were nice and lots. Major issue is that the rice quantity in Thali is too less for $18. Might as well reduce an item or two in side dish and add more rice.

Google
I actually love coming here more than Semma and Angel. Atmosphere can be a little more chaotic than those restauarant but service is quick and reliable, and the food is consistently delicious. No reservations needed like those spots either. Perfectly unpretentious.

Yelp
I can't believe that I have not written a review for this restaurant. We love Indian food. This is one of our favorite places, especially if we are looking for vegetarian or a dosa. Our go to dosa is masala + spinach, and it's always consistently delicious. The portion is generous, and if you are in the mood you can ask for extra hot sauces. If we don't get a dosa, we typically order the thali. You select the bread you prefer, and leave the rest to them. It's a terrific selection and everything has a separate and distinct flavor. It also includes the pickle as well as desert.. We always have a delicious meal here. The service is great! The value is great! To drink I usually order an Indian beer, but my dining companions ordered the mango lassi.

Yelp
I was super excited to try Dosa Delight because this is such a Jackson Heights classic and the dosas are humongous. We came on a weekend and the wait was supposed to be 10-15 minutes but we were actually seated immediately because they flipped a 2-person table sideways to squish 3 people which I thought was actually pretty smart. - Mango Lassi - I felt like this lassi's color was way more orange than the usual yellow color, but regardless, the lassi was delicious. I couldn't get over the mango taste of it and I wish they had more of the drink itself rather than the ice. - Masala Dosa - When the dosa arrived, we were all incredibly shocked by how big it was. I think this is the largest dosa/bread I have ever served to me. I love how many different textures the dosa had from incredibly crispy to slightly sour flavors. I also really enjoyed the sauces that went along with it, especially the spicy chutney that had bell peppers inside. - Pondicherry Dosa - I thought this was essentially the same thing as the Masala Dosa except they wrapped the potato mixture which there was way more of. I would order one or the other if I were to come back again. Honestly, each thing felt like it could be a whole meal alone. Overall, a great meal and would definitely come back for that humongous dosa again.

Yelp
Wrong order I order food from this place and this is the second time they have messed up the order. Clearly they said there they packet the right thing but clearly they packed The wrong thing. They thought I was lying and told me to send a picture. Clearly they don't fix any problems and they told me to order again from Uber eats and I have to wait for another 50 minutes. Yet again I need to tip the guy who deliver it for there mistake. Never again please be aware when taking delivery from them.

Yelp
It was not crowded on a Saturday around lunch hours. We were able to be seated quite quickly without a wait at a table for four. Two of us sat on the booth side which has definitely seen its days and likely need a replacement as the cushion is essentially gone. I ordered the masala chai which was just ok. It lacked depth. But we didn't come here for the drinks, but for the dosas and those certainly did not disappoint. I enjoyed our vegetable masala dosa. It came with 2 sauces. The green one was so delicious. This place reminded me how much I actually enjoy dosas.

Yelp
I haven't been to dosa delight in years but just went for the first time yesterday and it was just as great as I remembered it. The quality hasn't changed and the prices are great for what you get. The place could do with some new chairs but other than that you can't complain! Service was great and the food was so filling! I got the chole poori (chickpeas in a delicious gravy with fried flatbread) and my mom got the thali (a bunch of vegetarian dishes) and we were so stuffed! The palak paneer and tamarind soup were our favorites on the thali and my chole poori was so good! Will definitely be back.

Yelp
This place is always crowded; always. So we decided to try it. We were a tad disappointed tbh Ordered the papdi chaat, rava dosa and madras coffees The chaat needed more tang, spices and yogurt in general. Also, the papdis were very different than what we are used to. The chickpeas were bland The coffees lacked body - seemed like watered down milk... Finally dosa was huge and paper thin and crispy and all that. But chutney sambhar and masaala (filling) were letdowns. I hate giving bad reviews but this was a disappointment. What really stood out though was the service. They were super busy and the people who were managing did an EXCELLENT job. They even said sorry for bringing out dosas out late. I really really appreciated that :) The vibe is crazy cos you have disco lights, red light and green light!! Anyway, I think I ordered the wrong items and maybe should have stuck to other things... idk

Yelp
Bring a jacket! They have the air conditioner blasting in the summer and it's seriously cold. A lot of people were rubbing their arms tonight (07.29.2024) The girl server was very helpful. She was patient and would go over the different types of dishes with me. The menu is grand and there's lots to choose from. I love that it's vegetarian and vegan. I don't have to worry about foods that will irritate me and it means everything on the menu is game. The food came out hot and delicious. I ordered the masala chai, methi pratha and the soya bhuna. I aim to choose something different every time I visit. So far, I haven't been disappointed all but once long ago. The soya bhuna was mildly spicy for me, though if anyone in my family tried it they'd be on fire. The masala chai was as expected - a little bit tart, but in a good way. I don't add sugar to my drinks. The rice was sweet and helped suppress the heat whenever X amount of spoonfuls were had. The methi pratha was amazing. It was delicious on its own as well as scrumptious when used to pick up some of the soya bhuna. I wound up taking half of the soya bhuna home along with another order of the pratha to go with it. As I was waiting for the to-go bin and extra pratha, they came by to spray cleaning solution on the table next to me. I used my hands to cover my food. They should not be cleaning tables via spraying directly to the table, rather they ought to spray into a cloth and then wipe the table clean. The a/c was blowing so intensely that whomever (such as myself and my food) or anyone else sitting next to where they were cleaning would get some of that spray into their food. Please be mindful of this as both a patron and an employee. Happy eats!

Yelp
Been a frequent guest to this restaurant. Slightly medium size dining and dim lighting. Variety of dosas. I always choose vegetable Malala dosa. The dosa I choose have mixed vegetables and potatoes. The crepe is always consistent and crisp. With a side of spicy soup and sauce for the dosa. The service is professional but the evening schedule can get crowded. I'm glad this authentic restaurant is located in a nice neighborhood that's full of culture. I will always be an avid guest at dosas delight. One of my favorite places to eat in queens. Water closets are to the rear of restaurant and the might be a wait during dinner service but moves fast. Try Dosas if you haven't had one or a fan!

Yelp
The food comes out slow but the server is friendly and hospitable -- which makes it an overall positive experience. He helped to make sure our order was correct and checked in on us. We walked in both times without reservation. The second time, it seemed like the restaurant was really busy but we were still able to get seated. Ambiance is alright. The first time I came, the music was really loud so it was difficult to hear what my partner was saying. Since then, it seems like they turned the music lower. We tried the Chef Special Chur Chur Naan Thali with mixed vegetable naan our first time there and it was great. The paneer jalfrazi was pretty great as well -- no negative comments about that. Everything was the right level of spice for us as well. Unfortunately, we never tried their dosas, which is our next goal.

Yelp
I went here about 10 years ago and the food was really good but I got terrible food poisoning from the mango lassi. I'd still go back and honestly I would still order the mango lassi so that should tell you how good the food is. Unfortunately I did get very sick so I can't leave 5 stars. Food that's so good you remember it after a decade, that's worth getting food poisoning for

Yelp
It was my first time trying dosa! We ordered the Dahi puri, chilli paneer masala dosa, malai soya, and mango lassi! I recommend everything, but the dosa is very big so definitely come with a bigger party. I had such a great time, I came back a second time! The ambience has some neon lightings but it's definitely more about the food than the decor. The girl who helped us was super nice and kindly explained the items we were interested in as this was our first time trying everything. Will definitely be coming back again!

Yelp
DD is really our go to sit-down restaurant when we are in JH for groceries. I'd recommend coming between noon and 12:45 to get a seating for groups of 2-4 - even on weekends, if you are walking-in! They have a typical extensive menu ranging from Indo Chinese, South Indian delicacies and Punjabi cuisine. We have tried most, and sticking to the name, they do a good job with Dosa's! The only issue we've consistently had (whether we order in or sit-down) is their heavy hand on oil. I ordered a Mysore Rava Masala Dosa ($14.99) which was very greasy towards the end, but really tasty overall. Once can also not go wrong with Chilli Paneer Dosa ($12.99). The Plain Butter Dosa ($11.99) is generous on Butter as well as oil! I wish their dosas came with the very delicious tomato chuttneys, which is very common in most South Indian restaurants in the city. If you do somehow manage to finish their delicious dosa's, be ready to get slightly nauseated at the end of your meal. I wish they went a little light on oil. Also, never order their filter coffee or Madras Coffee ($1.99) unless you like milk! It is really bad with very little coffee taste and very milky! Service was excellent and noise levels are on the average end. Desi instrumental or english songs desi version of instrumentals gives the restaurant its Quintessential desi restaurant feel. Friendly staff and specific shoutout to Mohammed for his excellent service! I am sure we will visit again like we've done for the past four years!

Yelp
Came for lunch on a Saturday and had an amazing meal. I tried: + Masala chai + Mulligatawny soup + Samosa chaat + Pani puri + Masala dosa + Pondicherry dosa + Poori The masala dosa was the top highlight - it was incredible, and the biggest dosa I've ever had. They had to pull up a second table to fit it. Everything else was awesome, too! Our server Abdur was great. Will be back!!

Yelp
My favorite vegetarian Indian restaurant. We loved how fresh and tasty all the dishes were. I love it how it's a great place that represents vegetarian food and people really love it. We loved the poori and dosa and the amazing variety of dishes. The mojitos were all nonalcoholic and refreshing. All ingredients were fresh and the Sambar was very good along w everything else. Prices are reasonable also. The staff were kind and understanding.

Yelp
We tried the medu vada, which was quite flavorful (especially if you combine the two sauces together), but was Lukewarm. I'd have loved it warmer... The vegetarian biryani was good. The texture of the vegetables was a bit mushy (and honestly I wanted more vegetables, it was scant, and the cauliflower wasn't great), Also, the dish needed a little salt, but when I added salt, onions, and raita, the taste was good and the fragrance was there. Since I've had better biryanis in the area, even at Angel down the street, i wouldn't come back for the biryani (but may for the dosas or the thali) Thanks Dosa Delight for the lovely ambiance and solid service!!

Yelp
It was absolutely worth the time for us to make the trek to Jackson Heights for Dosa Delight. It wasn't too crowded on an early Saturday afternoon. Probably earlier is better. The dosas are incredible! It definitely came out last, around an extra five minutes after everything else came out. Worth it! I was happy to share in my friend's order since it's, you know, gigantic. I had my own veggie uttapam (which are like flat pancakes made of lentils and rice), as I was looking for more sustenance and veggies. It was topped with bell peppers, peas, onions and herbs and came with coconut chutney (my favorite!!!) and sambar. My friends and I also shared the pani puri, which were crisp and hit the spot! Next time, I'll have the lassi. It was an incredibly hot day and I decided against it.

Yelp
As the name suggests, there are dosas and they are delightful! I have been here twice (and have ordered the Mushroom Masala Dosa twice) & I would most definitely run it back for a third. $15 pre-tax/tip for 1.5 meals is a steal, and the process of ripping off shards of dosa and dipping them in the various chutneys/sauces makes the meal even more enjoyable. I particular enjoy mixing the mint chutney and tamarind(?) sauce together. Everything is vegetarian and lots of vegan options too. Service is always great.
google avatar

Yelp
Komal helped to prepare order for my parents who are in Nursing home. She personally called me about adding tomatoes on uttapam as per my dada request. She personally paid attention to that detail, even though they don't add tomatoes, she spoke to her kitchen staff and made that modification. Komal YOU brought a BIG smile on my dads face, he also shares food with other indian residents in Nursing home. That sharing of familiar food brings smile on their face and we love it!! God bless you, and thank you again.when people put their heart to work, result is always fabulous!!.

Yelp
We dine in for a Sunday lunch. The place is very dark, I even had a hard time reading the menu. It was also a little dirty, the table we sat in have food crumb on the floor. For drinks, we got a chai tea and a coffee. The chai is good. The coffee is a little light and milky like others have said. For food, we got a plain dosa and OCC masala dosa. When it arrived, we were shocked the size of these dosas! They were both very delicious. I like how crunchy they are. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. We left happy and with a full stomach.

Lu A.

Yelp
Good for that dosa craving. All vegetarian place, good amount of seating, extensive menu. Not on the main road of Jackson Heights, but very close.

Yelp
The food's still high quality if you stick to South Indian. The service is slow but not bad. Unfortunately management trumps all. For a party of 3 adults/2 kids last Sunday at breakfast we ran up a $184 check. Seemed high but we ate well. When I paid it the credit card receipt listed tip suggestions 20%, 25% and 30%. Tacked on the 20% which brought the check to $220. Rushing for an airport run I grabbed the itemized receipt and noticed later in the day a "Four or more 18%" charge of $26. Dosa Delight presented me with a credit card receipt with no mention that they had added gratuity, suggesting I add 20-30% to the total with tip. The food cost $144, and I paid a $76 tip because of this shade. Restaurants have it tough and I assumed this may be a mistake or a new system. Called the day after asking to speak with a manager. The person who picked up said "I have no clue when the manager comes in" refused to provide his name and hung up. Handed the issue over to my credit card company's fraud dept, good luck Dosa Delight.

Yelp
My Thai friend wanted to eat Indian food for her belated birthday. I decided to go to Jackson Heights and meet up with her. It was a case of serendipity that we stumbled upon Dosa Delight. We arrived close to 7:30 PM on a Sunday evening. We were seated almost immediately. The restaurant eventually fill up with guests. I chose the Dosa Delight Thali which comes with a combination of different foods, and delicious roti. She ordered the Chef Special Chur Chur. The lady loves to eat so she had all the food she needed and more. Service was very good. Waiters came around to see if we needed anything and answer any questions we might have. The last time I had similar food like this was in Amman, Jordan back in December, 2018. But I had to order separate dishes. This combination makes it much easier by offering a smorgasbord of delicious choices. On another note I reminded my Thai guest that India introduced spices and spicy food to Thailand. Look across from Madras (now renamed Chennai) you see the Andaman Sea you end up in Thailand. So I can appreciate why she likes Indian food due to the spicy flavors. The interior is a bit on the dark side. I had to use my flashlight on my iPhone to read the menu. I thought maybe I needed my reading glasses but it's just the lighting. I wore a long sleeves shirt because the temperature outside had dipped to the lower 70s so I expected the a/c would be cool on the train and who knows how the ambient temperature would be at the restaurant. Turns out the a/c at the restaurant was turned up for the upcoming heat of summer. But not enough to make me shiver.

Yelp
Found this place on a whim and had to go in because it was super packed on a Sunday night! I forgot what this meal is called, but my bf and I loved it. The different dips/sauces were so unique and delicious. We loved trying every single one of them and ranking our favorites. The restaurant was packed, and food seems very authentic. I love vegetarian Indian food, so this place was a great find!

Yelp
Great for vegan options. Authentic. Highly highly recommend!! Large portions as well!

Yelp
Dosa Delight did not quite turn out to be what fit our plan for the day we went - to visit a bunch of places and try some small plates - but we were not disappointed! Our server gave us some recommendations, so we tried a cold appetizer, pani puri, and a couple of different dosas - spinach masala and Mysore dosa - the food was so filling it almost threw off our plans for the day, we ended up having to go for a long walk before finding our next stop to snack. I hadn't tried any of what we ordered, and that made it much more interesting. Definitely a nice spot, it was busy with locals which is always a good sign, and our server was very friendly, explaining to us his recommendations, and giving us some good advice on how to actually eat the delights he served us!

Yelp
Wonderful vegetarian Indian food. REAL dosas that are crisp and flavorful. I got the Dosa Delight Thali and a paper Dosa. Was enough food for 4 people! I didn't mind as I had plenty of leftovers to enjoy. Great place, good service, and delicious Indian food. Also, close to LaGuardia airport so a good quick stop if you have a plane to catch. Enjoy!

Yelp
Great variety of food, they were able to accommodate our dietary restrictions very well!

Yelp
A delicious place for vegetarian and vegan food in the heart of Little India - Jackson Heights! Typically coming here just to buy groceries, I never noticed this place. It is tucked away on a side street near Apna Bazaar. The area surprisingly isn't loaded with too many Indian restaurants (at least on the main streets where grocery stores are). After a long day of shopping we were hungry and luckily a google search found this place. What a delight! We got the Dosa Delight Thali and the Cone Dosa. The thali is great to share between two people and for $15 what a steal! Such variety of curries, lentils, and comes with rice plus your choice of bread/roti. They have a large variety of dosa available making it hard to choose. The Cone Dosa comes with a coconut chutney, potato curry (tasted a bit like mashed potatoes with butter), and a hot soup. Great combo, but not as filling as a thali. Def good for just one person. The place is a bit dimly lit and they have a light up art display in the back. This can be a bit annoying with the rainbow lights constantly flickering on you as you eat. So try not to be seated close to the back or near the door to the bathroom. The place does get loud as they cater to larger groups for dinner. Service can be a little slow at times with just 2-3 people working, but staff was friendly. Before you head out, stop by the front and have some fennel seeds to cleanse your pallet. Ultimately, a solid Indian restaurant in Jackson Hts. and will be back next time I'm shopping in the area.

Yelp
First time trying from this spot from uber eats! Wanted a Indian street style food last minute during this raining evening so I came across of Dosa Delight. I ordered the Aloo Tikki Chaat, Raita, and one chai masala. The food is not terrible and not the best, it's alright. The Aloo tikki chaat was good yet disappointing. There wasn't even one potato patty let alone two or three piece inside. In India for the little amount you pay you get generous amount of aloo and toppings. IDK what's going on at this location??? They only put 3-4 small piece of potato and wasn't even equivalent to one piece of a potato. They added some spiced garbanzo beans and covered much of the dish with the flakes which makes it dry. Aloo tikki chaat needs yogurt there was none...! They can be generous next time with the aloo(potato) and yogurt on it! Raita- Indian yogurt was good but needed some salt !! At least they nailed it with the masala chai !!

Yelp
Dosa was really good but the Veg Thali was just average, since some of the items were just passable. I think this place is best for Dosas and Chinese, and the Curries will be hit or miss. Service was pretty good, considering the place was packed.

Yelp
Wow!! Small but BUSY establishment!! Walked in, it was packed. Our waiter was amazing and friendly. Totally excited to try pani puri and dosa for the first time, read so much good things about this place. Ordered the pani puri which was great, but loved the pani puri with the yogurt ( forgot it's name ). The gobi was delicious it's cauliflower in a barbecue sauce IG anyones wondering what's gobi, that's was very filling. The dosa for me tasted like burnt cheese, I'm not quite sure if our dosa were actually burnt, because everyone else's dose were light in color, as you can see ours were brown. Our desert yummy!! Definitely will be back to try now stuff

Yelp
the appetizer dhal puri was just drenched in yogurt and can't even pick it up. i give it a 4/10 i wouldn't get it again the OCC masala dosa was great and can be shared by two people. it has cheese potato and onion. the crepe is flaky and has lots of seasoning. i would get this dosa again. there's so many i want to try them all! finished the meal with some masala chai and it hit the spot. it's not sweet but the staff gives sugar to adjust to your liking. i like this spot a lot just not the puri appetizer

Yelp
Phenomenal! As a longtime fan of Jackson Heights generally, and a vegetarian who loves south Indian food, I want to recommend my favorite place--just finished dinner here: perfect rasam, whole wheat paratha methi, and peanut masala; then as main dishes we had pondicherry dosa with chili paneer, and a lovely soy dish with ghobi paratha (cauliflower stuffed bread, great texture; and also whole wheat)--dessert was gajjar halwa (made fresh, very carroty and buttery, mmm). Even though an enormous group of twenty or more sat down just as we were starting, and it's a small place so the kitchen must have been hopping, everything came on time and was delicious. Our server was solicitous and kind, and we relaxed with drinks and chai and coffee during and after. Nice old-timey music ("like the background music from a 1960s nightclub in a Bollywood movie," said my companion!). Great atmosphere. would recommend any day of the year.

Yelp
Ate here today after work for dinner by myself. I had brought and ate the thali with drink of mango lassi. It was great and delicious. The service there was also friendly, quick and attentive that I didn't feel rushed about what to choose something to try for the first time. I couldn't agree more. Finally, I would definitely eat and come back again next time! :)

Yelp
If you have never tried dosa before, I highly recommend it. It is a delicious and satisfying plant-based dish high in protein and gluten-free that is a must-try for anyone who loves Indian cuisine or is looking for a new and unique food experience. Dosa Delight had many variations of dosa, but I ordered the masala dosa (dosa stuffed with spiced mash potatoes, onion, and spices). It was thin and crispy, fried to perfection and came with a sambar and mint chutney. I also ordered the dosa delight, which was a thali platter with more masala, sambar, dal, and a variety of other mixed vegetables and chutneys. It also came with naan and papadum to complement the dosa (FYI doesn't come with its own dosa). This was the perfect amount for a light meal for 2-3 people. The dosas here are authentic in spices and flavor and I would recommend anyone in the area to stop by for a tasty bite.

Yelp
This is actually our second attempt at this place because our Uber Eats order got lost so we never got our order so we had to come to the actual establishment ourselves. Hubby and I don't usually venture out to Jackson Heights but when we do, it's for some good dosa! We ordered the chole bhature, dosa, and vegetable vindaloo. Had to get the mango lassi because what's an Indian mean without the mango lassi. I'm not sure whether the mango lassi is from concentrate or not but it wasn't my favorite. Vegetable vindaloo was also very heavy.. I thought it would be spicier but it wasn't. Dosa - also a bit on the heavy side.. not my favorite but we did really like the chole bhature. Service is really good here. Come around 7pm on a Friday and you will find yourself waiting for a table. We got here around 5pm so we didn't have to wait long.

Yelp
This is the best Indian restaurant in my opinion! I have been going for the past 5 years. The management changed and everything kept the same except the menu is much bigger now. The ambience is very simple but service is fast and waiters are super friendly. If you have never tried South Indian food, specially DOSAS, well you are missing in life!

Yelp
Came here for Sunday lunch with a few friends. We ordered the Mysore plain dosa and the chefs special Thali. I really enjoyed the Mysore dosa. It hit the craving I was having, and with that coconut chutney it was . The thali was also very good. Loved the naan and the masala dish within it. The outdoor seating is very limited and the indoor seating is quite dark. They did Mark some tables as not-for-sitting to keep some distance. Everyone was wearing a mask, there just wasn't a lot of air flow.

Yelp
The food was insanely good, the portions were ginormous and the prices were very readable. I'm willing to make the trip from Manhattan again to eat here.

Yelp
Dosa Delight has the greatest variety of vegetarian and vegan Indian food. The only thing I didn't like is that is was a bit noisy.

Yelp
Scrumptious vegetarian and vegan restaurant with excellent service and a homey vibe. If vegetarian food tastes like this, consider me converted! We had the eggplant, mushroom with peas and okra plus a vegetable Doma. Everything was incredible and the waiters are kind and attentive. The only suggestion is I wish they had more dairy free beverage options like teas for those who can't have dairy.

Yelp
Delicious dinner for a great price. For the two of us, we got a dosa and a paneer dish. Super filling and 1 serving of leftovers to take home. Came out to be about $21 total. Good service and friendly staff as well! All in all a great dining experience.
