Google
This is my favorite local grocers. Primarily because they have a glorious meat and deli section with fair prices, and great customer service. You can get everything else you would normally look for at any other grocers as well. You can pick out delicious and affordable dinner options (eg. 4 breaded pork cutlets for $3.95), or order some premium cuts for a special event (eg. standing prime rib roasts).

Oh my. I made the mistake of walking past the deli counter after breakfast today. So many goodies. I thought I'd get something to snack on and even though their prices are fantastic, I spent $30! I'm going to break my scale bathroom scale! 😅 Great breakfast in 'The Bullpen, in the back of Dots! The sausage links are incredible. Great food, great service. Highly recommended!

Google
Quaint little market. Prices on every day items is high, a few Amish sweets. The entrance is backward, so when you walk in you have to go to the left, not the right. Its strange, but it is what it is. The check-outs are strange, too. They dont have conveyors for your stuff. The meat counter looked nice, there were a lot of people waiting to get meats. I couldn't find where to get a number so I just left. Overall its a cool little place, unique. I'll go back when I have more time to browse.

We had breakfast in the bull pin which is a little restaurant inside of dots. It was Father's Day and the surface was great. She was busier than a cat. Covering 10 mice holes, but she was pleasant. She never let any thing bother her. The food was great. It was a good, it was good. Time for it being Father's Day and I'm being as busy as she was. I'd eat here. I've eaten there since great food.

Google
Nice grocery store. Meat dept is amazing! This is where you need to go for quality meats.Their general shelf items are pricey but I go there for any meat or deli needs.

Google
A gem in the Belmont community. Their meat dept is top notch. Watch for sales on strip steaks, ripeness, and t-bones.

Google
Their sausages are the best!! Prices are good too, I thought. Recommend 100%!! Will definitely go again.

Google
An easy place to get in and oit for groceries. It is one of the best places to find great meat products for the grill.

Yelp
Dot's have an excellent meat and deli counter. It's their hallmark. Dot's have a great selection of canned goods. The bullpen offers an excellent choices of food for a sit down dining experience.

Yelp
Excellent as always at any hour, but I came for brunch today. Their steak and eggs is a classic meal in a classic setting.

Yelp
Just love Dot's Supermarket! Especially their meat market. Great prices and they always have what I'm looking for when I'm shopping. I can count on Dot's Supermarket!

Yelp
Patterson Rd store in Dayton. Was there today and will never shop here again There are so many better stores in Dayton. I was looking at the cash register screen and it appeared i did not receive sale prices for items that were advertised $5 off 5 items. The cashier asked what was wrong so i explained to her and she immediately became rude and defensive, the some other person got involved and was just as rude and treated me like i was trying to rip Dots off. Turns out after they verified the items to the receipt, I did NOT receive the sale prices and was over charged $10, Never an apology , boo, hi, or kiss my ass. They simply DO NOT CARE about their customers. I done!

Yelp
Bull Pen Diner in the back right of the supermarket you get to walk back into yester year. This little dinner has locals and regulars written all over it, because you'd never know it's there otherwise. With a simple and straight forward menu that reminds you of simpler times you can't go wrong and all their meat items are quality because it's Dot's supermarket (who only carry the best meats around). You have to try the 1/2 pound burger for only $7.99. It's amazing, chili is good, hot dog is good, grilled cheese only $2.99 and regular or spicy fries, thank you very much. This is a great little find and truly is a hidden gem. Not even locals who have lived here their whole life know about it. Ooo, they serve breakfast all day too. I love this place it reminds me of the places I grew up going to that no longer exist, great service, simple menu, amazing price. Just wish they had a window or too, but that makes it unique and I love unique. Check out the Bull Pen Diner you'll love it..

Yelp
Dot's is a good locally owned market. It still has a pretty decent selection of items. The prices are mostly reasonable. Service is better than the other grocery stores usually are. They are usually pleasant to talk to. It doesn't look that good from the outside. It's not a bad area but it's not the prettiest either. The parking lot is kind of treacherous but there's usually plenty of spots. Inside they have about 10 aisles. There's a pretty big produce section. It's one of the best grocery options in the area. In the Belmont neighborhood this is really the only place to get food. They don't have the selection of the chains but they have better service.

Yelp
Just left Dots Supermarket on Patterson Rd. I had the worst service from cashier Cathy, told me to leave her station because I can't hold up the line, do to issues with my pre-ordered meat. She called the manager, and I wanted to explain to him about the issue and I ask her to leave and she kept inserting herself, which angered me more. The problem finally was fixed, although I will never go back to Dots because of Cathy the cashier! Theresa

Yelp
Brought back some meat that was smelling really bad and customer service had a bit of an attitude

Yelp
I really appreciate Dot's food delivery service. My mom has used them for years and it is a comfort to know she can get quality groceries delivered. She speaks highly of the items, particularly the meats and deli. Thank you! https://www.dotsmarket.com/home-delivery/

Yelp
I love their Deli and their meat counter. My favorites from the deli is the Sloppy Joe mix, & the gourmet chicken salad !

Yelp
Very fresh meats. They have high volume so its a pretty good chance the meat hasnt been sitting around chillin. They have hard to find specialty cuts. Only place "ive seen" in Dayton that has Wagyu beef in stock. They also have a sit down restaurant inside the store. And another area (steam station) that sells food to carry out at the end of the deli dept. They have a nice selection of meals also

Yelp
Poor customer service. She bagged one sack , then stood there talking, I had my receipt and had to wait on her. she then bagged the second bag pushed it toward me, and items fell on the floor. She made no attempt to help me pick them up.

James R.

Yelp
prices are a tad high, but I like the old homey atmosphere. also like the retro getting your groceries bagged for you

Yelp
Decent market with full grocery store and even a small restaurant. Good selection of meats. They were a bit busy when I came as I waited about 10 minutes at the meat counter. Meats look fresh with mostly vibrant red cuts. This place is nothing fancy but the quality of meat makes it a better choice than some of the larger grocery stores.

Yelp
If you haven't shopped at DOT's before you should. They have great customer service. My husband left without one of his bags. He called the store and let them know he was missing an item. We showed our receipt and they replaced it for us no questions asked. Plus they have fresh meat in daily. I would recommend this hometown grocery store to anyone.

Yelp
Dot's on Patterson Rd. used to be a hidden gem. Best grocery around. Ever since the new owner took over the prices have doubled on so many items... stock is low on everything. There beer is always warm. The store is DIRTY. Even for their Easter hams their prices are like $1.99 + when everyone else's are .89 & .97 a pound. So sad to see this happening - used to be such a great store. Funny how you NEVER see the new owner... I wouldn't show my face either if I were him. The only thing going for this place is the meat counter and the Bull Pen. So Sad.

Yelp
Good place to go for meat. They have an excellent selection of high quality meats. I go here every 2 weeks for meat. Other grocery prices are a little on the high side and selection isn't too good, but they're nowhere near as large as a Walmart or Meijer. The meat counter folks are always friendly and helpful.

Yelp
Dot's earns four stars based on their fantastic butcher. They make their own sausage in-shop, and while there's a rotating schedule of sausage specials, if you call a few days ahead they'll prep an order of your favorite just for you. The quality is a cut above the stuff you find in most supermarket meat departments, and the prices are almost always better...especially with sales. Prices on name-brand packaged goods are comparable to Kroger, although the store brands tend to run a bit pricier than Kroger's. The only real disappointment in the place is their produce aisle. It's incredibly basic, and what they do have tends to be a bit raggedy looking. It's still better than the produce at the Commissary, though, but that's a really low bar. Also, they deliver! I've yet to take advantage of this (its hard to guess when I'll be home to receive an order), but it seems like something worth investigating.

Yelp
Small place but fully stocked. Good prices, decent staff. Personally, would prefer a larger store but for the good location - I've been multiple times and never had a bad experience.

Yelp
I have a problem with the size of Dots chicken breast. They are huge. This is inhumane for the chicken. When chickens get too large, their legs break and they are left In pain, sitting in excrement until slaughter. Where is your compassion Dots! Shame on you!

Tim U.

Yelp
They do not enforce the mask mandate. Half the customers were not wearing masks. Some were having extended conversations with employees. Several customers were grouped together at the meat counter without masks. I will not return.

Yelp
Keith at the Meat Counter is a gem! The meat counter at Dot's Market is fantastic. Super fresh and always busy. I have tried to go at what would normally be "off times" and the meat counter is always busy. Grab a # and expect to wait but it is worth it.

Yelp
I lived in Bellbrook for years and found Dots to have the very best of everything. 2nd to none.

Yelp
Dots Market is my preferred grocery store for basic groceries due to its nice size. Not too big. Not too small. I don't like huge grocery stores where you need roller skates to get around (i.e. Meijer, Walmart and some Krogers). Yet it's large enough to have everything you need. If you were born pre-1975, Dots will remind you of where your mom shopped! Also great service and I rarely have to wait in line for a cashier.

Yelp
Stopped here today to grab a gallon of milk on sale and decided to get a pound of ground round as well. The meat counter was jumping at 4 PM! Got my ground round and a pound of stew beef as well; it looks great! I will return when in the neighborhood.

Yelp
We love the meat department. The produce does not have a large selection. A good local market

Yelp
I wish they had a 4.5 star rating. Having car fixed, but needed to get groceries so I ordered via home delivery from Dot's. I like this service. It was easy. Just make a list and call them to place your order. You can also fax or email (the latter only if you tell them first) the order. I called since it was my first time and can ask questions. I tried to be as specific as possible. For example, I ordered a can of whole tomatoes, but asked them to double check to make sure there was no sugar added. I checked their latest flyer to see what was on sale, too. I used coupons, which they double, but only those that are not more than 50 cents. I ordered by 11am and had same day delivery later that afternoon. I reviewed everything I ordered (incl veggies, meat, canned, & frozen groceries) and it was all good except for a couple minor mistakes. But they took care of it without any fuss and I received my credit and replacement item the next afternoon--no additional delivery fee. The normal delivery fee is $10 no minimum or maximum order. Just remember that they are a small chain and don't have the huge selection like Kroger's or Meijers. I definitely recommend this service. It was great to have this option! Caio!

Yelp
Have shopped there for more than 19+ years on my own, with my steady before that. The very high quality meats and poultry have never failed to please. Once upon a time raised my own but I now order ahead for 40-50 lbs freezer use, three or four times a year, and they package it in convenient amounts, at no extra charge. They will even fast-freeze it ahead of time upon request, so your freezer doesn't work so hard. May other items are stocked for basic use. The deli counter is great, and varied. I have never had a bad experience there, and some of the ladies have neat hints and do not hesitate to answer questions. Great service with a very nice group of people,
