The 11 Best Restaurants In Wembley - London - The Infatuation

"Dosa Street is a vendor in Trader Wembley, a new-build food court that could be very easy to wander past. But go in, climb the stairs, and you’ll find a handful of different South Asian vendors worth your time. That and a giant projector playing Sky Sports. Pop in to Dosa Street and order an expertly made masala dosa, grab a spot on the shared tables, and wait for your buzzer to go. Crispy, softly spiced and served with a potato masala, coconut chutney, and a red chutney, it’s a brilliant-value lunch or dinner." - jake missing

We recently visited Dosa Street in Bletchley, Milton Keynes, for the second time, and it was once again an outstanding experience. The food is authentic, full of flavour, and served with real care. We had the medu vada, which was beautifully crisp on the outside and soft on the inside – exactly how it should be. The masala dosa was perfectly crisp and filled with a flavourful potato masala. What truly elevated the meal were the chutneys and sambar – fresh, aromatic, and bursting with authentic South Indian taste. The hospitality was warm and genuine, making us feel truly welcomed and cared for. It’s clear that the team here takes pride in delivering both quality food and a memorable dining experience. If you’re in Milton Keynes or nearby and love South Indian cuisine, Dosa Street is a must-visit. The food is delicious, comforting, and excellent value for money. We’ll definitely be back again!

Just found an amazing South Indian spot in MK! 😋 Authentic flavors, fresh food, and super friendly staff 🤩. The wait was totally worth it! Haven't tried the rice items yet, but the tiffin options were spot on! Idlis, dosas, and all the classics were made just right. If you're in MK, do check it out and wake up those taste buds! Highly recommend stopping by if you love South Indian cuisine #SouthIndianFood #MK #FoodieFind #TamilNaduFlavors #dosastreet

What an amazing மதுரை கறி விருந்து (Meat feast on a banana leaf) by பாண்டியன் chef! This was the menu served yesterday: Nandu Rasam Kola Urundai Chicken 65 Boti Fry Chicken Chukka Mutton Pepper Fry Plain Rice Dry Fish Gravy Madurai Curry Kulambu Chicken Kulambu Cabbage Thoran Egg Masala Butter Milk Appalam Tender Coconut Payasam This feast happens once in a while. If it does don’t miss out. This small corner restaurant is bursting with authenticity and flavor. Every dish was absolutely delicious, the place was buzzing, and the staff treated us like family with such warmth and care. The spices were perfectly balanced and truly reflected the soul of South Indian cuisine. A unique, unforgettable experience—we can’t wait to go back!

We booked dosa street as a punt for a 60th Birthday dinner. A Saturday night and a table for 9 and we drove over from Aylesburyand south London. I was pleasantly surprised with what we experienced. Decor - a bit outdated Atmosphere - all tables were full ( good sign) so it was a pleasant atmosphere Service - there were only 2 owners working and Service was excellent. Didn't have to wait for anything and they responded to requests quickly. Nothing was too much trouble. Food - outstanding! Everything came out piping hot, every single dish, and was delicious, nothing was greasy. Great size portions so no one went hungry. We ordered the following starters Chicken 65 Chilli chicken Chilli paneer Samosas Onion bhajis Chicken lollipops Parathas Mains included Masala dosa Chicken dosa Utapum Plain dosa And a couple of gulab jaman for a few of us to taste. Plus continuous beer and soft drinks As we had children we asked them to dial down the Chilli on the dosas the kids ordered. The kids loved it. Even one the one that eats beige food 😂 The bought out our cake we had supplied and played a happy birthday song. Excellent!! Cost around £23pp. Thanks dosa street we'll be back.

small cafe like setting. Went to have a dosa. The dosa was fantastic. We all loved it. The member of the staff was very polite and helpful. I would recommend this place for the quality and taste of the food.

Best idly and dosa we’ve ever had in the UK! The idlis were incredibly soft and fluffy, and the accompanying chutneys and sambar were outstanding. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves authentic South Indian food—especially fellow idly lovers.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Dosa Street, and I must say, it was an absolute delight from start to finish. Tucked away in a charming corner of the city, this gem of a restaurant offers a culinary journey like no other. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by an ambiance that exuded warmth and sophistication. The modern decor, complemented by subtle touches of traditional elements, created the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience. Now, let's talk about the food - it was truly exceptional. The menu boasted a fusion of flavors from around the world, expertly crafted to tantalize the taste buds. I started with the Mutton Chukka, a delightful appetizer bursting with freshness and zingy flavors that set the tone for the rest of the meal. For the main course, I opted for the Chicken Biriyani , and it was a symphony of flavors. The perfectly cooked Chicken, with its crispy exterior and tender flesh Each bite was a harmonious blend of textures and tastes, leaving me craving for more. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who anticipated our needs and ensured that every aspect of our dining experience was flawless. From recommendations on wine pairings to accommodating dietary preferences, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. In conclusion, Dosa Street is a culinary gem that deserves to be celebrated. Whether you're a food enthusiast looking for an exquisite dining experience or simply craving flavors that will awaken your senses, this restaurant delivers on all fronts. I can't wait to return and explore more of their tantalizing menu offerings. Highly recommended!"
