A Wine Novice’s Weekend Guide to the Walla Walla Valley | Eater Seattle

"A streamlined, modern tasting room in a buzzy stretch of downtown that’s known for a quaffable cabernet sauvignon and contemporary, sultry wines; the brand opened in 2022 and its bottles have been “racking up points.” Part ownership includes former Seahawk Sidney Rice, and with local wine celeb and master of wine Billo Naravane (Rasa Vineyards) on staff, it is unusually one of the few operations in the area — and the broader industry — with both a POC owner and winemaker. If guests like what they taste, there’s another location in Woodinville." - Meg van Huygen

Theo Is Seattle’s Most ‘Instagrammable’ Chocolate Shop | Eater Seattle

"A former Seahawks wide receiver (a star in Seattleites’ hearts thanks to his membership in the 2013 team) is opening a tasting room at Dossier, the Walla Walla winery he owns with real estate guy Tim Lenihan; the tasting room will host events and otherwise be open by appointment only, and you can get special access to a private room if you join the “Dossier Portfolio” club. The winery is also holding a pop-up at Kinglet on April 8, with tickets available." - Harry Cheadle

I was super excited to bump into Dossier while visiting Walla Walla this weekend. I did not know they opened a taste of room out here, and I have been wanting to try their wine for quite some time. Living near Woodinville. Overall the varietals were quite good and the room was cozy, but what lacked was the personality behind the service. I’m looking to join places but if I don’t get a happy to see me vibe and your just pouring my next drink so you can get back to your other conversation compalining about who’s around and who’s not, that can be seen as unwelcoming. Sadly I got that dreaded “I can’t stand tasters” vibe. The 2 bottle purchase is very steep to wave a fee but is mostly what you’ll find in Walla Walla.

Gorgeous tasting room, delicious wines and friendly service. Their Flagship Viognier and Sauv Blancs are so, so good. Michael, our Dossier host, was very generous and kind. We can't wait to get back to Walla Walla. Highly recommended.

Dossier is, in my opinion, the most notable and exciting addition to Downtown Walla Walla! I was really blown away! First of all, the aesthetic when walking in is breathtaking. From the entrance, to the wall of wine, to the Dossier wine boxes it just feels like a place you want to spend time in! We sat down and were greeted by Brandon and Michael. They were all stars and not only incredibly knowledgeable about every wine but also fantastic people to spend time with! Thank you for making our experience unforgettable! Every bottle we tried was a winner. What surprised me was how fantastic the white wines were. I am more of a red wine person and don’t spend much time on white pours, but I relished the Sav Blanc as well as the Viognier! The Index (Bordeaux blend) was also incredible. And I have to mention the wine glasses. They were delicate and beautiful and made the wine-drinking experience all that more special. Riedel is great, but these were special. I think that was the theme of our experience, special!

Very nice ambiance and great to fantastic wines. The flagship index red and flagship Cabernet were our favorites. We got to taste a bonus rose and a bonus Syrah. The tasting also featured generous serving sizes. Recommended.

This place is fantastic! From the aesthetics of the tasting room to the wines, we enjoyed everything about Dossier. Michael and his team were friendly and engaging. I was really impressed with the wine. I had heard good things so I had high expectations and i think they were even better than I expected. Excited to have another great Washington winery!

OMG! Michael and the wines are amazing! Michael knew the ins and outs of every grape that went into every wine we tasted. I can’t say I’ve ever met someone — other than the winemaker themselves — who knew so much about each wine. And be sure to ask about the #1 wine of WA in 2023 from Wine Enthusiast.

I am from the wine business in Slovakia & Singapore, being in Walla Walla for 1.5 day and this was one of the strongest experience in this region. Very well crafted wines, great ambience and top service by Michael. CS Halo reserve 21 is something to remember! ! Thank you.
