We tried the weekend brunch buffet at Dosa Studio and were quite disappointed. While the vada was crispy and the sambar was hot and flavorful, and the samosa chaat made at the counter was a nice touch, the rest of the experience fell short. The chutneys lacked any tempering or flavor, making them quite bland by Indian standards. The dosa service was extremely slow, and when it finally arrived, the dosa was very small with barely any aloo masala inside. The pooris looked overly oily, and although there were several curries that would pair well with rice, there was no white rice at all, which is very unusual for an Indian buffet. We went with a lot of excitement and hunger, hoping to enjoy a hearty and authentic Indian buffet, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the expectations and wasn’t worth the price. Definitely not the experience we were hoping for.

The South Indian cuisine at this casual place specializes in various dosas, idli, and more. Going on Christmas night was kind of a mad house but this is clearly a popular place that aligns with the taste of the food. The masala dosas were crispy, and the coconut chutney, rasam, and sambar were fantastic, as was the sambar idli and dahi vada. Gulab jammun capped the dinner with four pieces (rare for an Indian restaurant in the U.S.) for dessert. This gora pakora had a happy tummy tonight. *** Update July 2025: It's still really good. Rasam was amazing. No problem getting a table this time.

Good place for dosa. A bunch of types of dosa available to choose from. They also have specials each day, like chaat buffet, pani puri etc. the service was ok. The food came quickly.

Visiting SD from Midwest and stopped here for brunch. Not recommended unless really craving south indian food and willing to have 0 expectations. Had a few things including idly, mysore masala dosa, tomato onion chilli uttappam, Pongal, and Rava Kesari. Everything was subpar in terms of taste and flavor. Sambhar was more or less similar to runny dal as you wouldn't be able to tell that was sambhar if no one labeled it for you. Idly was too hard. Coconut and peanut Chutney were salty but ok (not authentic though). Rava Kesari had some flavor with good sweetness.

Google
Dosa Studio was a disappointing experience overall, with only a few redeeming aspects. Dosas: The dosas were the sole highlight of the meal—crispy, flavorful, and freshly-made (live counter). Unfortunately, they were the only item that stood out. Other Food Items: Everything else on the buffet was subpar. The idly, Pongal, and other dishes were of poor quality, lacking in both taste and freshness. Even the chutney and sambar, staples of South Indian cuisine, were a letdown. The “unlimited” buffet is misleading, as the quality simply doesn’t justify the concept. Service: The service left much to be desired. It was inattentive and unorganized, which only added to the disappointment. Ambience: The ambience wasn’t much better—uninspired and far from inviting, making the overall dining experience feel lackluster. Overall, apart from the dosas, everything about Dosa Studio falls short of expectations.

This restaurant is friendly, authentic, affordable, delicious, flavorful, and incredible!!! My wife and I come for the Thursday all you can eat buffet and we slowly enjoy every bite we take. Oh… and it’s all vegetarian! This is the best place for authentic vegetarian food that makes you dream about your next visit. I know I’m dreaming about my next visit.

I haven't eaten more authentic South Indian food, even in India. Ghee glistened idlis, perfectly roasted Wadas, crunchy mirchi bajji with perfectly sauted onions... boy, oh boy.... it was outta this world.... above all... the sambar was so mild and tasty with okra and brinjal, we ended up eating 2 bowls of sambar, just as is... for South Indian food, the chutneys make all the difference when it comes to elevating the experience, and the guys nailed all 3 chutneys...can't recommend enough... and to top it all... it's very inexpensive...

Very tasty food, fast service and very kind people! 🙂 I will definitely visit again to eat this authentic South Indian food.

Yelp
I went on the chaat night where they provide AYCE pani puri and samosa chaat. The food was amazing! It was my first time ever having pani puri and I think that they made it well. The service was very nice. There is a staff member in charge of distributing the pani puri and the samosa chaat and they are willing to give you as much as you need. The inside of the restaurant is clean. They provide you with chai and an assortment of different foods alongside the pani puri and samosa chaat The price is also great. The cost is only $14 for all you can eat which is amazing. Parking is pretty easy t find as well and there is plenty of seating available in the restaurant. You seat yourself once entering which is nice. When I went there was plenty of seating so I did not have any issue with that.

Yelp
Dosa and pani puri are not commonly known Indian dishes, but they should be! I'm a fan of the mysore masala dosa and the 6 pieces of pani puri. The flavors are great, but the portions are not so great. The dosa comes in a huuuuge outer crunchy layer but the potato filling inside is so tiny. The chaat night was... less than stellar. I definitely like my pani puri with a lot of filling inside, and some chutney... the guy outside that makes them put like a teaspoon of filling inside the crunchy shell then dunked the whole thing into a vat of chutney, which was so overwhelming... also not sure how sanitary it was (but I'm still alive to tell the tale so can't be too bad).

Yelp
I have to be honest but I was prepared to give them a poor rating from the start. Their website and yelp say their brunch starts at 10am, and instead they opened at 1045 I guess because the previous night was long and fun. As such we were stuck waiting for a long time after arriving just before 10. But the food was worth it. Oh my goodness this is the best Indian breakfast in town. The variety is great with lots of options and especially ones that offer protein which is appreciated. If I had to give some highlights the Sambar, the eggplant masala and the fresh dosas were absolutely amazing and the chickpeas and rajma options were also delicious. they also have good dessert and chutney options. definitely worth going to visit and to eat at such a good price.

Yelp
Delicious!!! That's all i have to say about this dosa spot. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. All you can eat sambar and rasam and chutneys and oh so tasty! The dosas were crispy and the potatoes divine. They are huge so consider sharing. They have a dosa buffet on wednesdays i think. Can't wait try it!! Prices are reasonable and service is friendly.

Yelp
Got the kara masala dosa this time. Very spicy and very delicious! The mango lassi is also very good and I love the chutneys here. Very reasonable too!
google avatar

Yelp
Wednesdays are chaat night and just $13/person; it's a buffet and we were super full. You can also order off the menu. The paneer dosa isn't too spicy. You just go up and pay at the register. There are sauces and sides at the side bar. Lots of families and college kids. Everyone is very nice and welcoming.

Yelp
When you walk in, the restaurant is clean and has a minimal vibe aesthetic that is nice. I came here on a Friday night and to my surprise there weren't nany people there. The staff was very nice and gave some recommendations upon request. I was not expecting much when I ordered their dosa but these dosas are absolute units of a dosa. They come stuffed with the normal potatoes and spices. If you ask for extra spicy, it'll actually be pretty mild. I would highly recommend their mango lassi. They go a little heavy handed with the mango puree and it is divine. If you want the sauces, you can help yourself at their sauce bar. I would give 5 stars but it wasn't spicy enough

Yelp
Walked in here spontaneously because I never had a dosa and most definitely will be coming back! I am trying to eat gluten free and lactose free, and was pleased to get the vegan masala dosa. I loved the texture, and potato filling was delicious. The chutneys were so delicious as well. The workers were really nice and food came our quickly. Prices were really reasonable and portions are huge. Super casual spot with amazing food. Can't wait to bring my other friends!

Yelp
Dosa Studio is a vegetarian restaurant which serves authentic Indian food. The Bhel Puri is a crunchy snack with puffed rice, chickpea fried sticks, onions, etc in a tamarind sauce. The mixture of crunchy, savory and sweet/sour tamarind sauce is delicious. I just wish the puffed rice was a bit more crunchy. The Halva (cream of wheat sweet halva), Chole is spiced garbanzo beans and the puris are fried flour tortilla like breads. The perfect bite is a bit of the puri with both the spicy beans and sweet halva. I've been trying different dishes every time I visit. The wait staff are pleasant but can't really help describe the dishes well. You get a 10% discount for paying cash.

Yelp
I really like the Dosa studio. We ordered the paneer dosa and the Tiffin Thali. This was definitely more than enough for two people. My favorite was the Tiffin Thali. I liked it because I was able to try a lot of things and it was very tasty. Our total came to $30. The Dosa of studio is super chill and casual. There's ample seating for intimate and large parties. The service is great, and the staff has great recommendations! We will definitely be back. It is really easy to park too.

Yelp
Always had great experience here. Helpful friendly staff and the best idli and chutneys. The dosas are great and so is the chai. Clean minimalist atmosphere I like it.
google avatar

Yelp
Very healthy vegetarian food! I really enjoyed the idly (steamed rice cakes) with the free healthy vegetarian sauces (low on sodium and didn't taste added oils, only natural crushed cashews and peanuts). On Tuesdays it's only $1 a piece of idly. You can easily get full off of 3 idlys and the free sauces!

Yelp
Came on a chaat night and most of the family ended up getting the all you can eat chaat. My spouse and I enjoyed all of it - other family members not as much. I think that's to be expected in any buffet type situation. The restaurant was hopping and filled with other Indian families, though, so I'd say its a well loved event. I usually don't do chai because of the milk, but I couldn't stop drinking cup and after tiny cup - the flavor that night was ON! One of our party got the masala dosa and I was able to try that, too and it was quite good. Total comfort food. The restaurant is clean and during this busy night, you could see that they work to keep the dining room in shape throughout.

Yelp
Not my jam. Was in Mira Mesa and searched for a vegetarian restaurant. This place came up. I like Indian food, so I thought I'd give it a try since they have 4.5 stars on Google. I advised the folks at the counter that I had never been here before, and they told me to get the buffet. I think it was around $15-$16. The restaurant was full of Indian folks enjoying the food. As someone who is not familiar with Southern Indian cuisine, the buffet was kind of confusing. Some chick who was getting food at the buffet helped me a bit. The food choices were limited to some type of bread that was mostly fried (Medhu Vada, Puri, or Idlis) or rice dish plus sweet, thick chutneys that I had never seen before or curry type dishes that were also new to me. Some of the hot food wasn't very warm. I personally would not eat here again. The food was just not my taste. I would have liked to seen some fresh salad or something healthier to go along with all the fried foods. Don't come here expecting Royal India. This type of cuisine is a bit different.

Yelp
Highlights first -- so so excited to have a new dosa & vegetarian addition to the San Diego food scene! I dragged my family here to compare it to our usual San Diego spots and I will definitely say the vada here is a STANDOUT. They were perfectly fried and crispy but still soft in the middle with the perfect amount of seasoning. Absolutely a fan. Now let's take it back a little -- you sit down and order then can go over the chutney/sambar area to get your own condiments/sides for your dishes. I had the mysore masala dosa while my family had the rava dosa and the paper dosa. The mysore masala was good though not quite as piping hot as the rava dosas and the paper dosa at the table. The masala seemed fresh and there was a good amount rather than too little/too much. Unfortunately for the table, the rava dosa had a salt issue -- seemed like they had crazy oversalted the batter so a couple of my family members had a hard time even finishing their food. We let them know at the end and they offered to remake the dishes, but we had plans to go elsewhere so we declined. They were super open to the feedback though and really nice about trying to fix the problem so that was appreciated. Parking is in a rather big lot so shouldn't be an issue though can be crowded at more busy times. Prices are fair for what you get~

Yelp
This is a great stop for all you can eat for dosa buffet. We always go either Saturday or Sunday morning at 10am to beat the crowd. Food is delicious and the guys who work there are very friendly fly and hard working.

Yelp
The food was OUTSTANDING. It's so legit--it reminds me of the delicious food I had last time I was in India. Everything I tried was super flavorful and tasted like it was home made (as opposed to made in big batches). The staff were very friendly and we had a large stroller with us and they knew and directed us to the appropriate table that easily accommodated the stroller. While there are quite a few tables, we recommend arriving early as the place gets completely packed. Like line out the door packed. We arrived a half hour early and were only #3 in line to get in. There were around 30 people waiting in line by the time they opened their doors. Also, caveat: they don't always open on time. In my opinion it's totally worth the wait! The ambiance is a step up from diner style. It is clean and basic. The most important thing to me is the food and they knocked that out of the park. We already made plans to come back with friends!

Yelp
Very interesting taste. Fluffy and sauces. Never had anything like it. Staff was helpful. I say try this on a Tuesday when it's $1 each.
google avatar

Katharine K.

Yelp
Incredible food at an amazing price. I have to say this place is a hidden gem. I am very impressed by the quality and variety they offer. The service is always good but the store can get a little packed, loud, and busy especially on all you can eat dosa nights. Not a bad thing just something to be mindful of.
google avatar

Peter Z.

Yelp
The place looks nice and fresh on the inside and the location here is Indian food central. There are 3 Indian restaurants here in this shopping court, so lots of competition and honestly Dosa Studio specializes in dosas to stand out. It seems like Charminar is always busy and this place isn't as busy, but today I walked around and thought hey it may be worth a try. I enjoyed the spices of my dosa, and especially loved the red spicy and nutty sauce served on the side. The green minty sauce wasn't for me, but that's ok. The staff is attentive and the food is good and reasonably priced. You might need to get something in addition to a dosa as they are large but airy so not as filling. Anyways, in summary - solid flavor, good price, good staff. I got to go but the sauce bar in the back looked like something I gotta try next time! Worth a second visit for sure. Thanks yall

Yelp
Helpful staff :), yummy food at a great price. I need to come back for the weekend buffet or dosa night on thursday. The chutneys were so good, tamarind, cilantro and coconut were my favorites. the sambar was good, i tend to like mine spicier tho. The mysore masala dosa was good, slightly soggy but i attribute that to the takeout container. In all i'm def coming back to do a sit down dinner because it seems like a happy casual community oriented restaurant :)

Dana K.

Yelp
Good dosa, the prices were cheap and the service was good. Safe choice for South Indian in the San Diego area
google avatar

Thulasi O.

Yelp
excellent iddli, vadai, dosai, milk coffee, and a few other south indian dishes like the poori/korma... the north indian stuff on the buffet was ok, but nothing i would come back for.
google avatar

Dan T.

Yelp
The owner & staff deserve a lot of credit for providing the best quality & value for Indian Veg in all of SD County. On my 5th trip so far and it has been consistent each time, which is rare in the Indian food scene. Kudos to the team and hope you keep it up.
google avatar

Yelp
Food was delicious. This was our first time here and we were given these recommendations. It was pretty empty during a weekday dinner. Will definitely come back for the weekend brunch buffet next time which looked super popular when we drove by the first time around. Each dish comes with 2-3 sauces We got the Idly vada combo. The idly was a spongy, fluffy rice cake and the vada was this perfectly deep fried, soft black lentil donut. The combo came with a Coconut chutney and vegetable chutney which was also good. The Mysore masala Dosa was the other dish we ordered. The dosa was like a thin crepe that was not soggy at all and had a potato filling inside. It came with the two sauces above in addition to a peanut chutney which was my favorite out of the three. I also like that you can refill the sauces if you need more.

Yelp
The Food Court at Plaza Sorrento in Mira Mesa has another new eatery in its diverse lineup. The former suite that housed Gazua Sushi and Dining Pub has been taken over by its next door neighbor, Charminar Indian Restaurant & Catering. The owners have turned the space into one specializing in dosa (Indian-style stuffed crepes made with a fermented batter of ground black lentils and rice). The grand opening of Dosa Studio occurred earlier this week on Wednesday. As noted on the marquee below the business name, the menu was purely vegetarian centered around various fillings and sauces for the dosa. Idly (savory rice cakes), vada (deep fried snacks made with black lentils), and uttapam (thicker pancake with toppings) were the other main categories along with some evening and weekend special dishes that featured South Indian cuisine. A buffet will be offered in the future as you could see the station setup in the back right corner of the dining area. My visit occurred at the end of a weekday lunch period when the room was still nearly at capacity. For my to-go order, I selected a Masala Dosa and a Tomato Uttapam. The dosa was stuffed with a spiced and savory potato filling and folded over a few times to fit inside the take-out container. The crepe dough was a bit dry in some parts. The uttapam contained tomatoes, onions, and spices. I liked this product better as it tasted like a potato pancake with tomato flavoring. One area of needed improvement would be the preparation time. The kitchen may need more staffing at the peak lunch hours because it took 30 minutes for my two items to be readied. Other than that, I felt the flavors were sufficient, however I will defer to more experienced vegetarians and Indian diners to be a better judge of this.

Yelp
Yay! A new Vegetarian South Indian restaurant closer to us! I found Dosa Studio on Yelp and I was eager to check it out. We had dinner here last weekend 4/1 and we tried quite a few dishes from their menu. Idly (3) - Steamed rice and lentil dumplings Medhu Vada (3) - Lentil Fritters Ghee Dosa - Rice and Lentil Pancake with Ghee (Butter) Onion Uttapam - Similar to a Dosa but thicker and with onions. All the dishes were very good and authentic in taste! Our waitstaff was very attentive and service was great. All in all, one of the better Indian restaurants in San Diego!! We will be back to try the rest of the menu!!

Yelp
This is a relatively new restaurant in the area. They serve vegetarian food and have a south Indian menu along with some chaat dishes. We went there for lunch during a weekday. It was not crowded at all for 12pm. We ordered a podi dosa (surprisingly they were out of Mysore masala in the morning itself) and an idli Vada combo. Dosa was good but the podi (masala powder) kept falling out as if they did not put enough ghee/oil. Idli was also not great. They have the chutney bar from where you can pick whatever you want. Their sambar and rasam from the bar were delicious. Coconut chutney and peanut chutney were not that great. Will surely give them a shot again to see if things have improved. Cost wise they are very reasonable. They do charge a service fee if you are paying using a credit card. Cash payment gives you some discount as well. The staff is very friendly and the ambience is also good.

Yelp
My parents and I come here every weekend for their South Indian brunch. There are so many varieties for food options. It has become our weekend tradition that we all look forward to.

Yelp
My friend raved about this new Indian place by her apartment and I decided to accompany her, not having had dosas before. I'm Chinese, so this cuisine is relatively new for me, and my descriptions are for people who haven't had this type of food before. For appetizers, we both got mango lassis (delicious mango yogurt smoothie, if not a bit small) and shared a pani puri (5 blown up wafers with a chickpea mixture + green sauce). She taught me to crack the top open with a spoon, put in a mixture of chickpea, potato, and red onion, and drizzle generously the green sauce (which reminded me of thin green salsa). It was pleasantly cold, savory, all the right textures to get your palette excited for dinner! She's gluten-free so she ordered the idly vada combo (2 fluffy white pieces of dough and 1 piece of fried dough). Per her recommendation, I got the masala dosa- a HUGE crepe-like dough folded in on itself to fit on the massive tray, filled with masala (seasoned yellow potatoes and cooked onions). I'm glad I got masala dosa because it made the meal that much more filling (I don't know if I would personally get full off of eating one large dosa) She instructed me to dip my food in the 4 sauces offered that day (peanut, coconut, a thicker savory one, and a thinner spicy one) - all self serve on the buffet tray in the back. I loved everything I ate! The prices were shockingly low for San Diego and you get 10% off your order if you pay with cash (winning!). It would be nice to have more photos on the menu, if not a description of what I'd be ordering (for non-native Indian cuisine goers), but the servers are friendly enough where you could ask them to explain the menu items! Would 100% come back again!
google avatar

Dawn B.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious! Got the vada and found out that they have a weekend Buffet for only 1599. I will definitely be back next week. I arrived just before closing and they even gave me a free vegetable Samosa with all the fixings and it was delicious. The vada was crispy and hot and they gave me a ton of different dipping sauces with it. I can't wait to go back and try more.
google avatar

Kimberley C.

Yelp
If you're hesitant to try this restaurant, don't be! They are so helpful and spent time walking through their entire menu to explain each item and give their recommendations. We ended up ordering 2 different dosas and a vegetable samosa appetizer, but we definitely want to return and try some of their buffets! The mango lassi was amazing too.
google avatar

Ameen K.

Yelp
The crowd here speaks for itself! There is a reason why we see so many of our community members lined up for some delicious, authentic, yummy indian food :) Give them a try! Specially love the Dosa stand on weekends. You get to see the prep work of the fresh dosas. Pan to plate :)
google avatar

Annalee S.

Yelp
The food here is absolutely delicious! I was nervous about going because I'd never eaten most of the menu items before. I did some research on the different menu items beforehand so I would know what to order. Everything we got was AMAZING! We ordered the pani puri, paneer bhurji dosa, and the tiffin thali. I highly recommend getting the tiffin thali if you're not sure what to order because it is like a sampler of lots of different dishes. The pani puri was divine and I really loved all the different sauce options to dip the dosa in. All our food came out quickly and the service was great. Note: if you pay with cash you get 10% off! I'm already looking forward to coming here again!
google avatar

Jen S.

Yelp
I'm not a dosa expert by any means so take my review with a grain of salt! I've only tried a few other dosa restaurants in San Diego so i'm comparing it to them. Unfortunately I wasn't impressed by any of the dishes here. I tried one from each category. Dosa Studio's location, parking, and customer service are all great. Staff is very accommodating and will explain the whole menu to you. So worth a stop if you are new to the cuisine.
google avatar

Rajesh S.

Yelp
Awesome dosas with awesome unlimited sambar and chutney. We had a good time. One of the few pure veg places
google avatar

Johnny N.

Yelp
I came here for the buffet and would say that it was totally worth it! The buffet is $15.99 per person and has a large variety of dishes, chutneys, desserts, and drinks like Chai and coffee. When I arrived, I was told that outside seating was available and indoor seating would be around a 25 minute wait, but a two-person table opened up soon after. The service overall was excellent! Something to consider is the buffet line being a little long. It was around a 15 minute wait to grab food, so I would recommend budgeting the time and filling up your plate. The food was great, with the selections at the buffet being constantly refilled.
google avatar

Isamu G.

Yelp
I like good vegetarian food. Ppl come around with complementary plain dosas, so good service. Great ambiance and great chai!

Khushbu P.

Yelp
As a dosa cravers, I visited dosa studio which is recently opened. The variety of dosas were good, I tried two and they were delicious too. I dint like sambhar and Chutneys. Chutneys were too watery and felt bland. Sambhar daal was good but not that I like to eat with dosa. Good ambiance, interior is good. Service was fast and nice.
google avatar

Yelp
Food is beautifully and carefully made. I love the ambience of the restaurant. Shoeb was very attentive.

Yelp
5 stars for the weekend Buffet. Absolute value for the money. The spread is amazing with so many varieties. Not just usual idly dosa and puri vada, but also much more like dahi vada( full marks. Yum), bisibela bath, veg pulav, pakoda, etc. Very good varieties for the price for sure. They are very crowded and had to wait long to get seated. I liked everything except idli, which was meh. Dosa was served fresh from tawa, and it was well made. Sambar and coconut chutney were decent . Allam chutney( guess ginger??) was awesome and very different. Mysore pak in sweets was homestyle and tasting good. Coffee was so so.. I wish they maintained the same quality with the same amount of varieties and managed the crowd even better. Also, they should definitely keep bigger cups for sambar. The ambiance was decent.

Edward A.

Yelp
Dosa and samosas were pretty good, the chutneys were just ok, the seevice was decent but a little slow, and unfortunately found a little critter or maybe bioger on my dosa tray that i wiped off with a napkin.

Yelp
Mira Mesa has a worthy entry to the South Indian vegetarian scene with the opening of the Dosa Studio. If the opening and the food served during the event is anything to go by, we have a winner on our hands. I feel that Dosa Studio has done a pretty good job of satisfying the taste buds of all the guests today with smiles and plenty of congratulatory messages on getting the taste right coming in from all that surrounded my table. The restaurant management did the right thing many providing a buffet the first day so that the guests get a taste of everything that will be on offer over the coming days. Commonly served / familiar staples are a great measure of a restaurant in how they recreate it and if there is any unique spin to these. To that end, I was extremely satisfied with the sambhar, rasam and the chutneys served. These were freshly prepared, appropriately spiced and thankfully there wasn't any outlandish attempt to change the centuries old recipes. Sometimes, sticking to the original and doing it right makes it perfect. The Upma was very well prepared and was neither too runny nor too dry. Spiced perfectly, it made for a good brunch option. They did a good job with the Veg Pulao as well but that was expected with the management's experience with the hugely successful Charminar restaurant. The Idli and the Uthappam were also perfectly made. These are traditional breakfast items in (south) India and getting these right can be a make or break point for any restaurant in the business. The Gaajar ka halwa served was absolutely sumptuous and oh will be going for that every single time in order deserts at this place in the future. A vast majority of the vegetarians prefer that food is prepared in a vegetarian-only kitchen and that is the case here. The management mentioned that the buffet is going to be available on Fridays and over the weekend. Lunches on weekdays would include Thalis with a revolving selection of dishes. All in all a thoroughly satisfying and worthwhile experience. They definitely have a repeat customer in me.

Yelp
Came here for the weekend brunch buffet. Less than $20 for a good variety of food, and even though we came closer to closing they were still refreshing the buffet line so food was fresh and hot. Really good selection of South Indian dishes, and the quality was overall very flavorful, and not too oily or spicy. There was a guy making plain and masala doses fresh to order, and they were very good. They also had a couple of North Indian dishes and multiple dessert options. I only wish the drinks came in slightly bigger cups so you did not have to get up multiple times for water or chai. It was nice that they had both outdoor and indoor seating so we could get a table right away to eat. Overall I had a great experience and am looking forward to coming back!

Yelp
Perfect Sat and Sun lunch buffet for vegetarians. Tons of selections to choose from. If you want to try authentic Indian food, this a good place to hit up but you gave to be able to tolerate spicy food

Yelp
Ever since DH got to try out Dosa Studio's opening day buffet and came home with rave reviews, the kiddos and I couldn't wait to try them out ! We arrived at noon and of course the place was full. But it was great to see staff handling the steady influx of guests in stride.....tables were being cleared and cleaned up promptly after each guest leaves to reduce wait times. The lunch buffet included a really nice variety of predominantly South Indian vegetarian dishes: Peanut Chutney, Coconut Chutney, Uttapams, Idlis, Medhu Vadas, Upma, Sambar, Rasam, Tamarind Rice, Lemon Rice, Curd Rice, Chole, Puri, Kesari, Carrot Halwa and Chai. Dosas were brought to the table. All the dishes were great- appropriately spiced, yet not too spicy for the kiddos. My personal favorites were the medhu vadas - perfectly crisp on the outside and peanut chutney... followed by the cooling curd rice. Yumm!! The kiddos loved the uttappams and the carrot halwa. The wait staff was continually bringing in new batches of every dish - uttapams, puris, idlis etc thus ensuring that the guests are treated to freshly prepared food with minimal to almost no waiting for any dish to be replenished. It was quite impressive to see the entire staff and management cater to all the guests in a buffet service so efficiently on their very first weekend after opening. While each of my family had different individual favorites, the one thing we all agreed upon is that we definitely need to return to try their à la carte menu.

Yelp
Shoeb was great host and provided a warm welcome to this new dosa spot. The food tasted great and the assortments of chutney and curries made this AYCE vegetarian dosa spot one to check out!

Yelp
Decided to try this place after reading the reviews. We got there at 11.30am and there was a wait for about 20mins. The buffet was fantastic with variety of South Indian dishes including upma, pongal, rasam, idli, vada, sheera etc, dosas were served fresh and there wa salsa a samosa chat table. The food was really good - the only thing I didn't enjoy were the idlis. They were not very soft. The service was amazing. Will be coming back again for sure.

Yelp
Excellent South Indian food! This is out go-to place for dosas in SD. The prices are very reasonable.
