"‘Zui’ means ‘fresh and lively’, which applies equally well to both fare and chef. His cheerful personality and energetic expression reflect his passion for cuisine and service. As a restaurateur who studied in Kyoto, the chef makes Rishiri kombu and light-coloured dried bonito flakes the foundation on which he works. Each dish is restricted to just two ingredients, so each component leaves a strong impression. He is especially adept at pairing ingredients with their own dashi, as seen in the sea bream sashimi accompanied by a jellied broth of sea bream dashi." - Michelin Inspector

Delicious set of dishes with a wide variety of flavors and ingredients. Each one of the dishes is delicately design to blend and bring out the delicious flavors of the food. The chef was very kind and translated/explained what all the dishes were about. This was one of our favorite experiences in Japan.

To be frank, I can’t sum up my experience succintly. I booked the 8-course meal for my birthday and was absolutely blown away by the sheer deliciousness of the dishes. Each dish showed the freshness of the ingredients, paired with simple sauces that simply made sense. As many others have noted, you get a ton of food for what you pay for, and the service is attentive and not too overdone. Great experience with delicious food that shows off the Japanese way of cooking and food preparation.

This place is an absolute gem. The price is absolutely incredible for the quality of food you get here, which can compete with some of the best restaurants in Osaka. The atmosphere, however, is more casual and the chef (who runs the place with his wife) goes out of his way to explian the dishes and provide a lovely dining experience

Dined Dec 2024. Mostly seafood and vegetables. Great quality dishes at reasonable prices. Waitstaff are friendly, attentive and speak english. They have table seating (for 6 and 2) and a counter (8 or 10?).

What a wonderful experience and omakase meal! The husband and wife team that run the restaurant are so friendly and warm - they wrote out the whole menu for us in English and used their translation app to help with communication. The meal was extremely varied and everything was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. The ambiance is clean and inviting. The price is a bargain for the quality of food. They had multiple omakase course options depending on how much you want, and we found ourselves wishing we had ordered the maximum just to try the other dishes. But what we ate (9 courses) left us more than satisfied! Thank you for such a wonderful evening and experience!

An amazing chef with delicate step by step experience of food, he explained every course clearly and beautifully. It was all fresh and gorgeously designed, every step made our night with how much love and care went through the process. The pottery was beautiful too. He made our anniversary incredibly memorable. Thanks Chef!

"Exceptional Omakase Experience with Impeccable Hospitality" Despite being a bit late to our reservation, the staff greeted us with the utmost hospitality and warmth, setting the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. The omakase menu was a true revelation, each course meticulously crafted to take us on a delectable journey of flavors. Every dish was prepared with the utmost care and attention to detail, allowing the fresh, high-quality ingredients to shine. The harmony of flavors in each plate was truly remarkable, showcasing the chef's deep understanding of balance and restraint. Paired with an expertly selected sake selection, the meal was an absolute delight for the senses. The chef's passion and dedication were evident in the way he introduced each dish, despite the language barrier. What truly sets this omakase experience apart, however, was the genuine hospitality displayed by the entire team. The chef's unwavering presence at the storefront, graciously seeing us off until we were out of sight, left a lasting impression and truly embodied the spirit of Osaka's culinary culture. I cannot recommend this omakase restaurant highly enough. If you're seeking a feast for the senses and an unparalleled hospitality experience, this is the destination you must visit.
