Small cute boba shop. They have a cute and new concept for snacks, waffles on a stick! They taste amazing, I tried the nutty coconut paradise. It was so nutty and chocolatey. I had the bloody raspberry tea and almond milk tea both are amazing and I recommend you try them both. The customer service was amazing, the barista was very friendly. The price is fair for the drink and the waffle.

Bought a honeydew milk tea from here and can say it was easily the best I've had in Dallas. The store has a nice chill vibe, the staff is really friendly and they really care to make the customers order perfect for the customer (i.e., they let you sample your drink for any modifications before they finish the order). Easily made my day all the better. Very much recommend this place for a nice bubble tea.

We got the piña colada smoothie and green milk tea. Green milk tea is not matcha green tea FYI. My tea was pretty milky and the piña colada was sour sweet. They got a spot in the back with some jenga and game cards. No complaints👌🏼cute shop.

Mixed feelings about the overall experience. The lady behind the counter was wonderful and very helpful. As someone who is new to boba she guided me through the menu and what to expect. I tried their coffee with boba and unfortunately both were weak. The coffee wasn't great and the boba didn't taste fresh.

From my experience, they have a rotating selection of specialty drinks and these are the ones I generally try. The price point of boba is pretty low-moderate compared to chain bubble tea shops. I usually go for a Brown Sugar or Caramel Tea with Boba, but this time I ordered a Taro Milk Blueberry Tea with Boba. There was a clear distinction between the taro flavor and blueberry like sauce/jam that was added to the mix. I really enjoyed this drink and can’t wait to go back and try the other specialty drinks. I hands down recommend you go by and check Dottea out if you like boba!

My absolute favorite bubble tea stop. Plenty of choices, great prices, relaxing atmosphere. The owners and their employees take great care to make sure your order is made just right. I definitely recommend this for the hot summer days and cold winter nights and everything in between.

Came by per a recommendation. The store is a neat, nicely organized smaller interior in a plaza. I got their Strawberry Milk Tea with regular boba since it's part of their summer series and I'm a sucker for strawberry. Overall, I like the creamy consistency and taste! The strawberry isn't overwhelmingly sweet either, though the boba could have been softer in my opinion. Decent boba spot worth a try! They have a good variety here too. PROS: - large amount of boba options - interior is neat and well kept - staff are polite and helpful - boba drink is creamy and tasty CONS: - boba could be softer imo

Great place for non-dairy smoothies! I'm not a tea or coffee drinker, but I do enjoy smoothies and Dottea always has terrific ones. I'm a loyal fan of their Piña Colada smoothie and it never disappoints. The couple that runs Dottea are very friendly and pleasant. I'm also really happy that they currently are adhering to a mask policy. It's important to keep the health and safety of the public in mind. They are also offering reusable metal straw kits for $9.99. I just got one and am really happy to have found a large, reusable smoothie straw for my smoothie addiction. 5 stars for Dottea all the way!

While I've had better boba tea, the spring rolls and the homemade Thai Chile sauce were amazing. She makes them right in front of you, and they are excellent. The skin on the eggrolls is perfect, and watching them be made is fun. Best homemade spring rolls I've had in a while (definitely better than restaurant ones too) Service is great. I will definitely be back.

This place is a hidden gem! They make all the same tasty drinks with different flavors as other boba tea places but at a much lower price ($3.50-4)! I got the matcha, taro, and peppermint mocha drinks which all tasted good according to my family members. I'm glad we chose to have half the sugar amount because it was still sweet and would have been sickening if there was 75% or more sugar. We also got less ice to prevent the flavors from being diluted. One of my family members did taste some powder in her matcha drink, so it probably could be mixed a bit better, but overall, we really enjoyed our drinks! Service was good, and it took less than 10 minutes for all the drinks to be ready.

My friend ordered the Cookies and Cream Smoothie and I got the Mango/Passion Fruit Smoothie. We both loved our drinks and this is definitely a super cute spot to hangout with friends! Looking forward to going back later this year to try some of their seasonal drinks since I keep hearing so many good things about them.

Cute place, with two couches to hang out and enjoy your beverage... but not much of a view. Tea was just tea like any other boba tea place. Prices were on par with the market, just over $5.00 for a large. Their presentation of product and options is lacking and could be improved. This place is average.

Had lunch nearby and had a boba craving so found this place on Yelp. The interior is overwhelming white but there were a few tables to sit down. Ordered a regular sized Milk Black Tea with boba at 50% sweetness ($4+). It's sweeter than most 50% I've had but I didn't mind too much. The milk black tea tasted like your average lactose free milk tea. All their milk teas are lactose free so I assume they use some sort of creamer in place of milk. However, the boba was extremely disappointing. It was not cooked well and it was chewy and hard in the center. Giving it one more star than I would because the barista lets you sample your drink to see if you like it before they give it to you.

Taro is great, boba is disappointing. What I got: Taro MT w/ boba - taro goes hard here. Taro at almost every single boba spot around here always tastes like plastic, popcorn, extremely watered down thai tea, or whatever else besides what it should taste like. I don't like the boba itself - I'm ASSUMING they use fructose/glucose with a hint of honey? Idk. The "flavor" thinly coats the outer layer of the boba, but after you get past that layer, it's like chewing on flavorless, semi-hard, ball formed gummies. I'm a sl*t for boba, so even though the taro is great, I don't think I'll be coming back. Environment: Really plain, quiet, and uninviting. However, the secluded area in the back is a nice touch. Service: The lady was extremely sweet! After she made my drink, she gave me a little sample of it making sure I 100% liked it.

Lovely spot hidden on the side of a shopping center, a true hidden gem. Wonderful custom forward couple running this place. Items take a minute to make,but is definitely worth the wait. The boba donut stick I could have eaten a solid ten of. Delicious,fresh and made to order. The boba milks Halloween tea was just as delicious and made a perfect pair. You definitely get your money's worth at this hidden gem. Stop by support local and enjoy!

Came back the second time and it wasn't as good as it was the first time. Boba was not cooked all the way it took a while to chew it was also very hard to chew and my jaw was tired I got the Jasmine Green MT again and it was slightly watery tasting. Service: It was nice of them to let me try the drink a little to see if i wanted it sweeter or not but... at the register I asked the girl in glasses if I could use the Yelp check in coupon and she said "yea you have to order something first." laughed a little in a rude way and gave her coworker a look. Of course I had to order something first.

Super cute place! The staff let me try the bubble tea first to make sure I like the sweetness level. Some of the flavors are creative and actually really good! Unlike any of the chain stores, this one is just very unique and cute. Highly recommended

Attention dairy free/lactose intolerant folks!!! They are dairy free here! (Except caramel macchiato and the half and half in Thai tea) I came in with friends and we all shared drinks. I was shook at how good it was! I loved their almond milk tea with boba. The bobas were so chewy and soaked in honey instead of sugar! I also loved the peach tea, there was actually pieces of peach in the drink! It was so refreshing! We got their two coffee drinks, the toffee and nutella. Both were delicious and can be made into a frapp. Location is hard to find but they are behind trader Joe's same building as 45mint

Amazing drinks! We ordered the piña colada smoothie which tasted exactly like a frozen piña colada and was very refreshing. Also ordered the coffee milk tea with boba and it was absolutely delicious. The owners are super sweet and there's a drink for everyone in the family. I would definitely recommend!

GREAT! Came for boba, left impressed. We bought taro blueberry, Thai milk tea, and a coffee based boba I can't pronounce. The girls running the shop were helpful, friendly, and kind. There was a group in the back playing cards while drinking boba which made our visit on an otherwise quiet, late Sunday afternoon inviting and lively. The shop is clean and the seating is comfortable. We would definitely drive from Downtown Dallas again for Dot Tea's boba. The taro blueberry was an impulse order and surprise group favorite. Worth the drive!

Very cute boba shop! They offer a discount as well if you bring your own cup. The man behind the counter explained the whole menu to me and was very helpful. They ask you about level of sweetness and ice in your tea as well, which I always appreciate. I ordered a mango green tea with 50% sweetness and light ice, which turned out delicious! They also give you a sample of your tea in case you want to make it sweeter, which is so awesome. I'm rarely in this part of town, but I would be a regular if I lived around here! It would be a great place to get work done or catch up with friends.

Staff was very helpful in suggesting what to get based on what I like! I got the coffee milk tea with boba. It's made with actual coffee instead of coffee flavoring, which really made the drink stand out from other bubble tea shops. We went on a Saturday afternoon. There was only one other couple in there, so they got our order out almost immediately. The set up is super cute and bright. They have some small tables in the front, then a couch in the back with a tapestry hung above it. I'll definitely be returning!

Cute little boba shop tucked waaaay in the corner of the strip mall near urban air. Super nice service and a good variety of teas and smoothies and toppings. We sat in the little couch area in the back and played a game of uno. My only complaint is that theyy have a really small selection of muffins and cookies but I was kinda looking for some savory snacks to go with my boba tea...

Need to cool off...Dottea has got it covered. Totally wasn't expecting this but the smoothie and the service was delightful here. I came here to kill some time. It was 100 degrees outside so I needed to cool off. These guys had WiFi and they were super nice and friendly and offered recs for just the right fruit balance for a perfect smoothie. The WiFi's solid. They have a lounge area in the back. The music is perfect to work or study to. I'll come back if I'm in the area. Pro tip: it's across the street from Look theater. Maybe I'll sneak a smoothie in? Just saying...

I'm giving this place a pretty good rating mainly because of their service. They're veryy nice and helpful. They also give you a little sample of your drink before they seal your cup to make sure the sweetness is right! I do have some positive criticisms for the drinks though. We ordered an oolong milk tea w/ boba and an almond milk tea. Now if you're not a fan of strong tea flavors, then this place is for you. Unfortunately, my friend and I were looking for a stronger/bolder tea taste. Oolong is a partially fermented tea that has a slightly bitter and roasted flavor. The oolong milk tea we got tasted like sweetened milk - it wasn't bad, but it wasn't what we thought it would be. The almond milk tea was better (of course, because we weren't expecting a tea flavor). Their boba is also super chewy and unfortunately we weren't a fan of that either. Overall, very cute store and friendly workers, but drinks do need some tweaking. I would definitely try again (and maybe give this place a full five stars)!

We decided to try this place out because we were in the area and I'm so glad we did! They were having a photo shoot for their menu I believe so we thought it was closed but they welcomed us right in. I ordered the Taro tea and my boyfriend ordered the Oreo milk tea with strawberry boba. Both were really delicious and they even let us sample our drinks prior to giving us our actual one to taste for sweetness. We even got 5% off for checking in. The drinks are huge and tasty and they really care about their customers. I definitely recommend everyone stopping by and trying this place out!

Very cute and quaint! Perfect little Stop for a drink before heading out. Prices are cheaper than other tea places and conveniently located near the Galleria off of Preston across the street from Torchy's. It's not in the best location in the complex and was kind of hard to find (it's the last store on its strip behind Trader Joe's. Service alone gets 5 stars. The barista was kind enough to let me sample my drink so I could adjust the sweetness/taste if needed. She was very helpful walking me through the menu. The flavor was on par with its competitors though the boba wasn't as chewy as I wanted it and were slightly hardened, making it difficult to bite through. I also didn't like that there was so much ice in my drink that quickly watered down the taste. The cups aren't branded in any way. But the drink itself was pretty good. They have a rewards program with a punch card to get a free drink after so many visits. Check in on Yelp gets 10% off! Inside is very white with matching white tables and colored chairs. There's one random corner that's very cutely decorated and perfect for pictures. I didn't find the chairs too comfortable though- and the acoustics aren't the greatest. Also the A/C didn't seem to be working so I wouldn't recommend staying and working, but perfect for outings with a small group of friends.

Stumbled upon this small spot when I was in the area. I really enjoy milk tea but don't drink dairy anymore so I was pleased to see a place with milk alternatives. The almond milk tea was pretty good. I would recommend half the sweetness of you order it. I got mine 75% sweet, which was still a little too much. Overall, it was okay. You also need a $4 dollar minimum to pay with a card.

This was a really great cute vibe at this place. Will come again.

A bit run down, doesn't seem very popular, but the lady at the front was very helpful. She asked if it was my first time there, and apparently they let you sample the drink you order before they seal it up, just to make sure you'll like it! I ordered the honeydew milk tea, half sweet, and I was surprised that was the half sweet level, I still thought it was decently sweet. I think I'm still in the market for a good honeydew boba, but this place was pretty good! Good boba consistency, great service. Only complaints are that it is a tad pricey, they don't have the seal-over lids so I was constantly worried it would spill on the way back, and the place could use some more light and general brightening up. Will be back!

Oh dear...I really wanted to like this place, but their pearls had absolutely zero flavor. My husband commented that it was the first time he's been able to taste the tapioca, which really isn't the point -- they should be sweet chewy balls, ideally sweetened by soaking in honey. Also, their pearls were slightly undercooked, a little too hard in the center. I had the taro milk tea, which actually contains no tea at all. It was okay, but the flavor was just a little muted/faint, almost like it was too watered down. Thought it would grow on me, but it really didn't. Service is attentive and sweet, so three stars mostly for that. They let you sample your particular mixture before they pour it, and they really encouraged us to get a different drink if we didn't like the one we picked. I really had my heart set on taro, though...and it just missed the mark.

This place is wonderful! The couple that run the shop are always working hard to make sure your drinks are perfect and you're satisfied. I love the Seamfoam coffee and the green tea and my boyfriend loves mango black tea and Thai teas! Honestly we have never had bad drinks here and we come here often! It has become our regular spot. It's a great hole in the wall and I encourage you to check them out!! They have smoothies, teas, boba, coffee, and so much more! They let you customize the sweetness of your drink, give free samples, and it's only 50 cents more for a large!! We love them!

Hubby and I found Dottea while in the neighborhood and having a milk tea craving. The young lady was very helpful and customized our drinks to our sweet level. She even gave us a taste before putting in the cup to ensure we are satisfied with the taste. The boba was soft and chewy. We enjoyed it!

My family stumbled across this hidden boba/coffee shop after taking our children to Urban Air. This place didn't disappoint. The hazelnut frappe was legit, fusion strawberry peach tea, mango and pineapple smoothie and my basic husband got strawberry banana and we were all happy with the drinks! We'll be back!

Always happy to see a new addition to the boba/pearl tea scene. I ordered my go-to: green milk tea, 1/3 sugar with pearls, no ice. As others have mentioned the service here is great. The drink... Not so great. The tea isn't all that fragrant and the boba doesn't have a great chew or flavor. (The boba I make at home is far superior!). Also, I was extremely disappointed by the amount of boba they give you. It costs 50 cents to add, same as other spots, but they give you half as much. To be honest if it weren't for wanting to support a small business I'd probably have given them a lower rating. Hopefully they'll see this as constructive criticism and at least be more generous with the boba, even if they couldn't improve the milk tea.

I love this boba spot, came for the first time with some friends, it's cute and chill inside. They were quick to make my drink. I will say it is a lot less sweet than other boba places, but I personally really appreciated that. I got a mango green milk tea and not all boba places are willing to make that but they did AND KILLED IT!!!! It is amazing, I'll definitely will stop by again!

Very cute and homey bubble tea spot. The owners are really sweet and remember their repeat customers' orders. The drinks are sweet without being overpowering and easy to customize. They also have seasonal drinks to keep the menu fresh.

I chose to try this place since it was near a park I wanted to visit, and didn't know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the staff was and really liked that they let me sample my drink to ask if I wanted anything different. I also liked that they had multiple nice, comfy couches to sit on and that the noise level was quiet enough for me to study comfortably for hours. However, I don't recommend getting the fruit smoothies- they don't taste like real fruit at all and resemble more of a slushie made with syrup. My friend got the coffee though and liked it, so don't discount all of their beverages! Overall it seemed like a pretty average boba place tucked between a strip of other shops.

I have been looking for a boba place with good quality tea for over a year. This is one of the tea shops I decided to try that was still in our area. Walking in, my boyfriend and I loved the place. It was cute and small but they had a variety of flavors which I couldn't find in other tea shops. The employees were nice and they made our drinks considerably fast. The drinks were as good as my favorite place in Austin. Highly recommended!

Love this place! The two owners are so nice and sweet and welcoming every time I come in. All of their drinks are the best in town!

I'm not one to write reviews (especially negative ones), but the people who work here were shockingly rude. I walked out of the store almost in tears over how rude these 2 ladies who worked there. I ordered a jasmine tea with lychee jelly and then the lady asked if I would like any add ons and I said no because I had already said lychee, so I assumed she meant anything besides that. I got my drink and it didn't have any lychee jelly in it, so I took it to the front and very kindly told them of the situation (not thinking it would be a big deal). The guy took my drink to add lychee and looked at the receipt and said that they must've forgot to put lychee on it. The two ladies then come back and very loudly say "she didn't say she wanted any." Their tone was very ugly, annoyed, and inappropriate. I felt very uncomfortable and even very politely offered to pay for it since it was left off. The two ladies attitude towards me was like I was some liar trying to cheat them out of the extra $1 add on of lychee. The two people I was with were also astonished by how unfriendly and rude the two ladies were to them as well. They were very short and not friendly and not very clear about the ordering process (I.e. one person ordered and then another girl tried to order and then they said the first girl wasn't done ordering?). Experience aside, two out of the three drinks people got in my party were watery and very subpar at best. I would recommend going to Junbi Matcha or Gong Cha instead, even a less authentic place, like fat straws, is better than here.

We ordered a milk coffee and a mango smoothie through Grubhub's online system here and it was ready on time. Coffee was hot and the smoothie was cold and delicious. The smoothie definitely was sweet enough with only 25%. However, I would call it a slushie because it's ice and flavoring (not fruit). Still tasty. The coffee had a strong roasted flavor, but was ok.

They were okay, but not bad. Just bubble tea. Nice service and cozy atmosphere. The menu just wasn't so exciting. I could be just expecting too much‍ but Id return for sure for the convenience.

I have recently rediscovered my love for boba and lucky (or unlucky, depending on how you look at it) for me this place opened within 2 minutes from my work. They are sooo nice, they let you sample the drink before they pour the whole thing, to make sure that the sweetness level is to your liking. In order of fave to least fave: 1. Milk green tea (jasmine) with egg pudding jelly - MY FAVORITE! Will continue to get this 2. Almond milk with lychee jelly - pretty good but jasmine tea is still my favorite 3. Honeydew with lychee jelly - super sweet, but good 4. Taro tea with egg pudding - not my favorite, would not get Taro because I don't like the flavor I will definitely continue to go back!

I visited this place because it was close and was so pleasantly surprised! I can't do dairy but most of their milk teas are based off a powder formula which I was so happy about. Their purple lilac latte was so delicious. The workers seems so knowledgeable and friendly! They were great with recommending flavors and toppings. 10/10 would come back for more good boba drinks :)

Favorite new boba place! The staff was super friendly and helpful. If it's your first time there they give you a small sample of your drink once they make it so you can make sure you like it. I got the Almond milk tea which is made with non dairy creamer and I really liked it, great subtle almond taste. My friend got the new-tella coffee and I tried it and it was amazing. Strong coffee taste with subtle hints of Nutella Ana chocolate, definitely getting that next time!! Good price point too.

I work near 635/Tollway and there is a shortage of bubble tea places in that area so when this finally showed up i was like "Awwww yea" I used to go to Fat Straws, but I always thought their drinks were a little too sweet for my taste and inconsistently made. This place is perfect for people who want to be able to customize a drink that's just right for them. Sure there big chain places that already do this like KFT or SharedTea but 1) they aren't near my work and 2) even if they were I'd still go here and I'll tell you why... Not only are their drinks good, but the owners are SUPER nice. If you've started to become numb or jaded to bad customer service from most bubble tea establishments, it is really refreshing to be treated so good as a customer. If you don't think you give a crap about this, you'll change your mind once you meet the owners. Either way, the drinks are very good as well. As I said, they will customize the drink for you but what's different from other places is they will even let you sample the mix first. So you can literally adjust the drink for your preferences instead of arbitrary settings on the menu. Totally agree with other reviewers who praise the outstanding and friendly customer service at this new bubble tea shop. Shout out for letting customers adjust the taste and being positive and upbeat. This is the way to run a business.

An interesting selection of drinks, and very friendly service. My only suggestion is for the owners to install a large sign over the register that says "Order Here" because every person that walked through the door, including myself, went to the wrong place. May also consider installing a flat screen tv and have it playing the news, or some entertaining tv shows. But keep it on mute with subtitles on.

This is my second time stopping by and I got a green tea with sea foam topping, which was recommended by one of the baristas. It had the perfect blend of tea and cream. I personally don't like my drinks very sweet, and the barista accommodated to my tastebuds. The store is quiet enough to study and the large windows makes it feel spacious but still cozy. I would recommend stopping by!
