DosBros Fresh Mexican Grill

Price to food ratio is much better here than likes of Chipotle, Moe’s or Willy’s. Online ordering was easy and the food we received was adequate. The only issue was we ordered nachos but the chips came on the side.

My mom placed an online order for us earlier today. My food was extremely watery and cold also the portions are terrible. Which is kinda crazy bc i got there early and essentially watched them make it. This location has consistently went down hill over the years. Management is terrible the employees are children who don’t want to work and have attitudes as well.

Lorraine Carter is an absolute gem! She did the most incredible catering set up for us. It was so fresh and perfectly laid out. We didn’t have to lift a finger. We have since visited this location just because it is so much better than the others!!! I cannot say enough good things about her, her team, and their quality and attention to detail.

Wow I'm so disappointed. I just ordered delivery through Chow Now, and when food got here, they had the wrong jalapenos on the nachos, and I only got one bag of chips when I specifically paid extra for Chips & Queso (I also ordered Nachos, that said it comes with Chips on the side so they don't get soggy, which is actually the only reason I ordered their nachos). So I let Chow Now know that I didn't get everything. They in turn, contacted the restaurant... and Dos Bros said they gave me everything per my order and denied Chow Now's request to refund me for the chips. It's not even worth the fight for just chips - Thankfully I had a bag of tortilla chips, but it's like what, $2? It's just an incredibly disappointing situation. The food was delicious. But I won't be using Chow Now or eating at Dos Bros again, such a shame. If I pay extra for delivery and tip the driver, telling me I can come get my chips & queso is tacky and unacceptable.

We ordered this from door dash. Everything but the chips was placed in a large bowl. In the 7 minutes it took to get to my home, everything in the bowl was a disgusting liquid soup with nothing but the lettuce being distinguishable. I called the store and they blamed me for not specifying on the side. There’s no option to do so. Continued to state it was policy to put ALL ingredients into the bowl. That’s not true, I go in person and they put it on the side if I say it’s to go. Terrible customer service. Wasted $20 on a bizarre liquid soupy mess. Will NEVER be back. I’ll go to Salsarita’s or Moe’s.

Do not visit this location. The woman in charge of this store is unpleasant. I have been here many times. Today I ordered a bowl with half pinto/half black beans instead of one or the other, as I do every single time. I was told today that that’s not allowed and promptly left the store and will not be returning. Previously I had a line worker inform me when I asked for “more” cheese that the manager instructed the workers to pinch the cheese with “THREE FINGERS” and if you want more than that you are required to pay extra. (An entire $12 steak bowl requires more than a three finger pinch of cheese). I really do enjoy the food & to be a frequent customer treated like this is a shame. I hope that the treatment at this location doesn’t reflect on Dos Bros as a whole. I will never spend my money at this location again.

Sadly, the worst Dos Bros experience ever, I usually love the chain but I had throw away my food because it was so bad. Everything looked and tasted old. The guac was totally brown, the chips were stale, and everything tasted “off”. My kids wouldn’t even eat it. They also sold me a fountain drink without telling me that the machine was out of order (after I had to remind them to give me a cup). Looked unhappy to have a customer in the empty shop. It was clean but the music was like club music, not the vibe. Almost $20 for one inedible meal. Hopefully management sees this and can get this chain to the usual level of quality for this chain, I sincerely hope this is helpful feedback.

Basically every time you go in the afternoon the guacamole is suspicious. The orders are almost never right if you door dash. Just ordered and yet again wife never gets double beans on her veggie bowl even though it's requested, and I didn't get chicken with my chicken bowl.. chips are stale. They keep asking for a review, well here it is, this location is sub par. The one downtown is fantastic every single time I go.

The service was great. They made my meal in a timely fashion, and the restaurant was very clean And of course my quesadilla was good.

I agree with the other review. The portions are smaller than we have had at the camp Jordan location. Seems like they were told to use small portions for some reason. The service people were nice and the lady who helped us check out was very helpful.

First time visit to this Mexican grill. The food and service were great. I would definitely go back and recommend.

Have loved DosBros since I was first introduced to their location in Cleveland. I love them even more now during COVID. Their cleanliness and guidelines, I think, are a good model for keeping a food business open during this pandemic. The food is great, particularly if you happen to visit when someone's on the grill refilling the meat. Their portions are monstrous and their burrito-folding skills are superb. Honestly, I have no idea how they close my burrito after I've added rice and beans and meat and salsa and cheese and sour cream and guac and cilantro. Always delicious; gotta eat it while it's still wrapped in the foil so it can stay together lol I was skeptical about going the other day since I can't control how or whether or not anyone else follows COVID guidelines, but the 3 other customers that were there when I went were following the rules. There are signs posted right at the door, then on the floor, on the tables, on the walls, etc., so the message is quite clear. The workers had masks and gloves on as well. Someone came out from the back to refill the ride and she had gloves on as well. I have no way to know what goes on in the back area, but I was at least encouraged based on what I saw in the front of the store. Give them a try! (Oh, yeah: I'll take pictures of the food next time lol)

The restaurant was fairly clean and the staff was nice enough. But the food was really just flavorless and inedible. The nachos are just poorly assembled and the way they are packaged where they smash your chips with the lid just made it even more inedible. I left a picture of the mess that I just ended up throwing in the trash. Thank god my company paid for this lunch. I will never spend my money at this establishment again.

This place used to hook you up with free chips and salsa. Even if you get a veggie meal, it's the same price as if you're getting steak somehow that makes sense. the queso says five dollars for 4 ouces of it but it's only filled up halfway. I would much rather go to Dos Bros then chipotle but it does Bros as becoming just like chipotle they give you a three pinch of cheese and if you ask for more cheese, that's gonna cost extra. Really just shows that they don't have trained people in there to make people want to come back

Fresh, made to order burritos or bowls. You get chips with your entree at this location, I don't think you get free chips at all DosBros. This is a sleek modern restaurant in the new shopping centers by Hamilton Place. Quality of food was good.

Let me start by saying, I LIKE THE FOOD, it's just that I had a bad experience my first time going. I chewed on a wire that was inside my burrito. Thankfully I didn't get hurt but maybe they could clean their stuff more? I noticed it could have come from a metal scrubber? Either way it was hard to eat the rest of the burrito knowing I could be swallowing something sharp.

Came to visit my mom for her birthday and heard about this restaurant.. Figured I stop by and see what it's about. OMG!! When I say they are better than Chipotle,, better than Chipotle!!! Not only is the food fresh and seasoned.. I got free chips too!!! I also got to meet the Owner (Ciera) who gave me a little history of the restaurant.. I told her we need one in Chicago!! 5 Stars!!! Great Food, Great Customer Service!!!

This place is awful. Brown guacamole. Poor service. No chance I would ever eat here again. Clicked one star out of necessity to post review, ZERO STAR fake Mexican good.

If anything is wrong with your order the staff is not concerned in the slightest. Food is ok, not great. There is another DosBros in the Hamilton Place mall near here, the staff cares even less there!!!

Ridicules prices! Never again. $60.00 for 2 senior citizens food was ok but not as good as Los Compadres in Lebanon!

ZERO STARS. We're visiting from Chicago and see great reviews for this place, so we come here with great expectations! The place is empty so we walk right up and start our order. I'm the last to order and I get a steak bowl. I ask if she can put the sour cream on the side. She starts to put some in a little cup and the girl next to her stops her while saying "We charge extra for that." I asked "For what?" She said, "For putting it on the side." I was confused because we'd ordered guacamole and queso -- which I understood cost extra -- but I was genuinely confused what she meant. I said "But isn't sour cream part of it?" "Yes. If it's on the bowl. If you want it on the side, it costs more." I said, "How much more?" She didn't know. And then she walked away. So I asked the first girl, "How much more does it cost to put it on the side?" She didn't know a thing and just stared at me. I asked the cashier. He was totally unaware of this whole thing and he said "I don't know, ask my manager." So he calls his manager and I ask her. Her answer was complete nonsense, She was rude and impatient and could barely tolerate my question. Basically she just said it costs extra with no idea how much "extra" meant in real money until it was rung up on the register. Clueless. She never gave a dollar amount. We spent over $54 and couldn't get sour cream in a plastic cup on the side. As we were paying, the girl came back out who originally stated they charge extra, and I ask "I don't understand how you can charge more for something, but no one here - not even your manager - can say how much?!" These are the people who make a great case for self service kiosks. If I didn't have hungry kids to feed right then, I would've walked out and gone somewhere else. And this was just the worst part of an overall horrible experience. She wasn't able to answer basic questions about the food (what was least spicy?), never asked what options we'd like on each order (if I weren't there my kids would've had plain items) and the rice was hard and crunchy. JUST AWFUL.

Dos Bros located at 2396 Lifestyle Way Suite 114, Chattanooga, TN 37421 I love love love that this place is black owned (well I think it still is), but I hate all the cross contamination. I know this may be something that is expected with the way the food is setup, but they should reorganize and put the cheese in the front since it drops into and on everything else. Vegans beware unless you want cheesy veggies (because there's gone be some dropped on it ) or meaty veggies (because their nasty gloves gone touch your veggies) do not go here. WHY ARE THERE NOT SERVING SPOONS OR TONGS FOR EVERYTHING?!!! DO NOT GO HERE AFTER 6pm THEY ARE OUT OF EVERYTHING BY THEN AND DISHES AND FOOD IS STACKED AND THROWN EVERYWHERE WTH. I will say most of the workers are nice and friendly and the floors and bathrooms are always clean, but the way the restaurant is being ran is a mess

I ordered online and paid online. When I got to the restaurant I was told my order fell on the floor. the front person re-fulfilled my order quickly while I watched. I was offered a drink while I waited - nice touch. The food was delicious! I will definitely be back.

Walked in and one gentleman name Ty was running the entire show. Went through 3 or 4 customers quickly promptly and accurately while other employees stood around watching. He deserves every bit of the $20.00 tip I left. TY is the reason it got 4 stars

I've been to this location numerous amounts of time and I have to say that it's good. The food is fresh and the atmosphere is amazing!

Very nice staff- but it is a less tasty Chipotle. I didn't taste the seasoning in my bowl that I had hoped would be there. I will likely not be back.

Serra and Campbell took care of us on our lunch break they made sure we were following safety guidelines as far wearing our masks and the food was so good they really took care of our gas team.

Friendly staff, good food, and adjusting to cov 19 standards. Issue... 6 workers doing tasks, but just letting customer stand there. One was helping a customer... who worked there.

Went to the Dos Bros on Lifestyle Way near Hamilton Place Mall in Chattanooga last evening around 6 pm with the family (8 of us). The "A-Team" was definitely not on staff last night. "Sorry, chips are reserved only if you order the nachos." WHAT!? No chips at a "Mexican" restaurant!? "Sorry, no sour cream" only to miraculously appear later for someone else. The cashier argued about the price of something that was printed on the board above her head. And so on and so forth. My son who had managed a Moe's was angry at the lack of good management and lack of good staff training or professionalism. The rest of us were not all that happy either. NOPE! Never again, especially at those prices.

I have been to 3 of the locations around Chattanooga and this location is the stingiest with the portion size. I don't expect them to load everything down but my burrito was the smallest I've ever had. Also the chip bag was like it was filled by lays, it was mostly air. The employees were very friendly. I just think for the price they should give you the proper portion you are paying for.

The restaurant is clean and well decorated. The employees were friendly. Order took longer than the projected wait time (online order). Got home and tacos were missing the rice I had ordered on them. Also, I paid for 3 sides of queso and only got 2. Not super impressed with this location, but the food was decent. It would be worth your time to go in and order as they may perform better this way. Overall not bad, just a little disappointed. I love Dos Bros!

When the first thing you order is a protein, you'd expect the protein to be featured in the order. Got home with no protein. No beef as ordered. Ate a vegetarian meal in its place. Called and asked for a manager. Was told the manager had left for the day. Waiting to see if I get me refund...

I had an absolutely amazing experience here! The food was fantastic and the employees were so friendly despite being slammed the entire day since it was opening week. I was wrongly charged and didn't realize till I got home and they were so willing to make it right that they called me back and refunded me. This is where I'll be eating Mexican food from now on! You just can't beat good employees, good portions, and fresh food.
