The Finger Bowl Is a Dining Etiquette Tradition That Could Disappear - Eater

"The late 1980s and early ’90s, however, marked a steady trickle down, with the object ending up in spots like the dosa eatery where my server promised to sneak me a bowl." - Meher Varma

Its the fourth or fifth time we order at night time around 9 pm and they are giving the sambar which seems like masala in water only ….sambar is too runny and only have diced carrots in it. Seems like they are just adding water in leftover sambar to make the quantity . Highly disappointed as i used to order before and it was so tasty and sambar was so thick .But the new staff is giving us water at place of sambar and dosa is so hard and not able to bite it. We a re only ordering from them as we don't have dosa shop nearby but continuously getting the same thing in hope that we will get good this time. Please do the needful and don't upset the customers just to sell your leftover things.

Had a wonderful experience at Dosa Eatery! The Masala Dosa and Butter Chicken Dosa were both outstanding—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The service was excellent as well, with Jinal being especially friendly and attentive, which made the visit even more enjoyable. A great spot if you’re craving authentic South Indian flavors with a creative twist!

We thoroughly enjoyed the dosa and uttapam varieties we ordered, and the chutneys were packed with flavor. The momos we tried were also excellent. Overall, a wonderful place for authentic South Indian food and definitely worth a visit.

Amazing food, top-notch customer service, and a lovely in-store ambiance! We had Mysore masala and paneer tikka dosa. Both were amazing. The dosas were perfectly crisp and full of flavor, with delicious chutneys and sambar on the side. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this place.

Had the Masala Dosa, which was cooked to perfection 👌 and the sambar tasted excellent 😋 The location is also convenient. They serve various Western and Indian drinks as well, I had Sweet Lassi and it tasted good too. Very prompt service!

This store was originally at Waterloo, then moved to Kitchener for dine in experience. I just tried mix veg uthappam as usual and medu vada while my friend tried masala dosa. While at Waterloo the chutneys and sambhar offered were good. Now sambhar was bland, the masala in dosa was bland and medu vada was also bland completely. The amount of chutneys served was so tiny. Coconut chutney was also bland. Then ordered cardamom chai, I better don’t talk about it because it didn’t have an essence of chai. I think the quality has been compromised here but Uthappam was great as usual. Hope you take this feedback and work on it. Prices can also be reduced a little as all the other South Indian restaurants are offering a better price with great quality.

Had a wonderful experience at Dosa Eatery! The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The steam veg momos were absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Highly recommend this place for both the great food and outstanding service!

After reading positive reviews, we decided to give it a try. While the service was good, unfortunately, the food didn't meet our expectations. Despite claims of authenticity in the reviews, the dosa fell short of resembling a real one. We found it to be quite bland, and the sambar was also lacking in flavor. Overall, we would rate the food 2 out of 5. On a brighter note, the falooda shake was enjoyable. Prices were reasonable though.

Yelp
I visited last friday on this restuarent this is very badful experience. They use people for their purpose and very bad behaviour of owner and staff.
